You've all been call in on an emergency at the Adventurer's Guild. You've answered the call and you've been quickly hustled to the teleporter to Rune and then out of the Candy Store. You've all been taken to a field outside of the Rune near the forest. The young wizard assigned to you looks up in the sky and in a commanding voice casts a spell that sends an arcane mark up into the sky. From the sky comes what at first looks like a horse, but as the four legged figure gets closer you can see it has draconic scales covering much of its body. This staglike creature moves with awe-inspiring grace as he lands in front of you. You hear a deep voice inside of all of your heads, << Greetings. I am Telmacor...thank you for coming. Some of our foals have been stolen by an Ogre Mage and his band. From what we were able to surmise they plan on trying to corrupt the foals to make into their steads. Myself and two others have been tasked with getting them back, but we need help keeping the other ogres away from us while we deal with the ogre mage. >>


Korrani picks some taffy out of her tusks with some straw taken from the field. "Ogres? Aye. Sounds a simple enough task for our small band," she says roughly as she looks around at the other adventurers. She's not sure what creature is requesting her aid, so she tries to act like this is commonplace.


Duncan leads his stout Khazad Digger along. "Hear that 'Nox? Ogres! It's been a while." He checks the edge on his axe, then the leather wrapping on the handle. The Digger just gives a long-suffering snort.


Kira looks up and admires the descending creature. She's startled when it speaks to her, and in her mind?! "Oh! Hello. Your foals?! Why would they take them?! That's terrible! Of course we'll help free them." She looks to the others, and the wizard to confirm that, and maybe get more information on the one they're helping.


The young wizards nods, "Yes the Kirin are noble creatures and we wizards here at Rune as happy to help them." Out of the sky come two other Kirins and Telmacor nods to them, << We'll be giving your rides. Although if you can keep up with us on the Digger it won't be needed. We have to hurry we want to get them back before they join the main Dran army. >>


Korrani narrows her eyes and furrows her slightly heavy brow at the mention of Dran. "Well let's get to it, then." She's not much one for riding, but to save a long trip and get paid faster? She'd ride a lucht if they were fast enough.


Kira nods to the wizard and the arriving Kirin. "Yes, we can hurry, thank you. Does anyone know why they took them? Maybe we can get them back and keep anyone from wanting to try and take more, and without any harm." She isn't a skilled rider, either, and has never seen a Kirin before, but if speed is important, they should hurry.


Duncan nods confidently. "He can keep up." The poor creature has to move at a fast trot to keep up with the walking speed of a more traditional mount, but he seems as tireless as any Khazad so they manage. "Either of you fought with Ogres before?" Duncan asks the others, curious.


Korrani scratches the back of her head roughly in thought. The half-oruchess asks generically, "They're the ugly ones, right?" Yeah, that's helpful and specific. She side glances at Kira incredulously at the mention of 'without any harm'.


Kira shakes her head at Duncan. "I don't think so. I try not to fight with anyone." Though she's still here to help and takes advantage of the kirin's hospitality and speed.


The Kirins carry you off away from the city and you travel for about an hour taking you to the edge of one of the forests. There is a camp all set up and it has one greasy looking tent and what looks to be a boar roasting on a spit. Black smoke billows up from the camp and you can see that trapped behind a crudely made fence are three Kirin foals. They've been hobbled by thick rope. The Kirins take you down to the edge of the forest and let you get down. Telmacor speaks to you again, << We three shall attack the Ogre Magi, we are relying on you to free our colts and get them to the forest, once you do we'll break off our attack and take you all away from here. Be wary, the Ogre Mage has other Ogres with him they will try to stop you. Any questions? >>


Korrani slides off the back of the kirin and pulls her bow from her back, testing and tightening the string a little. "Seems an easy enough plan," Korrani mutters as she finishes up the adjustments to her bow. "Maybe Miss Does-No-Harm can focus on untying the foals."


Duncan ended up accepting a ride after all, lest he be left far behind the others. But strategic use of his ability to summon his mount allows it to more or less catch up. "Seems straightforward enough." He looks at the others. "I think we should do this as quietly as we can." Then a thought occurs to him. He turns back to Telmacor. "How'll you know? When we are away with the foals?"


Telmacor responses, << One of the foals will tell us. We have been in communication with them now that we are close to them. >>


Duncan chuckles good-naturedly. "Great. Then just make sure the Ogre Magi doesn't blast you all to pieces, and we'll have your foals out of there in no time!"


Kira nods to Korrani. "I can untie them... or we could all go in to quietly free them?" She likes both Korrani's and Duncan's suggestions. "All we need to do is release them and get away. That's easier than fighting the ogres, isn't it?" She looks to them both, trying to point out the other benefits of not wading straight into battle.


Korrani snorts and sighs. "We could go quietly, yes. But if the ogres see us, we'd best be ready with a plan on who does what."


"Get away without fighting?" Duncan seems mystified at the thought. Then he shrugs. "Sure, we can give that a try." Then he shifts his axe so that he's holding it in his left hand, so that he can wield a lance with the other. "Just in case," he assures Kira.


<OOC> Duncan wants to use his stealth synergy feat...if we stick together when we make stealth rolls everyone can roll and everyone can use the highest result.

<OOC> Kira nodnods. "Highest die roll."

<OOC> Korrani says, "Cool"


Telmacor inclines his head, << We shall do our best not to be blasted to pieces. You should be ready to fight, we will take the battle with the Ogre Mage to the skies. We'll be off get ready. >> The three kirin get ready to attack in a small v formation. They paw the ground getting ready to charge.


Kira nods with Duncan and looks between him and Korrani. "We only need to slow any ogres down so that we can get the colts and get away. I can do that unless you want me to free them."


Korrani lowers her bow, still keeping it in hand and at the ready, just in case. "Alright. Hopefully the fight with the Ogre Magi will be enough to distract them," she says quietly, getting ready to sneak into the camp. Duncan suggests, "Why don't we see when we get there. I do my best when I stay with my friend here --" he pats his Digger affectionately on the neck. More of a punch than a pat really, though the beast seems to endure it as well as anything else. "-- and looks like Korrani here would be better off with a bow in her hands. So that leaves you to free them, and if you need a few chops of an axe or a chain bitten in two to speed things along we'll be right there."


"All right. We'll see when we get there. Quietly, I hope." Kira is ready and waits for the others and the kirin to make their distraction. Hopefully without any blasting to pieces.


<OOC> Cesran says, "Everyone ready any prep spells? Do them now"

<OOC> Korrani says, "I'm not exactly sure if I did them right...it keeps telling me I don't have any slots"

<OOC> Kira winces.


The Kirin start their charge and their hoofs beat across the fields as they head towards the camp. From the tent a large beautifully armored ogre and he roars something at the other ogres that are lying around. The ogres start to get up and pick up their weapons as the armored Ogre starts to rise up into the air. From the horns of the three Kirins come red beams that fire right at the Ogre Mage. Two hit and the sizzle of flesh can be hear while one seems to hit, but seems to have no effect. The Kirin rise up into the air after the Ogre mage although they seem to move much faster than him.

The Ogres spread out around the camp and they have their greatclubs out. They are prowling around the camp guarding the foals.

Korrani stays low to the ground and pads over to the foals, bow still in hand in case of trouble.

<OOC> Cesran says, "Well then everyone has a stealth of 27. You all start to sneak across the plains."

Kira isn't that trained to be silent or unnoticed, but she doesn't have armor to weigh her down, or weapons to make noise or anything like that. She also takes the lead from Korrani and crouches low in the grass while she moves along.

The ogres look around, but they don't see the adventurers that are sneaking up on them. The prowl around and growls in Jotun.

Duncan leads his Digger after the others, lying as close to flat as he can manage on the landshark's back to reduce their combined profile. By following in Kira's footsteps the great beast actually manages to move somewhat stealthily, despite its sheer bulk and all the metal it's wearing and carrying.

Korrani continues to creep along cautiously amongst the plain grass, her eyes flitting to the patrolling ogres as the group draws closer to the foals.

Kira freezes once when she thinks one of the ogres looks her way, then starts moving again after it continues on. She hopes he didn't notice and makes a quick glance at the other three to see how they're doing. Above the plains you can hear the sound of thunder as lightning streaks across the blue sky. The Kirins are up there fighting the Ogre Mage and right now it looks like the Kirins are getting the better of the battle. The ogres down here and they are amazed as they watch the battle, they aren't paying attention to the adventurers as they sneak closer to the pens.

The group had traveled across the fields towards the camp and had not been seen until they reach the pens. One of the ogres spots the group and lets out a roar. He swings his greatclub hard and bashes Kira hard.

Korrani whispers some arcane words on her bow. Greenish energy begins to swell around the weapon.

Kira is bonked hard and yelps. "Get the foals! I'll distract it!" She tries to grab for the big arm holding the big club, but it proves to be too big.


<OOC> Duncan says, "How far am I from the one fighting Kura?"

<OOC> Duncan says, "Er, Kira"

<OOC> Cesran says, "Like right next to her."

<OOC> Duncan will get off of the Digger and go to the pen, and have the Digger flank the Ogre and get in an attack on it if possible

<OOC> Duncan says, "So I do 2 move actions, one to dismount one to move, and the digger does a move and a standard to attack"

<OOC> Cesran says, "Flanking the one on Kira?"

<OOC> Duncan nods

Duncan slips off the back of his Khazad and narrowly ducking the ogre's oversized club. "'Nox - help her!" he shouts as he turns as he heads for the pens. Then after a moment adds without looking back, "Without hurting 'em much!" The Digger apparently has an interesting idea of what that means, because it circles around to the Ogre's side and then opens it's maws wide in a bite that could easily crush bones. Luckily for the monster the jaws snap shut on empty air.

The ogres attack en masse, but their attack all miss as the adventurers are just too tough at the moment, even when the digger gets attack the greatclub just seems to bounce off him.

Korrani draws an arrow as it wells with energy, and lets it fly, shooting one of the ogres.


"We just need to slow them!" Kira yells out as arrows hit the ogre. She can't easily grab something so big, so she splits the difference. She kicks at his legs and strikes for his stomach, aiming to stun him instead of cause permanent damage. Knocking the wind out of him and knocking a leg out from under him, she makes the ogre fall. But still breathing and not bleeding. Well, not from her.

Duncan narrowly avoids getting flattened by another Ogre's club. The Digger, seeing Kira's opponent fall, looks for his rider, bellows at the sight and turns to help. Duncan chops twice with his axe, and the Ogre falls before his mount can get to him.

Korrani takes two blows from the ogres, blood trickling down the side of her head as she staggers to the fence and tries to pull on it. She doesn't have enough strength to move it, but keeps trying. "Slow them or stop them completely," she grunts.

"I'm coming!" Kira lets the others know she's on her way to help. Closest is the one that swung at Korrani when she went to the pens. Kira dives low, tucks, and rolls to avoid a swing, but it also throws off her own strike at its leg.

Duncan rushes at another Ogre, at the last second spinning and slamming his axe into its side. The Digger trots along after and then adds a powerful bite, pulling it down and then twisting back and forth until the monster stops moving. Panting to recover his breath, Duncan casts a look up before turning to help with the pen.

Kira pants as she runs up to help Kira and Duncan after the ogre falls down. "Are you alright?" she asking with concern even as she tries to help pull the fencing down.


In a combine effort you are all able take out enough of the posts that are keeping the foals in. They are only hovering a couple inches off the ground as they are tied down. A couple quick slices with a sharp weapon is able to free them. As you get the foals away there is a loud crash as the ogre mage has fallen from the sky and the Kirrin come down to meet you in the middle of the plains. They all look very hurt and tired. Telmacor lands, << Thank you for helping to release our foals. I hate to ask this of you, but we have all been injured and would like to request that you help us get the foals to safety. They cannot fly very high or ride on us if you wouldn't mind helping to guard us as we get them to safer pasture. >>


The foals prance happily around as they are gently nuzzled by the Kirin. Their little minds are full of thank you’s to all of you.


Duncan, Korrani and Kira have spent the night with a trio of kirin and their foals that they saved from a band of Ogres and an Ogre Mage. The kirin trio took on the Ogre Mage while the adventurers took on the band of Ogres. The kirin trio were badly hurt in their fight and asked the adventurers to help them escort the foals back to their fields. You get a good rest in the morning and the kirin use their healing magic on the adventurer's first and then on themselves. The foals are unharmed and happy to be free of the ogres. The next morning the mage from Rune that teleported you here arrives with reinforcements as in Ladislaus. You'll all have to travel on foot as the foals can't fly but a few feet off the ground at most, preferring to stay a few inches above the ground.


Duncan has a stout longbow out and tends to ride ahead of the rest of the group, or to one side or the other. He's hoping to head off any potential enemies before they get close enough to threaten the newly freed foals. Also a small part of him wants to keep his Digger away from them so that he doesn't get any ideas about 'travelling light'.


Kira does not have the kirins' magic, but is happy to bind and treat any lingering wounds on anyone present. That includes any of the ogres felled that are still alive but are at risk of not staying that way, though they do get last priority and the others are ready to move somewhere else to camp, first.


When morning comes and they start the return trip, she stays close to the foals. They're the ones most in need of protection, and they don't want any to fall behind.


Arriving through the portal Ladislaus is a red-skinned Arvek Nar, his purple uniform crisp and militaristic. He is accompanied by his mount, Zofija, and adolescent grizzly bear. He greets his new companions with a pointy tooth smile and a tweak at his massive mustache. Mounting his bear he keeps a hand on his Bec de Corbin, mimicing the others in the preparedness for action. "Fine mornink to hyu hall. Dey gaff me de basics. Henny tink Hy schould know about de situation?" He asks in a deep Bludgun accent.


Korrani tails in the back of the group for any rear ambushers. In case she needs to shoot any patched up ogres dumb enough to come after them again. The Bludgun accent causes her ears to itch as she tries to make out the words. With a gruff nod in greeting, she doesn't say much about the situation save the basics. "Just that we have to escort the foals on the ground. We may still have ogres come after us."


"They were led by som kind of Ogre Wizard," Duncan adds, then glances to the Kirren to see if he's got it right. "Or was it Ogre Mage? In any case, they can fly and use all manner of sorcerous tricks no doubt." "Hello, and thank you for your help," Kira greets Ladislaus with a smile that purses at Korrani's worries. "I hope that they choose not to follow, or send anyone else. I don't know why they would want to kidnap them in the first place..."


Ladislaus gives Zofija a hefty pat on her fuzzy shoulder and a nod to Kira in welcome. "Schmot flyink magic mount? Maybe de reason. Or maybe dey need it for magics." The Arvek Nar looks to the Kirrin and gives an apologetic smile. "No uffense uf kourse. But pipple ride zum krazy tinks."


The lead Kirren, Telmacor, speaks to you all in your minds, << Ogre Mage. We believe they were going to try to corrupt them to make them into their mounts. Adult Kirrin would never suffer that indignity, but a young foal would be more malleable to their dark magic. >> The kirrin have formed a triangle around the foals to keep them together and perhaps they are a bit nervous about the mounts that the adventurers have brought with them. They lead the way and as the party travels together the plains give way to the forest. << Once we are on the other side of this forest we'll be at the beginning of the kirrin grounds. >> Telmacor informs the party, << It should take us 3 days to travel through the forest at this speed. >>


"I'm sure rare mounts is good enough to risk something stupid," Korrani grumbles, more of the helping of Ogres so they could potentially be well enough to pursue. Even though she was healed, that fight bloody well hurt. She travels along on foot, bow slung over her shoulder for the long walk.


Duncan glowers. "Just like an Ogre to take the quick and easy way," he comments. "If their kind want a 'rare mount' they should take the time to breed them!" He gives his Digger a punch-pat as if to give an example. The Digger just yawns.


Kira's pursed lips go to a full frown. "A mount should carry someone because it wants to. A friend, not a slave... That's terrible." She looks ahead to the forest. "If the magi are still flying, maybe they won't be able to see us through the trees. If they have to walk, they won't be able to catch up or find us easily." Three days could be exactly what they need to avoid them completely.


Ladislaus gives a loud raucous laugh at Duncan's words. "Tree days ride. It iz nize out. So far no problems. Suppose ve enjoy de time, eh?" Zofija gives a garrumph at the squeeze on her sides and shakes her shaggy head. Ladislaus sets the butt of his weapon atop the toe of his boot so he can hold it upright with one hand like a flagpole. "Und if ve are lucky ve'll get in a bit uf rough und tumble."

The first day in the forest goes by uneventful as does the morning of the second day. It's just after lunch time and you have all set out again. The first thing you notice is that this part of the forest has seen a lot of destruction. Large trees have been ripped down and apart for no other reason than to destroy something. The animals and insects have stopped making any noise and the path that you are on occasionally has a fallen tree that's in the way and needs to be climbed over.


<OOC> Duncan says, "Any chance we can make some knowledge roll to see what could do something like this?"

<OOC> Cesran says, "Sure a roll of knowledge/arcana"

<OOC> Duncan says, "Er nevermind, just realized this PC has no knowledges :)"


The sudden signs of destruction pull a gasp from Kira. She isn't a hunter or scout, but it seems pretty obvious that this isn't something normal. "What could have done all this? And why? It wasn't some kind of storm, was it?" She's doubtful, but it's always better to ask.

Ladislaus pages: Does it look like the trees are just thrown everywhere, or is some missing? Like more stumps than there are fallen trees?


Duncan peers at the wreckage dubiously. "Not like any storm I've ever seen," he offers. Then he turns to look at the Kirin. "Best be ready in case something happens."

Over the trip Ladislaus had agreed to cook for the group, having once been a regimental cook. Even promised not to make bug burgers. When they came upon the devastation he let out a low whistle. "So mhenny trees uprooted vould normally mean zumone iz buildink siege engines. But dey left hall de vood. Vaste." He gives Zofija's sides a light tap with his heels to let her know to be ready.


<OOC> Cesran says, "The tracks are easy to spot, they are of a large creature, possible more of than one of them. It's hard to tell with all the destruction."


"It is a waste..." Kira agrees with Ladislaus as she looks over the destruction. "If it wasn't a storm, then someone was very large and very angry? Or many someone’s? We should keep moving, in case they're still nearby or decide to come back..."


Korrani observes their surroundings as they move through the devastation. As she hops over a fallen log, she offers a tusky frown. "Aye. Doesn't seem a safe place to be traveling through with foal if they're still near. We should hurry past this."

From both sides of the forest come a crashing that is quickly coming closer and closer. Only Kira gets a chance to see what's going on before the trio of monsters come crashing through the woods towards them. The large creatures have the head of a nocturnal bird of prey and the body of a burly ursine creature. Their eyes are red rimmed and all ready rolling in their heads.

<OOC> Cesran says, "This is a surprise round, Kira and Ladislaus' bear are the only ones not surprised."

"Watch out! Something's coming! Bear...owl...people?" Kira first thinks it's one, then the other, then the last. They could be all three, since she's never seen anything like this. She moves to put herself between the creatures and the foals, just in case, and readies herself. They might not be friendly. To try and find out, she calls to the creatures, "Hello? Is everything alright?"

The creatures all let out a cry that sound like the mix between a roar and a loud cry from an eagle as the all move towards one of the adventurers. For such large creatures they move pretty quickly. One of them is right in Duncan's face, another has gone after Kira, while a third goes after the bear. Kira's attempts to be friendly are definitely not returned. The kirin trio form up around the foals to keep them save.

Ladislaus is not quite prepared for his mount's sudden movement, her big paws lifting off the ground to defend herself. Her jaws snap and nash, but nowhere near enough to do any damage. Her fur bristles as Ladislaus can do nothing but simply hold on for dear life and have faith in his mount.

The creature doesn't waste any time as it slashes through Kira with its two mighty paws and then bites down on her neck with its beak. The creature shakes Kira like a rag doll and then throws her on the ground before letting out a screeching roar.

Duncan draws back with a grunt as one of the creatures slams a paw into him. "Sorry lass," he says, or more accurately croaks, although his voice grows stronger and surer as he goes on. "--don't think these things are in a talking mood...eh?" He can't risk casting a glance back but out of the corner of his eye he notices Kira and then Ladislaus fall. The Khazad's face darkens. His eyes twitch and then begin to bulge, then finally fly wide open, bloodshot. Veins stand out on his neck and his forearms where they grip his axe. Bellowing incoherently, he does his best to slams the axe into the monster but can't quite manage to get through the thick fur. His Digger doesn't seem at all surprised at the strange sounds coming from his rider. Calmer and much more methodical, he opens his jaws wide and takes a bite out of the enemy's leg.

Zofija falls to the ground beneath Ladislaus, and he tumbles down with her. Obviously a full grown what this thing was, was a bit too much for the young bear. "Vo do hyu tink hyu are ugly?" He says as he rises to his feet with a fist flying upward, connecting with the Owlbear's gut.

The Kirin see Kira fall and they attack to protect those that agreed to escort them. One of the kirin's horn glows red and a ray of scorching heat blasts forth from it to injure the owl bear. The other two touch Kira with their horns and heal her up.

Kira gasps as she regains consciousness and quickly gets to her feet, avoiding the claw this time. "Thank you, but be careful!" That's for the kirin, not the creature that she grabs for, once quickly after pushing away it's claw and again after... but she can't get a hold on its fur or feathers.

Korrani draws two arrows in rapid succession and fires them off at the wounded Owl Bear. One arrow swishes past where the beast's head used to be, while the other lodges itself into is thick feathery furry hide.

The creature doesn't like that Kira tried to grab it. It swipes at her and the first claw grabs her and hits, while the second one misses as does the bite. It pulls Kira close to it squeezing her against its smelly furry feathery body.

The creature turns on Ladislaus and fully attacks him. It's two claws miss as does it's bite. It lets out a screech roar of frustration.

The furry feather beast that is on Duncan tries to go after him with its claws and beak, but its claws either miss or scrap against Duncan's armor and its bite catches nothing but air.

Duncan is howling like an animal now, spittle flying from his lips. This isn't the first time he's faced such creatures, and through experience or pure instinct he has discerned how this one moves. He brings his a e crashing into its body twice. His landshark waits patiently for an opening. And then, when the monster is doubled over from the blows of the axe, the Digger clamps its jaws down on the exposed neck, finishing it.


Ladislaus lets the point of his Bec de Corbin stab into the ground next to his fallen mounts head. Distance would be wise, but he will not leave her. Pulling with both arms and jumping he uses the haft of his polearm to allow both his feet to kick out at the owlbear. The first strikes and the second swipes through feathery fur. "Hyu vill pay for hurtink my Zufija!" He warns the creature, but he does not forget there is a job. "Get doze foals und run!" He cries over his shoulder.

"Yes, get them out of here!" Kira can't take them and run, personally. She has to get loose, first. Kira tries to get that way with an elbow and a knee.

Korrani pulls another two arrows from her quiver. She twists and notches an arrow, drawing the string back and lining up her shot. She releases and then immediately fires off another arrow. Both find their mark in the Owl Bear's hide, sticking out of and wounding the creature.

The creature has hold of Kira and it's not letting go. It tries to snap at her with its beak to bit at her, but even with her so close it misses.

The creature that was attacking Ladislaus misses with its first swing, but it connects with its second and pulls him close for a bite. He then tosses him away. The creature screeches and roars as another adventurer goes down.

Duncan's howling dies away as his opponent falls. He twists wildly this way and that looking for another enemy. The Owlbear that's holding Kira isn't moving much, and seems to be an easy target. Granox the Digger has ridden with Duncan long enough to know and anticipate his thoughts, and breaks into a lumbering run in that direction. Coming up behind the stonebeast clamps its savage jaw on the back of the monster's leg. The squat short-necked build of a Digger leaves the rider not too far back from front of the mount's. Duncan only has to lean forward slightly to bring his axe to bear. Which he lodges squarely in the Owlbear's back.

Kira squirms. "Let me go! Leave them alone!" She gets her knees and elbows into much better spots this time. The knee gets really close to a primary target area, and the creature falls to his knees and releases her.

Korrani watches another of their party fall. She draws two arrows and notches them together. She tries to calm her mind and draws the string back far, lining up the shot carefully before releasing it. The arrows thunk into the owl bear's chest, felling it. She releases a slow breath afterwards once the danger has passed.


Duncan is tugging at his axe, trying to free it from the Owlbear's back. Only by pulling with all his might is the Khazad finally able to free it. He looks around franticly, but sees no other monsters. Slowly begins to calm down. The last of his otherworldly rage leaves him with a shudder. Breathing shakily, he slides off of the Digger's back. "Keep watch, 'Nox." He murmurs, and the Digger begins to circle the area around the party. Duncan himself goes over to check on Ladislaus.

Ladislaus lays silently atop the furry body of his beloved mount. His long hobgoblin tongue lulls out of his pointy tooth mouth.

After the last owlbear falls one of the Kirin goes over to Ladislaus and touches him with its horn as it glows white with healing magic. Ladislaus requires a couple of touches with the horn before he's brought back around. The Kirin do their best to heal the rest of you and your mount before you continue on. The rest of your journey is uneventful as you make it through the forest. After the forest is a wide plain and from the sky comes three Kirin. They are slightly smaller the the ones near you. The foals get super excited and start to prance around. As the others get closer to the ground the foals break free and go running to them. There is lots of nuzzling and happy sounds.
