Introducing Chandra

Erendriel comes out of the Elunite Temple as she often does. Flying. But she's flying a little slow, because a flying red sphere is hovering beside her, making a humming noise. "Yes, I know it's cold," she says, looking at it. "But no I'm not going to move to the Jade Isles. This is closer to where I'm from, and besides, there's more trade coming through Alexandria anyway."

Hun'rar comes walking from the temple of Gilead himself, wearing his full suit of shiny new adamantine armor, although still with the baroque dragon motif and red enemal. When he sees Eren flying along though, with her new companion he waves up with a grin. "Eren! New friend of yours?"

Erendriel and the wysp speak the the same time. "Yes," <No.> After saying Yes, Erendriel looks at the Wysp. "What do you mean No?" <I am thousands of years old. I am not new in any way.>

Erendriel, chuckles and shakes her head. "Chandra says she is thousands of years old, and so is not new. We have an arrangement through the Acquisitioners."

Hun'rar chuckles lightly. "New to me, possibly to you?" he asks with a raised eyebrow. "In any case, I am Hun'rar De Villefort, Warden of Gilead and Dragon Knight of Alexandria." he says to the wysp with a bow. "A please to meet an otherwordly individual." he says politely. "What kind of arrangements, if I may ask."

Erendriel slows down as her broom comes up to Hun'rar. Chandra then flies over to Hun'rar, and circles around him. The humming gets a little louder, and briefly hits the melody of a Gilead hymn. <Hello Hun'rar De Villefort. Erendriel and the Acquisitioners will help preserve my freedom, and so in return I will help her, and them.>

Erendriel nods. "Chandra's people are often made servants or slaves. I won't do that, and I'll help her, so we have an arrangement to help each other. She is a Fire Wysp. They make a lot of music when they want to."

Hun'rar grins "I am afraid I don't understand your companion but I am glad to hear about this arrangement. Slavery is tolerated here in Alexandria and wouldn't think you yourself would tolerate it either." he says to Erendriel. "But can you please tell her its a pleasure to meet her all the same."

Erendriel nods. "Chandra will probably learn to speak with everyone eventually, but for now she only speaks Ignan."

<A pleasure indeed. I can understand you though, Hun'rar De Villefort. Slavery may not be permitted here, but on the Plane of Fire, many things are permitted, even when there is law.>

"Yeah, but whe you've seen your entire race used as mana batteries, Hun'rar... you might need more help than that. And she can understand you, she just can't speak the language yet."

Hun'rar nods to the wysp. "I can see the concern then, laws are not perfectly enforced. I have visited the plane of fire once, it was educational and some part of me deeply enjoyed it despite the overwhelming heat." he notes with a grin. "I hope your time here works out to your advantage." he says to the Wysp.

Erendriel nods as Chandra zips around Hun'rar. A tendril comes out from the glowing red sphere, and reaches out to touch his hand. <Thank you. The heat is much more pleasant than the winter here>, the wisp says. "She says Thank you. And she agrees with me on winter."

Hun'rar nods "I agree too, the winters are cold though my armor and some magic outside of it keep me comfortable." he says shaking the tendril. "Wardens such as myself are expected to guard and serve regardless of the weather. Although I am sure Erendriel can produce more than enough fire to keep anyone warm." he says with a grin.

Erendriel giggles. She knows the fire wysp is a fire elemental of sorts, but Hun'rar can handle touching it no problem, of course. As can she. <You bear a difficult burden Hun'rar de Villefort.> The Wysp then zips back to Erendriel. <I am returning to warm up.> and then poofs.

Staring where the Wysp just was, she giggles. "Well bye then?"

Hun'rar raises an eyebrow "Well that was a neat trick, so is she going to be your companion for everything or just something to work with from time to time?" he asks of Eren. "I didn't know you were active with the Acquisitioners though, been doing it for long?"

Erendriel giggles. "She decided to go back to thePlane of Fire to warm up. But um, yeah. She won't be with me all the time. Just when, you know, I call her, or she decides to come over." Erendriel then stretches a little, shifting on the broom. "They're the ones who taught me ranged trickery."

Erendriel gives Hun'rar's money pouch a tap from afar.

Hun'rar looks down at where he feels the money bag move "Oh, so you are getting better at this. Your saying I should count my coins everytime I meet then?" he says with as smirk. "Just as long as your not using these skills to get into trouble." he says, as a proper paladin should.

Erendriel shakes her head and giggles. "No, I know some people DO use that ability to steal. It was just the lightest thing on you I could see that I could touch. Your armor is far too heavy."

Hun'rar laughs "It is now, got a new suit made of adamantine. Although its not heavier it absorbs blows so much better than steel. Light swings are barely even felt through it, I am so excited to try it out." he says with a grin, excited to get hit. "Between it and my shield I should be able to shrug most any blow off now."

Erendriel laughs. "Yeah. But I think I'm going to have a trick soon that would give you a LOT of trouble. Even up the score."

Hun'rar raises an eyebrow "What is that? If your Scorching rays were anything other than fire I am sure those would give me a lot of trouble. I rarely actually dodge hit, instead counting on my armor to protect me. Or perhaps some new spell your learning?" he asks with a raised eyebrow.

Erendriel snickers. "Well what if I told you I'm going to be able to cast a spell that works better against people in armor?"

Hun'rar nods "Yeah that would do, something electrical then I imagine? So what your telling me is, if we are going to get into it I need to do it sooner, rather than later?" he says with a grin. "Though my fireballs are very difficult in armor."

Erendriel tilts her head. "Well,s ome people use it electrical. And I think, if I really wnated to for some crazy reason, I could probably do it with lightning. So... yes." She winks.

Hun'rar ooohs. "Of course you would turn it to fire, shocking." he adds with a grin. "I'm working on magical flight outside of my dragon form myself as well as a way to displace my location to he harder to nail down. Should help me stay alive for anyone trying to take me down the conventional way. Though with you I might just prepare some lightning resistance."

Erendriel raises a finger. "Not shocking. Burning." She then winks. "Magical flightoutside of dragon form? Very intereesting. EVeryone flies these days."

Hun'rar nods "Well I am resistant to fire already so I figure you would like to switch it up. But flight seems to be more and more of a requirement, especially since I am pretty slow in my armor. Can't smite what I cannot get to, you know? And not everyone wants to come to me. Teleportation effects are high on my list as well." he says with a bit of serious concern. "After all, the middle of a fight is my place."

Erendriel sighs and rolls her eyes. "Well if I HAD to..." She then grimaces. "I mean, if I had to, I could make ice right now. But why would anyone ever want to?"

Hun'rar nods "Why indeed? But its a moot point, I train for fights but hope to never have to engage in them. Evil needs to be fought but... Well ff we do... I feel it would require the very world to turn on its head." he notes with a grin. "Speaking of flying... think I could borrow your broom sometime?"

Erendriel frowns. "I tried, once, since I moved here, to cast ice. It was when we were fighting a plague ooze. This is before I even knew what it was. I tried fire against it. I tried a magic missile against it. Ice was my... last resort."

Erendriel adds "and sure, you can come by my house."

Hun'rar nods "I can't judge, seems my own attempts to burn the ooze out of my body went much worse than that." he says shaking his head "But I will stop by, I would like to practice flying a bit without the dragon form, try to get the knack for it if I can. The dragon form... is built for it so it comes much easier." he says to explain.

Erendriel snickers. "Well, flying on this... is different from flying with wings, I imagine." She leans forward a little, holding on to the handlebars of her sky chopper. "I've never had wings, but I have flown with a potion once. It is kind of different."

Hun'rar nods "I can imagine I suppose. Its a very interesting thing none the less, well suited to you. I would still like a ride if your willing to allow me and quite possibly as much as for fun as practice if I am honest with myself."

Erendriel nods. "Yeah that's fine. Just come on over. I can lend it to you when I'm home, since then I don't need to ride it back home, you know?"

Hun'rar nods "Makes sense, I will drop by when I have finished my studies for the day at the University. Have a safe flight home and congratulations on your new companion." he says with a short bow before taking his leave.
