When last we left our brave heroes, Serraphine had lead them (forced them?) through the evil door into the shattered remnant of the Equlibrium. In the distance a tower raised into the sky, but approximately no progress was made in walking towards it until Constantin started moving perpendicular towards it. This seemed to work, as to your eyes he started blinking towards it. The rules of navigation seem to have broken.

Sasha is too busy trying to find out where Serraphine went. She's also trying not to puke.

Serraphine is currently standing in front of the doors which she tries to push in and then pull out, trying both directions. She's right in the front, at the doors already. "Let's try both directions... All of them." Then she tries side-to-side, then up and down.

Sasha says, "What about sliding them open?"

Iskandar follows Constantin's lead in walking...not exactly away from the tower, but not towards it either. "Strange that this would work!" he remarks. "Fodder for the philosophists, perhaps!"

Morgan looks to the others as she lands on the ground "outerplanes works on there own rules, now corupt the area and it can make the rules here worse."

The doors do not budge! This could be a problem.

They look old, weathered, and very, very blackened.

Serraphine frowns as they do not budge in any direction. So she glances at Sasha, shrugs, "Tried that." so instead, she knocks. "Should've tried knocking first of course. Best to be polite." Sage nod.

Sasha sighs and facepalms. "All right."

The door has numerous knockers, actually, and yes a pair of handles that looks like they have been sorely damaged and blackened as well. As you observe it, it's surface swirls, a pair of engraved hourglass in bas relief raising to its surface.

Morgan is looking at the door with a blank gaze as if she is trying to find something.

A chin-scratch and Serraphine tilts her head, "Nope... Let's try the knocker." She reaches out to grasp the nearest knocker instead. Tap taptaptaptap... Tap Tap. And then waits.

Sasha just...stares. "If the plane is corrupted, then how is knocking gonna work?"

Morgan stands back to see what hapens.

Sasha feels the slightest shift in the floor as soon as the knock was sounded, and she grabs the knocker immediately. it's one of her rare reflexive feats.....that she rarely has.

"We're going down. Now is the time for flying spells... And.. .things..." Kore is more breathless tha nshocked to fall through the door. This giht be why she so effortlessly grabs one of the knockers and begins to hang from it --- only for others to grab onto her as she's hanging there. "Gah!I can't- do this much longer..." The half-Elf manages in a pant. "Need to figure out what we want to do fast..."

Morgan takes a moment to reflect on her life while she takes a moment to slow the fall of her self before she can kick in her overland flight. thats been up. Indeed, there is the sense that the door is opening before you, but then the ground beneath your feet is what gives way. It's like reality thought you were standing on the door. Everything is disroeitning and there's a wrenching sense of vertigo as your mind, and balance, struggles to keep up with the changes.

Morgan lets out a wreching sound as she loses what little food that was in her stomic. She does say a few naughty words.

Constantin holds on for the moment, then looks forward/down. "We want into the tower. So we drop." He tries to drop to the edge of the door next -- because flying magic and him? They don't go together.

To the rest of you, Morgan suddenly also vanishes from view.

A frown, Morgan has vanished. "Well... drat." Serraphine sighs and simply lets go. She'll find out where Morgan went. "I still don't like you!" she calls it out in advance of her possibly crashing down near Morgan.

Iskandar releases his grip next, holding his arms out to the sides with elbows bent in case it helps his balance.

Morgan screams up "Dont care what you think. But every one get down here."

Sasha rolls her eyes. "Well...what else can go wrong?" and she lets go....

Constantin looks down from the doorway, trying to plot a course before he lets go.

And then Sasha vanishes from view.

Sasha descends down towards Morgan, who is unable to quite get out of the way in time. CRASH.

Now Sasha has landed on Morgan, more or less.

Which is painful, but not lethal due to Sasha managing to 'fall better'.

It would be far worse had everyone let go at the same time...

Sasha hits Morgan and grumbles. "Crap. Sorry, Morgan. Didn't know you were there." She then sighs. "Well....that could've gone better." She says popping a knee.

...and you fall. You fall a good twenty feet and hit the ground, each of you, though only Iskandar crashees into the wall terribly, badly hurting himself.

Several of you are disoriented from the stomach churning fall and the first thing you notice is the room... the room is /drenched/ with blood. You're laqying in blood. There's blood on the floor, blood on the walls, blood on the ceiling dripping on you. It's like a geyser of blood erupted in here and spared no expense in touching everything.

...and now the blood is... moving.

Coalescing...

...reaching for you...
