  • Summary: It wasn't a dream after all. It really happened. After so many years apart, and their memories tattered, Seyardu and Skielstregar are reunited as siblings. They share words avidly in the main room of the Wayfaerer's Inn, going over many, many topics and purposefully avoiding what happened that night there were separated all those years ago. Seyardu offers to show Skielstregar her friends, which he hesitantly accepts. He suggests they go on a walk, and Skielstregar shares the wonders of winter, which Seyardu was more than happy to listen to. It wasn't a dream after all.

Wayfarer's Inn, Dawn.

It was only the next day after the reunion. The rain had settled, and the chill of the outdoors was warded off by a warm hearth. Off in the corner of the main room of the inn, a massive figure sits at a bench by their lonesome. A polearm rests against the wall, and a cloak is set aside next to the, revealing a set of long fangs and tarnished scales.

In front of him is a large plate of food, half picked through, as dead silver eyes constantly flick to the set of stairs in the corner. His knee bounces, sometimes a bit too much as the knee thudded against the underside of the table and jostled his plate. He grumbles something about softskin design not fitting, but its more a nervous complaining than anything really intrusive.

Besides, he was really, really happy in the grand scheme of things. And the dreadful aura that usually surrounded him was dialed back threefold.

Atop the cloak was his armor stacked neatly, him in nothing more than a brown tabard and loose pants.

Seyardu had managed to either exhaust herself, or just become so overwhelmed with everything that had happened that they were out completely. They awoke that day feeling rested, if only due to the sheer amount of sleep they had gotten.

This leads to the cleric falling out of the bed with a loud thump overhead as she scrambles to look around the room. This continues for a moment, the hurried footfalls until she finds the note.

Seyardu appears, walking slowly and carefully down the steps, until she reaches the bottom floor. Looking around, she spots the brooding warrior in the corner of the inn, and immediately they stand a bit straighter. It had not been a dream after all. She runs over to where Skielstregar was sitting-

And trips over a chair leg, falling to the ground with an audible thump and drawing attention for a moment before she jumps back to her feet, and throws herself into a hug.

Skielstregar has a piece of bacon dangling from his maw as he waits. One glance, sees nothing. Another. Nothing. The next, a silverscale standing in the door frame. Without hesitation, he briskly stands, legs accidently shoving the table out of the way and making some food scatter on the table.

The tumble is met with a pause in stride, but soon she's back up and running. He softly laughs in a rumble, stooping down to hug the Shaman. With absolute ease, he picks her up and twirls her around the space, mindful of knocking into anyone. "Sssaaa..." he rumbles warmly, closing his eyes and carefully setting her back down. He doesn't pull away from the engulfing embrace at all. "... did you sleep well? This one was worried, you all but passed out..." he mentions soft, speaking in their native tongue.

Seyardu did not have her armor or weapons on her, and even if she did, it likely would not have made any difference in how effortless it was to pick them up,). Seyardu rumbles happily, holding tight to her brother even after being set back down.

"It was not a dream." She states, seeming pleased beyond measure, and a touch embarassed. "This one was tired, and, there was so much going on. Apologies, this one is, assuming you had to pay for the room. I can sette that with the owner later.".

"But, you are here! It has been so long, Skielstregar."

Skiel shakes his head. "There is no reason for apologies, Seyardu," he rumbles, mindful that his fangs didn't drag across any silver scales. "This feels similarly. They awoke hoping it was real. Yet here we are. Do not fret about that, sister-" the words warbles in his throat- "such coin is nothing compared to the what we have now."

The hug tightens, squeezing in from all directions before it finally abates. Without realizing it, he was already on his knees. An old, old habit from old old memories. He rises, an arm wrapped around Seyardu. "Come, this one has food to share! And words! So many words!" His tail hasn't ceased swaying in the slightest.

Seyardu was able to see their face properly when he kneeled down, and there was no fear. Concern perhaps, but they just smiled back and squeezed the bronze scaled makari in a final hug.

"If you are certain, Skielstregar, brother. Then this one will leave that be."

Their tail thumps the ground once, and continues swishing behind her. "Yes! Thete is so much to talk about, and this one would love to hear everything you can share! It has been so long, too long. There is much catching up to do."

Skielstregar didn't realize it, but that passing moment where lively silver eyes passed over him, there was a tension in his heart. A nagging feeling that he could be shoved away at a moment's notice for what he had done, and what he had become. But he found nothing of the sort coming from her. And that made him smile, joy overriding the dread. The dread that... wasn't that bad, all things considered.

He gives a nod, and leads her back to his table. There's some embarrasment that comes through, and he fixes the table and corrales the loose food into a small pile for himself, and he slides the lukewarm plate over to the other side. As much as he wants to sit with her, the man was just too large for a bench to fully sit the both of them.

He steeples his hands, too long talons draping over his wrists. As dead eyes simply just watch her. He catches himself, coughing some. "This one is sorry they are just... wow... this one... never expected this... this one doesn't know where to even start!"

Seyardu followed them back to the table, and there is a moment where she considers trying to make the bench work, before she just chuffs, and chuckles, sitting on the bench across from them. She looks to the much larger Makari, and she smiles, taking the plate and trying some of the bacon.

"It is quite good, this. Durrankar back in Mictlan makes some with honey that glazes the meat afterwards, it keeps for a bit of time, and is quite good. This one was meaning to get some more for Little Fang some time." Seyardu says, before she tilts her head and smiles. "Where to begin, yes! There is, goodness, over a decade now. Perhaps though, the past can be confronted later."

The happiness wavers just a bit. "So for now, the present seems ideal. You have been in Alexandria for how long now, Skielstregar? And to think, this one did not even realize!"

The plate had all sorts of assorted foods. A lot of meat, but plenty of other greens and plants to balance it all out. He tilts his head to the side. "Durrankar? This one has not met them, despite them being in Mictlan so much."

A tinge of sadness creeps through his face, and his large head dips some. "Yes... another time." But the joy comes back quick. "O-Oh, this one has been here for... four moons? Mostly keeping to Mictlan, they've only gotten used to coming to the city a moon ago. This one is still... nervous, around crowds. For obvious reasons."

He reflexively hides his fangs with a hand at that. "Ah, this one did not realize either! This one... felt something was off when their mind cleared. But... agh... this one's memories are scattered and torn. They remember feeling strongly for you. Protective! But the name, the face, the scent... was just gone."

"You have met their Cihuaa though, Un'eth. Both of them are the leaders of Mictlan, so this one expects you will run into them eventually." Seyardu chuckles, finding a fork to sample the meat and some of the vegetables.

"You are nervous around crowds? This one, this one remembers you being so confident around others and new people, from, what memories this one still has. You should not let how you look now dictate that nervousness. If any give you trouble, you can, speak to this one about such matters. This one has grown quite comfortable in the cities."

At that she sighs though, and nods as well. "My memories, they are fragmented, and there are many unknowns. This one, is sorry, they did not remember they had a brother, until coming here. Something happened, and the memories stirred, and the reason for my worries were made more clear. This one is just glad they can be settled, now!"

Skielstregar blinks, sitting upright. "This one knows Un'eth well! They've helped this one quite a lot with their... issues. She spoke of her Cihuaa, but they have never met them before! They would like to meet them, perhaps it would shed some more insight on this one's affliction..."

He clears his throat, and rubs at his neck. "Uh... this one.. erm. This one unsettles softskins and and the People. They are... well... um..." He simply gestures at himself. The tarnished bronze scales, looking just like Seyardu's when she was ghost hugged. His dead eyes, the fangs, the talons, the missing scales. "This one has been ran out of a town before, and has been viewed suspiciously by Death Singing Shamans. It is... hard, sometimes."

He reaches out, taking a hand and being careful to not let his long talons scape anything as his large mitt engulfs hers. "That is well, Seyardu. This one is just... so, so glad. This one knew of you for the longest while... they thought you were gone. A-And-" he warmly laughs, mirthful- "you're just as small as this one remembers!"

Seyardu squints and looks at Skielstregar, and she chuckles and nods. "This one can see how that would be the case, but still, this one will explain if necessary. Un'eth is a good shaman, and a good leader. I am not surprised they have been helpful to you, Skielstregar."

She holds the hand, or at least lets it be held, due to the size difference. She nods, but this is followed by a puff of air. If a sith-makar could pout, they certainly would be doing so now.

"This one is not that small, you are just, as tall as before, perhaps even more so. I am certainly not a few feet off the ground, at least, but, perhaps this one hoped they would grow a bit taller."

"But this one has been training!" She adds. "This one is much stronger now, and does not trip nearly as much."

Skiel nods sharply. "A good Shaman indeed. Very, very good." He chuffs at the pouting, him reaching up to attempt to pat Seyardu on top the head to assuage that. But it stops, and relents. "Ah.... this one is sorry, they are just so... feel so close already. It has been over a decade, and you are still trying to remember. Please let this one know if they are too much," he lays out, patting the hand and folding his own back in front of him onthe table.

His eyes widen some. "Have you now? This one would certainly love to see what you have accomplished with your training! Dual caste-ing are we?" he cheekily grins. Then snickers. "... are you certain...? This one is pretty sure a few minutes ago you..." he trails off, smiling.

Seyardu looks at the hand as it hovers over her, and she leaves her seat to meet it for a moment before it is retracted. The silver makari shakes her head. "No, it is quite alright Skielstregar, this one, this one does remember being close. But this one will keep that in mind."

She puffs up a bit, and chuffs, with a bit of pride, and a bit of sadness. "This one always wished to be a hunter, but that was not to be. This one is lucky enough they managed to find a way to be useful as a shaman. And yes, of course! The only reason this one just tripped is due to the chair blending into the floor, and being in a rush to see you."

Skiel blinks as a head fits into his palm, then he just laughs, shaking his head and reaching out once more to properly pat his sister's head.

He pulls back, crossing his arms to lean against the back of the bench. It bows slightly under his weight. Scaled brows rise. "Oh? This one remembers the fish traps and how you had a hard time with them. But why the change of plan? What happened after...?"

That night. He doesn't say it, but he didn't need to.

The half-dead makari just chuffs and knocks a leg against Seyardu's playfully at the mention of tripping.

Seyardu rumbles something happily when the hand returns, and she sighs when he settles back down. "Skielstregar, this one managed to trip running through a relatively quiet inn room, and this one has not had any improvements to their eyesight." She states, bumping her leg against his at the mention. "It would be dangerous, and a bad idea to pursue that further, and this one realized that. It was made clear this one was not a fit for that. So, this one needed to find what they could do to still be helpful."

Skiel quietly rumbles a chuckle. "Clearly not. But that is well you managed to find something suitable. This one..."

A look of something of... awe crosses his dead eyes. "... wow... this one is proud you have grown so much. When you healed this one... this one never felt so much *power* rush through them like that. You have gotten strong, sister. Stronger than..."

A somewhat weak chuckle, his head droops a bit. "... the roles may be reversed now."

Seyardu blinks, and squints, before she shakes her head and grins, seeming pleased again. "This one, thank you, Skielstregar. They are merely making the best of what they can do, but it is reassuring, that you are impressed with what they can do."

"It is, not nearly impressive, having a connection to a god, than being strong like you or my friends Aryia or Thurid." They admit. "You have grown stronger yourself though, you have been training? That is good, Skielstregar. This one still, could not imagine the roles being reversed."

A bang comes from the table, Skiel having lightly struck it with a closed fist. "Nonsense!" he briskly denies. "The strength of Shamans is incomparable to that of the Warriors and Hunters. This one prays to the Dragonfather, yet receives none of his blessings. Yet you do for the Mother. Your conviction is strong, sister. That power this one felt surge through them... it could have brought him from the brink of death to ready and willing!"

He leans in some, the bronze visage sharpening some for the silverscale. Similar silver eyes staring back at her. "This one is... trying to train. But their... affliction is quite... say... prevalent in impeding that."

The silver makari looks up, and blinks when the table is smacked by the fist, and she pauses, before thumping her tail once. "Yes, this one admires the clerics and their conviction, but this one always admired the druids even more, and those to whom it came naturally. But you are right, it has not been easy to reach the point I have."

Seyardu raises a brow. "What is it that you mean however, Skielstregar? You are having difficulty training due to your affliction? Is it, an issue with the combat?"

"That's more like it," Skiel grins toothily, skewering a cold egg with a too long talon and popping it into his mouth.

Though, a sigh leaves him, a twin stream of visibly frozen air spilling forth. The brother leans forward, getting closer so that the silverscale could see him properly. "Seyardu. This one..." his voice drops a few notches in volumes, it mostly felt than heard now. "... this one is not as strong as he used to be. This one was, and still is to a degree, of the lost kin. The influence of the corruption of this one flesh is still there. It pulls at him. Every day. Some days are better. Some days are worse. And not only that..."

He cycles a breath. "... this one is uncertain, but they think their corruption is powering them. This one dares not show you, as they... don't want you to be afraid..."

Seyardu squinted less as they were easier to see, and she shakes her head again, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"You are wrong, you are strong still, especially to be here in spite of that."

She too grows quiet, and the sadness grows. "This one will not lose you after finding you again so soon. This one will do what they can to help, as you did in the past. That is a promise."

Skiel inhales deeply, face twinging a bit as he took in sadness, as well as the general scent of kin. The latter always fanning a ghastly ember that never goes out. He leans into the hand. "This one. Will not. Be lost," he thuds his fist thrice on the table. "Seyardu, you misconstrue. This one is strong because of the People, however few that may be, believe he is strong. This one has their own promises to keep as well. They are going nowhere. This one has to learn to live with this, to tame it for themselves rather than succumb to it."

A hand raises to rest over the one on his shoulder. He voice softens. "When this one says you are stronger, they mean overall. You've... grown so much. Do not think this one does not see that. This one is unsure of himself still. Afraid of the unknowns that dwell within him. This one's tribulations have cut them down. It's... just taking a while for this one to stand."

His maw trembles a bit. "... s-so they need you to be the strong one for a while until they can do that."

Seyardu gently squeezed her brother's shoulder, and she nods after listening to what was said. "That is, good to hear, Skielstregar." She says quietly as he reaffirms his resolve. "This one, this one would struggle to bear you being gone again. But, this one does not think less of you, for your struggles. And when you stand again, this one will be ready. But until that day, this one can remain strong. As said, it is only fair, after how much you helped."

"This one is ashamed they forgot how much you did."

Skiel bows his head some. "... thank you, Seyardu. This one is glad you understand..."

A chuckle rumbles in his chest. "... would you believe that this one barely remembers what sorts of things he did? This one thinks our childhood is just as spotty as the other's. They forgot your warm acts, but not the warmth behind them."

"I can not say I understand fully, but I will do my best to, so I can be of assistance." Seyardu sighs. She chuckles just a bit, but it is coupled with a hint of sadness. "We both have such spotty childhoods, but likely for different reasons."

"But, we have time now, right? Even with the past like such, we can make new memories now, and, I really hope that will be the case!"

It was his turn for Skiel's brows to knit in concern. "And this one is curious as to those reasons. But perhaps now is not the time for such discussions."

He thrums, sitting up straighter. Which makes him tower over the silverscale. "Yes! We have time! So much time! This one is excited! There is new purpose!" he declares. Was he always so jubilant? It felt right. "What should we start with then?

"This one, yes, it is to be figured out soon." Seyardu nods, looking confused for a moment, before she grins and finishes off most of the food.

"You are correct, there is so much time! it is hard to believe, but there will be much to come. And, yes, purpose in looking out for each other again, if you would like. As for what to start with, it could be anything! This one could have you meet some of their friends, or we could explore the city, as having a guide may make it easier. And this one could meet Un'eth and others with you, as well!"

The prospect of meeting people makes the towering makari man shrink a bit. Nerves showing up now. "A-Ah... well. Erm. Certainly. This one, um, doesn't have many aside from Vaera for you to meet. Maybe Un'eth. But..." he rubs his neck.

"... this one hasn't many friends..." he murmurs. That lines up with what he said earlier, about not receiving invitations to things. "This one would be glad to accompany you to the city. They feel best when present with another there."

"Then this one will help you to make some new friends!" Seyardu grins, reaching over to pat one of Skielstregar's shoulders again. "Do not worry, you are a good person, and this one does not think your appearance will be a problem for them.

"Cryosanthia will be understanding when she is not surprised by you being around, and this one has friends such as Braelnoir or Thurid who would be understanding."

Seyardu grows a bit quieter, and there is a touch of embarassment in the air. "There is also ah, this one's friend, Sjach."

The man's worries were allayed someone by the reassuring pat, Skiel sighing. "This one would like to meet more people, it is hard for them..."

His gaze flicks over to the door, then back to his sister. "Ah... the Speaker may... not wish to see this one for some time. Until the nesting is over. This one is being careful around Mictlan to not disturb any nests with his presence. He has been collecting firewood to give as gifts for when the time comes. But this one would look forward to meeting this... Braelnoir and Thurid. And... this Aryia. Maybe. Vaera knows of her. I am hesitant to meet her."

His head tilts to the side, him catching the embarrassment. "... what of this Sjach?" he asks innocently, yet curious.

"If you speak to more people, it will get easier, right? Once you realize that they're much more understanding than your worries may make you think. I do not thing it would be bad for you to be around Cryosanthia, your presence will not bother them, I feel." Seyardu offers with another smile. Though she looks to the table, and sighs.

"Sjach is, they are a friend of mine, a hunter caste. And this one has been spending more time around them."

Skiel shrugs his large shoulders. "We shall see. This one saw how his presence effected her, and this one is aware of how... oppressive his existence is to some kin."

He leans in some, squinting a bit. "... you speak like it is a good thing, yet you hang your head, sister. Why?"

"Perhaps you should find something to mask your scent, though it does not bother me too much. But I think that it was more surprise than anything else." Seyardu suggests when she looks back up, and she sighs, settling back down.

"It is, ah, Sjach is this ones friend, but more than that. This one, has affection for them, which she has told them about. That is why, it is a good thing, yet also embarassing."

"Masking doesn't work. This one is working on it via what they mentioned before," Skielstregar points out before tilting his head to the side.

He blinks. Snick snick.

A loud, boisterous laughter fills the room as he throws his head back, silencing some of the conversation around them. "Embarrassing No!" he declares before piping back down to a rumble, coupled with a cheeky smile. There was quite a lot of joy coming from him. "This is a good thing! This one is happy to see you have grown to trust another so! Has this Sjach harbor such affections as well? Or, and this one hopes it is not the case, such affections aren't unrequited?"

"Not masking, but, eliminating the scent, this one means. Cryosanthia has gloves they use to eliminate scents, not mask them." Seyardu explains, before they are caught off guard by the laughter. She can not help but grin to see them happy, but the embarrassment was only further stoked.

"It is, yes, it is a good thing, Skielstregar. This one was surprised to realize their feelings, but ah, it is nice. And, yes, they were not unrequited."

"This one is quite happy about it, to be honest, Skielstregar. Is there any like that, for yourself?"

"It won't work," he says with a bit of finality. "The scent exudes from this one. Through foul magics."

The brother smiles wide, him reaching over to rub his palm atop Seyardu's head. "This is good! And this one is happy for you!" he chuckles warmly. Though, act the question, he shakes his head simply. "No, this one doesn't. It may not be in this one's interests for some time."

"Well, that is unfortunate." Seyardu sighs. "This one is sorry there is not a solution they can think of."

The pat does manage to let them relax some. "This one understands that, too, but you have many years ahead of you, yes? I hope there will be some time it will be. You should be able to have more friends and people you care about, too."

Skiel softly sighs, a rumble leaving him. A nod. "Yes. This one is still young. Very, very young compared to how long our kin live. They have many years ahead of them."

Then he pokes her nose. "As do you. Do not rush this. Enjoy it."

"Which is why I would like to help you enjoy time now for the future." Seyardu chuffs. "But there is no rush."

"I am just, concerned about the magic you speak of."

"Yes, I am not rushing things. It has been nice, and I hope things will continue to be so. It has been a lot of work figuring things out. Since, ah, if you remember, how our nest mother passed so early. A lot to learn that should have been learned sooner."

The warrior chuffs. "Good. Not till you're older." He winks.

A sigh leaves him. "This one is concerened about it. They are doing their best to understand it."

Skiel gives solemn nod. "Yes, this one remembers. Though, they get the distinct feeling that this one had to help you with some things such as that."

"I am an adult for what it is worth, Skielstregar." Seyardu chuffs, with a similar not quite pout to before. But it breaks quickly, and she chuckles. "That being said, this one understands what you mean and your concerns. I am just, things have been going on, so much here, that it is nice to have one to relax with, and confide. The city is not as stable as it appears on the surface, there is much going on beneath. It is a struggle to stay afloat at times."

Skielstregar gives a small huff, and grins. "Yes, but this one will always be older than you," he sticks his blackened tongue out at her. Though, it's quick to sigh. "This one has heard. It... saddens him that he cannot visit the temple of the Dragonfather due to it." Disappointment comes from him. "They wished to see a proper temple to him. for once."

GAME: Seyardu rolls 1d20+7-4: (4)+7+-4: 7

Seyardu chuffs and uses the stuck out tongue as a target to catapult a forkful of scrambled egg at the bronze makari, but she only manages to stick it to the side of their snout. The cleric sighs. But it passes and she chuckles, gesturing with one hand.

"A proper temple to the dragonfather? The whole world of ea is his temple, and the actions of those whould would seek justice and compassion his prayers." She stakes, before she allows herself to smile. "That being said, I understand, the non makari have a certain extravagance for their offerings to the gods. The stonework in their temples, and the artistry, it is impressive to behold."

Skielstregar makes an 'ack' as the egg makes a wet slap against the side of his face. He rumbles a giggle, scraping it off with a talon and eating it. He felt so at ease...

"Ah yes, this one knows. This one just heard the one in the city has a certain splendor to it. Yes, the work put would be a wonder to see. Another thing this one wonders... " he leans forward some, his face set in confusion. "This one cannot... remember. We're... you always partial to the Celestial Mother? It is one of those memories that has been consumed."

"Yes, they are impressive, and their facilities are also impressive. The Althean temple does so much! Not only is it a place of worship, but it also houses rooms for caring for the sick and injured, and massive kitchens for feeding those in need! And the Daeus temple, there are always so many training there to fight and protect against whatever challenges might be faced." Seyardu explains, chuckling just a bit. Though, it dies down at the question, and she sighs. From her tunic she pulls out a stone carving of the celestial mother, Althea, spattered with dark red splotches that were the strange remnants of blood.

"You do not remember that, do you? When mother passed away, father had this made, and it hung over my bed for many moons. The Celestial mother is a goddess of healing, family and protection, and he hoped it would keep me safe."

Seyardu squints, and she looks at the chain where the symbol Skielstregar had on was. "Perhaps, he did something similar, for you? I honestly can not remember. He never ah, he did not mention you, growing up. It is one of the most confusing things."

Skielstregar blinks, him leaning in to look at the symbol. "... why is it bloodied, sister..?" he wonders aloud before his dead eyes snick back up to look at her. A bit of sadness fills him. "This... one does not remember... they are sorry. This one had the symbol after his madness ende-"

Pause. "... that is a topic for another time. But... what is this of father? This one doesn't... remeber father. Or why he would keep me from you. This one remembers your warmth. Your eyes. Your height. It happened, this one is sure of it... "

"Is my height really that memorable?" Seyardu chuckles, but then she shakes her head, and sighs. "Another time. Yes, perhaps it was, that they gave it to you."

"It is strange, he was always kind hearted and a good person, even if he did not wish for this one to travel. This one, did not leave on good terms." She states, growing saddened. "Perhaps he had good reason, with the shock of what happened, but, this one can not help but wonder."

"It is when you made the perfect arm rest," Skiel teases, but he sighs. "This one made this symbol. The old one was broken."

He puts a hand on his head, thumb massaging a temple as he strained to recall things. "... what happened? Are... you referring to that... night?" Yes, that night. With the raiders. "This... this one does not remember father. They are sorry. You did not leave on good terms? Why is that?"

"Ah, I see. it was possible, at the very least." Seyardu sighs, both at the explanation of the symbol, and mention of what happened. "Yes, that day, and night with the raiders. This one did not remember it for the longest time. As for, father, he did not wish for me to go out and learn of the world. He thought it too dangerous, especially for myself. So this one had to go against their wishes to visit other tribes, and Alexandria. This one has not been back since."

A sort of somber expression pulls at Skielstregar's dead eyes. "Ah." He clacks his too long talons together, a slightly nervous tick. "... maybe it is the case that he was overly protective of you, and had not wished the same to happen to you as what happened to this one? Perhaps he know of this one's... predicament."

"There is, no way he did not know you were gone." Seyardu frowns. "Perhaps he just did not wish to lose me, yes, but it was stifling, and this one felt lost, that they could not do anything to help others."

"It was not until this one gained a grasp of their magic they did not feel like a burden. And that took a long time to discover and develop."

Skielstregar is silent for a few moments, him now drumming his talons against the wood of the table. "... this one does not know how to feel about this. They will need to think about father's reasonings..."

He shakes his head. "But, perhaps your leaving was a good thing, as this one can tell you've grown quite a lot due to it."

The large, half-undead makari looks off to the side, thinking for a spell before returning back to Seyardu. "... when are you to return back to Alexandria? This one will... go with you. After they return to their camp back in Mictlan to let their friend Vaera know they will be going to town. And, of course, share the news with her," he hums. Happy at the prospecting of spending more time, yet nervous about being around people.

"He should know, but this one does not feel ready to return and tell them, they may not let me leave." Seyardu admits, growing concerned by the thought. "Yes, this one feels better for their trvels. And if they did not, they would not have met you!" She adds, smiling again. "It will be fine Skielstregar, promise. This one will return soon, they should let Sjach know, as well."

Skiel does his best to give a small sigh, trying to relax. "Of course. It will be fine. But- yes! If you had not, we would not be here, sharing words!"

He thinks for a moment, before he gets to his feet and holds out a hand. "Very well! But, this one thinks we should enjoy the cold weather, no? Does a walk sound well?"

Seyardu squints at the hand, before she grins and takes it, seeming pleased by the notion. "Yes! The weather is nice here, this one enjoys it. And they have heard good things about winter! This one saw snow before, but it was magical and not for very long. But actual winter, this one is looking forward to it."

"Yes, winters are splendid. This one got to experience quite a number of them during their time with oruch tribes," Skielstregar rumbles, squeezing the hand in his. He starts to make his way to leave with Seyardu in tow, his tail swishing wide and knocking into the silverscale's and bumping into chairs. "Winter is so splendid. If you sleep outside, you may end up covered in snow, and its so comforting! And not to mention all the ice and the..."

And he trails off, going into the wonders of winter. Freely conversing with his long lost sister. It felt right. Natural. Like a little hole was filled that had been long wishing to be complete.

"You slept under the snow? Perhaps I should try that some time." Seyardu chuckles, unable to contain her own joy at the reunion. "I have heard people gather balls of snow to throw at each other, it is some manner of hunting training, that this one would no doubt not be the best at. But it sounds enjoyable!"

Seyardu was content to listen to Skielstregar speak. It was almost like so many moons ago, from what she could remember. And it was a welcome boon, especially not needing to return to Charn to reunite.
