  • Title: Zeke is Back!
  • Emitter: Cryosanthia
  • Characters: Galidor, Cryosanthia, Seyardu, Zeke, Braelnoir
  • Place: A07: Fernwood Pub
  • Time: Sunday, July 11, 2021, 11:32 PM
  • Summary: Galidor is having a drink at the bar when a greenscaled sith'makar enters with her daughter. They are distracted at first, clearly waiting for someone. A blue scaled sith'makar with green eyes, who has not been seen in the Fernwood for over a year, walks in and over to the heart. Cryosanthia drops her disguise, while Lily changes hers to match Galidor's scales, as Seyardu enters and Braelnoir descends. Zeke is looking well, improved, and tells Cryosanthia he has returned for several reasons, the most important being her. Does she hate him, will she forgive him? Cryo is completely absorbed by this conversation while Seyardu, Braelnoir and Galidor discuss Lily's latest invention with the youngling. Cryo says she does not hate Zeke, but never gets to answering his second question. He says he dire warnings, which causes the whitescale to laugh. She has so many worries a new one might be a refreshing change. Uncertain, sad yet hopeful, Zeke says he must depart but Cryo introduces Lily as her daughter before he does, explaining in not many words that her priorities have changed. The bluescale understands and suggests they may share words again, and leaves. Cryo is left, still in shocked disbelief, she never expected to see him again. Seyardu becomes increasingly distraught, drinking heavily, and even Braelnoir becomes lost in the what-ifs. Lily spills and smashes things, throwing a little tantrum to get the adults to change topics and they eventually do. Cryo shows off her latest magic item, an amulet made from Braelnoir's scales, and they depart for Mikilos' as Seyardu heads to bed.

The common room of the Fernwood Pub dominates the inn, spacious and airy because of the high, vaulted ceiling. Ornately carved beams of dark, polished wood form a lattice overhead, supporting the arched roof two storeys above the floor. To the right of the double-door entry is a spiral staircase, winding upwards to a balcony that rings and overlooks the main area. Large windows at this level grant an excellent view of the river to the west and colorful market stalls to the north and east. An air of coziness is salvaged by keeping the pub dimly lit; parchment-shrouded mana lanterns hang at intervals from the base of the balcony, nestled amongst lush, magically propagated ivy and ferns that grow over this false demi-ceiling and the struts that support it.

The bar is sleek and simple, comprised of meticulously polished black lacquer. Tables are set under the darker niches formed by the balcony floor as well as on the balcony itself. A few are deliberately sized to accommodate halflings and gnomes, but the majority are meant for human-sized individuals. A large common table is on the main floor, set before a semi-circular stage situated against the western wall. Beside it, with pipes mounted upon the wall and running up past the balcony and almost to the ceiling, is a refurbished pipe organ made to look like the one lost when the Fernwood was destroyed during the Merkabah Siege.

It's evening at the Fernwood.

The tide is high, and with it a fog has rolled in, filling the humid streets and making them harder to navigate. The windows are like mirrors, reflecting the light back in. Wisps of it follow when the door is opened, soon dispersing.

The crowd is dwindling, there are a few tables full of customers. Both servers, the human Miri and the half-sil Kaeryn, are still on. Food is still to be had from the kitchen, but the focus has switched to drinks.

Galidor is all ready sitting at the bar having some water and a very rare steak with some spiced potatoes. He's by himself for the moment mainly focused on his food, but giving a glance towards the door when any newcomers enter.

It is a well-timed glance. The door does indeed open, and two newcomers enter. A female green-scaled Sith'Makar, with a similarly coloured youngling trailing behind her.

She ducks as she passes the threshold, a mild dive forward and then straightens up. She glances at the ceiling and around the Fernwood, moving over to the bar to lean and hold it up. Her youngling is lifted up onto the counter as she asks for a drink. "Hey Bill, something made from berries, a glass for each."

"Sure... stranger I've never met before."

There's a lull in the thrum of people coming and going through the door, and then another sith-makar enters. This one wearing the white vestments of Daeus. A tabard and shorts underneath laced up the sides to accommodate a sith-makar's legs. The sith's scales are dark blue, and green eyes have the weight of great experience in them. The weight of a life lived. Perhaps many of them. Black horns crown the sith's head and, arching over the head and yet the sith holds their head up easily. More strange however is the sith's left arm and leg. Both made of pure clear cystal and beautiful to behold. They have an ambiance to them, and the sith does nothing to hide their presence.

Slowly the sith looks around the room, pausing at the door and seeming uncertain as to if entering is a good idea. With a rolling gate the sith-makar takes one more step into the establishment before walking toward the hearth and standing there with a quarterstaff held in one hand. The sith's mien suggests that the use of it is second nature.

Galidor watches from his seat at the bar as three other sith-makars enter into the pub. He nods politely towards them, "Peace on your nests." He says politely to the green-scaled sith-makar who comes up to the bar. "Peass on your kneess." The green-scaled youngling says, followed by "Thansss," as the two drinks arrive.

The green-scaled woman is frozen, her mouth open as she stares at the sith'makar near the hearth. She takes a step forward, stares at the door, stares back at the hearth as if confirming her eyes. She inhales strongly, the scents also confirm. Galidor's greeting has been completely missed.

"Zeke?" She asks. It's Cryosanthia's voice. Everything else about her is not. Another hesitant step forward towards him is taken, another glance at the door is made.

The sith turns at the sound of the name. His name. It is Zeke.

Nothing about him has changed. Save perhaps the way he stands. For once long ago he stood as if wishing to vanish, and now... He stands proudly. He turns and looks at the female sith-makar and blinks. It is not her color. It is not her /scent/. Yet the voice is the voice of Cryosanthia. He lifts a hand to the side of his head, confusion slipping across his features. His eyes flicker to the young sith at the bar and then back again. "Thisss one isss Zeke yessss." His words are hissing things, heavily accented by Draconic. Perhaps even more so than before he left. They hold an uncertainty that his body does not.

Galidor smiles at the young sith-makar as she greats him. He looks over at the other two as they appear to know each other and he doesn't want to interrupt what looks to be at long time reunion. He can hear that it's Cryoanthia's voice and figured that this one must be Lily. He knows illusion spells or disguise kits can change one's appearance although he's curiously as to why it's green. He keeps the question to himself as he continues his meal.

The youngling at the bar stares at Galidor, picking up the large mug of berry juice. She takes a sip. She stares at his scales, looks at her clutch-mother then back at him. Setting the mug down, she touches touches beside her eyes, rubs her nose and seems to be fiddling with her face.

Her scales switch to match the shimmering gold patterns and liquid metallics of Galidor's.

The adult greenscale is taking in all the details, the posture, his confidence, the accent of his words. "Oh, right." She looks around the Fernwood, no one really seems to be paying attention to this exchange. She touches beside her eyes.

The scale colours change, from green to brilliant white with pale blue patterns. Her build, slightly taller than the illusion, her remembered height, but she seems even more muscular. The clothes are unchanged, a simple leather dress, still green. She has two strange growths on her back, like beams, folded over and wrapped in cloth.

Her scents are proper now, it's her, and anxious. She asks carefully, "You... are well?"

The procession of sith-makars entering the pub continued, though this time from the stairs. Down the stairs came a silver scaled sith-makar. She entered the main hall from where the inn rooms were situated, looking around. She waves to the Galidor, and to the those at the bar elsewhere as well until she reaches a counter near him, and leans against it. Though she cannot help but look at the arm that was almost see through of the other for a moment. "Peace on your nests." She greets warmly.

Galidor watches the colors change from green to matching his own, "Interesting bit of magic you have there." He comments in between bites of his meal and he spots the wave to him, "Peace on your nest." He greets back to Seyardu. Cryosanthia's change it appearance is noted, but she seems busy with her reunion with Zeke.

Almost by rote Zeke responds to the greeting offered. "Peassce on your nessst." To the silver female though he only has eyes for the white one. His green eyes never leave her for a second, and for a moment his scent is utterly surprised and then... pleased. "Thissss one isss better. But what of you? Are you... well?"

There's something there on the edges of his words, something not quite but almost spoken. It drifts in the air between them.

"This one is..." Cryosanthia glances at the door again, back at Zeke once more. She has stepped closer but stands a few paces back from him and the hearth. She has her hands clasped, held low. Her tail also, is low and close against the back of her legs. She's formal, in a posture that suggests confidence and power which is contradicted by her scents.

Confused scents. "This one is glad you are better. This one is... focused. And busy."

"Peass on your kneesta," the glimmering goldenscaled youngling waves at Seyardu as she arrives, returning to her drink. She grins at the silver and gold, then points at Zeke and asks them, "Who that?"

"I was not expecting so many to be here, but it is probably the most popular inn on the way to Mictlan. I was just here to see my friend, but they have already retired for the night." Seyardu explains despite not being asked. She waves over to where Lily was, beckoning her over.

"It is good to see you, Lily. To be completely honest, I don't know who she is speaking to, and I barely know Galidor here. How are you though, Lily? Have you been working on anything interesting of late?" She asks, out of genuine curiosity, and to give the others some manner of space. Even as far as she was, she could feel the tension, and that something may be amiss.

Zeke moves forward, not closing in on her space, but closer than they have been in a very long time. Closer than he is usually is to another. His voice however, is quiet when he speaks again. Quiet enough that if others wished to listen they would have to try very hard. "Do you hate thisss one c-Cryosanthia?" A slight hesitation in his words, almost imperceptible. "Can you forgive thisss one, for what thisss one had to do?"

There is a creak from upstairs.

The sound of a door closed and locked.

Then, the rattle-thump of mailed feet descending the stair.

The downward stide ultimately deposits the mercenary in residence, her peripheral vision curtailed by her elbows as she binds the folded lengths of her silver hair at the back of her neck. Her arms come down as she rolls her neck some to either side, then adjusts the lay of her backpack as she turns to greet the crowd with a hearty, "Evenin', luvs!"

Galidor nods, "I often come here as it has some good food. I'm sorry that you missed your friend." He finishes up, "I was just about to leave though. I only came in here for some dinner. The steak is good, they will cook it rare for you if you ask nicely, although they insist you use the little metal weapons to eat it." He looks to Lily, "I don't know either, but I bet if you go over and ask she'll tell you." He inclines his head politely to the newcomer, "Peace on your nests."

Cryosanthia is the one to step back, automatically, unconsciously respecting the distance Zeke prefers to keep. Her scents remain very strong, confused with an acrid undercurrent of worry, faint but persistent. She's been anxious about something for a long time.

Her head shakes, almost imperceptibly, her eyes closing. "This one does not. No. Does not hate you. This one understands. We were both too hurt to stay together, opening old wounds."

She doesn't notice Braelnoir descending the stairs, even though her scale-sister was the reason she came here. All of Cryo's attention is focused on Zeke.

Lily meanwhile, is happy to have adult attention, and grins with red-stained teeth at Seyardu and Galidor. "Yesss. The fisssh walksss." She nods, listening to his advice and is about to hop off the bar when Braelnoir clomps down. "Tia Braesss!"

Cryosanthia hasn't answered the other question. She still seems and smells like she's in shock.

Zeke nods, thoughts drifting across his mind and yet none of them are spoken. Instead the sith-makar bows his head to her. To Cryosanthia. "Perhapssss... thisss isss too much. Thisss one doesss not wisssh to make thingsss difficult for you." He turned, then shook his head and turned back. "Thisss one... thisss one came back for many reasssonsss, but thisss one wissshesss you to know that one of thossse reasssonsss wasss you. You..."

Zeke bowed to her gently, then looked at the others, knowing that they were observing this moment. "Thisss one alssso comesss with a dire warning."

"Ah, Braelnoir! Peace on your nest." Seyardu replies in greeting a touch distractedly to the woman. "Yes, fresh meat is usually good, if a bit expensive. It is alright, duty comes first, and working on a poor amount of sleep is never a good idea. I am glad to hear that your machine works properly, Lily. Though I hope the fish was alright after your testing."

There was a pause, and Seyardu waves down one of the bartenders, ordering a glass of alcohol. Nothing specific, quite literally a glass of alcohol.

Braelnoir blinks some as she notes the bluescale, "Well fu-!" she exhales softly, then finds herself derailed by the familiar greeting of Lily. She reorients her headspace for the moment and steps away from thes tair to dip into a wide armed crouch with a, "C'mere!" of greeting. She looks up with a grin at Seyardu and offers a, "Evenin', luv, how is?" chased by a quick glance toward Zee and her sister.

"This one did not think you would return." Cryosanthia says, her voice low, her head dipped. The things on her back straining inside their cloth bindings. "Ever. This one... resigned to that. This one needed too much, hurt you too much. This one apologizes."

It's the dire warning which breaks her frigidity. She laughs, and it's not bitter or terse, not angry. It's honest, cheerful laughter, with only the slightest hints that she's exaggerating it. Her posture shifts and she leans, a little forward from the things on her back, and a hip against the nearest table. "Oh Zeke! This one has so many warnings! The suspense of if it is new, old or unknown is almost a joy. Look! Her mark returned, almost."

She pulls off her glove, revealing the back of her left hand. In the spot where there was once a snowflake there is now Cryo's Arcane Mark, a dragon eye formed from the letters of her name, written in scars. She grins, replacing the glove, "This one is not being flippant. This one has... so much to catch you up on."

Lily meanwhile launches off the bar at Braelnoir. She looks a lot larger than she is, thanks to her illusion. She's both hard to catch, heavier than Braelnoir remembers, and lighter than she looks. Turning to Seyardu, the goldscale youngling says, "Yes! Fish all allright. We fry up for fish sandwich."

Thus ending the career of the first land-walking fish.

Galidor nods, "Yes it is expensive. I'm going to head off. Peace on your nests."

"Then perhaps now isss not the time for thisss one to ssspeak." Zeke nods low to everyone, but deepest to Cryosanthia. "Perhapssss thisss one need learn of Alexandria again firssst." He turns again, this time stepping toward the door. "Peasssce." He steps aside for the other male, pausing to allow the other time to exit.

Braelnoir soaks the impact with a somewhat surprised, "Wha-umph!" and ends up on her butt with her arms full of niece. She nuzzles the little one, "Well, reckkon' that's where that come from."

She gets a knee under her and scoops up the little one before pushing to her feet. There's a little kiss then, "Mighty shiny, luv." she croons to Lily and sidles over to Seyardu as the others talk, her eyes locked on the pair. As they break, she regards the bluescale and bows her head, "Been a while, Zee. Have a good one."

"Well, at least you made use of nature's bounty. I am still glad your test was succesful." The sith-makar chuckles. She takes the glass brought to her. Something mixed, with some manner of hard alcohol, and a lot of it, from the smell alone. They took the glass with a nod, and had a long sip. "I have been alright, I would say. Plenty of time, to rest and think."

"Zeke, its... before you go. So you will understand." Cryosanthia glides back to Braelnoir and the goldenscale youngling. She beckons at Zeke, waving him back from the door. "Lily," she taps at the side of her eyes.

The youngling repeats her earlier face fiddling. Her golden-scales vanish, and she becomes the size and mass that Braelnoir seems to be holding. A youngling of several years, it's clear. A kobold youngling with pink scales that are the colours of carnations.

"Zeke. This is Little Fang. Lily in tradespeack. She's my daughter, my foundling." The significance of that statement would not escape him. Only he knows knows the depths of despair surrounding her first. "This one hardly adventures anymore, and only for things that only this one can do. This one will not leave her motherless. This one will not lose another."

"Lily," the whitescale turns to her foundling, "This is... Zeke. This is Zeke." She repeats.

"Peass," Lily says, taking a drink and waving at the bluescale. Yet her attention is riveted on Cryo throughout it all.

Zeke looks at the kobold and then Cryosanthia, then back to the child again. Understanding, and sorrow flicker over his scent, and over his features for those that can read a sith face. "Thisss one underssstandsss." He did. He understood everything in a way he had no way of knowing before this moment. The male sith looked at the child and nodded low to her. "Thisss one hopesss, that you have found happinesssss at lasssst. Thisss one..."

He shook his head. "Thisss one will go. Perhapsss another time we may sssshare wordssss." This time he did not pause in his leaving. He simply strode through the door, his scent lingering in the air as one of sorrow, and yet also hope.

"Sometimes what it takes, though we ain't always got th'time fer it." Brae observes to Seya, giving a little nod of undestanding, "Yer lookin bettter."

Then, of Lilyy she asks, "So, was'e a tasty fishie?"

Cryo's appproach brings a concerned look, but she leans her shoulder against her sister as a comfort with her arms full as Zeke finally takes his leave. She sighs and pushes against the larger woman slightly, "Hey, luv... you...?" there's no way this won't sound assinine, "Gonna be ok?"

Cryosanthia inhales a scent she never expected to taste again. A scent she avoided places she might find it. A scent that pulls on instinctive strings, evoking subconscious confusion. "I thought I'd never see him again."

Her head turns, to stare, her expression confused, uncertain. She sounds lost. "I extinguished the lights and fires, so hope of it would not destroy me. I closed the book."

She exhales, a forceible sigh, "I wish I was not in season. That is not helping."

Lily knocks over Cryo's untouched berry juice. It spills across the bar in a small, red wave. She's staring at her Ssassa the whole time, it was deliberate. She hisses. "Ooopsss."

Cryo's server training takes over and she's grabbing a rag and wiping up the spill without thinking. "Lily... it's ok. It's not that."

The silverscale left at the bar nods, understanding. There was something to their thoughts, and a mixture of emotions from her as well. Some form of sadness and longing. The drink is quickly finished, and another asked for in the meantime, she helps clean the spill.

"This one thinks it is a good thing underneath how you are right now. I am happy for you, Cryosanthia." She says, accompanied by a smile.

Braelnoir gets a sort of mild s-curve to her lips and nods, "Yeah..."

How would she feel if somehow... if he suddenly walked in...?

The Korite yanks her head away from that line of though. That's a rabbit hole full of vipers she's not ready to cuddle. And so, back to the now, "It's a start." she muses in answer to Seyardu, as Lily and Cryo have there exchange.

"Miki should be done wi'my gear. Was gonna hoof it on over'n pick it up in a bit."

"Thank you, Seyardu." Cryosanthia says, turning to look at the silverscale as they both wipe up. "That was my cihuaa. When we were with Salina. In her tower. Together. For eighty years."

"Then we left it, and we were not."

>>CRASH<<

Lily has knocked a glass off the bar now.

"Yes Little Fang, this one will think about other things." Cryosanthia says, turning and hugging Braelnoir. Her hands clench against her back. She holds on hard. She's so cold.

She wrenches the conversation. "This one wants some things from Mikilos. He's making something for the little knight and said it woud finish soon. This one will go with you."

"You mentioned, or I gathered from how you spoke before, though I did not know that was them. It is not something I have heard of being broken lightly." The silverscale nods. They were on edge, certainly, and the crashing of the glass made her jump. Though it was the hug afterwards that caused more distress. The second drink arrived, and it was nearly emptied in one go.

"I understand you wish to help, but breaking the glasses is not good for the inn. They need to replace them, and someone needs to pay." She mentions, turning away and to the door. "I hope your gear is ready then, Braelnoir."

Braelnoir gives Cryo a little kiss within the hugs, her arms still full of petulent kobold, who gets a little squeeze.

As it breaks, she sets the little one down and gently strokkes her headscales, "Has a point, luv."

She nods to Cryo and, "Well, good we run into each other, anyway. I gotta get some chow, first, though."

She looks to Seyardu then and gently claps the silverscale's shoulder, "Oughta be by now. You got any need fer armor, luv?" "Yes." The whitescale glances at the door, "perhaps even more than I thought."

She holds up the amulet around her neck. A new one, silverscales, surrounding a white scales. "I had this made, for claws. Nothing is getting away from me now."

Glancing at Little Fang she says, "We should put our disguises back on."

The whitescale and carnationscale slip on their masks and concentrate, and then two greenscales are in their place.

Cryosanthia stands more erect, looking at Seyardu, "It wasn't broken lightly."

Lily immediately grabs for another glass, telling the silverscale, "Magic fixesss things better than people." She's ready to throw it.

"No Lily, no, this one is thinking of other things. Put it down."

It is not obvious, but the silverscale is in full on panic mode even if she's trying not to show it. Demolishing two drinks in one or two minutes when she hardly drinks at all, is a strong clue.

The youngling noticed however. All the adults are emotionally stinky.

"Armor? This one, was thinking of finding armor that may be more comfortable to move in, or getting the breastplate improved in some manner." The silverscale answers as she looked at the glass in her hand, finishing it off. They winced just a bit as the arm clapped her shoulder, and she sighs. "Magic for mending things cannot do many small pieces like a glass easily. I am sorry, I will try not to make them think of it more, however Lily."

Almost full on panic for a split second.

Braelnoir smirs a little and leans in as Cryo points out the necklace, "Why, hello, there, you look familiar." she quips, then looks up to Cryo, "Looks good on you." she remarks, then reaches down to try and intercede on the glasses behalf, "Ah-ah, easy, there, now."

There is the somewhat odd look at Seyardu's reaction to her touch and she withdraws her hand, "Sorry, luv. Yer... I still ain't a hunnerd percent readin' Sith... what's gotcha wound so tight?"

"You know, they are!" She grins, peering at the necklace, "It needs some protective magic."

Cryosanthia appears to be calming down, and Little Fan who is watching her, appears to be lowering the glass. It's almost an indication of how her Ssassa is doing. Glass high, high anxiety. Glass low, lowered anxiety.

Then Braelnoir helps it all the way down. When it finally touches the bar, the whitescale sighs, then inhales. "Oh my scales. I stink of fear." Among other things. She automatically waves her hands through a quick cast, and her gloves glow. She wipes herself down, erasing scents.

"Oh... it's you." She faces Seyardu, coming to the same realization a few seconds after Braelnoir. "There is something wrong?"

"Am I, I do not know what wound tight is supposed to mean." Seyardu admits as she sets down her glass and turns around. There was a shake of her head, and with nothing else in the way, the silverscale was much easier to read, even if she was trying to hide it. Sadness, confusion, longing, worry, all were written. She watches the hand movements, and sighs.

"This one should learn how to do that. There is nothing wrong, or should not be. I was thinking, how a hug would be good."

Braelnoir blinks. She frowns a little, now that the glass is out of danger, and releases her grip. She glances at Cryo, then down to Lily, then figures, what the hell? The Korite steps in and makes to encircle the silverscale in her arms.

The girls know what to do, she's sure.

Cryosanthia gently glides in to embrace Seyardu from opposite Braelnoir. Cold, strong, she's a reassuring presence even her comfort is a little on the cool side.

There's a thump, as Lily drops down to the floor, and hugs the silverscale's knee. She is not going anywhere with the Kobold leg-clamp. "Peasss Tia Ssaysss."

"Yes. You are safe and valued. Do not despair." The whitescale adds.

There was a moment before the silverscale returned the hug to Braelnoir, but it was, with a sigh. She relaxes somewhat, but the sadness remained, though the other lingering feelings seemed to dissipate. And the others joined the hug as well, Seyardu chuckling just a bit.

"My thanks, I know it was a strange thing to ask. I know I am safe, and I hope I can do good for others. But this one cannot help but worry about others. Old memories upon my mind that were brought back."

The cluster hug is not one they trained her for in the Stride.

It came later, much later, in circles outside the old life

It came in large part from the whitescale's example, the bond they share.

Brae gives the silverscale a little pat and a squeeze, "We all got us some baggage, luv. Life hits all'v us different. Sometimes hits us hard's all."

Old memories. That is the subject of the day. Cryosanthia loosens her embrace, still present as a cold pillar, "This one will be ok, Seyardu, do not worry. This one is concerned for you. Recent events have not been kind."

She looks, at Braelnoir, Seyardu, down at Lily who holds her arms up to be lifted and is. Ending up on her shoulders. "We should talk, about those. Though first, we should go to Mikilos'. Sleep. Tomorrow, the Tarrace Pools or the Tornmawr. This one has a lot to think about and wants to be under water."

She glances at the door once more, "We should get home before the fog brings another surprise."

It has been known to do that.

"I am sure you will be okay, Cryosanthia. You are strong, it is true. In many ways. I did not expect everything in a new place to be perfect. If that is an offer, then perhaps I will join you, unless it was to be alone with ones thoughts, I also understand."

They were still holding the hug with Braelnoir, and she likely would not be the first to end it. It had been a long time. "I may have made you linger overlong, so I will not make you stay longer. Peace on your nest, Cryosanthia."

There's a nod as Brae slowly eases back out of the hug, "Yeah, w'probly should. I can grab something when I get back."

She runs her hands along her bandolier and her weapons belts and nods, feeling everything in their places.

"Don't mind if she don't, Seya. Sides, ain't a night ta walk the street alone. Not'n fog like this. Stretch o'the legs'll do us all good."

She looks to the sorority of scales and reaches to push the door out toward the city beyond.

Besides, she's finally remembered a jody she can teach them that Lily's probably old enough to hear.

"Yes, it was for both of you." The greenscale says, following after Braelnoir, heading for the door, "Peace on your Nest."

"Peasss on your kneesta." Lily adds.

Cryo looks at Braelnoir, "I'm taking the left route, I'll add a few minutes."

And they're gond.
