The room in question seems to have depowered. There you are, though, even though it appears to be a dead end.

There is acidic slime all over the floor, though, and your weapons are still smoking here and there in some cases.

"Wot?" Baz says, flicking his blade. He quickly touches the emblem of Kor bedazzled into his chestplate and murmurs a series of prayers. First a ball of light forms, glowing from his shoulder plate. Then he begins holding out his hand and letting fresh water rain from it, washing off first his own weapon and then any that is offered up.

Tirr glances from one person to the other and motions to the pile of once humanoidslime... "Sooo umm what was that?" She asks curiously andglances aroundthe place now, curiously inspecting everything she can.

Lucy scoops up her rapier and examines it mournfully. The acid has left the already-thin blade pitted and the edge blunted in a few places. When she realizes what Baz is doing she rushes over and holds out her own blade for washing. "Thanks," she murmurs absently and then goes off a few steps to text the blade's strength by holding it in her fingertips and trying to flex it this way and that. "I think I can still use it," she notes aloud, relief obvious in her voice.

Meanwhile, nothing else is happening. The lights that were on the walls are out and, well... there's the only door back the way you came. Fortunately, there are other passages even in this section.

"Right, which way do we go? I gotz turned around in da fight." Baz says, shifting on his feet. His armored form clanking in the near dark, the light on his shoulder armor helping to fight the lack of illumination.

Lucy turns this way and that, to follow the light of her own ioun torch floating in slow circles above her head. "I...well, let's think this through," she suggests. "We're here looking for some lost adventurers. And it looked like they had split up. But if anyone made it this way," she nods towards the remains of the slime monster, "They might have gotten dissolved and we'll never see them again."

There's no signs of them, though, and Besra had to shoot the cylinder for the slime to stat leaking. It's possible they went down one of the other branches you saw on your way here, of course, if not here.

Tirr peers at Lucy, then looks arond the room again curiously... "Soo lets go graba passage and get going.." She says cheerfully, well as cheerful as a 7+ foot tall Sith'makar can sound, even with the brittish accent...

Back the way you cam you go. The blood trail went to the doorway, stopped. Passing by the ruined remnants of the constructs, you now go the other way down the intersection you came across, following it, and you soon begin to find your way towards another set of lights up ahead.

Lucy points furiously at the lights. She seems like she really, really wants to say something...but she knows better than to speak out loud. Drawing another dagger from her seemingly endless supply, she holds by the blade, ready to throw. Then she creeps towards the light...

The big Ork trudges along in the front, hefting his shield and axe up now in the confined quarters of the tunnels. His curved and acid scared blade across his back as he peers left and right. "I need ta remember ta ask for more pay for dez jobz. Right?" He snorts and squints, trying to stay alert for more strangeness.

Tirr follows after everyone else, the tall Sith looking around curiously at the walls and whatnot around her and hoping maybe to find any kinds of clues... Dungeon Delving isnt exactly her thing. Now if this were a good library!!!

Good news, everyone!

You found some of the adventurers. They appear to glued to the wall by some kind of sticky tangle-foot like substance here in this equally large chammber. In the center of the room is /another/ cylnder, though this one is full of /grey/ substance. More broken constructs litter the area... but guess what?

So do some very live ones, turning towards you as you a rrive. Large, metal monstrosities that look like peopole. Heavily armored people.

The substance in the cylinder swirls rapidly.

GAME: NeverSleepin advances the initiative order.

     Round One - Init 21.
It is now Construct 3's turn! Tirrynelth is next!

One of the three construicts pauses a moment. it remains still, but it raises its hands. From its wrists a pair of blades emerge, mere daggers in truth, but they're daggers attached to its wrist. Ig begins to move towards Baz.

GAME: Tirrynelth rolls ranged: (6)+2: 8

Tirr pouts as she misses, the Sith firing a snap shot from her light crossbow and starting to load another bolt... She frowns a bit and mutters "I need more spells..." To her self...

Lucy steps forward smoothly, rapier raised. Then she almost stumbles as she halts at the sight of the damaged blade. Finally remembering why she is carrying her dagger in her other hand, she hurls it at the first construct, watching closely to see how contact with the automatin affects her knife. After a moment's observation she calls out in relief, "Good news everyone! We don't have to worry about our weapons being eaten away this time!"

GAME: Aerilaya rolls 1d20+4: (6)+4: 10

GAME: Aerilaya rolls 1d3+2: (2)+2: 4

Hey, look. This construct now is advancing towards Lucy! It has a dagger in its joint and reaches up to pull it out in a single, smooth motion. It is now holding it and marching towards the gnome.

Aerilaya stays on the wall, most of her body is just covered in thick, sticky stuff that just refuses to budge under most movements. But This stuff does not stop her from seeing and hearing. When she hears something that's not the things that did this to her, her eyes open. "Huh?" She murmurs out, seeing that the rescue has come. She sees that this is her chance, and moves her left arm so that it's pulled free of the sticky mess with a few pulls that almost pull her shoulder out of socket, finally freeing that arm. She has a free arm, but nothing to use it with!

GAME: Baz da Ork rolls 1d6+5+3: (5)+5+3: 13

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d20+8: (3)+8: 11

"Oy, runty!" Baz yells out, and underhanded tosses his axe towards Aerilaya. Trying to get the weapon to her, without killing her. Then he's gripping up his large spiked shield with both hands and swinging himself around like a top. The heavy metal item lashing out into the front of the construct heading towards Lucy. "HAHA! Keep yer eye on the Orky, right?" He bangs on his chest with his right hand as his left tries to get the shield back in line. "Tink ya hard enough? C'mon and play wit me ya gob shite trash piles!"

One of the constructs, this one's fingers elongate into some kind of horrible, spinning set of drills, begins to move towards Tirrynelth.

None of them have noticed Aerilaya's begun to free herself. the others with her, the other adventurerws, are struggling and making screaming sounds, muffled by the resin on them.

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d20+8: (4)+8: 12

A blade from one of the humanoid consturcts comes narrowly, within scant centimters, of slashing out Baz's eyes. Yikes!

GAME: Tirrynelth rolls ranged: (14)+2: 16

GAME: Tirrynelth rolls 1d3: (2): 2

And now Tirry tries something else! She points a finger at the construct as a blue icy ray lances out at the machine! "I feel rather insignificant at this point!!!"

Lucy raises her rapier briefly in salute at the approaching construct. Then she lowers it into the normal guard position. She waits until it gets close enough and then lunges, skewering it through another joint.

With Lucy's dagger in hand and Baz now being a distraction, it turns slowly towards him and jams the dagger into the Oruch's breastplate. Metal on metal grinding sounds emerge but it does not yet break through. Still, that slam looks like it hurt.

Aerilaya reaches out and grabs the battleaxe in both hands. She stares at it for a moment, her eyes widen and mind ventures elsewere as she stares at the axe... But she shakes her head of those thoughts, and moves the axe so that she cuts a small dwarf outline of herself in the goo stuff, and flops herself down onto the ground. She snorts as she stretches for a moment, feeling the blood rush to her limbs once again.

GAME: Baz da Ork rolls 1d6+5+3: (5)+5+3: 13

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d20+8: (17)+8: 25

"Crap." Baz intones as he sees the construct with drill hands start towards Tirrynelth. He snarls and pulls one of the bladed fist weapons from his belt and slashes hard at the construct he has boxed in between himself and Lucy.

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d6+5: (2)+5: 7

Drill-Bot moves towards Tirrynelth, then, marching right towards her. It's drill makes contract with her scales and there's a whoooole lot of blood shortly thereafter. That looks like it hurt. Nasty gash on the Sith-Makar's body.

The other warriors still glued to the walls are screaming and still struggling. They weren't quite able to free themselves the way Aerilaya did.

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d20+8: (14)+8: 22

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d6+5: (1)+5: 6

GAME: Tirrynelth rolls 1d6: (4): 4

Tirr flails limbs, giving out a screach before backing off a bit... She takes a deep breath, arcs of brilliant electricity lacing around her lips and along her teeth before she suddenly exhails, a blast of brilliant bright lighting lances out from the draconid's mouth blasting through the construct... Tirr then frowns and tries, now that she's at range maybe to move closer to the Orc, just in case.

GAME: Lucy rolls weapon3-2: (7)+12+-2: 17

GAME: Lucy rolls 1d4+10: (4)+10: 14

GAME: Aerilaya rolls 1d20+2+2+1: (17)+2+2+1: 22

Lucy points the tip of her weapon at the construct before her, moving it in small circles as she 'aims' at different spots on the enemy's form and watches how it reacts to her. Finally when her rapier is lined up with the creature's forehead she stabs, skewring it briefly and then tugging the sword free before the construct can fall.

GAME: Aerilaya rolls 1d8+2: (8)+2: 10

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d20+8: (15)+8: 23

Turning towards Baz, the blades clash against his armor in a shower of sparks! It's silent but for the whirring of the gears that lay beneath its metal plates.

Now that Aerilaya was free, and did a small stretch, she grips that axe in her hands and sees the Constructs going for those who freed her. She gets a wicked grin, and calls out "Hey drillhands! Got a gift for ya!" And with that, she comes running up to the one attacking Tirry! She goes running, her long, braided hair clinks together at the tips as she breaks into a dead sprint and buries the axe into the back of the construct, before pulling it down and away, giving some space should it turn around.

GAME: Baz da Ork rolls weapon6-1: (3)+8+-1: 10

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d20+8: (10)+8: 18

The heavy spiked shield comes up in time to deflect the construct's attack. Then Baz lashes out with a strike towards the drill bit monstrosity threatening Tirrynelth, but is off balance enough to cleanly miss.

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d6+5: (4)+5: 9

The drills are pressed againt Tirry as it continues to assault her viciously. Scales, flesh, and blood are being torn asunder by them. It's brutal and ugly, but the silent automation -- silent but for the silent whinte of its dirlls -- is not dissuaded from its course.

GAME: Tirrynelth casts Magic Missile. Caster Level: 3 DC: 15

GAME: Tirrynelth rolls 2d4+2: (5)+2: 7

Tirr calls out, jumping away, and yah there's blood, lots of it... She grips the new wound and through gritted teath she unlesahes a pair of missiles at the oncoming construct. "Frigging thing!!!!"

GAME: Lucy rolls acrobatics: (15)+10: 25

GAME: Aerilaya rolls 1d20+2+2+1: (14)+2+2+1: 19

Immediately after Tirrynelth casts her spell, a tiny figure dashes in front of her, skidding to a stop to reveal that it is none other than Lucy. She raises her rapier and faces off with the construct. "Don't worry, we'll keep it away from you!" she says, turning her head only slightly to the side so she doesn't have to take her eyes off of the thing.

GAME: Aerilaya rolls 1d8+2: (1)+2: 3

ANother shower of sparks upon Baz's armor follows. The bladed construct doesn't appear to be too thrilled with its efforts... if a construct can give off any emotions at all.

(It can't.)

It raises it sarms to try again. It'll work one of these times!

GAME: Baz da Ork rolls 2d6: (5): 5

Grasping at the symbol worked into the chestplate of his armor. Baz calls upon the support of Kor, and feels the healing energies pulse outwards from him into those around. He raises his sheild against the next assault of the construct and continues to concentrate on forcing the energy wider to get as many allies as he can.

GAME: NeverSleepin damaged you for -5 points. 44 HP remaining.

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d20+8: (17)+8: 25

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d6+5: (2)+5: 7

Aerilaya winces as she watches the drill construct drill into Tirrynelth, the shortest person here grips the axe again, and swings at it horizontally, trying to cleave it in two, but the axe only goes so deep before she needs to make more space between them as she does not want to be hit by any stray magic shot from Tirry.

Turning now towards Aerilaya after her most recent strike on its back, the drill-bitted Automaton slashes at her with its drill-hands, slicing across her shoulder and down part of her arm and leaving a bleeding gash in its wake.

GAME: Tirrynelth casts Magic Missile. Caster Level: 3 DC: 15

GAME: Tirrynelth rolls 2d4+2: (3)+2: 5

Tirry continues to try and put distance between her self and her attacker, the Sith making a wierd face as her wound closes up, then she smiles and nods at Baz. Next she raises her hand and a pair of small spheres of force zip away from the Sith'makar and smash into the construct. She doesn't appear to be doing much damage, but she's doing -something-. Next she reaches into her pocket and withdraws a wand.

It's still on Baz, y'see, the short sworded one.

It doesn't suceed. Again.

GAME: Baz da Ork rolls 2d6: (7): 7

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d20+8: (18)+8: 26

GAME: NeverSleepin rolls 1d6+5: (3)+5: 8

Once more Baz bats away the attacking construct's blade. His hand remains on the symbol as he continues to intone the request, the prayer, pulling more energy and flowing it out into his allies.

GAME: Tirrynelth rolls 1d4+1: (2)+1: 3

Aerilaya is feeling the stinging in her arm from the fresh wound she got from the attack before, but the dwarf presses on! She picks up the axe with both of her hands and moves to bring it down on the unfocused construct, but the pain in her shoulder flares up and causes her muscles to spasm, throwing off her swing.

Tirr continues to try and put distance between her self and the drill-o-bot. She then raises what appear sto be a small black stick. Another bolt of energy zips away from her and strikes the drill-o bot, dropping it? Tirr pauses and blinks, before looking at the wand and shrugging... "There we go!!!"

GAME: Lucy rolls weapon3: (8)+12: 20

GAME: Aerilaya rolls 1d20+2+2+2: (2)+2+2+2: 8

The cosntruct now turns it attention on Lucy after her most recent assault on its carapace. It lashes out to her to no avail, the nimble gnome able to easily avoid its stilted blows.

Lucy straightens up slightly as the Sith blasts the construct and it falls. Then she rushs over to the third one, approaching it at an angle intended to pin it between herself and the Oruch. She pokes it with her rapier - as usual the blow doesn't have much force behind it but her skill with the blade lets her stab it through a weak point, leaving a deep hole in one of the creature's limbs.
