  • Summary: Mithralla Merchandise is undergoing some unexpected cleaning by it's Master, Mikilos, when he is joined by Patch, a woman of his acquaintance who finds the condition of the shop warrants some inquiry. Meanwhile, Braelnoir, Cryosanthia and Lily are on their way to that selfsame location, with the Korite trying to explain the battle with the Wight Worms as she and Lily merrily munch on delicious smoked meats, while Cryosanthia examines certain noteworthy details of the story. As Duo are joined by Trio, pleasantries and introductions are exchanged, thought Patch's commentary about a familiar dragon captures Cryosanthia's attention, but her intent is to get through one story locked in before trying to parse another, albeit with a brief segway about their recent deep dive into the annals of the Crimson Pen. After a brief discussion about Lily's knack for traps, and Mikilos's gracious assent, the kobold gleefully scurries down the hall for materials to play with. They speak of the TaRrAcE, and its busier days, as well as Mictlan with some curiosity about Seldan and Zeke, before the conversation is reclaimed by the monolithing Wight Worms. Brae's grudging commentary on Cryosanthia's self recriminations prompt a spot of study and boasting, while talk of pipe organs and engineering cue a precautionary urge to see what the unusually quiet Lily has gotten into...

Here, a large wooden structure has been built. Its somewhat eccentric yet elegant design suggests its owner may be of the arcane persuasion. To the side of the main structure is a small corral to for horses or wagons. Before the central building, a massive sword emerges from the earth. A sign upon it reads: "MITHRALA MERCHANDISE."

Inside is a small seating area with several comfortable chairs. To the back, an unobtrusive but businesslike sales counter, and two large signs. One asks patrons to please wait here and not disrupt those inside the lab. The other offers a lab rental at a very reasonable rate.

To the left and right are a large set of doors. The doors on the right lead to a large room which takes up most of the building. Several long tables are scattered about, many with small tool racks. A small forge sits off to the side. Unlike the average workshop, maps of celestial bodies and guides to the elemental planes line the walls. Large frameworks of brass, silver, and crystal occupy space between the tables. A large shelf dominates the far wall, the containers upon it sporting such labels as "wyvern bile," "sulfur," "tiger's tears," and other exotic items. A glass-covered hole in the roof, set with mirrors, offers direct sunlight, or moonlight, to shine upon various projects.

The doors to the left lead towards the direction of the mountains and what is reported to be a sildanyari-style ball room. Wizards.

During regular store hours, a young Llyranesi man, Belhan Mithralla, keeps an eye on the shop and the lab. When not cleaning or helping a customer, he can usually be found reading some book from the library.

Mikilos mutters absently to himself, thin streams of water flowing across the floor of the shop and out the door. A number of books sit on the counter, there pages magically faned out so each page has a bit of space. For drying. Seems the pile of books got wet, and are now being tended.

The odd sight of water flowing out from within the shop causes Patch to stop and take notice. She's careful as she peers in the open door, dull-green eyes seeking a familiar face. "Miki, is everything okay?" she calls, lightly stepping in with a light splash from steps and booth.

"What happened in here?" The bard asks, a hand rising to undo a button at the top of her coat. "Do you need some help?" eyes taking in the wet tomes, and ears twitching after she catches that he's muttering.

Mikilos glances up from his efforts and sighs, but smiles. "I'm fine, thank you for offering. Using some cooling magics to fight the heat, got distracted with another project, neglected to consider condensation, and came back to find my books in a puddle. But, it doesn't appear more than the covers got wet, I don't think any real damage was done. I hope." The wizard sighs again and runs a hand through his hair. "Anyway, what brings you by? How may I be of service?"

Down the road apiece, a trio of souls make their way toward the splendorous shop whilst it seems to be undergoing some form of cleanup.

Whilst gnawing the smoked drumstick of some comparatively large avian, perhaps a wild turkey with roid rage, the second smallest, an Acanian woman with mercurial hair is speaking the the large, and smaller others, the latter likely inhaling rabbit meat on skewers.

"So" Brae is saying as they enter earshot, "Halani asks if'n I trust'er an touches my arm whilst I'm towerin' over her, so I says, 'Well, yeah, sure-!' and then, suddenly...."

She fishishes for suitable phrasings for a moment, waving the drumstick in circles that attract the eye of the youngest of their troupe, "We's in each other's heads!"

wag-wag, "S'a damned peculiar feelin, 'specially when I let m'rage out, but It's damned effective!"

"Like a 'Sift Thoughts' spell?" The tallest, a white-scaled sith'makar woman speculates. She is eating carefully, her drumstick so far smearing only her white glove. The rest of her dashing ensemble remains pristine. Her snout is of course, rather gory with sauce, predatory teeth do not easily lend themselves to dainty nibbles. "Or like the Mistake? Or that dream I told you about with the gnome?"

"Backssstabbs." The smaller, a pink-scaled lizard folk of some-sort is not making any effort to keep herself neat, and has barbeque sauce on both hands, her face, throat and front. She points, "Look! Mikssoss leakings."

"Well, it's not a flood." Her mother says, reaching the door and looking in. Her gaze shifts from Mikilos to his customer. "Hello."

Patch had been standing near the counter, but at the sounds of voices Patch looks up from her dealing with Mikilos. A smile is flashed, stepping away as she bids them in. "Oh, you have 'business' business today." she says to Mikilos, offering a small smile. "I will share tales of dragon, and fish another time."

"Peace be on your nest, Makari. And child?" A quizzical glance shot to the two Sith-Makar, and the lingering after the third person that walks with them. "Hello."

Mikilos grins as the trio arrives, nodding to each in turn. "Greetings, Little Fang and companions. Patch, I believe I told you a little of Cryosanthia's performances at the TaRaCe?" He blinks, mind processing what was said. "Wait, dragon? What dragon?"

"I'unno, never had that one cast on me, before." Brae returns with a shrug, then takes a new bite of her hapless bird, swallows, "It's like... we both knew what the other'v us is thinkin', right? An we both sorta heard our thoughts on options, target selection, that sorta thing."

A sigh, then, "Th'rage.... that puts a lotta noise in there, but I think it balanced out against what's going on in her head, cuz we's taking stuff down'n a damned flash."

As Lily points out Mikilos is 'leaking' she half chokes on her bite and spends a moment trying not to gag or inhale her spicy meat.

At least until she gets it clear and sputters a few coughs worth of laughter.

She smirks impishly up to the little one, poking her tongue out playfully a moment, then follows Cryo through the doorway, "Yo, Miki, ya'lright'n here, luv?" she calls.

She glances between the mage and his lady caller for a moment, then, "Dragon?"

"Fish? Dragon? This one would hear that story! Has Tanithariairisixchel returned?" Cryo fixes her saphire eyes on Patch, "A new friend of Mikilos? Ah, forgive my speculation, this one has been buried in the Crimson Pen for weeks."

"For academic purposes. Seriously."

Beside her, the smaller lizard-girl nods, chewing away at her bone and leaving deep gouges. She splashes over to stand beside Mikilos, she's grown, up to his waist. She taps him with the bone. "Sserriouss purpossess."

"As soon as Brae finishes. I want to know more about the rage sharing. I might want to try it."

"Oh yes, it has taught me many things about the seductress Cor'lana." Patch muses of the Crimson Pen to Cryosanthia, nodding her head to that other guess. "Yes, Tanithariairisixchel it was. Her antics were... enough to cause trouble in the market." the bard admits, pausing a moment to regard Cryosanthia, eye flicking over white-scale. "Stopped a downpour, stole fish, and got Telamon in a bit of trouble. All making it a lovely day." musing with a wave of hand.

"Apologies. I am, Patch. Student of many things, but mostly song." the Dawn Elf introducing herself to the trio, a smile lingering on the small one as they cross to Mikilos in their play. "I hear you are a lady of dance, Cryosanthia. Your name does proceed you."

To Braelnoir, Patch offers a dip of her head. "A pleasure to meet friends of Miki's."

Mikilos looks quizically at Brae, intrested himself, but kneels down to offer the pink-scale a hug. "Most serious, I'm sure. How are you Lily? Been keeping Cryo out of trouble?" He nods to Patch, frowning mildly. "Tanithariairisixchel's appearance concerns me. I believe she means well, but seldom shows up unless is something serious lurking." He considers. "Then again, seems is always something or another lurking, so may be coincidence."

The silver tressed human looks across her shoulder to Cryo as she indicates a desire to share thoughts, particularly her more draconian ones, but shrugs, "A'ight, but give't an hour after ya done eatin', don't wanna get cramps." she quips.

She looks to the lady introducing herself, first, then, "Patch, huh? Figger with a handle like that, ya's a sawbones'r the like, luvvie." She steps in closer, "I'm Braelnoir, nice t'meetcha!"

Mikilos's observations draw her attention in turn and she nods, "Could be at'hat, luv, but, it's prolly connected. Smoke 'fore the fire, that kinda thing."

Little Fang pokes Mikilos with the gnawed bone again. "Yesss." She switches to Draconic, "Ssassa keepss trying to leave the nesst and leave me to watch the nesstling. I watch better than sshe does. She promissed me I could see the ssity and your library again, and the worksshopss. I've made trapss." <draconic>

Cryo smiles, having finished her meal and not sure what to do with the bone and having decided that smearing sauce is out. "Lily has been a great help, and this one needed a break too, it has been very, very routine in Mictlan and not all that pleasant of one."

Facing Patch she says, "That's a very short name for a Sildanyari. Mikilos can fish up sunken ships with his. Regarding Tanith, this one has stories but would not colour your impression. She is a lovely and powerful being, greater than most realize."

"Anyhow Mikilos, I think it's more like you say, that the crisis is on-going, and she randomly makes appearances during it."

"On the lighter note, this one dances and sings. It's one of my rare pleasures and part of my Speaker training. I was in a Golem Band too." She sighs, her breath visible as a small cloud in front of her nose, "This one hasn't performed at the TarRaCe since Sabina sold her share.

"Between the mad-piper controlling wights, and Zalgiman.... the city has its hands full." Patch observes a tad dryly to Mikilos, sighing. "The wolves are my priority for the moment, but that's because one of the totems was stolen from the Temple of Daeus. You are very well right it might be some 'sign'."

"Patch is what I have called myself many a year, but I don't think Siofra sounds much better." Patch reasons, flashing Braelnoir a smile as a hand rising to motion at the birth-mark upon her face. "Between my mother naming me changeling, Patch seems far more tame."

Cryosanthia earns Patch's attention with her words, nodding. "Irshya had told me she lost partners, but that it once was a place of dance, merriment and music." the woman's words low, looking back to the smaller Makari with a grin. "Traps? Did they say traps?!" laughing suddenly as the draconic words send her ears to twitching. "Like, for game?"

Mikilos nods seriously to Lily. "Clever traps, I'm certain. There are a few projects being worked on in the lab, so you'll need to be such not to disrupt those, but there are several empty workbenches you can pick from." He turns focus to Patch. "Little Fang is quite the adept builder, and has made several traps out of a range of materials. Mostly practice, but some have been perfectly effective." He considers a moment, looking to Cryo. "Though I don't think has been opportunity to test them on a serious invasion?"

"She's gotta gift." Brae notes with a wink, then nods toward the little one as she takes another bite from her drumstick.

She glances between Cryo and Mikilos for a moment or two as she chews, briefly considering she and Cryo's little 'dance' in the TaRrAcE, but swallows and rejoins the now on a different track, "Siofra's got a ring to't, lotta folk'n the old life had handles like 'Whistler' an 'Shiv' s'all I meant."

"Okayss!" Lily grins widely up at Mikilos, nodding and then darting off deeper into the building. The bone went with her.

Cryo watches her daughter depart until she turns a corner in the corridor, "Zalgiman, this one hasn't heard of him or her, and only read about the wolves in the Tribune. Hmm." She purses her lips, "Tanith may be an avatar of Daeus. This one saw her realm once... but... my mind could not contain it." She rubs at a horn. "Traps, like... traps. Lily built one with tripwires and Kor's crossbow, that would swing it around towards the wire that was tripped and fire. To catch her Auntie, well anyone, that teleports. Also a little suit for a fish to walk around in. Right, this one has to buy more parts."

"Irshya is good folk, and yes, the TarRaCe was busier. The city shut down the Temple district last year, and many faithful went there, because it had statues for Ceinara, Rada and Tarien. It was standing room only until the Inquisitors started showing up."

"No test of Mictlan's defenses Mikilos. Although this one isn't sure how one defends from undead purple worms, they can tunnel through bedrock. Even if we are pulling it up magically it's impossible to fully secure."

The whitescale smiles again, "Patch is a good name, just, unexpected, as Brae put it, used to other sorts."

The words of Braelnoir and Cryo cause the Bard to blush, mouth opening to speak, but no sound passes her lips. No, she has to rethink her words, looking away. "Thank you, both. Not many.... say that." her pierced ear flicking, as she shakes off the compliment's stunning effect with a quick toss of shoulders and limbs.

"Mictlan. So you know Seldan, and his brother Zeke? I have not been, but I have heard of it." A curious tone coming from the bard as she looks again between the three. "Seldan knows of Zalgiman, but... his worries are of other things these days."

"At least some try to prepare, and do what they can. It is good to busy idle hands." Patch looking after the pink Sith-Makar until she's near out of sight. "I am impressed one so small knowing a skill so well."

Mikilos blinks at Cryo a few times. "...undead purple worms, you say? Yes, I can see where that would be a challenge. Can think of a few defenses that would slow one down, if not outright stop them, but such spells are not casually cast or maintained. A wall of lava, for example. Quite the barrier, but not the sort of thing you typically want in your home." He frowns thoughtfully. "A layer on underground sunstones could ward off undead, but would have to bury it deep or would wreck havoc with the agricultural root system... and be expensive as heck over a large area."

"Big, big bastards." Brae affirms toward Mikilos, "Bigger'n a siege tower fer sure, an' that's with half the thing's ass still inna ground!"

She glances to her sister, then, "I's tellin'em about that scrap when we's headed up this way.

She shrugs, "Too bad we cain't set up'n underground moat an' just have some holy rollers bless th'water."

Her knowledge of combat and siegecraft only avail her so many ideas of that sort of threat, but nowhere near such a scope.

Patch's query about Seldan and Zeke get a bland, "We met." before the woman busies herself with her meal anew.

"They are known to this one, yes." Cryo answers, the temperature dropping around her, as cool as the sudden tone in her voice. Her tailtip twitches, back and forth. "Seldan is the premier Holy Warrior of his Goddess, and much set upon by fate. We've fought, as allies and otherwise. To oppose him is to lose, as his goddess works in mysterious ways."

She claps her hands together, keeping them low against her front, maintaining a stillness, "Zeke has suffered greatly because of this one and it is best I maintain distance to avoid drawing him into further danger. Quite a point about that was made by heads wiser than my own. So I do."

Her head turns, she stares off at the books on the walls. Waiting, as the cold snap passes. She changes topics, "The layer of sunstones is a neat idea, as is a moat of lava or water, but neither could be deep enough to prevent them burrowing under without making Mictlan float."

"Lily and I spent a lot of time in goblintown, with goblins, and a few gnomes, and she has a knack. She's had a lot of bad experiences, and being able to make things, have control over them, the creativity, is good for her. It's the best way I've found to steer her bad instincts around to something productive." The whitescale laughs, "this one finally got her to stop shoplifting simply to force me to return to the shop with her."

"I apparently have a habit of tugging the threads and knots that hurt some most. Apologies." The Dawn Elf says in a somber tone. "I didn't know. I couldn't of." a sigh breaking her lips. "I didn't mean to dredge up such things, and I will pry no further. This one is sorry. You have my apology."

Yes, that small Elf grows quiet, slinking back to the counter, and resting on it with an elbow. "I am a student, I don't have such thoughts on such things. I hear you talk of worms, and... that is beyond me." shifting lightly on her feet. "Your Lilly sounds like a delight. She's good to travel and be out. A mind needs be engaged and entertained."

Mikilos snorts softly and laughs. "Shoplifting as an excuse to return to a store. I hadn't heard of that, and yet somehow I'm not surprised. Thinking outside the box, is usually called."

"'Wiser' m'pert, mammal ass." Brae grumbles under her breath with a sidelong look to Cryosanthia. There might have to be a nice friendly row to get all that venom out of her sister's head, if she has to beat it out of her.

She finds her attention draw to the new deprecations of their new acquaintance and she hisses a half whistle between her teeth, "'ey, now. Ain't no call fer none a'that, luvvie. Ya's askin' a question without knowing the whos and whyfors o'folk's all."

The drumstick lowers to her side, rather than hovering at the ready as it has for most of her presence, here, then, "Helluva thing ta try an' figger around something well outside her experience, it is, but even when someone comes up with a tactic that works, sometimes it ain't in'm ta write it down or pass along."

Cryo smiles at Mikilos, a casual one where her teeth show more than usual, she's among friends. She keeps her nose dipped, so they're not entirely obvious. "Lily had a rather... cavalier attitude towards property and this one had to teach her she couldn't simply take something because she liked it."

"This often necessitated returning to the store, to return the item, and an apology, and another purchase to soothe hurt mercantile feelings... and somewhere in there she learned I'd buy her things if she stole from the right store."

The lizard woman's tail curls slowly from side to side behind her, "she had to learn, as this one did, that there are people beyond the family tribe and scales. Fortunately it sunk in. Anyhow, the artifice merchants love her, as this one barely understands the devices and they can conspire with her to convince me she needs a truckload of things."

"So her conspiracy continues, only differently." Cryo laughs, "I might need another haversack for her portable workshop. It is taking over mine."

Her wry smile is turned towards Brae, "Oh, don't get me commenting on your pert mammal ass. I've been reading too much Crimson Pen! Actually on that note, Mikilos, have you noticed anything unusual in recent stories, if you've been keeping up. Or something unexpected, when Lady Sandiel dropped off a deluxe edition set you never ordered."

"And don't worry about it Patch. It's..." Cryo shrugs, temporarily at a loss, finally drawing a claw-tip along one of her more prominent pale markings, "not all my scars are on the outside, and that's one of them."

"Lady Sandiel." Patch says with a smirk coming back on her lips. "Yeah, it figures that woman would deal in Crimson Pen." stifling a laugh with a tight-lipped smirk.

"I have made others mad, and I did not wish to make that mistake here." Patch notes, shrugging as she looks between the three once again. "Pert mammal ass.... Not as smooth as the autumn Dragoon, but those words amuse me." having to lean, and behold this 'pert mamalness' She herself has minute, and small curves, being a twig of an elf. "All be damned, if she'd flexed we might could bounce a coin off it." a coy tease, the bard trying to find a stride and upbeat pace once her dour spell had passed.

Mikilos snorts again, and smiles. "I'm no Artificer, but I do understand most of the core principles. If have suspicions, can always ask, I'm happy to help as best I can. And no, I've not been keeping up with the more recent editions. Too many character arcs based on people and events I don't know. Something of interest, I take it?" He blinks, looking to Cryo. "Reminds me, I recently started trying to construct my own pipe organ. Progress has been... slow." He looks to Patch. "...I understand the term, but all I can think is a coin bouncing off bone."

"Wait till she's old enough fer me t'teach her my kinda engineerin'." Brae remarks with a wicked grin.

It was a point of concession that siegecraft would wait for the little one's maturity manifest more fully, but one that the Korite likes to dangle in the air now and then, out of her niece's earshot of course.

"Everyone meets Sandy, it seems." she remarks as the conversation veers into new pastures, "Yeah, we's going through some fer.... research, though, damn none o'those guys know how war works, I swear!"

With the explorative leanings(literally) of the elf, she smirks, "Hell, luvvie, I've had knives skate off when I get really goin."

There's a blink Mikilos' way, as he muses about organs of a singular design and, "What gotcha lookin' inta that? I ain't sure I got th'ear fer the fine tunin', but the gross mechanics I think I could probly help ya with."

"Well..." The whitescale winks, and with that gesture her general lack of blinking stands out. She might not have done so the entire time. Her voice takes on low, teasing tones, "... there are ways to compensate."

Cryo concentrates, and there's a slight shifting of her clothing, her blouse billowing in a way that echoes Braelnoir's mammalian curves and changing her whole profile. "This one is more of a Winter Dragon," she slaps her hands on her hips, rocking her hefty reptile rump. "Smooth as ice, perhaps."

Another moment of staring, and the odd sartorial illusion vanishes, "I only break that out for diplomatic occasions, usually impressionable Princelines."

"We should sit down then, Mikilos, with Lily and get her to explain things, and if you understand her, you can explain it to me." There's another of her grins, "this one still wants to hijack the Phalanx Falcis, but that's another pipe dream. Anyhow, I don't know what we're looking for in the Crimson Pen, but I'll know it when I see it. Right now, it's just 'something odd'. Why are you making a Pipe Organ?"

"Knives do bounce off her, that's true."

"I'd have to see that some time. The knife thing, and... the organ." Patch muses, shaking her head, and pushing herself off the counter. "My business was gossip today, but you all have true things to discuss." she notes, looking to the group and offering a short-nod. "I have other matters to attend, mostly getting my hurdy back form Robert's shop. He was looking at her gears to see why she was sticking." excusing herself with a wink to Mikilos. "I'd help, but my skills lay in instrument with strings and keys. Apologies, friend."

"It was good to meet you both, and see the little one." Patch offers, heading out the door, and out into the drying street.

Mikilos shrugs to Braelnoir. "Was thinking of steriotypes for rich nobels and realized I don't snootily play an instrament and I don't know how to build a harpsicord. A pipe organ seems properly ornate and over the top, and pressing keys isn't as hard as learning to pull a bow across strings properly." He nods to Patch, waving as she heads out. "Thanks for stopping by."

Cryosanthia laughs, "Yes. This one can see you, in your long robes, with tall candles throwing great shadows, sitting majestically at a pipe organ and playing it so loud it shakes the mountains, while the Wee Queen and her court frolics. It's entirely appropriate, it suits you!"

Mikilos nods seriously to Cryo. "-Floating- candles. Hadn't thought of the Wee Queen, but she might be amused. I can actually play. Not particularly well, but can pick out a reasonable turn on the organ at the Fernwood."

"If you play, this one will be there with bells on, and I'll dance." Cryosanthia grins. She bows to Patch, "It was lovely meeting you, and hope to perform with you sometime. I'd love to see your Hurdy Gurdy."

She huffs an exhale, "However, it has been some time with my little one unsupervised in a magical lab, it is time to check on her."

"And wine, lots of wine, to go with the floating candles."

Braelnoir waves after as Patch heads off, "Nice meetin' ya, luvvie, stay strong!" she calls, leaning out the door with a wave, then turns back in time for Mikilos and Cryo to have their exchange.

A snerk, then, "A'ight, luv, I'll buy that." she remarks, then, "Mebbe I'n drop by tomorrow'r so an' we can see about sussin' somethin' out.... plus... there's a couple things I's hopin t'ask ya about as yer th'most schooled wizard I know."

Her wolflike eyes turn toward the hallway her errant niece vanished down and she notes with a nod thattaway, "It's been awful quiet down that way, we should probly go see what she's up to."

Dramatis Personae

Mikilos, Tall male dawn elf, rosey blonde and handsome.
Mikilos is a slender male Dawn Elf, freakishly tall by elven standards, standing a full head over the average human. His ivory skin and long blonde hair hold a rosy warmth, as if dappled in spring sunshine, even when such light is not present. His hazel eyes are deep set, and spark with curiousity. His hands are long and nimble, but hold callus and stain from long use in craft.

He is dressed in a simple Grey robe, of a simple cut, unadorned with decoration. It is however a strange, almost painfully Neutral Grey. His waist is defined by a simple leather belt, from which a scroll case hangs upon one side, a well-used scabbard on the other. Both trousers and boots are simple, black, and practical. An occasional cloak guards against the weather or dust. Upon his brow sits a simple circlet of silver, set with a small stone which shifts from blue to violet, depending on the light.

Patch, A blond sildanyari with a port-wine stained face.
A thin, and bony featured Sildanyari is here. Her blond hair is an straight and falls to the mid of her back. Her eyes are like a dulled emerald, a fog of green that often seek about their surroundings. Her face is sharp and angular for her long-lived race, marked with a port-wine stain that starts just below her right eye, and takes up most of the according cheek and neck. It is a birthmark that is a bright red against the rest of her normally pale skin. Her body is thin, and there is little to no shape of muscles, just subtle hints of her femininity and petite curves that are hidden under her clothes.

She wears a jacket of flamboyant red, like a wet candy coated apple, shimmering even when under the sun. It is much like a military tailed-coat, but it carries no sigils of nations or allegiences. If one looks close enough the buttons that close about her bust and waist have little music notes upon their brass heads. The tails of the coat are tailored to hang high near the back of her knees. An undershirt with a frilled neck is worn beneath the otherwise flashy garb. Well fit trousers made of charcoal dyed wool cling to her hips, and are tucked into a pair of sturdy leather boots that are laced high above her ankles.

A simple silver ring pierces this Sildanyari's nose on it's right side, and three matching rings can be seen near the tip of one of her pointed ears (Also right).

Braelnoir, A tall, pale Acanian woman, branded in silver.
A woman with almost unblemished, sunkissed skin, standing most of six feet, she's probably Acanian, though broad enough of shoulder that she's probably more than a little Aesir as well. Life has cultivated her a solidly muscled physique, tempered to a balance between strength and grace. Silk of spun silver forms a left-parted train from her scalp, bound doubled back on itself into a low ponytail, it still reaches beyond her belt. Her features are fine and even, with stern brows over wolflike amber eyes and a tendency toward a feral grin. Her voice is a smokey tennor, accented to the particulars of Stormgarde. Ruling the knot of muscle of her right arm's shoulder, an emblem of gleaming, pebbled silver renders a howling skull within a heartlike boundry, the only mark upon her skin, aside from a small, triangular chunk missing from her left ear.

A fine, nearly black, breastplate, tempered to an almost iridescent blue violet, is cross strapped at her back, over a fitted corsellet of black leather, while a circlet of similar temper, etched in stern frescoes encircles her brow. Her right hand is clad in a spiked gauntlet of fine, Arvek make, while the left is protected by a half-fingered leather affair with an hourglassed demi gauntlet over that, stamped with the symbol of Kor. Her legs are clad in loose trousers of what could have been sailcloth, dyed black in a way that left various whorls and ripples of smoke grey. Heavy, overknee greaves of shaggy black hide, secured with sigil carved buckles enclose her feet and give her a massier footfall, while an ornate bronze pendant hangs at the hollow of her throat.

Her other accoutrements are manifold and equally diverse. A Khazadi bandolier containing Gods-know-what crosses her torso right-to-left to leave the pouches lining the inward curve of her waist without impeding her sword arm, with a couple larger pack at her back. An Aesir warhammer rides double frogs on her right hip, while a short Alexandria sword rests in a sheath on her left. For all this, thegrimly ornate war scythe she carries is easily the weapon that's seen the most wear and care.

Cryosanthia, A dashingly tall, elegant white-scaled lizard woman.
Cryosanthia is an elegant sith-makar woman in the first year of her second century. She radiates confidence, a deep power from within. Her scales are a brilliant white, highlighted by ones which are the palest of glacial blues. These pale scales trace out the scars she used to bear, her hide is restored. She bears two fantastic patterns of these, one on her chest, the other completely covering her back from crest to tailtip. When the light hits right, one sees the dragon within. Her bearing is intense, her motions minimal grace. Two horns sweep back from her brow. Her eyes are like glittering saphhire gems, and when she blinks her eyelids have the glacial blue to them as well. She carries no weapons, and still keeps a tiny bag close to her heart.

Her clothing is various ensembles. At times she wears a layered robe, a mithril swashbuckling outfit, kilted leather, a loincloth, or nothing. The colours inevitably mirror her own. Brilliant white with shimmering blue highlights, piping and whorls. Snowflakes and dragon-eyes are a common motif.

Cryo has been changed, physically and fundamentally by her experiences. She grew into herself under the Queen of Endless Winter, and struggles to reconnect with herself, her body, and friends she hasn't seen in decades. Alien at times even to the sith-makar, her heritage is written on her scales, along with her spells.
