  • Title: You are cordially invited
  • Emitter: Cryosanthia
  • Characters: Cryosanthia, Faranmidahn, Sabina, Elleandra
  • Place: A10: Temple of Daeus
  • Time: Thursday, April 16, 2020, 8:50 PM
  • Summary: The books have finally beaten Cryosanthia, and she has fallen asleep at her task. Faranmidahn is putting away the books they are done with. Sabina arrives, with another Explorer's Guild record, and wakens the sith. Cryo is confused and polite, introductions are made, along with a brief attempt to name Sabina's familiar. The discussion progresses to the fate of Sephielia, which Cryo relays. She was saved. Elleandra arrives with a beautiful bundle, that opens to reveal a polished invitaion. She and Kamaria are to be wed, and wish Cryo to be her witness to the vows. They both think of her as a (much) bigger sister. Cryo agrees enthusiastically and shares the news that Zeke has chosen her, so they are officially each cihuaa, although a ceremony is encouraged and Cryo wishes to invite all her friends. She is of course, having difficulty keeping the list small. That they both have future dangerous tasks, and things to get over, which may delay these happy moments are touched on, but they are encouraged that there is hope.

The temple of the Sun Lord glitters golden beneath the same. Rather than walls, the majority of the temple is composed of what appears at first blush to be a raised round platform made of one of the largest slabs of marble likely in existence. Columns rise into the air as if to hold some massive ceiling, though instead of a normal ceiling, one finds the deep blue sky, studded by a disconcertingly close canopy of bright stars. One should not worry, however, as the rain never falls, and the wind never blows on this particular temple, but for a gentle breeze, whatever the weather outside may be.

Despite the austerity of the columns, warmth suffuses the grounds. A grand, marble statue of the Shining Knight stands a the center, a hand outstretched in benediction. Beside Him, the statue of Althea, their hands clasped in love. The central position of the temple to the others gives view to all of their children, and the two look upon one another with the solemnity of love that has been the center of so many tales and legends.

Masterfully designed mana lamps provide further soft, golden lightning where needed, their pedestals carved in the form of the Dragons of Light, over which Daeus is said to have dominion in His form of Draco Solis. Majesty, justice, and welcome suffuse the temple grounds. Around the central temple are a series of smaller buildings, each with a simple function and form. One houses the sacred book depicting some of the earliest known translations of the Laws of Light, which pilgrims from near and far come to visit. Another houses the well-appointed quarters of the Sunguards, and among all the ground bristle the Sunblades.

The Temple of Daeus, the record room.

A white-scaled sith-makar woman has her head down on the table. She's face first into a map, surrounded by scrolls, small books, larger tomes, and various writing supplies. She is, apparently sleeping, with one of the guild records flopped open across her nose. Her breath blows through it, and the top corner of the seam has some hoarfrost on it. With the way she is braced on the table and her tail down behind her, she's not likely to be going anywhere, but it's also not a comfortable position.

Around her, the books, the records, the scrolls, sit patiently with their secrets.

Faranmidahn, meanwhile, is in the aisles putting some of the records previously deemed picked clean or tacitly irrelevant back into the places, a white facinator, one that looks like it was covered in coconut flakes, resting on the crown of her head in place of her helm. Her expression is thoughtful but not morose, and she is being pretty quiet in deference to her sleeping friend. It's a quiet nap, after all, she means to let her have her fill of it.

Of those who would visit the temple of Daeus, Sabina would normally not be one. Yet time and need has brought her bearing a slim book from the Adventurers guild for one Cryosanthia.

The name is familiar to the young woman and she has been wracking her brain trying to remember who the name is attached too when she stumbles across the records room that a young priest was kind enough to direct her too.

Adjusting the peacock on her shoulder and it's tail of feathers that runs down her back she steps in and looks about owlishly, sneezing softly at the dust and scent of paper, vellum and skins that books and scrolls tend to be made from.

The palescale sith says something inaudible and lifts up her head. The book falls off her nose. She looks around, staring a her surroundings, clearly confused. The books, the other people in the room, the ache in her back, it takes a while to click into place where she is.

"Faran? Did I fall asleep? Hello there." She blinks, and it seems to be a stronger blink than usual, and goes on longer. Finally her eyes open again, "That's a nice peacock."

Sabina opens her mouth to speak, a smile already forming when she suddenly sneezes again. This time hard enough to force the peacock to readjust itself on her shoulder and let out it's strange cry in aggrivation. The woman gives the bird a 'look' and then smiles back at Faran and Cryo in turn. "I think we've met before yes? And you are Cryosanthia? I've a book the guild wished to have sent over to you. And seeing I was already headed this way..." She trails off and leans in a tad as if she was making a conspiracy filled false whisper. "Not too loud..all the praise goes to his head. He's so vane." And then she steps forward and offers over the book in question.

Faranmidahn cants her head a little at the sudden sneeze and tries to look up past her brows with a soft, crooning, "shhhh, it's ok, sweetie." She tucks the scrolls into their place, calling back to Cryosanthia's question, 'Oh, Cryo! You did, I.... it seemed like you needed some rest and it seems untroubled so I thought I'd tidy up and let you to it for a while!' The little albino drifts back toward the main area in time for the sneezy lady to sound off again, 'Oh, hello!' Did the little thing on her head just move? <halfling>

"Oh, yes, hello." Cryosanthia rises from where she's sitting. In a small room, she looms large, twice Faran's height and a foot taller than Sabina, her presence dominates as she moves around the table, smoothing down her robes. It's a casual gesture which gives the impression she is quite comfortable in this environment.

"Well, the dreams were pleasant but I don't remember them, so it's much like being awake." She grins at Faran as she closes on Sabina. She holds out her hand, "Thank you for the book. We've met before, haven't we?"

The woman of middle hieght nods as she hands over the book. A brief side glance over to the Lucht woman and a wink her way. "So nice to be called sweetie" She says to the shorter woman, likely misinterpreting on purpose. Turning back to Cryo she chuckles. 'Yes. I was with you when you investigated the fairy circle in the woods. Tell me, has the little elf girl gotten any better or did they truely steal her away?' <halfling>

Faranmidahn blinks a bit at the response and, "Oh! Ah, yes well I was..." she fidgets a little bit, and the little thing on her head shifts a bit, "I'm sorry... my familiar was a little startled when you sneezed, I was trying to soothe her." She considers Cryosanthia as she rises, remarks and she shrugs, "Well, better than some, I imagine? Do you feel any better?"

Cryosanthia brings her hand up to her lips, a finger and thumb on her chin. Oddly, she seems to have a strip of silk wrapped around her jaw and tied off to her horns, like a sling, or something a person might wear for a toothache. "Oh. My apologies then. I was not... feeling well. I do recall."

"The Fae returned to steal her away a few nights ago. I was there with Mikilos and several other adventurers. We negotiated to trade personal items of significance. Lysos gave away the only momento she had of her father, Zap bled for them, I relinquished a song that gave me happiness and hope. Others, made offerings. Together it was enough."

The sith exhales strongly, nostrils flaring like a horse, "No one had to give up their firstborn." It seems like it should be a joke, but the way she says it, it doesn't.

Cryo nods at Faran, touching her bandaged cheeks, "it feels fine now. I am a little less anxious about things."

Faranmidahn almost looks like someone stomped on her spider at the first born comment, but she tries to hide it quickly through redirection, "Well, you can keep that strip as long as you need it, though I'm surprised you haven't tried using your sleeves to spruce it up a little." She then turns to the nice bird lady, "I hope things have been well for you?"

The Tsuran listens first to Faran who gets a grin and a nod with some interest directed into the Lucht's hair, trying to spot the familiar. Then she listens to Cryo with some growing concern. "That sounds very.. troubling. I am glad to know she is safe at home. But I mourn for the loss of a song that brought you happiness." She motions to the 'bandage', "Are you injured?"

At Taran's question she nods with a grin. "Learning the city and it's peoples. So many peoples!"

"That's true Faran, I suppose I could have. Some sort of head wrap or hat that looks intentional. If I was going out perhaps." Cryo says, looking over at the lucht, then shaking her head at the tsuran, "No, not injured... a friend of mine has a transformation curse, a little bit of it may have rubbed off when she hit me? Or I've developed some new ability. My jaw is a little different than I'm used too."

She silently moves the lower part of her snout about, side to side, down. The muscles on her cheeks bulge strangely, "It's like it has a second hinge point now. Sometimes. I'd ask another sith but I've been a little out of touch. Sort of. Alexandria is busy though, I will agree."

Faranmidahn smiles and, glances up past her brows again, "Zephyr, sweetie, let the nice lady see how beautiful you are!" she croons softly. With that, almost reluctantly, the little coconut fascinator on her head pops up on eight little fuzzy legs, staring at the world with those round onyx eyes. One of the spider's forelegs raises forward and wag-wags toward them. She shrugs to Cryosanthia on her musings, but agrees to the last part, "I do, too."

Sabina awws softly and raises her hand and then a single finger to wave back to the little spider. She blinks then, "I'm so very sorry. Where are my manors. Let me introduce myself. I'm Sabina, Luckbringer of Tarien and Enchantress. A pleasure to meet you both. In Cryosanthia's case, again?" She motions to the peacock who's feathers raise breifly and spread before sinking down. "I have yet to name him. It seems to me he should name himself or will rename himself once he's able to correct me. So I've waited on settling on one."

"Ooooh Zephyr, you are so cute! Did this one tell you how much she likes that you are white? Your eyes stand out so well." The sith is surprisingly warm in how she gestures towards the little spider, crouching and snaking with extra movements of her head. The arachnid is unlikely to appreciate this, but Cryo does display some affection.

"They are both beautiful and wonderful company for you Faran. I expect one day to see you completely acrawl with spiders. If I ever write you into a Crimson Pen, that will be your armour."

Cryosanthia opens the book that Sabina delivered, glancing into it and moves back around the table to the bench she's been freezing. She settles, able to look more directly at the human and says, "We have further interactions with the Fae Nobility planned. They will not be pleasant. The Queen of Air and Darkness favors gifts of Pain. Physical, emotional, or psychological. Ancient warriors would start wars in her name to gain a favor."

She cups her chin in both hands and stares at the peacock familiar, "Well, Tarien is the one of Jokes, yes? Something flashy for your peacock, that suggests spectacle and the stage, perhaps? Limelight, Dr. Ingenius? Magnificent?"

Faranmidahn smiles and dips slightly in a slow little curtsey, almost comically looking up again as she hopes not to dislodge her new familiar, "A pleasure, Miss Sabina. I'm Faranmidahn Waywalker, spider-rider and sorceress." She glances at Cryo sheepishly, then back to Sabina, "I... wasn't sure about the customs surrounding familiars, but Cryo suggested Zephyr, and I liked it and I thought it could serve until she was able to choose." As the Sith takes to making suggestions for the bird, she opens her mouth a moment, but closes it again, letting her indulge her creative side.

Sabina barks a laugh, loud and happy. "Magnificent hmm?" She uses her hands as if to cover the birds 'ears'. "Don't go planting sugjestions like that or he'll demand to be called King instead. Or a even longer more grands name like, 'His grand Magnificence King Surpreme Feather.' " She laughs again and then sighs softly.

Looking from one to the other she nods slowly. "More unpleasantness. Well, I'm agaisnt unpleasant things, myself. I tend to hold my god's delight of party and laughter in high esteem" Blinking she removes her hands from the peacock and gets peck for her impertenence. She sticks her tounge out at the bird.

The white-scale sith smiles, watching the interaction. "Well as you know my name is Cryosanthia, and I have finally grown into it, though you may use Cryo as well. My title is Speaker of the Sith-Makar. I'm not the only one, there are other Speaker-Caste."

"Your familiar definitely seems suited to grand labels. Emperor perhaps? This one will not guess more, it is a private thing."

She rocks where she sits, getting her tail tucked in nicely underneath her, and waves at the other benches. "Sit if you like. There is a fresh pot of... well it was fresh before this one fell asleep. Do you like cold tea? I have just about made it through all these journals and lists."

Faranmidahn looks between the ladies, brightening a little, "Oh! Father used to speak of Ice Tea quite fondly!" She lifts a hand to her hair, and her familiar skitters onto it before she cradles her in her palms, gently stroking her shell with her thumbs as they approach the work table.

Bina's smile turns wry. "Well, I am up for tea cold or hot. Lists and journals not so much. Unless the hournal is a tawdry love story. Those I can read with glee for some unknown reason." She moves over to the table and joins Cryo and Faran, the peacock hopping down to the edge of the table and shuffling featheres about, canting an eyes at each person in turn. That so very judgemental eye.

"That's good. Ice tea is always available around me, it is the hot sort that is a challenge." Cryosanthia grins.

She gets up and moves around, distributing bowls and pouring tea into them. It smells of mint, has a light green colour, "This one will not make you jittery."

The teapot replaced, she takes her seat once more. "Funny you should say, one of the other Fae Royalty is the King of Light and Illusion. I am drawn to his name, but what I have been told of him is repulsive. He is mad, blames elves for his decline, would only treat with maidens willing to trade. This one had hoped he might enjoy the arts, a bawdy play, a jape, the Crimson Pen. It is unlikely so."

"And I've read all these so others don't have to." She spreads her arms to encompass the books on the table.

Faranmidahn hmmm's softly and, after carefully coaxing Zephyr into one hand, she lifts the other to give the bird a smile and a little finger wave before she looks between the two, blushing, "So.... you read those sorts of books, too...?" she asks in a tiny voice with a fidget.

Bina continues to smile wryly as the bird shuffles feathers again and head bobs as a return greeting. "Always courting the ladies.." She comments under her breath. "Yes I do enjoy reading them. I've enjoyed reading them aloud to a tavern common room too. /That/ was a rather fun night if I recall correctly. Many hoots and calls were made and a standing ovation." She giggles. "As for tea I could warm it with magic if you wish? Otherwise cold will be nice and a change." She leans in to smell the bowl and nods.

"Oh, go ahead. I can only make things cold. I've heard nice things of ice cream and plan to try making some once the summer hits." Cryosanthia says, smiling at Sabina, "Now I had not considered that sort of a performance! That would be enjoyable. I have written a few, they are a good challenge. I'll incorporate the idea it might be used as a scrip a little better next time."

Her tail swishes, she gestures at the maps on the table. "These show vampire attacks, demon appearances, citizen disappearances, and I've added strange magical occurances. There is no real pattern beyond being close to the cisterns of the Soldier's Defense and the one beneath the Temple. There is magical ooze in the water, and a friend, Elleandra is taking care of that soon."

Cryo leans around to tell Faran, "I don't have to put you in, but I'm sure you would be popular."

Faranmidahn frowns with some concern as she regards her little spider, but nods, bringing her cradling hands up to her shoulder. The arachnid scurries up somewhere under her hair and the lucht climbs up into a seat. She blinks, "Y-you read them -out loud-?" and her face takes to a brilliant rose. Squirm, wiggle, fidget... Cryo's offer cuts the strings on the halfling's jaw and she gapes for a moment at her friend, "Ah- haha... uh..w-what. M-me...?" Apparantly her cheeks can cast her detection spell, silently.

Sabina watches Faran's reactions and begins to giggle and then to laugh aloud. "Ah! Friend Faranmidahn Waywalker..you'll find that many a /big strong man/ has a fondness for a small woman they can try to take care of. And an exotic Lucht such as yourself fits the bill quite nicely." She waggles her brows and then nods in her most sagely way before the grin breaks the solem look.

A glance at the map of attacks and mention of monsters. "I heard about the vampire attack here in this temple."

How is it said? Speak of the devil, and he -or in this case, she- will appear. The druid pauses as she enters, taking a moment to see who is gathered here before intruding. She bears a carefully wrapped.. something in her right hand, and she's used her magical sleeves to change her garb. Today she opts for an opulent, blue dress. She has even paired with it a new ornament-earrings-and swapped out her usual sturdy leather boots for a pair of light slippers that wouldn't last at all in the wilds she calls home.

With purpose in every step, Eleandra makes her way to the table and lowers herself into a curtsey, "I hope you do not mind if I intrude. There is a matter of considerable importance and growing urgency that I wish to discuss." Her intensity is only somewhat tarnished by an apologetic smile towards Sabina.

"Of course!" Cryo grins at Faran in a way that is a little predatory, the effect assisted by having her mouth bound so it won't fall open. She looks like she's being refrained from snapping, "You're an inspiration, you fight Men and Monsters twice your size. Your spiders will tell you secrets, this will make you relatable to young girls that know things others don't understand. Not all, of course. An oruch would perhaps prefer it if you could punch through two brick houses in one blow, but some would find it yummy."

The mention of the vampire makes the sith sit back, a little less playful. "We were here. It was not pleasant. The developments after were worse."

"Elleandra!" Cryosanthia rises, making a curtsey as well, "This one has important news also to tell. You go first."

Faranmidahn doesn't quite curl up into a little ball, though she is probably considering it as Cryo explains her reasonings. Ahem, she shifts a little in her seat, but blinks slowly over toward Sabina, "Exotic....?" she parrots softly with a sort of odd note of wonder in her tone. The bubble pops, of course, on mention of the Vampire and she sighs, rubbing her cheek faintly. That cheek, "Yeah.... not a night of wonder, that." Though the interjection of, "Elleandra!" prompts a, "Hi! How are you?"

Bina blinks as Elleandra arrives. She offers a seated deep nod of her head in greeting along with a smile. A smile that slips at the mention of important news to be had. "I could leave you three to work if you wish? I do not wish to intrude not matter how much I may gossip in other places and times."

Elleandra answers Cryosanthia by setting what she has brought onto the table. Delicate lace is wound about it, and curled ribbons of many colors hold the entire thing closed. With a simple tug of a white ribbon the lace opens, each carefully cut piece folding out like the petal of a flower. In the midst of the package is a carefully carved piece of wood. A fancy laquer was put on it, causing it to gleam like polished stone. Across its surface a bold hand has written. Those that know Elly well will recognize the work of her lover, Kamaria.

"Elleandra and Kamaria request the joy of your company as they unite in marriage" is written in large golden script. The time and date are provided more clearly, in smaller lettering, below. Elleandra fidgets a little with her dress, watching Cryosanthia and Faran. "I hope you can come," she says rather abruptly.

"Oh yes! Of course! Elly! This one shall." Cryosanthia leaps over the table, which is not something that should be performed in a room like this. However she expertly clears it withou disturbing anything and lands solidly, then embraces the wild elf tightly, her tail sways quite strongly. The invitation sits like a giant blossom on the table. "That is wonderful news, that is a beautiful invitation. This one is happy for you both."

Faranmidahn looks to Sabina as she offers to leave them be, "Oh, no, Miss Sabina, you're no bother, we just-!" Then the package is set on the table and she breaks off. She looks up, "Can come...?" blink, and she looks to the package as it's opened, scanning the flowing script, adding to Cryosanthia's response with "Oh! That's wonderful! I'd love to!" If she isn't dead, being put to the question, or otherwise censured for her recent... troubles, that is. She doesn't mention those concerns, but it -has- been that kind of month.

Bina's eyes grow wider and then her smile joins in. Her hands come up and clap together in a shared joy. She's about to comment when Cryo jumps the table, causing the peacock to startle and give out it's cry and flutter away to the floor and a secluded cornor.

The Luckbringer stares about and then laughs softly, "Congradulations! May your union bring you eternal joy and laughter!"

Elleandra laughs as Cryosanthia wraps her up in a hug. She still has a bit of nerves, "I'm so happy you will be there! And of course all friends are welcome!" She hugs Cryosanthia back a moment later, as if just remembering her arms. "And thank you all, I finally asked her just two nights ago, and I nearly lost the ring in the forest." Part of the dangers of proposing in the dark of night under heavy cover of trees.

She looks to Faran and to Bina as well, "I'm so happy, and I really would like all friends, even those I just met, to come, if they have time. I understand there are traditions of gifts and that sort of thing, but we only want those who care to attend. We live simply and.. being surrounded by loving friends is more than we ever could have hoped for."

Cryosanthia continues her grin, and her tailsway causes her hips to waggle as well, "This one hopes luck in the other things you persue of that union."

She looks over at the peacock, "Oh shhhh, the spotlight will not always be on you Emperor Pantomime."

The sith returns her focus to the wild elf. As usual, it's hard to read her expressions, her face, drawn out and covered in scales, with horns and hard eyes makes her seem beastial. The careful grasp of her shoulders implies the affection and happiness. She tilts her head, "This one will be there. I would not miss! I shall think of a suitable gift. Would you wish your story performed? Sabina is excellent I hear."

Definitely a lot of teeth in her predatory grin.

Faranmidahn smiles warmly, if a little thoughtfully and nods, her eye flitting to Cryosanthia for a moment, mind wandering... After some seconds of that, her eyes bug some as she suddenly sits bolt upright, chin up with a wide mouthed gasp, "Ah! No no, that tickles!"

Sabina can't help but laugh at this peacock shaming and herself brought up as a reader of stories. "As a preistess of Tarien it is certianly my *ahem* duty to assist ina any revel I can. If I can make it I certianly will. And it would be my pleasure to read aloud ribald tales that assist the eve of the wedding." Another blink and turn of her head as Faran looses control of her own little friend and another laugh is given.

Elleandra lets out a deep sigh, and has to wipe at her eyes when she realizes, much to her surprise, that somewhere along the way she was crying. "Cryosanthia, will you.. maybe be a witness for our vows? It's okay if not, it's just.. you saved her life. You brought her back to me. And you have been like a sister. Now I suppose a big sister, but still.." Hopefully she doesn't look too big a mess. She was even wearing makeup for this occasion. She is as messy with happiness as possible. It was to be a 'solemn and serious invitation to a most auspicious event', but in the end, she's just a big old gushing baby in front of her friends.

She peeks over at Faran and smiles, "What's the matter, spider got ya?" she says teasingly, punctuating it with a sharp sniff as she struggles to compose herself. "Sorry, sorry. I would really be happy if you could make the eve.. better." That gets her blushing, on top of everything else.

"I... uh.. yes! Yes. Of course! This one would love to!" Cryosanthia is startled by the request, enough that she stands up straight. At her full height she is definitely the big sister in the room, a white tower. "It is a deep honour, I'm so very glad for you both. I will be there."

A small grin quirks at the side of her mouth, "I shall practice my staring. I will not blink the entire time. Everything shall be witnessed, nothing shall be missed."

She sinks down again, to hug Elly tightly once more and thumps her tail on the wall and the table, and then the floor. Several times on the floor, some sith-makar messaging going on.

Faranmidahn wiggles slightly, back arching, as she leans into the roll of one shoulder, then the other, "Ah! Zephyr...is.." she laughs a little and closes her her eyes as grips the edge of the table with her hands, "Ok! Ok!" she pants, then the apparant assault relents and she takes a few breaths to settle herself down, "She... started tickling me."

Sabina continues to laugh. There is much to have joy in here. Good news. Good friends sharing that news. And a troublesome tickling spider. Still she stands up slowly and her laughter slows into a warm smile. "Well. I feel as if I should leave you three to talk more about plans of weddings and friendship for now. That and my pesky friend Emperor Magnificent is telling me he's hungry and all this loudness is too much to bother with!" She rolls her eyes and looks at the peacock that lets out a shrill cry and hopes to her shoulder rudely. She grunts and rolls her eyes again before offering a wave. "May laughter line your hearts."

"Someday, Cryosanthia, I really must learn the meaning of the tail speak," says Elleandra. "In at least some of my forms perhaps I can learn to say hello." And hopefully she won't say something embarassing. She returns Cryosanthia's hug happily. She likes it, and there's a warmth to it that has nothing at all to do with temperature.

As Sabina leaves, Elly reaches out to brush her fingers against the back of the woman's hand. "Thank you! I hope you will be able to join us. I know we would be happier for it." She sighs happily and shivers, but not from cold, just emotion. "I've never had so many feelings at once," she admits softly. "But.... you said you had news for me, Cryosanthia. I would like to hear that now!" Still, Faran's spider dance is so fun to watch she can't help but turn to look briefly before returning her attention to the Sith-makar.

Cryosanthia curtseys to Sabina, "And you as well. This one hopes to meet again, and has tasks, so many tasks."

"You should grow a carapace like Torrent, then Zephyr would be unable." Her hips keep swaying, she reaches over and pickes up the laquered and smooth invitation, brings it close to her nose and inhales the scent.

"Oh yes! This one is not as well prepared as you are." Cryo sets the invitation back down in the flower wrapping, "Zeke has chosen me also, as cihuaa. This is often enough, but there are concessions to have a ceremony and witnesses. I feel I would invite all of Alexandria, then blood-relatives and clutch-mates from Am'Shere, then convince myself to scale back. You are always on the list, this one would have you come to see us. Faran is to be my witness. She has seen all of me."

Faranmidahn lifts a hand to lift a slightly breathless, "And yours, miss Sabina, be well!" She pants a few more times, and the little white coconut puff skitters out from under her hair now that the large predator is gone, and she gets a soft petting with a lacey fingertip for her effort, "There, now.... he wasn't going to eat you, sweetie..." She thinks. Then, to the ladies, she returns her attention, as talk of Cryo's own ceremony comes about. The lucht glances down to her shoulder as the little spider suddenly pivots thereuppon, leaving sorceress and familiar kind of staring at each other for the moment.

Elleandra gasps and straightens, her eyes going wide, and then tears. She hugs Cryo more tightly and says.. something. For her, it's like a dam has burst and joy is just pouring forth. It takes a moment. "I'm so happy for you," she manages at last. "Zeke is such a good man," she adds quickly. She doesn't mind that she's making a mess of herself.

"I am so happy for you, Cryo!" She bursts into a fit of giggles, bouncing on her toes like a child, "It's a joyful time. No darkness will steal this happiness from us." She directs her smile over to Faran and sees the sorceress looking at her tiny familiar. "Ohhhh, you two are so adorable," she whispers faintly. "It's been a time of bonding, hasn't it?"

"It is. They are quite cute." Cryosanthia says, looking over at the staring contest between the lucht and her familiar. She sits, looking up at Elleandra now, clasping her hands to hold. "It is a happy time, I have not set a date yet."

The white-scale sith woman exhales, straightens up. At this moment her age shows, her heavy horns, the new features on her face, the changes in her body structure, the size of her toe talons. Even her demeanor has a restrained power to it. "It till not be soon. I have been too long in the tower. The scents at Mictlan, so many other sith, so many younglings. I feel very deeply the time I've been away. I have to adjust, I find I'm uncomfortable around my own people. This will take some time, but I want the witnessing to be at the home-fire, in front of the ancestor dragon, so I need to work on my nerves not being so strong there."

"Plus, invitations and travel from Am'shere will take time, and those haven't been sent either. I've been doing this..." Cryo gazes at all the research notes laid out.

"I know, sweetie, thank you." the lucht says fondly to the smaller puff and gives her a little peck before she smiles toward Elleandra with a little blush, 'Thank you... I'm still getting used to feeling her... er, feelings.' She steps foward and reaches out for a hand each of the brides to be, 'The Hunter has blessed your search, and so do I... I wish you every happiness and joy.' This first she offers to Elleandra, then to Cryosanthia, 'Peace be upon your nest, may the Ancestor's blessing be upon the eggs, your Mate, and your offspring.' a dewy glitter in the eyes over her smile. <halfling>

Elleandra squeezes Cryosanthia's hands. "I know, you have been busy. My task is coming to a head soon, my friend. That is the reason for my urgency. I love Kamaria with all I am, and all I shall ever be. Before I do what must be done, I would give our story a moment of sublime joy, and.. leave something behind, just in case." Though she clearly is speaking of the potential of her own death, the fear that had been in her eyes when last she was here is gone.

"My prayer is that this is successful, and perhaps it shall take one worry from your mind. You have been through so much already." She looks thoughtful, including both Faran and Cryo in her considering look. "When next we meet, there is one more thing I must ask of you. Just in case. But for now, I will leave you both in joy. Peace be on your nests, and may the light of sun and moon guide the way in all the lonely places you must walk."

The sith woman nods, smiling and squeezing Elleandra's hands, "This one wishes you a bountiful success. A full nest has been on this one's mind also. I am, managing, each day to chip away at the feelings, they will not hold me forever. I am glad you are a good and patient friend, and apologize for being so lost in myself and my grief."

"I look forward to our next meeting and more wonderful news! I shall hopefully have advanced more at Mictlan, and have more to tell you as well. Peace on your Nest, safe travels home."

Faranmidahn smiles to Elleandra as she makes her valediction and she relinquishes the elfmaid's hand with a fond, "Walk softly in the Hunter's favored winds." and turns, at last to her belived friend, gazing up into her face, eyes thoughtful, but full of warmth and hope, "Come, let's square all this away before Aura comes in to a shambles and get some sleep. A bride to be needs her beauty rest, I hear..." Meanwhile, Zephyr has seemingly bepumpkinned herself on the lucht's shoulder in due dilligence.

That's one vote....

Cryosanthia yawns, immediately putting a hand to her chin. Two votes. She bobs her head, "Yes, let's not leave a mess for her." The palescale sith gathers the books and puts them in a study shelf. She collects all the bowls of tea and sets them on the tray with the teapot. Tailswishing, she strides out, to drop off the dishes and hit the bed. Some things never change.
