|Player Run Plots are a welcome and desired series of events on this MUSH. When we speak of Player Run Plots we're speaking of any adventure or IC event that involves at least two or more players in addition to the one running the scene.

This can be anything from an emitted scene of a bar room brawl to a dungeon crawl. The system is set up in a way to encourage spontaneous plots as well as pre-planned scenarios with minimal fuss with the staff. In short, if you have an itch to run a player run plot, for the most part you're allowed to do so. That is, plots tend not to require pre-approval from staff. There are some restrictions and guidelines in place to help keep a healthy mush atmosphere, as well as rewards.

A Standard or Death Consent PRP can be anything from an emitted scene of a bar room brawl to a dungeon crawl. Meetups are pre-planned RP-focused scenes with little or no conflict, which can range from getting together to discuss a longer-running plot or a themed celebration. POPs are player-driven storylines that take place on the grid, focusing on character development.

Player Run Plots (PRPs) are a welcome contribution to Tenebrae! Player Run Plots are IC events that involve a player acting as a PRP runner who is telling a story. These stories can range dramatically in scope; all we ask is that PRPs make an attempt to stay within theme! (Ask a staffer if you're unsure!)

We offer several types of PRPs: Standard PRPs, Death Consent PRPs, Meetups, and Personal Ongrid PRPs (POPs).

We recommend that most plots with combat encounters (such as Standard and Death Consent PRPs) concentrate their efforts into different tiers of gameplay. These tiers are: levels 2-5 (T1), levels 6-10 (T2), levels 11-15 (T3), and levels 16-20 (T4).

The only type of PRP that requires pre-approval is a Death Consent (DC) PRP. All other types of PRP don't require any permission at all to run!

What Can You Run?

Standard PRPs

A scene you run involving at least two other people.
Rewards up to two encounters according to your character level.

Death Consent PRPs

Increased rewards for up to two encounters according to your character level.

Meetups

A RP-focused scene or gathering with no or little conflict.
Rewards 5 RPP for Organizer(s); 3 for Participants.

Personal Ongrid PRPs

A personal character storyline that takes place across scenes on the grid.
Rewards up to two encounters according to your character level and 4 RPP.
