  • Title: Unmesi Messy
  • Emitter: Slixvah
  • Place: Soldier's Defense
  • Summary: The Soldier's Defense has an unexpected visitor today: Slixvah's brother, Zanzimar. He brings tidings from the Aerie for those who know Slixvah that happen to be at the Defense this morning--Auranar, Patch, Ravenstongue, Telamon, and Verna--as well as questions about Slixvah's wellbeing. He reveals that the Aerie has suffered a landslide, which means the Unmesi brood is going to relocate to Alexandria soon.

Soldier's Defense, Morning.

It's morning! Good morning! It's cold outside! It's warm inside! So wonderful and delightful, with the sun shining on the snow and-

"For the last time, Mister Unmesi,-" a bored, too tired, uncoffeed Lucht woman in droopy robes drones behind the front booking desk. "-patient confidentiality is important in this line of work."

A sigh leaves a man. "I understand, and I apologize for such intrusive questioning. I merely wish to-"

She holds out a clipboard to him, wagging it in a shooing manner. "If you want to speak with the patient, fill out this contact form. We will notify them of your inquiries."

--Five minutes later.--

Quiet, chittering grumbles come from a tall, muscular figure sitting cross legged in the waiting area. A clipboard in one hand with many pages flipped over while a quill in the other scratches against forms. He's kept warm from a plethora of pelts and cloaks to ward off the winter, while many bolas dangle from a bandolier. An unstrung bow rests beside him, along with a quiver of arrows. One drab olive and white feathered wing is held up in a shielding manner to block the sun from glaring into his face from the window. The egalrin's downturned, raptor like beak clacks softly at "-... why do they need ta kno' my..." He shakes his head, and continues scribbling.

Knowledge is power. Information is key. Thus, paperwork is the path to eternal glory. Well, it does make matters far more organized, at the least.

One proponent of forms emerges from a pair of bland curtains separating a section of the Soldier's Defense. Sage Mourner Verna bears papers of her own, which she brings to the front desk for filing.

Meanwhile, two half-elves emerge from deeper within the hospital, exiting into the reception area. The female half of the pair smiles in a warm fashion as she looks to her companion. "I'm glad that they're all right," Cor'lana Lupecyll-Atlon says, her arm going to wrap around Telamon's. "I'm glad I could take care of what was down there in the mines for them."

Pothy on her shoulder, however, looks right at the muscular eglarin in the waiting room. Bird acknowledges bird. He makes a corvid greeting call--

"Snacks!"

... No, just a Pothy greeting call.

The other half of the duo still shivers. "They're lucky to be alive. By the gods, a Kulthian golem? Might as well have been a fiend." Telamon Lupecyll-Atlon squeezes his wife's hand. "I'm glad you had all the help, though. Makes me feel a lot safer when I'm not around."

Pothy's croaking call of 'snacks' makes Tel raise an eyebrow, and he follows Pothy's gaze to the powerfully-built egalrin. "I think he's busy with paperwork, Pothy. Besides," he fishes around in his haversack for a moment, before removing a bag of dried fruit. "I grabbed this before we left. I knew you'd be hungry before we were through."

Patch comes not from outside, but from the treatment area of the Soldier's Defense. She'd had a long morning there, but for what? That's a secret for another time. She's dressed in her frilled shirt, her coat draped over her left arm as she's talking with one of the nurses on her way into the reception area. It's quiet and muted, but afterwards she's handed something to look over. As she settles to read her billing and disclosures, a green Egalrin catches her eye. "Know them when I see them?" a memory that leads to a grin. Wait. Was that a Pothy?.

Oh, and others. A lot of others. The surprise clear on Patch's face as she just raises a hand and wiggles some fingers to the duo of half-elves, and a nod to the Mourner. "It's moments like these I think I believe in all the talk of luck and voodoo." she says quietly, nestling to go over some things as her coat is placed on her lap, clipboard atop it. "What a strange morning."

Bird acknowledges bird. Or, rather, bird glances up from writing to give a confused raise of a feathered brow. A few darting glances from sky-blue eyes from the white corvid to the couple. The couple, to the mourner. To the elf, from the couple. He clears his throat.

"Typically, one does not reward such behavior from an animal," he mentions in a bassy whistle. "However, one with such intelligence, the rules differ." A pause. "Pardon me, would you two happen to be the Lupecyll-Alton couple?"

The elf's comments don't seem to slip by him, as he too includes to her, "You know them?"

Verna steps from the counter, hood dipping to Patch as first noted, with her focus linger on her for a moment. When the after-care documentation is noted or presumed, her attention shifts to the corvid call. It is with no surprise that she also spies the pair of demi-sildanyari, shortly followed by the olive avian. "In the case of Apotheosis, it is less a reward and more akin to bribery for silence," she opines.

It is, indeed, a Pothy, and he immediately flies over to Patch's shoulder, getting a snuggle and a nuzzle from the bard's cheek. "Patch!" he says in Cor'lana's voice, followed by many happy tail-wags.

Cor'lana, meanwhile, turns to the egalrin. There's an expression caught between amusement and bewilderment that crosses her face. "Yes, we are," she says. "Patch here is a friend of ours and a chosen sister of mine. And you are...?"

Her hand goes slyly to her chest. Sometimes it pays off to be cautious.

Telamon smiles at Patch and Verna broadly, and chuckles. "Yes, I know, sometimes fate has quite the sense of timing. It's good to see both of you, though." His eyes sparkle at Verna's quip. "Well, whatever works. Sometimes, it's best to feed him just to keep him quiet." Watching Pothy flit over to cuddle on Patch makes him grin, but then the strange egalrin addresses them.

Smoothly, Tel turns to regard the taller birdfolk, his dark eyes twinkling. "That would be us, yes. May I know who asks?"

"Oh, yes. They're good friends as Cor'lana says. She is my sister." Patch's amusement of the situation growing as she answers the green Egalrin.

With a Pothy now on Patch's shoulder, Verna's words are laughed at, flashing the corvid an amused grin. "Apotheosis? I guess all secrets have their price." a hand rising to stroke the creature with a crooked finger.

"I'm Patch. As announced." she says, turning to the Umnesi-Kin with a wide grin. "A pleasure."

"And more than you know, Telamon. I'd explain, but... secrets?" Patch flashing glance then back to Pothy. "Some are okay, right?"

"Coincidence and fortune can combine in rather unexpected ways," Verna affirms on the matter of fate. As the avian's inquiry was for Cor'lana and Telamon, who have confirmed their identity, she does not offer anything further on that aspect. Instead, her duties presumably completed or held for the present, she takes a moment to doff her robe hood.

"I see," the olive egalrin intones, sky blue gaze glancing from the couple to Patch. Connecting dots. "As mentioned, the rules are different for such beings," he adds to Verna's quip, as well as watching Pothy go on his nuzzle spree.

Multiple questions are answered with a simple, "I am Zanzimar," he answers, tit for tat. He rests his paperwork down on his lap. "Ceiwen's wind carry you all to free skies. I mean not to pry, but you all seem well known, at least, privy to the know. Would it be too much of me to ask some questions?" he politely inquires.

"Secrets," Pothy agrees firmly with Patch--he even borrows her voice. "Some are okay." Then he continues to nuzzle against Patch. The bard is getting an awful lot of Pothy-cuddles.

Cor'lana, however, seems... less amiable to the situation. Her lips press together into a line. "It really depends on what kind of questions," she answers Zanzimar. "I don't talk to people working for gossip rags. Neither does my husband." She's firm, but polite. "It'd help if I knew why you were asking them to begin with."

Coming from the direction of the gardens comes a woman in a bright pink dress that matches the color of the tips of her dyed hair. She carries with her a cloth-wrapped basket, and moves a bit lazily through the area toward her destination which is the Soldier's Defense. She pauses however as she notes the large gathering of individuals outside the Defense. She waves to each in turn, and then moves toward Verna with a smile. "Hello everyone! What's this about questions?"

GAME: Telamon rolls sense motive+3: (4)+20+3: 27

"Easy, love." Telamon's been studying the egalrin with a careful eye, taking him in. "I don't think he's a muckwriter." The sorcerer's eyes glint. "Besides, we haven't had too many of those ever since that last one, where you threatened to turn him into a drooling idiot. No... you're no gossip hound, Master Zanzimar. You remind me of my cousin Algar, in fact."

He folds his hands in front of him. "You can ask your questions, but I won't guarantee answers. A better deal, I think, than some would give you."

Poking at her Paperwork between petting the familiar on her shoulder, Patch raises a brow and nuzzles back, even using her head and short hair to brush the bird. "I am full of something, but I wouldn't call it a privy." she says to Zanzimar, pausing to look at Pothy oddly.

"You okay, Pothers?" Patch asks, smirking. "If you're worried. Worry not." she assures the corvid, even flashing her paperwork in tease. "Happy today?"

"I suspect I know some of what this is about, but I would rather know why you're looking for your sister." Patch says, her play suddenly ceasing as she's blunt with Zanzimar. One bird here clearly having favor. It's Pothy.

Zanzimar raises both hands in surrender. "Peace. Your husband is correct, ma'am. I thank you for indulging me."

The bright newcomer elf gets an appraising glance over before he bobs his head in acknowledgement. "Yes. My questions pertain to-"

He blinks, head quirking to the side to look straight at Patch. "-I... yeah, I am lookin' fo'- *ahem* I am looking for her. I am going to assume you know of her. I will also assume she is playing hard to find. I am looking for her due to the fact that last time she wrote the family, she had broken a wing. This was months ago, and hasn't checked in. I know she is of the cheeky sort, but its unlike her. When she failed to respond to my correspondence, I flew in to find her."

He folds his hands on top of his knee. "Her family is worried for her. At least I know she isn't dead. Could you inform me of my sister Slixvah's location?"

GAME: Patch rolls perform/sing: (13)+13: 26

Verna may have hypotheses of her own concerning the verdant egalrin and questions therefrom; at least one is called out directly by Patch. Her musings on this are somewhat diverted with Auranar's arrival, however. A smile blooms on her features to the sylvanori. "Welcome, Dearest. I believe there are inquiries of a familial nature," she proposes. Just in time for such to be confirmed. Another fortune of fate? "What brings you here?" She briefly turns to Zanzimar to offer some information and solace. "I can confirm that she is not deceased as of this morning."

Cor'lana is visibly assuaged by multiple parties: her husband's reassurance, Patch's handling of the situation, and Auranar's entrance. She casts a look over to Auranar as she enters. "It appears we're dealing with long-lost family of a friend," she says. "Good morning, Auranar, and I hope your wedding preparations are going well."

She looks back to Zanzimar. "She's fine. The broken wing's healed, and she's doing what she does best." Cor'lana's still polite, but there's certainly still a bit of caginess to her.

Pothy, meanwhile, replies, "Happy Pothy," in Cor'lana's voice, reassuring Patch that all is okay.

And as Lana calms, Telamon relaxes as well. "Ahh... it seems to be the season for family reunions," he comments a bit obliquely. His expression is cheerful, and he nods in agreement with Cor'lana. "Indeed, Slix has been quite the heroine here. She certainly has not brought any shame to her lineage or family."

At the sight of Auranar, he chuckles. "Pardon me a moment," before raising a hand to Aura in greeting. "Take care, Aura, Pothy is on the prowl and the sight of you might drive him to distraction." He grins as he says it though.

"Cheeky? That's an understatement, but if you know her so well, you'd know finding her doesn't work like that." Patch counters, sighing to Zanzimar's words. "You need something. I don't know what it is, but you aren't telling everything." the bard says, eyes narrowing a tad. "I'm told you're at least a good brother, and mostly honest." she says, shrugging as she continues to stroke Pothy with a finger. "So I'll confirm Mourner Verna and my Sister's words. She's alive and well."

At the introduction of Auranar, Patch diverts attention with a grin, speaking to Cor'lana. "That's the bride? Oh, oh!" the couple finally being seen together brining forth a grin. "It's good to have a face to the knowledge."

Auranar looks embarrassed and perhaps a bit cagey herself at the comment about her upcoming nuptuals. "Long lost family?" She seems curious, and she smiles warmly at the unfamiliar individual in question before offering him a nod in greeting. "I came to bring you some lunch Verna... Wanted to make sure you actually take a break."

She laughs gently and warmly, her dark cheeks warming at Patch's discription of her. "Hello, I don't think we've met." Auranar offers her hand to Patch. "I'm Auranar."

Verna's cheeks lighten and turn ruddy at Auranar's explanation. "My thanks, love. I was, in fact, just now taking some respite. Your timing is uncanny." Her eyes and smile shift to Patch with their introductions. Likely for propriety. Probably to beam over the meeting. Possibly to seek outside confirmation that she did actually take a break.

Zanzimar takes in the information people provide with a thoughtful yet calculating appraisal. Filing it away, connect it with other information. He doesn't seem one to quip at random bits of knowledge, instead more privy to take a moment to sort things out. His fingers drum against his clipboard, the paper request forgotten about. Save for a slight softening of the face at the mention of- "... that is good to know she is doing what she wishes. To help people in whatever capacity she can get her wings on."

Again, his attention shifts to Patch, who's hitting him with insight and questions right on the beak. He squints. "I appreciate the confirmation she is not dead. That would be... another tragedy-"

Zani flinches. Sighs. Pinches between his eyes. "I apologize for the dodginess of things. Yes, I know it's hard to pin her down. She's always been like that."

He cycles a breath. "... while I would prefer to speak with her personally about the entirety of the situation, I must inform her that the family is moving to the Aerie here." Seems like Patch's prying got something.

Telamon raises his eyebrows at Zanzimar. "Truly? Well then, surely this should be cause for celebration, though I admit if my family moved to Alexandria it would be a case of being 'underfoot'." He tilts his head at Zanzimar in a very birdlike way, studying the egalrin. "Unless this would be an inconvenience to Slixvah? I am not well versed in her family life prior to her coming here."

His gaze moves to Patch. "Patch, you spend more time with Slix, perhaps you could enlighten me? I believe there is a vast gulf in my understanding of the situation here."

"Oh, she's goin to hate that!" Patch says with a laugh, Zani getting her first reaction. "I think it would do her some good, but she's an independent soul." admitting she doesn't share her feathered friends full opinion.

Auranar is met with a flush and grin that's left over from the mirth at Zani. A hand rising to take the other elven woman's with a soft squeeze and shake. "It's a pleasure, Auranar. I'm called Patch." introducing herself with a curt nod. "Or at least I encourage it."

Telamon's words were partially answered when she spoke to Zanzimar, but Patch clarifies a couple things. "She adores her family, Master Telamon. I'm also told they adore her back. Mostly, but... trouble and issues brought her this way. Is it those same troubles as to why the family follows?" she asks with a shrug. "Or, is it something new?" speculating before the brother, prodding still.

Auranar smiles broadly at Patch, shaking her and in a manner that suggests that she's well versed in hand-shaking. Once Patch has turned her attention to the others, Auranar turns her own on Verna. "I'm glad you actually stopped to take a break yourself. I brought enough for the both of us. Well, assuming we don't donate too much to Pothy."

She glances toward the bird in question and gives him a little wave of her fingers. Auranar keeps her voice quiet though, not wanting to interrupt the conversation happening around them.

Zanimar looks between the others getting acquainted, him staying quiet to respect their fist meeting. "While it may not mean much from a stranger, congratulations on your future union," he respectfully intones to Verna and Auranar, returning the wave with one of his own.

Glances between Telamon and Patch make his brow furrow. "Make no mistake, we love our tiny Slixy-" One can feel the sibling chain yanking, "- however, no, Madam Patch. We were not ousted by the Aerie. Instead..."

He trails off, grinding his beak in a familiar manner. "... I will need promise that you will not tell her, as I should be the bearer of such news to her. However..." There's a long pause. "... a landslide has decimated over half the Aerie."

"I insist that you join me," Verna pans her beaming back to Aura, " especially after all the effort on my behalf." Her voice is also low so as not to intrude upon the others.

The well-wishes from Zanzimar do draw her attention back to he and the others, though the rest of his words cause her brightened countenance to fall abruptly to neutral. Then past this to concern. "Does your family or community require any aid?"

Telamon's eyes widen. "I see," he says with a much more somber tone. "I beg your pardon, Zanzimar, and I ask you to accept my condolences in this matter. I must assume from your words that at least some of your family were lost." It's not a question. "I can also see why you might wish to relocate. Sometimes it is better to start a new nest in the wake of such a tragedy."

He takes a deep breath, flicking his eyes to Patch and Lana. "Patch, do you know where Slix is off to today? I think... this does require her personal attention."

Patch loses her amusement, suddenly sobering at the news. Her demeanor changes, her pets to Pothy stopped as she turns her clipboard over for the moment. "No, that is a fair enough request of you. She needs to hear about this from family." she agrees, willing to pass on the message, a softer smile offered. "And like Mourner Verna. You itty-bitty-Slixy has left us with a large and lasting impression. If your family is in need, we're friends enough to offer aid."

Telamon's words get a wince, and Patch will not retread them, but she also awaits an answer. "How bad was it?" being all she can think to add.

"I don't know where she is today, but I do know a few places she might be. Slixvah roams, and doesn't keep an room unless she must." Patch admits to Telamon. "Finding her would be hard. The correct course would be to just 'let it happen'." whatever that means.

Auranar's hand flies to her mouth, the thought of that tragedy fills her with horror and she looks at the man who is Slixvah's brother and clutches at her basket. "That's terrible. Yes, if you need anything; please let us know. We're the sort that help one another around here." She didn't really know Slixvah very much, but she knew what it was like to lose family.

The offers of aid are met with a raised hand to halt them. "I deeply appreciate the offer for assistance. However, it is a far journey from here; the Aerie is in the Sky Curtains, and our dealings with the Khazad has garnered enough reputation that they have given the Aerie full support in relocation and aid."

He carefully surveys each and every soul speaking with him. His throat bobs. "... thank you. Perhaps when we... arrive, some aid in knowing the landscape would assist. The Elders in the Aerie here will help, but Slixvah's actions at home might have gotten around the other Aeries. So... unknown animosity."

The question of family lost is answered with an even, "Luck be it that we did not lose any family. A non-insignificant number of us have been severely injured. There are some lives lost in other families. Losing flight is nothing compared to loss of life. Grieve for them instead."

Zanzimar fidgets with a fletching on an arrow nearby.

Cor'lana's lips remain in a fine line for a moment as this terrible news is said aloud. "I am sorry for the lives lost and the injuries incurred," she says. "How many of you are arriving here to Alexandria, if I might ask?"

Telamon makes a face at Patch's assessment. "Yes, that... seems to be part and parcel of Slix's abilities. It is definitely not like 'talent', but it does have its own... peculiarities." He sighs at Zanzimar. "All I can tell you, sir, is that Slix will arrive when it is appropriate and needed. Things just seem to work out that way in her favor."

Telamon steps back, and puts his arm around Cor'lana's shoulders, comforting as needed. He nods at her question, as it's a good one.

"Fifteen in the brood. So, fourteen to make the journey." Patch says, grinning to Cor'lana now that she knows the news isn't as dire. "But I suspect more than the family is coming?" she asks, casting a glance after Telamon. "Well, if there isn't a new one in the lot."

"Animosity? Screw that." Patch says, tone even when regarding this topic to Zanzimar. "Whatever her actions there, she's known as honorable and decent here. I don't know much about the politics, but it sounds like excuses to pick at the talented to me."

Zanzimar is about to answer the question, but Patch beats him to the punch. He watches the mottled elf for a moment overlong, picking apart the possibilities and relations to having such information. "There is no new siblings, no, mother was clear on that after how difficult Baby Bani was," he mentions, confirming there is indeed, fifteen in the family.

His brows furrow at Patch's dismissal. "While her actions in the city may show her favor here, the Aeries work differently. What is spoken on the wind carries through time. The Elders at home did not like her methods. You, Madam Patch, as well as Madam Auranar here must know such things take a long, long while to leave the decades of tales."

A look to Telamon. "Whatever it is she does, it does have its own peculiarities. She is the odd one out, but nevertheless, she's still ours."

A relieved sigh escapes him, the olive egalrin getting to his feet and picking his quiver up. "However, I do appreciate your offers of aid and sympathy. It is well received, I thank you."

There's a thoughtful look on Cor'lana's face--more accurately, in her eyes, as she maintains a more neutral expression on her mouth. "I know a bit about elders who disfavor some," she says. "Of a sorts. It is up to the ones that they spurn to shine brighter than ever despite them. Slixvah has done just that here, just as many who have come here to seek their fortune have done."

Finally, she smiles lightly. "There are more than a few in this room who know something about that, too. Now, anything else we can answer for you?"

"Indeed," Telamon opines. "Sometimes the life we lead isn't easy, but it's better to shine in our own way than to cleave to another's expectations. Even those of us who've had relatively sedate family upbringings understand that at some point, the fledgling must leave the nest and make its own flights."

He brings his hands together, steepling his fingers. "Sir, while I cannot simply summon Slixvah out of thin air for you, I can make inquiries. Is there a place you may be staying at that I might send word to you, if the time comes?"

"I am just Patch, but since you're family of Slixvah, you can call me Sio or Siofra." Patch offers in substitute for the madam comments, sighing at Zanzimar's words. "You'd not find one with a greater disdain for age locked tradition than I, Mr. Umnesi." Patch says, shrugging as she goes back to finishing her paperwork. "My sister speaks true about what she knows of. Slixvah is learning to fly, and did so when there were storms."

To Telamon's inquiry, Patch nods. "It would help to have a place to send her to if she's found. I agree." pointing to the half-elf with a grin. "Likely she'll pop up soon enough."

"I'm in agreement with Patch." Auranar offers quietly. "Though I do understand that elders can have a difficult time in letting go of things once they've set their minds to it... I am a firm believer that being set in ones ways to such an extent is unhealthy." She smiles more gently at Slixvah's brother. "In any case, once the arie arrives, I would be happy to help in whatever way I can."

Verna reflexively slips an arm around Auranar as further details of events are provided. She is silent for the majority, offering unspoken prayer for those departed. Her fiancee's statement of belief prompts a brief twitch of tension, but it just as quickly fades. Verna nods in affirmation. "We would aid however we might."

Zanzimar clips the quiver around his waist, the bolas on his chest quietly clacking together in the process. "Alas, you all speak true. And such is the strife between the young and the old within the Aeries. It is why Slixy left. I do not have any more questions, Madam Lupecyll-Alton. Thank you."

He shifts to Patch. "Very well, Siofra. I do look forward to learning what she has done that makes you all speak so highly of her. As well as... not looking forward to it." He squints at that. Must be a brotherly sense about his sister's typical antics.

The green ranger scoops up his bow, lifting up a pelt and sliding it into a sheathe behind him, along with the papers from the clipboard. "Perhaps aid be rendered upon arrival. I will let them know. Thank you. Truly."

"In regards to inquiring about her, if you run into her, tell her ...-" he rubs his face, green feathers floofing slightly. A steeling breath. "- tell her Brother Zanzi ain't playin' no mo' and she betta' git her feathered ass down ta the Fernwood right quick."

Cor'lana... actually has to suppress a giggle, but she does grin very, very widely. "Okay, yeah, you're Slixvah's brother," she says. "Please, don't feel the need to speak a certain way. People around here appreciate those who speak truly to themselves."

She turns to Telamon with a grin. "Well, darling, shall we head home? We do have that cake Grandfather dropped off to--"

"CAKE," Pothy squawks, and he returns to Cor'lana's shoulder with the flapping of wings.

Telamon nods solemnly to Zanzimar, but his eyes twinkle. "I'll let her know. With any luck, if she doesn't show up there herself, I'll send her your way." He grins. "Won't be the first time I've been called in to help with family. Probably won't be the last."

He nods to Lana. "I think we should make our way there, yes. The weather will be turning sour soon, and I don't feel much like hiking through snowdrifts. Flying in it's not much better."

"While I might convey the importance, I don't promise to pass along the threat." Patch's lips forming a thin line. "I'd ask you think of listening to her before passing judgement, Mr. Umnesi." she says, standing after Pothy departs, and taking her paperwork back towards the front desk now that it's done. "Her work is more important than you know, and while you have your thoughts of how family should work. She's still serving you. Even if you don't see it."

"I've had a very taxing day, and had to be poked, probed, and prodded... so excuse me if I am being short." she says of her reasons for being here, turning to the group. "Now that my matters are done, I'll see if I can't bump into her. She's sure to turn up. Eventually." Patch offers, dipping her head towards those here. "Sorry we couldn't be of more direct help."

Seeing that the gathering is breaking up, Auranar smiles at Verna and takes her hand. "We should be off to lunch also." She nods politely to Slixvah's brother. "A pleasure to meet you, and you Patch." She offers a nod to Patch as well before tugging gently on Verna's hand.

"Fare well, all of you," Verna offers to the others that excuse themselves before turning to take Auranar's hand. As Aura takes her full attention. "We shall." The Mourner is light and readily guided by sylvanori might. That and she has every interest in remaining attached and following.

Zanzimar waves a hand off to Cor'lana. "Your sentiment is appreciated and noted," he says. He eyes Pothy with a perplexed look before slowly nodding to Telamon, eyes not leaving the bird. "I understand. Thank you. And yes, it is to snow soon, make your flights now."

A hand raises to Patch. "Peace, Siofra. While I would have had more harried questions for her, you all speak of caution. Prevailing winds do change, and must be read. But do not apologize, you all have been incredibly helpful."

He adjusts his attire, and makes to step outside after dropping the clipboard off. "Pleasure to make your acquaintances," he caps off. "Ceiwen bless your skies."

With that, he steps out, wings unfurl to a their large span, and he takes off with a large gust of a downdraft.
