Inside, this two-story structure has been almost completely opened up. Generous windows on both stories allow daytime sunlight and cooling night breezes to flow in as needed, while the brick walls have been whitewashed - contrasting with the dark-stained beams and supports, and the rich polish on the wooden floor. A broad strip of stone runs from the entrance to a framed doorway set into the opposite wall, with a sign above the lintel declaring that the baths are to be found that way.

The ground floor is sprinkled with tables and chairs of assorted sizes, offering welcome to guests both large and small. One whole corner of the building - into which guests are not permitted entry - has been given over to the kitchen, which serves as the domain of the famed monster chef Ligum Serforus. Mundane meals are available, but the chef delights in offering up obscure dishes made from the freshest of monster ingredients.

Opposite the kitchen a small bar runs in front of an array of shelves, displaying a broad selection of beverages (most of them alcoholic). The bar-top has been fashioned from what looks to have been old pieces of armor, fused and welded together before being polished to provide a near-smooth finish. Set above it, three human-sized statues have been built into an alcove in the wall: Tarien, Rada and Ceinara jointly keep benevolent watch over the room and its occupants.

To the right of the entrance, a small stage offers a platform for a handful of performers at a time. To the left of the door, a spiral staircase of wrought iron winds its way up to a balcony dining area, that is chiefly reserved for special events and parties.

A certain behooded Goblin makes her way into the TarRaCe this breezy afternoon. The hood worn perhaps for shade more than warmth, given it's not especially chill out today. Either way, she sheds it, revealing long ears. She makes her way towards a table in the Pub, eyes darting this way and that- a seeming habit, given she rarely stops even once seated.

Toha is standing near one end of the stage, talking in Kulthian with one of the golems that provides musical ambiance for the guests. While neither are being overly empathic, within that boundry, the feminine construct is notably the more emotive.

After a moment, the shady-looking goblin gets a chance to order herself some food. She eyes the menu a while, allowing her eyes once more to to drift over this shoulder or that. The pair of... arguing? War golems draws her eye for a few more moments than many things, but they soon enough go back to the menu. She hands it off to the next server who comes her way, and then settles into her chair to wait for her meal. Peeking at the War golems once more, albeit furtively.

Toha taptaps her index and middle fingers against the palm of her other hand to punctuate whatever it is that she's saying. The movement off to the side, of the golin taking up residence in her peripheral prompts a slight pivot of that elflike head in that direction, then back again as her conversation partner, a golem studded with outlets of several brass instruments, nods, and the two clasp hands for a moment.

Business concluded, they separate, he with a polite, "Be well." and she with a folksy, "Have a good one!" before the musician proceeds back up onto the stage.

Toha, for her part, starts to make her way out of direct line of sight to the stage. She makes note of the goblin looking at her/them again, and she alters course to that table.

The goblin winces a bit as it seems like Toha is coming over to her table, shrinking a touch and busying herself examining the cutlery in an ateempt to appear innocuous- and as though she hadn't been staring at the pair of war golems. She doesn't quite start whistling, though she appears as though she might.

Toha, with fluid smooth strides closes the distance on what is almost a beeline, save some sidetepping waitstaff here and there. About arm's reach or so, her arm's reach, she glances over either shoulder and dips into a crouch beside the goblin's table as the music regains it's brass section.

"Hi!" she offers, a little cant to her head, looking up at the inspector's face.

Culix jolts as the War Golem arrives, and rather more suddenly she had expected to boot. "Oh, uh, hey there." The goblin offers then, peering back to the war golem for a moment. "Can I uh... help you?" she wonders then, playing dumb after being caught staring.

Toha cants her head a little the other way on the reply, "Oh, no, I was just wondrin if there was something ya needed." she replies, her shoulders giving a little rise and fall, "Or ya were just curious." for the effort put into the harmonics of her voice, she doesn't sound... mad?

"Oh, suppose the latter." Culix says then, one of her fingerclaws coming up to scratch at her cheek a little. "You didn't seem to be staff, so I s'pose I was wondering what a war golem was doing here... don't suppose you eat or take baths, is all, so I was a bit perplexed." she finally admits then, with a shrug of her shoulders.

"They look pleasant, but we get kinda gunky. I don't think they'd want us scrubbin down in the good bath water." Toha replies with another of those little shrugs, "I was just talking a commission with Pan, there." Her chin lifts toward the stage, then turns back toward the goblin, "I help my brothers..." her chin dips as she tries to choose a word, then up again, "Individualize. Most of us were built to pattern, we don't have yer variety, but as we grow as individuals... some of us wannna be recognizable as 'Bellows' or 'Cliff' or 'Peregrine' rather than 'Rune golem, artillery type' or 'Myrrish Scout model'."

"I don't have a shop... and Pan is usually found here, I'm sorry if we were distractin."

Culix ohs a bit at that, "I don't know that they'd mind, they had an oruch in there the other day who I reckon was at least two thirds mud by weight." she replies to the war golem, tilting her chin to indicate the entrance to the baths. "Oh so like. Addons. Mods. That sorta thing? Guess it makes sense. Like us fleshy folks getting a tattoo or a haircut."

Toha cants her head a little again, "Really?" she asks with some surprise, "Most I known would scrub down now an then." Shrug, "Go figure." As the goblin gloms onto the idea, she nods, "Yep! Faceplates, inlays, etchings and the like, fer the most part."

Culix nods her head again, wrinkling her nose, "Used to live in a storm drain was cleaner than the water after he'd been in it." she comments on the topic of a particularly filthy Oruch in the bath. Her food finally arrives, lampreys roasted on sticks. She takes one and bites the head right off it, munching away with pointy chompers. "Guess it makes sense." she says, pausing to swallow her mouthfull of food, "At least as much sense as jewelry or fancy clothes and the like. Can you swap 'em out depending on your mood?" she wonders.

Toha gives an almost musical little giggle and nods, "Glad I wasn't there fer that, but mebbe I'll ask around, thanks!"

She looks to the waitstaff a moment, but back to the goblin, "depends on our design. I can change plates pretty fast, but most of us don't have the same anchorin systems I do. With a couple tools and a little time, we can usually replate fer a special day or wahtever."

Thinking on it a sec, she offers her hand the Goblin's way, "I'm Toha, by the way, it's nice ta meetcha!"

Culix huhs, and she rubs her neck a bit, "Wish it were that easy to just swap out out decorations." she grumbles, but then nods her head, "Culix." she offers, in return when the name is offered. "Nice to meet you too, I s'pose." she says then, before taking another bite from the long skinny roasted fish on a stick she holds in one hand.

Toha nods, then closes her hand and returns it to her side, "Well, anyway, I got work ta do. Enjoy yer dinner, now!" With that, the golem rises to her feet and turns to make her way doorward under her original parameters.

CULIX
This goblin stands on the shorter side, even for her usually diminutive people. She has slightly wavy black hair with a high hairline, which reaches down a little way past her shoulders, although it is usually pulled back into a high, tight ponytail. Her eyes are large and wide, but still look beady thanks to very dark, almost black, irises. Her nose is smallish and the tip is upturned, and sports only one small wart on the left hand side. She has thin lips around a wide mouth full of pointy teeth. Her pointed ears are rather large, the tips drooping a little with the weight of silver rings pierced through them.

Her physique is very wiry, not much in the way of fat or muscle mass, but plenty of tone. She is long of limb (for her height) and slender, with large hands and feet. Each of her fingers is long and dextrous, perfect for playing piano, or picking pockets, and tipped with a pointy little claw.

She wears a white cotton short-sleeved blouse, which is trapped beneath an under bust corset and buttoned on the front. The bottom of the blouse escapes the bottom of the corset, and partially overlaps a leather belt about her hips which sports all manner of pouches, a couple of frogs which hold daggers, and a purse tightly strung. Her legs are encased in tight tanned leather, laced on the side, and her feet in soft-soled boots of the same.

She often wears a hooded woollen cloak over the top, pale grey, and fastened under her chin with a simple pin. In addition to the two daggers on her belt, she sports two more tucked into sheaths hidden in her boots.

TOHA
This particularly feminine Golem stands about six foot two from crown to toe; built, or modified, to an eccentric level of detail. Between the sculpting of blued steel plates bordered with rose gold scrollwork, and an interwoven mesh of studded black leather straps, the contours of a woman are given form.

An intricate silver band dotted with gems the color of blood and autumn separates the blued steel of her crown from a burnished faceplate (and ears)of sinister, elven structure; with fine, almost invisible nutcracker seams to either side of a stern mouth, while under etched brows, what comfort would be afforded by meeting 'eyes' is instead usurped by the thin slit of darkness that cuts straight across the delicate nose at the bridge like a visor. A train of arm-length whips capped with rose gold spills over her shoulders and spine from the back of her head in a passable facsimile of hair.

She speaks with the Oruch tinged accent of Dran, though with a bold, contralto voice that could shift from cheerful to wicked with equal clarity.

Several eyelets trailing short chains dot her narrow waist, from which hang assorted hardened leather pouches for various goodies, from others; a compass, and a heavy Oruch style longsword. Others such anchor the baldric of a massy greatsword to her back with enough play to draw, yet another holds what should be some form of dragonspitter, while at the small of her back rests a vaguely can shaped contrivance of blackened steel.
