Brief Bio

Svarshan comes from Am'shere. He spent time under the tutelage of an upright, Myrrish noblewoman, Madrienne Mandara and her niece Ganesa for a number of years until they parted ways. While friends, their unequal social footing--and the natural difference between Myrrish customs and Am'shere ones--ensured the divide would eventually happen. The results have taken him a while to sort out, while at the same time he attempts to figure out what the hell it means to be a sith'makar. And a paladin. Both.

During recent events and the slow-burning chaos of Myrddion, the Mandaras have fared moderately well. The cottage outside of Alexandria where Madrienne resided is no more--it fell to a marauding band of demons, and Madrienne as well. Ganesa escaped--and in the meantime is off in the protection of relatives on Myrrish land. The death would have been of wider note without the chaos surrounding recent events. As it is--news still trickles in, and Madrienne's death won't be widely known for some time.

On the heels of it, Svarshan found himself changing--the sith'makars' blood Awakened, and he's begun to learn a few things about himself, his people, and his nation. As he delves deeper into what it means to be a sith'makar, he seeks harmony between the tempers, primitive spiritualism of his race, and the teachings of the Church. Though the two appear to him incompatible, he's found harmony in parts, and a deeper appreciation for the mysteries of Am'shere.

Also, someone recently issued a number of plushies to give to orphans. These say in a highly Myrrish voice: "I like to chomp demons!" and are the latest in the line of a never-ending battle.

He often speaks sloooowly because he thinks in draconic, first. It is a more aggressive language with its own history, structure, and way of speaking. Much of his communication is nonverbal. This is to signal the difference in the sith'makar's use of body language versus the blander common (blander because it has to accommodate a great mix of races and so will be more 'neutral'), and the struggle to find the right words in common that will carry a similar 'emphasis' or 'feel.' His words are less literal than emotive. :D

Srassha

Srassha is a Jungle Princess. She is the prettiest and fiercest thing in the jungle. This was the inspiration for Srassha. And this is maybe a picture of her. And the thumbnail is an image of her decked out in all her pretties--for some softskin Temple occasion.
