  • Summary: Zeke and Seyardu are attending to Cryosanthia's recovery, when she gets a visitor. She asks the other two sith'makar if a person is really there, as she sees someone she believes died years ago, both for her and the world. Someone is, and it is that someone, the Sith who lived. Boaz, or Vathasitha as Cryo calls him, is from the same village and was on the same failed mission as Cryosanthia. He was tortured, driven to rage, and used as shock troops in Charn before being left for dead, injured further, and taken in by dwarves. The whitescale is overjoyed to see her dusky goldenscale clutch-mate, even if she apologizes too much for what went wrong. Her chess game with Seyardu is forgotten as she catches up with her lose scale-sibling. She explains her injuries from the Sea of Mana, and her time with the Queen of Endless Winter, and the time twisting she experienced that snared her cihuaa, Zeke, as well. Cryo promises to show Vathasithas, or Boaz as he is now known, around as soon as she can without causing an adventure in the streets.

The temple of the Sun Lord glitters golden beneath the same. Rather than walls, the majority of the temple is composed of what appears at first blush to be a raised round platform made of one of the largest slabs of marble likely in existence. Columns rise into the air as if to hold some massive ceiling, though instead of a normal ceiling, one finds the deep blue sky, studded by a disconcertingly close canopy of bright stars. One should not worry, however, as the rain never falls, and the wind never blows on this particular temple, but for a gentle breeze, whatever the weather outside may be.

Despite the austerity of the columns, warmth suffuses the grounds. A grand, marble statue of the Shining Knight stands a the center, a hand outstretched in benediction. Beside Him, the statue of Althea, their hands clasped in love. The central position of the temple to the others gives view to all of their children, and the two look upon one another with the solemnity of love that has been the center of so many tales and legends.

Masterfully designed mana lamps provide further soft, golden lightning where needed, their pedestals carved in the form of the Dragons of Light, over which Daeus is said to have dominion in His form of Draco Solis. Majesty, justice, and welcome suffuse the temple grounds. Around the central temple are a series of smaller buildings, each with a simple function and form. One houses the sacred book depicting some of the earliest known translations of the Laws of Light, which pilgrims from near and far come to visit. Another houses the well-appointed quarters of the Sunguards, and among all the ground bristle the Sunblades.

The Temple of Daeus, Cryosanthia's room in one of the complex's building.

She is recovering, her side has healed there are scales there again, revealed after another molt. Those are happening slower. The nethercite seems to be doing something, she's reported her tail and wing are itching.

Whether that's a good sign or a bad sign is unclear. They look much the same.

Cryo sleeps a lot. A sedative tea helps with that. At some times she seems to be in some sort of lucid dream, today the lucidity has gone all the way and she's awake. There has been a lot of staring at the wall.

There are the common things in the room with Cryosanthia which bespeak Zeke's presence. Namely the tea which sits beside her bed. It's gone cold now, but Zeke expects a replacement for it at nearly any moment, and thus hasn't gone wandering off in look for it. Instead he sits at her bedside, looking if not fantastic, then at least somewhat more rested than he has previously. He holds Cryosanthia's claw in both of his.

Seyardu slept in the temple of Daeus. Stuck around to help others sleep. And of course there was the ever present task of caring for Cryosanthia. She had a few things in the room, namely a comfortable stool to sit in, and a papers and writing tools on a table off in a corner. This day, with Cryosanthia more awake, she had set up a chess board near the bed, hoping the game would help her take her mind off things, even if she may have needed to move the pieces herself.

There is a polite knock on the doorframe, a pause and then enters a stranger. A golden sith with one arm and one leg replaced. In his real golden hand he holds a steaming tea-pot, careless of the heat. One the tall one enters he stands in the doorway as if stuck. His scent is of shock and agitation that mixes with the smell of oil that he uses apon his unnatural limbs. His tail ripples with his conflicting thoughts and emotions. "That one there is.. Cryosanthia? Is it true?" He asks the two other sith in the room. "This one.. This one is.." at a loss for words. His painfully deep voice rumbles in his chest as he speaks.

"Knight to black pawn four." Cryo says, as there is a knock and an opening door. She turns her head to see who has entered. She startles, jerking her neck, stares. She closes her eyes, inhales, tasting and just ... sensing. Her eyes open again. The goldenscale has her undivided attention, she addresses the other two without looking at them.

"Zeke... Seyardu. Did someone just come through the door? This one is seeing one of her clutch-mates. This one is also seeing Lily, in the corner playing with her Erector set. I know she's not real because no one is reacting to her."

She sounds very controlled, uncertain and confused, and sad, "... am I seeing more things? He looks like a combination of you Zeke, with Vaera and Asmli and Merek and that gnome with the mithril limbs, and... someone that died, because of me."

The sound of knocking has Zeke rising to his feet carefully but promptly. He turns toward the door and pauses at the sight of the other sith-makar. Zeke's own crystal limbs catch in the light, his left arm and leg both beautiful, resplendant things which seem quite natural at his side. He moves toward the other sith, but then pauses at Cryosanthia's words. "He isss real Cryosssanthia." He looks at the other male, then nods formally. "Thisss one isss called Zeke, and thisss one is Cryosssanthia'ss cihuaa. Come in, ssset the tea down. Ssshare wordsss with usss."

Seyardu moves the aforementioned knight to sweep her own piece off of the board. "A good move, Cryosanthia." She replies with a puff of air, moving one of her own pieces in turn to threaten the encroaching knight.

"River Stone came to visit you the other night with me, but you were fast asleep. He is not here now, but I promised to bring him back another time, when you are awake." She offers, not poking at the phantom in the corner of the room. Instead she turns her attention to the real arrival, a single hand raising as her tail thumps once against the ground, gentle so as not to jostle the game pieces. 'Peace on your nest, and thank you for the tea. You have come to see her? you are welcome." She greets.

The golden one blinks at Zeke and then Seyardu. His smell settling into something numb and near blank. He look at Cryo again and belated introduces himself. "This one is Vathasithas. The soft skins call me Boaz." Moving slowly he crosses the room and sets the steaming pot next to the one that is cold with exaggerated care. Then the golden scale offers a small bow of greeting in dwarven fashion to both Zeke and Seyardu. Then Cryo has his attention again. "Is Cryosanthia? But so different. Older.. larger. And wings. What has happened?" He settles down to the floor near the bed. His height allowing him to still see and be seen clearly. Metal leg clicking on the stone floor.

Cryosanthia stares at all that glitters and flashes. Her mate, in beautiful blues, her clutch-mate in a golden collage of metallics. She stares at Vathasithas like he's a ghost, which in a way he is. His presence contrasts with her memory of him, from over eighty years prior. He is older by a few years, has a lot more scars, limbs of artifice.

"Vath? Vathasithas? It's really you?" Her hand goes to her throat. She sits up and turns, with her blanket slipping free. She is bigger, more muscular, cat-like in frame. Her hand is a wicked looking talon and the pouch she is reaching for is not there.

"Oh my scales! You're alive! You're alive! This one is so glad to see you! What happened?" Cryo looks at Zeke, "did you plan this? A surprise to cheer me up? Did you know?"

Zeke waits for the other male to settle down before sitting, and then he is almost immediately again on his feet as Cryosanthia sits up. "Cryosssanthia. Lay down. You forget that you are not well." He is gentle with his words, trying to calm her lest she hurt herself in her excitement. "Thisss one did not know, but thisss one isss glad to ssee you cheered by hisss presscence."

He looks at Vathasithas, a wry expression on his features. "Ssshe hassss been changed by magic and time. Much hasss happened ssince the lassst you two ssshared wordsss, thisss one imaginess." He shakes his head and returns his attention to Cryosanthia. "Would you like sssome of the tea he brought Cryossanthia?"

"This one is called Seyardu, Vasathithas." The silver sith-makar replies as they cross the room, dipping their head in acknowledgement of the bow. She seemed happy to see them, with the effect it had on Cryosanthia. "You are one known to her already? This one had no part in any plans, but is pleased regardless." She adds herself. Though she wanted to get them to sit down, she settles for moving the pillows to support her sitting up, and adjusting the blanket to cover her again. "From what I heard, much happened, and there are others betrer suited than I to explain. But it is still Cryosanthia, yes."

Boaz's scent spikes to pleased beyond measure. He barks a laugh and his tail thumps against hte floor at the same time. "Passing of fate! This one was here to ensure his health was good. He who gave me these limbs made this one promise to do so two to four times a year. This one was leaving and heard Cryosanthia's name spoken and.. and had to see." His golden hand reaches out palm up. "Tis good to see you, clutch-mate."

Cryosanthia lies down again, as directed, looking between Zeke and Seyardu before her eyes are fixed on Vathasithas agin. her head follows him as he kneels near. She mirrors his motion, pressing her talon-hand against his palm. Hers is bigger. She laughs, "And you! Oh Vath, it's a long story, stories. So many things! This one has likely bored everyone with them already and doesn't know where to start."

The whitescale... dragon, for that is what she appears to be and smells like, breathes, gathers some thoughts, checks on Lily, looks back and says, "What placed me here was a battle with a Void Entity in the Sea of Mana. It sounds crazy! I know! We all got so sick! Throwing up and... Zeke can explain symptoms. I'll explain the rest later, I promise."

Pulling her hand back, she lies completely, head still turned. "This one wants to know what happened to you! How did you get a khazadi accent, is that from your second sire, along with the limbs? The village we grew up in is destroyed! Not in a bad way, the river moved so they moved, but Jump-Rock is gone, Hot-Rock, Hide-Free tree, all gone. You must tell us, how, how you lived?"

Zeke is so pleased that Cryosanthia is happy that he can (almost) ignore her hallucinations. That fact bothers him though, and so he smells faintly of worry which he can not control. He tries to emit calmness, but one can not control one's scent in the end. Still, for the moment he returns to sitting, relaxing by inches at Cryosanthia's side and chuffing at her excitement. "Thisss one hardly thinksss he will have much interessst in hearing ssuch from thissss one Cryosssanthia."

Seyardu was pleased, yet also not. A selfish notion that made the sadness grow slightly with the dissapointment in herself. But seeing everyone happy, Seyardu smiles, gathering up the chess pieces at the table. "The temple of Althea is usually good for healing, but this one is glad still you chose to come here due to the results. This one, should probably leave you to your reunion, however."

Boaz nods slowly to this news of the village movement. "This one could not find it when this one went back. It now makes sense." He looks to Seyardu and bows his head to her, moving his large frame as much as he can to make room for her to pass if she desires. "This one.. You wish to know of the past? You remember the day of the attack, Cryosanthia. We were caught quickly and well. This one awoke in a cage barely bigger then self." His scent changes to one of sadness tinged with long settled anger. Like ashes wetted by the rain. "They kept this one and others in such cages. Prodding us all. Starving us and then tempting with flesh of the fallen. Of the People. Beating us and inciting the rage."

"This one was in the cage for.. months? And then they unleashed what we had become on the battlefield. I raged that day and lost this arm. Almost lost this one's life."

"I woke and left the battlefield in a haze. I raged all the time. Ate and slept as a wild thing. Seasons passed. This one stumbled across a bear in the rain. It attacked this one and though this one killed it, it took my leg. I gave up then, but was found days later by a party of dwarves." He chuffs a near chuckle. "This one imagines said dwarf would have a fit if he heard himself be called this one's second clutch-father. More the soft skins' term for clutch-mate. Brother? Yes.. brother."

"He helped this one recover and gave me limbs."

Cryosanthia does not react to Zeke's concern regarding her hallucinations. She senses the shift in scents, if anything she makes thrumming noise to relax him. She replaces her hand in his and squeezes it, whispering, "I'm ok."

Vath's story has her attention, and she nods slowly as he relays the events she remembers and then the ones she was not present for, after. "This one was experimented upon by a magus." A grimace and a glance at Zeke when eating flesh of the people is mentioned, another at the dark goldenscale when he describes raging, and falling. "Nest-father seemed fitting for one that remade you to a new life, but clutch-mate, scale-brother is understood to be better."

"I'm so glad you're alive Vath," Cryo sighs heavily, "so glad. I have your scale, everyone's scale with me. I've been striving to bring them back. Rocky, River Stone is. This one was given a great reward by the Temples and called him back from waiting by the River. He has been a comfort, and hope. This one had planned to seek them again, once I got back, but plans went awry."

She looks at Seyardu, "This one has a scrying scroll, to seek your brother too. I got it with the others I bought before I went to the Sea."

The comment about flesh eating gets a reaction not only out of Cryosanthia but Zeke as well. The blue-scaled sith goes very still, his bearing that of a warrior that has perhaps seen one too many battles. Or whom understands a horror too well to be comfortable. He slowly relaxes as Cryosanthia speaks however, and says nothing on the matter, nor does he interrupt to add commentary himself. If anything he seems wholly satisfied to remain silent and observant of the conversation.

The silverscale was standing up, and lingered to listen to the story, feeling out of place and intrusive.

"Did you see any silver scaled Makari?" she asks suddenly, but then she falls silent, backing out of the room more. Only when Cryo looked over and spoke up did she pause.

"You, got a scroll to find my brother? Those are expensive, you did not need to do that." She replies with a sigh. "But, thank you, Cryosanthia. This was. kind of you to do."

Cryo warbles in a reassuring way at Zeke again, once more squeezing his crystal hand. Sapphire eyes meet emerald ones, "Hot water is. Would you make this one some tea, and wash my head?"

"Did you mean me, Seyardu?" She say suddenly, interrupting and looking over at the silverscale, "there was a silver with this one. I never saw him. He sounded older. I never saw him. I know his legs were removed. We would talk. He would make jokes to cheer me up. He was another experiment but I don't know what for, maybe to make his tail grow longer. I couldn't... I couldn't believe how cheerful he always was."

"He said we only have control over how we face things, not the things we must face. He was being cheerful for me, because... we were helpless." The palescale is not sounding as happy as she was moments ago, her thoughts drifting and dragging her down. Still on stage Cryo. She inhales sharply, seems to perk up. "This one doesn't think it's your brother, this one is not sure he was even real. I couldn't find him to free him when I escaped though... something could have happened."

"Anyhow... this got the scroll for other things too Seyardu, don't worry about it. I have a lot of scrolls. And this one apologizes Vath, it was your story and this one took over to talk about me again."

Boaz shakes his head and raises a hand to forstall Cryo's appology. "That was the short version of this one's story. It covers the important bits. Things look to be that they should be about you. Cryosanthia. Wounds and changes that are current and need seeing to." He then turns to Seyardu. "this one is sorry but I have not seen a silver scale other then yourself in some time. This one.. remembers there was a silver in the cages along side this one at some point but.. the memmory is not clear."

Zeke shifts his tail back and forth, a sign of amusement at Cryosanthia's excitement. He pours her some tea however, happy to have something positive that he can do for her. "It would be thisss onesss pleasssure." He murmurs the words, so as to not interrupt the ongoing conversation. A small straw is retrieved so that she does not need to move to get to the drink. While it cools, he pours some hot water onto a washcloth, and sets to quietly buffing the scales on her head.

Seyardu blinks and sighs, shaking her head. "This one meant the question for Boaz, but your response is appreciated, Cryosanthia. This one forgets sometimes about your age prior, but perhaps it would have fit the frame." She admits, leaning against one of the walls. A brow raises, hope, then worry, and concern.

"This one hopes they were not Cryosanthia. If they were with you Boaz, that worries me. to think, being in a cage so long..."

She trails off and shakes her head. "Another time, when you are well Cryosanthia. This one spoke with Braelnoir, and she mentioned the arcane dungeons when she was transformed. This one was going to suggest a visit there, before healing your wings. Feeling sensations in them is a good sign."

Cryo makes a happy 'wrrrp' noise as Zeke scrubs her head. She leans into it, pressing with her forehead. She takes sips when she can. "The Sea was bad, Vath. We lost one before we got there and another there, to things that if they touched you, you vanished."

Her eyes snap open, fix on the bluescale, then the silverscale. "That... is not a place of good memories. It's place of really bad memories. This one does not want to go. This one will need a lot of tea if she does." The kind that puts you out.

The palescale looks at the other Makari, one at a time, returning to Seyardu, "Sensation is good, then? They aren't going to have to be cut off. You are... both very handsome, Zeke, Vath, but this one does not want moonstone limbs..."

Boaz's scent blips like a heartbeat as he notes Cryo's somewhat erratic behavior. He takes a calming breath, one used to quelling the rage within. His scent mellows closer to normal as he looks to both Zeke and then Seyardu. "This one is not urging crafted limbs for any being. The process is often painful. The loss certainly so." Yes.. keep the conversation neutral.

"Ssshe isss doing better." Zeke offers to the other male sith-makar, in a way that may or may not be comforting. "Ssshe hasss sssuffered much of late, and isss sstill on the mend. Thusss the reassson we are here." He does not cease his care of the female while he talks, rubbing the scales to a high polish, itching the sensitive skin around her horns and other places of note which only a sith-makar is aware of. He is diligent in his removal of small scales which might perturb her, putting them all off to the side and returning to his buffing.

"This one is metallic enough already. But if anything were to happen, this one could live with it." Seyardu adds herself. "But being out completely, it would be best not to be, so any reaction could be monitored. I understand a desire not to be there, but I want you to be better, Cryosanthia. It would not have to take long."

She looks at the two male makari, and nods. "You both do look nice, it is true. Why do you need to visit for a check up though, Vath? Is there something with how it attaches?"

The rubbing sensations relax her, as does the scale cleaning. Hers are still a dirty grey, not her former colour, and not a reassuring granite pattern to them either. Cryo keeps still, feeling Zeke's touch, the sensations on her skull, the weight of her horns.

"Yes, is that the case? This one is uncertain and thought you might be visiting your brother, for his health. This one has softskin kin also, Vath, as does my cihuaa. Were you accepted into the Khazadi family, learn all their celebrations?" A sudden perkiness strikes her, "Were you invited to a velvet... no, they would not have asked a male to participate. Other holidays? Good drinking songs? Do you have a strong opinion on beer now, or calzones?"

Anything to avoid considering... that place.

Boaz is about to answer Seyardu when Cryo adds in a slew of fresh questions. It makes him chuckle and then rumble a bass note deep in his throat. "Always with the many questions. Some things have not changed." His rumbling stops and he answers the questions one by one. "Tharston. He who I would claim as brother. His knowledge of artifice was great but his knowledge of the flesh body lacking. Where metal meets scale he worried that too much irritation would happen. That scale and flesh would become damaged. Thus the checks." And then to Cryo, "This one celebrated holidays with the band that found me in the wilds. Beer is now understood but I would rather mead, ever to the shame of Tharston. This one was still trying to learn their tongue when I arrived in the city so no songs have been learned, saddly. This one is unsure what a calzone is."

He gives Zeke a nod to let the other male know his words where recieved.

Zeke glances toward Seyardu and has the grace to smell... embarrassed by the complement about his looks. Indeed, in spite of how the sith often views himself he is a very handsome sith-makar and his crystal limbs only add to his features - not detract. Yet the complements, from his cihuaa and elsewhere do embarrass him and he doesn't comment on them. Focusing on his task at hand and acknowledging the other male's nod with his own. He continues buffing, stopping only to re-add water to his cloth and when at last he has completed his task. "Would you like your tea now Cryosssanthia?"

Seyardu knew that the topic was changed for now, but she would have to address it eventually. One of the unfortunate parts of being a healer. So she stops and listens, nodding a bit to the questions and stories.

"This one knows little about the Khazad. There is one I know, a druid who tends to keep to the forests. But otherwise, this one knows little. Some alcohols are surprisingly nice."

She looks to Zeke and chuckles. "Apologies, I did not mean anything by the compliment. I shall leave such to Cryosanthia."

Cryo chrrrrrs, making tiny growling noises of satisfaction as Zeke works on her scales, answering once he is done, "Yes, please, this one wants tea."

"I'll take you to get a Stone Calzone Vath, soon, when I can walk the streets without causing an adventure. It's a meal wrapped in bread the Khazadi miners eat around here. It's nice. Messy. Messy nice. I know some good places to drink too, and swim."

There's another rumbling at Zeke, "the Tornmawr has some great spots this one will tell you about."

The palescale smiles at Seyardu, wobbling her head a little, nudging towards Vathasithas, she takes on a teasing tone, "you don't have to stop complimenting him. He's available... this one knows all his embarrassing stories from when we were younglings."

Boaz does an all too human..or Khazad, face palm. Comeplete with meaty smack of palm to scales. "Ahhhh! Not even a hourglass of time and Cryosanthia threatens this one with embarrassment in story. And not so subtle making of matches!" He rattles out a breathy sigh. "Tell another story, scale-sister. Tell of how the Cryosanthia I knew became old enough to be a grand damn of our tribe."

"It isss all-right Sseyardu, thisss one issss ssimply unusssed to it." He nods kindly to her, and puts the cloth to the side so that he can pick up Cryosanthia's tea. He holds it for her so that she can drink it as she tells her story to the male sith-makar sitting on the floor, his expression eveneing out in preparation for what the female has to say. It is a story that he knows well enough himself, and knows is no easy telling for Cryosanthia.

This time it was Seyardu's turn to be embarrassed as she shakes her head. "Honestly, Cryosanthia. This one has too much on their mind to even think about such considerations. And this one has met them for _several minutes_, and does not even know what he looks like!" She rattles off, shaking her head with another puff of air. "And how can you even make such a statement when he just showed up here? Unless this is something you can tell this one cannot. Regardless, ah, apologies. Cryosanthia can explain it to you, if she wishes, and does not wish to embarrass us further."

Cryo startles, then snorts. "This one is hardly a gran-dame. This one has just started her second century, not her third or fourth! This one could hardly count herself a clutch-mate if she was not setting you up and tripping you." She smells very amused, and relaxed.

"So, as you are not going to let me skip over that, this one will tell." Cryo falls into story mode. She raises her left talon-hand as if she's about to cast, and then places it down again. Big inhale, steels herself, "It was a few years later, after Charn. This one wasn't much older than you remember me, that this one made another grave mistake. This one volunteered to go with an entity this one... thought could be reasoned with. To save the city from a great plague. This one believed I was a better Speaker than I am, that this one could reach her. She was beyond that. She was a Fae Queen, who took this one to another wintery realm for a human lifetime, then took my cihuaa for the same time."

"Zeke was looped on me, and me before him, and she knew to take us before we ever met her. A few weeks here, decades, almost a century there."

Cryo shrugs, "This one remembers only one series of events but is convinced there must have been more. She had a circle that could send herself through time, would often met herself, and some events only make sense if what transpired was a reaction to something earlier that was caused to now never happen. I get a tremendous headache thinking about it."

She stretches her neck out on the bed, sighs, "some things never change, this is true. This one still leads others into peril."

"But I'm getting smarter!" There's a cheerful tone, but she's hardly happy.

Boaz is silent while he works through this confounding story. While not dense, the subject matter is difficult enough to make him close his eyes and replay her words in his mind. Fey Queen seems to make all the other things irrelevant. Or more like it makes the other things understandable. And then he catches hold of some of her last words. "Leading into peril. Are you speaking of Charn, Cryosanthia? Do you somehow believe it to be your fault?" He snorts in derision. "As if anybeing could have known what was to come!"

Zeke sits there holding the tea, his expression grave and his scent that of a ship without wind in its sails. Calm. But the calm of something that is meant to be in motion. He subtly shifts the tea a little, hoping that the scent of it will catch Cryosanthia's attention. "Ssshe blamessss her-ssself for many thingsss which are not her doing." He says simply, no reproach, but rather tired truth.

The story was one Seyardu had heard segments of before in various forms, but still had not heard it fully. It was a good chance to shake off the embarrassment and listen, and finally she returns to the stool.

"It all sounds hard to believe, yet this one knows it true." The silverscale nods. As the others talk, she leans back. This was something the others should reassure about.

"Yes Vath, Charn, this one cannot escape it." Cryo says, sounding excited in a bad way. This one was convincing, do you not remember? The fight was avoidable. She cuts herself off, "This one... remembers everyone, this one hopes to undo that mistake."

"That one, the Fey Queen. Lily..." She takes the straw and slurps all her tea down. The scent did find her, "More please Zeke, and apologies Vath... this one did not intend to depress you."

"There are more things to tell, many more, but not for now." She is shaking her head slightly, "few are good memories. This one does not like to speak of them, the re-telling becomes... celebrating it. This one is happy when it has slipped her mind."

The golden scale gets up from his seat with a chuffing sound and moves closer to the bed, scent prickly with mild irritation. He leans over the bed without getting into Cryo's space, mindful that she is very sick but wanting to make sure his face is clearly seen by her. "Cryosanthia. This one does not, nor has ever thought the ill fated assault was your fault. Do you hear me? Do not diminish those that fell nor yourself by believing so." A snort and he backs away , tail coming close to hitting the others. This causes him to remember himself. "Appologies." He says to Zeke and Seyardu. Then further to Seyardu. "It sounds very tale-like. But this one remember enough fireside tales to know that anything is possible for the Fey of power."

Zeke makes Cryosanthia another cup of tea. Getting liquid into her is good, but he is careful to dilute the second cup with water so that she doesn't drink too much of the herbal tea meant to make her sleepy. "Thisss one can confirm that the woman wasss... unusssually powerful. Able to move through time and many other wondersss that thisss one sstill can not explain." He offers the tea to Cryosanthia, his scent approving. He is grateful for the golden male's words, and hopes that Cryosanthia will abide them. "Sssshe will likely be getting sssleepy sssoon. The tea holdsss a good ssseditive in it."

GAME: Seyardu rolls reflex: (4)+2: 6

Seyardu was listening to all that was being said. It took most of her attention, and only at the last moment did she see Boaz turn around. Even if it was not quite close enough, it was enough to make the silverscale jump slightly.

And the back of a foot hooks the bottom of the stool, taking it out from under her, sending the cleric tumbling to the ground with a soft thump.

Thankfully she rises quickly, rubbing her back and tail. "This one, met them before. Their mere presence was enough to freeze over the harbor." She says after a few grumbles. "Hopefully Cryosanthia will get some good rest."

"Rrrrrf?" Cryo says, raising her head as Seyardu slips and trips, then lies back down. She faces Boaz, a much older, much more draconic version of herself but so much remains as his memories. "This one... will add your words to my memory. Thank you for sharing them."

"It is... fantastic. It is still possible to meet some involved. The Wee-Queen still visits a friend of this one." Another heavy sigh, "meeting her is wonderful and aweful at the same time."

She murmurs, "This one will not forget Endless Winter." She drinks the second cup, draining it also.

Boaz makes a startled smell as Seyardu falls and then gets up quickly. He makes a motion as if he might try to assist her but stops himself and draws himself up to his full height. "This one will try never to meet the one you speak of." Another nod to Zeke as he speaks of the tea. "This one should take his leave. Allow Cryosanthia rest. But I will return on another day if allowed."

"You are welcome here." Zeke says gently to the golden-scaled sith. "You have brought her rare joy, and it would be a pleasssure to have you back in the hopesss you might again." Zeke shifts his tail back and forth at the other male. "It wasss a pleasssure alssso to meet you."

The silverscale rubs her back some more as she takes the stool and flips it upright to sit back down on with a puff of air. "Apologies, my eyesight is not the best. I did not mean to startle." She says with an apologetic look and scent.

"Thank you for coming, it was good to see Cryosanthia so happy today. You are welcome to come back another time, certainly."

And there was another look to Zeke. "If Cryosanthia is resting, you should as well. despite my recent fall, I will be fine."

"Yes. It was wonderful seeing you Vath. This one is, overjoyed. This one has so much to show and tell once I'm better. We might even make it to a play. I'm in a band too. Well, I hope I still am it's been a while. This one has many friends for you to meet, and you really should bring fruit for Seyardu. She gives so much, no one reciprocates." Cryo says.

Well, that's what she intended to say. With the sedative in the tea hitting, what she vocalizes is actually quiet murmurs, undercut with a happy trilling noise in her throat. Buoyed by the conversation and company, her mood is as good as it could be under the circumstances, and her cheerfulness is not entirely faked.

"Mrrm rmmmr mrrrm rmmm mmm rrm mrrr." She's so deep Cryo isn't even sure what she's attempting to say now.

Boaz
A Sith-Makar of a dull golden color and male by the looks and shape of his body. He stands right at seven foot tall and has a good deal of wieght to his muscled frame. His eyes are set deep into his skull, protected by ridges of scale and bone. Small to medium spikes of bone line his scalp, jutting back a few inches each. The longest once perhaps four of five inches long.

His body is covered in scars of various types, speaking of a hard or unlucky life. Adding to this thought process are two prosthetics. His left arm and right leg have been remade in colored steel and move by artifice.

His arm is of a near silver color and his leg is tinged bronze.

He wears Khazad made scale mail and carries a long bow and arrows along with his traveling gear. A belt with pouches and a pair of daggers helps give him an even more martial look.

Zeke
This sith-makar has scales of a deep blue color, a touch dark particularly toward the extremities but still very clearly blue. Six large sweeping horns adorn Zekead, the forward two are more vertical but those after the first set follow the shape of Zekead with a little sway. There are small scars around the base of each horn, as well as around each claw. Their source seems to be self-inflicted and nearly decorative rather than caused by combat however.

Zeke wears a chain shirt mostly hidden under layers of robes in shades of white and light gray, and is usually hooded in a cloak of the same color. The robes are sheared short just around the hips and cover a pair of white kapri-style pants slit up the side of the leg and tied with a thick midnight-blue string. Zeke also wears an odd arm-slip up the arm that is not made of crystal.

Had that not been mentioned before? Both the left arm and leg of this sith-makar are made of a beautiful crystal that gleams brightly. The arm is bare from the shoulder down for the convenience of getting it in and out of clothing.

Seyardu
While not as physically imposing as many others of her kind, Seyardu still towers over most regardless. The sith-makar is covered in bright silver scales, with almost metallic, silvery eyes that are usually found in what looks like an appraising squint. Two long, ridged horns curve forward on their face, and a long tail trails slightly on the ground, keeping them balanced. Usually they are seen in town with simple, plain clothes, a simple vest and accompanying gray skirt. A large rucksack is usually slung over her back with most of her worldly possessions, with a large wooden shield, well used but completely bare, save for a rough dark black painting of a dragon's head.
