  • Characters: Aryia, Aya
  • Place: Lower Gardens
  • Time: May 11th, 2022
  • Summary: Aryia and Aya and taking a moment to relax in the lower gardens, the latter taking note of the former's presence after taking an acorn to the skull. The mute mentions that the Hunt has returned after barely any time away, and this causes Aya to grow tense. Trying to get her sister to calm down, Aryia gets Aya to lay down with her for some cloudwatching, and to process the news.

Lower Gardens, Sunset

The setting sun splashes oranges and violets across the sky, large clouds absorbing and scattering the hue as they lazily drift ever onward, ignorant of the ongoings below them.

Within a small patch of wildflowers between the walkways, a mul'neissa woman in a green jacket is laying on the ground. Shining eyes are lazily swooping from cloud to sky to cloud, half lidding on occasion almost like she's going to drift off asleep.

Dusk is a most pleasant time for a stroll, at least for some. Aya may be among that group as she moves through the garden along one of said walkways. Rather than the sky nor passersby, her eyes are upon the flowers to one side of the path or the other. A hand reaches out to trail along some of them, and she even halts a time or two to study one bloom or another more intently.

Feeling like she was just about to drift off, Aryia lulls her head to the side one way to check around for anything, then to the other before she closes her eyes-

They halt, then focus slightly at the figure none too far away. She lightly smiles, and pats around for something.

An acorn >thunk<'s against the side of Aya's head. Followed by the sound of someone blowing a raspberry down at foot height.

Aya startles from her botanical browsing at the impact and promptly whirls about into a ready stance, eyes -now- intently searching for others. Just not at her feet. Not until the raspberry. Her eyes lower and note the perpetrator, causing a familiar smirk to form upon her lips. "Good eve, sister. It seems I am not the only one enjoying the blooms this night."

A pleased expression flashes across her sleepy face before Aryia gives a nod. One of the arms splayed about within the wildflowers rises as she points up to the clouds. Seems to be her current venue of activity.

She cycles a breath In as he arm flops back against the grass. Seemingly reminded of something at the sight of her sister, and resists the urge to rub at her face.

Aya follows the gesture upwards and takes a long look. Whether to not further break the quiet, or so she can comment without looking from the view, she gestures, "It is a delightful view. Nearly as colorful as the flowers. Daechir has several in his own garden which have not yet bloomed. I am anxious to see them." There a pause and her smirk deepens into a chuckle and she comments aloud, "Not a thought I had considered before."

Aryia, however, has to break from the view to see the motioned speech. She bobs her head once more in agreement. "I bet they'll look good. It's nice to look forward to small stuff like that," she gestures back after a moment to drink in the sky. "I have a midnight flower at my house that only opens when it's pitch black out. It's pretty."

A long moment to pause. A breath Out.

"Dumb bitch is back already."

Delivered with as much elegance in a manner that only Aryia could present: absurdly blunt. <Handspeech>

Aya's mirth expands at Aryia's comment, smirk traded for smile. That is, until the last comment. Perhaps it best that she was looking to the clouds rather than touching petals, as both hands tighten into fists. A quote from Aryia the Wise promptly leaps to her lips. "Fuck."

Aryia the Wise echoes the wisdom. "F-ck," she hisses. Failing to resist the urge this time, she rubs at her face, as if it'd wipe away the gross development. "And that's why I'm just sort of here. Relaxing."

Her bottom lip sticks out in thought, her craning her head back some to look up at Aya. She blinks, reaches out, and grabs at a dangling cloth to gently tug in a beckon. "Join me." <Handspeech>

Aya is hesitant, as if the time to relax was just noted as having expired. Though that may be all the more reason for Aryia's beckoning. With a sigh, she lowers to a crouch and then... flops over into the foliage. "I do not suppose any of these flowers are deadly poison to fiends?" Wouldn't that be pleasantly convenient?

The mute chuckles, a breathy sort of sound. "I fucking wish. Instead they just smell nice to keep the bad thoughts away."

She looks over at her sister beside her, a sigh escaping her lips as she wiggles over to lay beside Aya.

A hand raises to motion, it pausing while it has a backdrop of the orange sky. "Look. This is stressful. But that cunt wants us to get worn down, right? This is a test of endurance. And you don't win a marathon by sprinting fast as fuck." <Handspeech>

Aya nods, even if part of it is obscured by blooms. She lifts a hand to respond. "I am patient. Was patient. She threatens my -family-." A sigh."It is not so easy to be patient."

Aryia flicks her gaze tot he side to catch the signs. "It's not easy. But with patience comes opportunity to strike. Use that energy of /it/ threatening your family when you have it on the ropes."

She looks up to the sky. "Or do what I'm doing and think of the many ways to grind them into a pulp. It's good therapy." She points to a random cloud. "Hey look, that one looks like the bitch is getting thrown off a cliff."

She snickers. <Handspeech>

Aya now turns her eyes skyward and considers the clouds. The one with the bitch off a cliff, then another that could be the bitch crushed painfully between two very large stones. The bitch in pieces... Hmm. It is rather therapeutic and Aya's mouth begins to curl unevenly before one hand comments absently, "The sky will exhaust its supply of clouds before my imagination fails..."

"Then lets go through what clouds are they so we can make a mental list for later," Aryia gestures back as a light smile pulls at her lips. Her gaze turns back to the sky as the colors darken to the red and umbral hues.

A hand pats around the side to find Aya's, and she holds onto it. <Handspeech>
