It's Kesenday, Aestry 15 18:00:50 1018. The full moon is up. The tide is high and rising. A light rain falls from a grey sky. It's warm and there's a slight wind from the southeast.

A17: Airstation Alexandria

As this rainy, muggy day begins to ease toward evening, the hustle and bustle of the Air Station is just as busy as ever. A ship has just finished disembarking, and travelers with their luggage are milling about, trying to connect with those who have come to fetch them. A variety of vendors in the area are doing a booming trade at the moment, especially those selling food.

Sitting on a calm griffon of the main way toward the city's mountain gate is a Sylvanori archer, silently watching the crowd.

Myaris comes off one of the ships. She doesn't have any bags or anything. Her hood is up but back enough that her grey face and silver hair can be seen. She seems to be approaching near to where the Sylvanori is sitting.

Ga'Elian watches as Myaris draws nearer. He dismounts, stows his 64-inch bow inside the 20-inch quiver on his back, and says to his griffon, "That's right, Erithamiel, nice and easy," patting the beast gently on the neck. <sildanyari>

Myaris turns and looks at him and dips her head and speaks in Sildanyari, "A beautiful companion." she offers, her robes do have symbols of Eluna on them along with other arcane symbols in draconic too.

Ga'Elian smiles at Myaris. "Thanks, I think he's pretty spiffy, too. I'm Ga'Elian, and I see you bear some of the Silver Huntress's symbols. May She guide your dreams." <sil again, and henceforth>

Myaris nods her head, "Yes, I am Myaris Blackclaw." she says and does push her hood back, showing her full Mul'niessa heritage. "May she guide yours as well." she smiles.

As Myaris uncovers her features, Ga'Elian clearly notices them, but does not look disturbed by them. He says, "Out there," gesturing beyond the City, "I would be very cautious about any encounter with an unknown Mul'niessa, but this city seems to be a haven of sorts for those of your people who reject the Dark Lady. It still takes a bit of getting used to. In fact, a great many things here do."

Myaris nods her head, "The Silver Huntress called to me in my youth, turned me from the Dark Lady, and I fled my home. I lived with a group of your people, but yes, even though there are a lot of us here, we still don't get the best reception." she shakes her head a bit.

The griffon ustters a quiet squawk, but mingled with a deep growl, like that of a young lion. At this, Ga'Elian looks back at him and sees what appears to be robotic rat scuttle in front of his companion, who reaches out with its right talon. Just as Ga'Elian says, "Erithamiel, Down!" the griffon's claw closes around the object, then just as quickly, the thing vanishes in a golden haze. Immediately, the griffon looks frightened and rears up on its leonine haunches, extending its wings to their full 25 foot span, and lets loose with a screech that draws looks from throughout the whole port.

Myaris giggles a little, "Have to watch out for those, he ok?" she asks looking at the griffon.

Ga'Elian tries to calm the grivvon down with only marginal success. "Whoa there, boy. It won't do anything to you, but best not to go grabbing creatures of artifice." He looks at Myaris and says, "Yeah, I'm sure he'll be fine. But instinct takes over, and he's really not much smarter than an average horse or dog."
