  • Summary: Cryosanthia and Jinks head to Goblintown to do some shopping, Cryo having intended to get some artifice items for Lily. Aryia falls out of the sky in front of them, and Seyardu is nearby. Jinks is struck with an upset stomach and leaves, while the scalies and the scarred shop. Many of the goblins are packing up to move to the goblintown outside of Merkabah. The recent happenings in the city, as well as the proclamation have unsettled them. Cryo speaks of her need to repair relationships, and prepare her nest, and also laments how much she's adjusted to city life. Lily spots the vendor that has all the mechano set pieces, and they head over. They discover the Ross Outfield's ArtificEmporium also has an unusual dragonspitter they found before. Cryo explains her change in mind and purchase it as well as all the artifice bits she can carry. Lily fires the dragonspitter in the air, everyone instructs her to be more careful, and they depart for the Tarrace.

'Goblintown' consists of a dead-end street where a number of poor (and, as the name suggests, goblinoid) residents of the city live. Many of the buildings here have been cobbled together with whatever material was available at the time, often bits of metal and stone stolen from the factories to the north rather than wood. That said, in recent days, many of these temporary structures have been converted to more permanent fixtures, giving the area a less 'shanty' and more 'conventional' appearance, interspersed with the previously impoverished look the place was known for.

The occasional shrine to Reos seems to represent the only 'official' presence in the area, with the City Watch seeming all but invisible here. In their place, there appear to be numerous Arvek and Gobber groups that form a makeshift community watch, giving the sense of wary eyes on every street. From time to time, the symbol of Serriel may be seen as well, though mainly among the Arvek, who oft bear it with pride. Oruch shops sit alongside gobber ones, though the latter far outnumber the former; gobbos' nimble minds make them the natural crafters of the goblinoid world.

At one point there were few shops here, but now the entire area bristles with brisk trade of things ranging from basic necessities to the more esoteric magical and bits of artificery. It is said that one can find everything they need in Goblintown without having to step foot in another section of the city, and this statement, judging by the activity in this area night and day, may very well hold true.

A Cold rain falls from a grey-black sky devoid of moon or stars.

A raw wind blows from the east.

It's earlier than it seems, but it's still dark and feels like night.

Cryosanthia strides towards Goblin town, Little Fang riding on her shoulders. She hands the Tribune to Jinks. The proclamation is on the front page, large and bold.

The Ruling Council has issued an emergency proclamation that reminds Alexandrian citizens of the following:

1) Any citizen who so attempts or succeeds summoning freely a demon within Alexandrian will be subject to immediate arrest and imprisonment, with their final disposition to be seen to by a proper tribunal. Those whom have carelessly or intentionally loosed demons on the citizenry will be required to answer for it.

2) Any citizen who is known to otherwise traffic with demons will answer to appropriate authorities.

3) The ruling council wishes to assure all citizens that the city government and its armed forces, both irregular and otherwise, will be of one mind going forward: the purging of all infernal influence within the city bounds and otherwise. Too long has this threat lasted upon the peace of our peoples: it ends now. Rest assured that the Council and the Faiths are hard at work and that the most recent threat of demons, as well as their summoners, agents and cults, will be brought to a final and definite end. Similarly, it is not too late for those involved to turn upon their infernal associates and repent their ways.

"I guess that's what Sabina means, about having to 'atone' and 'refusing to repent'." The whitescale says. Raindrops aren't freezing when they hit her, but ice is building up on her legs before they trickle all the way down to her feet.

Jinks walks in Cryosanthia's wake as he eyes the paper, her considerable bulk (compared to his) a good and proper blocker to ensure an interrupted route. "Timely," he mutters, scanning everything after the headline, "but better late than never, I suppose." He folds the paper and tucks it under an arm, double-timing briefly to catch up with and walk next to the Sith. He scratches at his chest distractedly. "I do have something I need to tell you, Cryosanthia. But not here or now." He glances up, "And not around Lily." He waves a hand, dismissively, as if it's not exceptionally important. "It'll keep," he adds.

"Snow in Clockwork Point. The heated roads are a marvel; something about aether-infused copper under the cobbles." And now, the weather. "... and the conveyances. Nothing like the wagon that you and I-- erm, well." Another sensitive topic. He squints, considering the ramshackle surroundings and wonders idly why he didn't make some excuse to scurry off at the Tarrace.

Oh Goblintown. Such a wondrous place with many nooks and crannies that held a plethora of wonders and mysteries.

But it also served as a labyrinth for the uninitiated.

There's a blur that goes across the rooftops, faded afterimages trailing behind them as the land on the road and skid haphazardly on their feet in the wet rain, a grey cloak billowing out behind them.

Grey hands flail to stop as they slow down, loud bootfalls clanking before a scarred mul'neissa falls ass over teakettle and lands on her back.

Right in front of the two.

Blink blink.

Aryia sheepishly raises a hand.

Cryosanthia is able to cut her way through a crowd. She is resplendent in mithril and leathers, a bright cape, boots, gloves, all in a gleaming white with pale blue highlights that match her scales. Her corset is elaborately decorated with ovals of various sizes, an optical illusion that disguises but doesn't completely hide the roundness of her belly, which is adding to her bulk.

If all of her wasn't enough to clear crowds, they seem to have done so all on their own. Goblintown looks...

Empty.

Emptier. There are fewer stalls, and more wagons, and a flurry of activity of gobbos packing up. There's a massive cartload of fireworks, and a sudden fizzling as a torch lights a fuse. "Hey! Careful!" Another goblin appears out of nowhere, clipping the wick, "Use an artifice lighter!" He returns to puffing his pipe, heads up to the frontboard, picks up a whip and cracks it over the pigs. The wagon starts to roll out.

The whitescale halts as Aryia lands in front of her. "Oh. Peace on your nest Aryia."

"Peace on your Ass." Lily signs. She's learning handsign. Good, polite handsign. <handsign>

Saved by the mul. Jinks collects himself after recoiling at Aryia's arrival, grateful for the interruption (and excuse not to talk about a rather awkward carriage ride). He snorts at Lily's faux paw (get it?) and smooths down his goatee to hide his grin.

Aryia snerks, her gesturing back, "Peace on your /nest/" from the floor, emphasizing the mistake. She gets to her feet, wiping off the grime on her pants before pulling her cloak more closed. It was only now she noticed Jinks from his movements, Cryo taking up quite a lot of space and attention. "Oh. Hey. What's up?" she casually motions, a flick of her middle finger brushing against her shoulder. The elf look tired, but in good spirits overall.<Handspeech>

Seyardu was not normally one who explored goblintown, but the recent move of so much to the Soldier's Defense made it relatively close to the trade district, and with less time to travel, the proposition of visiting was much more enticing. That, and it seemed she was running out of places to be of late.

And so she wandered, but the more she did, the stranger the place felt. With a name like goblintown, she was expecting more, activity. It was a bit of a disappointment to be honest. She was about ready to head elsewhere when she found a group of familiar looking faces, so she walked over until she could discern by scent through the lingering gunpowder and oil, and see Aryia pulling herself up off the ground. she waves, and looks to Cryosanthia Jinks, and Lily, thumping her tail once.

"Ah, peace on your nests, all of you, it is good to see you. Are you alright Aryia?" She asks, one brow raised to the Mul'niessa.

"We can talk about it later Jinks," Cryo says, indicating she didn't miss what he said, "there's a few things I'm still not ready to face. I owe you an explanation for that ride."

As if it matters.

Lily smiles back at Aryia, lots of tiny teeth, and waves while pointing at her rear. "You hurtss tail!" So she was well-wishing, in a way. <handspeech>

"Lily stop waving your rump at Aryia, you're not a cat." Cryo says, noticing the antics of her shoulder passenger. "Peace on your nest, Seyardu."

"Bags! Boxes! String! Supplies for moving! Not stolen at all." A travelling street vendor wanders by, pulling a goblin-sized cart.

"I hope I haven't left this too long." The whitescale admits, looking around. Where are all the stalls?

Jinks looks suddenly ill.

Aryia chuffs a smile. "Tail is fine, thank you Lily," she slowly motions back, rolling a shoulder as she catches Seyardu approaching. "Oh, hey. Yes, I'm fine. Been getting that thing down."

There's a silent giggle at Cryo's choice of words.

The mute pivots around, scanning the place, as well as flicking to the vendor's wares, then back to the whitescale. "... Why does this place look so... vacant?" she asks aloud with her hands, them ending to rest on her hips. <Handspeech>

"I thought those boots you have were supposed to help with falling." Seyardu notes with another glance back to Aryia. "But, if you are alright, that is good. Aryia is saying that she is fine, and practicing something new."

She looks back around the area, and to Cryosanthia, before continuing. "Yes, I am wondering too what Aryia is, about why it is so empty here, with everyone leaving. I hope it is not too late for what you need Cryosanthia, is it something I could help with?"

"Rat on a stick?" A goblin vendor appears beside Aryia. Where did he come from! He waves a deeply barbecued rat in her face. It smells spicey, "lightly smashed, lovingly marinated and seared to keep in the juices. Two for one sale! You won't find rats as juicy as the Alexandrian ones anywhere!"

He points the rat at the paper, "Everyone's gettin' while the gettin' is good. Been places that got bounties for turning in your friends. Suddenly everyone is a werewolf, or witch, or vampire, or demon, or dances with them in the pale moonlight. How about you miss? You're looking big." He offers the rat to the white-scaled Sith'Makar.

Cryo isn't -that- big, but the goblin point of view does offer a perspective that would highlight her gravidity. She stands slightly taller, her posture adjusts, but there's no hiding. "Ahh... thank you. No." She nods slowly.

Turning towards Seyardu, she answers, "This one is looking for Mechano or Erector sets and spares for Lily. Also... a particular firearm vendor I saw last year. That's likely hopeless..."

She rubs down her front, tugging and adjusting her corset on her belly. "Lily, climb on my head and see if you can see farther. This is bad timing, but this one is leaving Alexandria too."

Rat on a stick? "Oh fuck yes," Aryia grins, fishing out some copper and getting that two for one deal. "Damn, I hope you all don't go. My favorite stall."

She looks to the paper, then her brows pinch. "... oh. Right. That." A sigh, then a chomp on the street food. She blinks at Cryosanthia. Her duty was calling. She gives a simple, common gesture to Cryosanthia, a single finger wagging with a questioning expression in her face. "Where?" <Handspeech>

Seyardu looks at the paper, squints, and recognizes the main page which she had seen earlier. "They are, afraid that they will be thought to be a fiend?" She asks, more than a bit surprised, and bothered by the response. "That is, a bit ridiculous, and there are clear and obvious ways to determine such falsehoods, but, it should not be the case, and the only ones who should have concerns, are those truly doing so."

"There are, there may still be some stalls for that I hope." She replies to Cryosanthia, before she freezes, and stares at her. There is shock, and concern.

"You are, leaving?"

"Thank you miss!" The gobbo rat-vendor hands over two, and produces another two. His stand is a marvel, a mobile barbeque with a rack behind to hang the finished product. He waves the new rats around, wafting their scents, "Teriyaki!" He nods to Aryia, then Seyardu, "yeah. Gobs can get a bit back-stabby, y'know? Plus the actual demons, the people vanishing, the blood drained bodies in the street. Err'one's thinkin' it'll be safer wit what crawls out of Merkabah. Like, I likes a bit of spice in life but wez all gettin' that sense, mebbe time to go."

He laughs, "Good news though, the Arvec Nars is probably all staying. They like a good bit of boot stompin' around."

More Rat-on-a-sticks are waved around.

Little Fang, meanwhile, becomes the princess in the white tower and stands on her Ssassa's head. Holding tight to the horn-tips, she peers around like she's in a widow's walk on a lighthouse.

"To Mictlan," Cryo says, unable to look down, trapped into being a perch, "To prepare my nest. So I'm not dancing there with my legs crossed asking if they've got a spare one somewhere."

She exhales a long breath, "This one will be in one place for a while. I have to choose. It would be better with the people, as much as this one will miss the sights and sounds."

Jinks says, "My lunch and I are not getting along." He runs into Ma Rosie's with a hand over his stomach and mouth.

Jinks has, apparently, used the arrival of the others as a distraction to make his exit.

Aryia gives a nod, biting in again without hesitation. Damn. She would miss it. Hard to find vendors that were willing to be risky with their food. Aryia always liked trying the weird stuff.

Though, the news makes the mute woman blink at Cryosanthia. It... made sense. But it did make her a little sad not having the whitescale so close by. "Oh. I've... never been there. I don't think they'd like me there, but I'll go there to help you with your nest, like I promised." <Handspeech>

Seyardu tried to refute what the goblin was saying, but she just sighs, finding nothing that would do so, and attempting to would just be a lie, especially after what happened in the Fernwood recently.

"Yes, it may be safer there, it is true. I will wish you and those working with you safe travel."

"To Mictlan, yes, that makes sense." Seyardu says to Cryosanthia with a nod. "It would be better there, with the magics that keep the temperature the way it is, and the people to help. And, I will be there as much as I can to help."

"You are welcome there Aryia, I have said you would be. Many speak draconic though, but this one can translate if needed."

Cryo is keeping her head level for Lily to stand on. She misses Aryia's expression, her signs and the hints of her feelings. Lily translates, somewhat. "She'ss don't now where isss, will help with nesstss. We hates her."

Some information is lost.

"What? We don't hate you!" Cryo says, surprised. She thinks a moment, fills in some blanks, "Most of the people realize Mul'niessa are not all Charn, and this one will vouch for you, and hopes you do visit."

"Thank you Seyardu, this one is glad you will be." There's an odd quirk to the edges of Cryo's mouth, she doesn't explain what is making her smile, "I will be back and forth a bit, but repairing the friendships there is necessary. I won't be laying..." Saying it almost transfixes her. It's happening! Really happening. She is going to have a nest, be a nest-mother! She adjusts how her corset hugs her belly again, "... I won't be laying for a while. I will stop in to get a book or to visit you and Mikilos...."

This is followed by a very long sigh, "... and to visit the Tarrace, but Sabina is closing it. Perhaps."

"Theress!" Lily shouts, pointing, "There's it is!"

The mistranslation makes Aryia blink, her stepping back some so Cryosanthia could see the mul shaking her head and waving her hands to dispel the notion of distrust. There is a sigh, and a little nod. If Seyardu and Cryo were vouching for her, then hopefully all should be well in the end. Still, she'd be far out of her element there, she didn't know a lick of the dragon tongue. "I'll take you up on that," she motions to Seyardu.

The elf sighs. She heard about the TarRaCe. Hopefully it wasn't a permanent thing. Damn, she really was addicted to that bathhouse. And she never got the courage yet to try the massage tables out. Hopefully that chance wasn't fleeting.

Aryia blinks, her wheeling about to see where Lily was pointing, blazing eyes cutting through the fog. <Handspeech>

"Lily, it is not a hatred for Mul'niessa, it is for Charn, what they stand for, and what the place and those in charge permit. Aryia is not in charn, does not permit the things they do, and is not in power. There is no reason to hate her." Seyardu explains with a slight chuckle. "Yes, you are, it is a joyous occasion indeed, when it comes. This one may be out that way more often, so that is good."

The mention of the state of the Tarrace though, seems to make her sad, as well. "I sincerely hope that it is not closed, as I enjoy that place quite a bit, especially the bath houses. This one was, meaning to speak to Sabina about them, if she could change what is added to the baths for a day, but they were gone. And this one searched for her in the temple district, but they said she was no longer there, among other strange looks. Stranger than usual."

It's right down the road.

There, is far down the street at the opposite end. A wide table, a huge collection of artifice components, shelves and display stands, as well as a banner that both glows in the dark and flashes magically.

'Ross Outfield's ArtificEmporium!'

The proprietor taking down a corner. He's packing to leave also.

"It will.. this one... Yes, what Seyardu has said." Cryo watches Aryia now that she can see her, and spots the stand when her youngling points it out. "It'll be ok. We must hurry, he's packing. Lily, shoulders please. This one needs to look down so I don't kick anyone."

"Come, I'll explain the Tarrace later. Sabina... she needs hugs." Without clarifying further, and feeling Lily in the saddle, she drops into a running stance and lopes along, cutting around the wagons scattered about the street.

Aryia bobs her head at Seyardu's points, but frowns slightly at more talks about the TarRaCe. Another sigh.

Right down the road indeed, the elf perking up and raising a brow. Oh! This guy! She remembers them. This is where she got that voice box from.

The note about Sabina makes her brows pinch. Hmm. Okay. She could spare a hug or two.

"They are still open? Then we should hurry, and see what they have available. It may be best for us to purchase what we can, that way they will have more coin, and less cargo for the road." Seyardu responds with a nod to lily, as she begins jogging lightly to the stall in question, only tripping once or twice. "Then we can speak, later, about those matters. If they need a hug, this one is usually willing to offer them."

Two sith'makar and a mul'niessa running up can be startling. The gobbo jumps, hearing feet and seeing them all arrive and loom.

Well, the mul'niessa doesn't look, much. "Oh, hello!"

"And Lily, Ssassa, hello!" He says looking up at the pair of scalies.

"Wheress!" Lily demands, leaping onto the table and leaning into Mr Outfield's face.

"Yes, we were looking for..." Cryo attempts to remember the name, it was like her clutch-mate's, "The Pebble gun? The River Stoner?"

"Roxanne?" The gobbo asks.

"RocksssSand!" Lily confirms, tailthumping the table.

"Yes, I do actually." He moves around to his wagon, pulling out a wooden box, setting it on the low table. He opens it, revealing an intricate Dragonspitter, full sized, ornate and metal, with many tubes, rings and chambers.

Aryia gives a small wave from the hip in greeting, her looking between the gobbo and Lily's antics. She raises a brow. "Rock... sand?" she repeats, peering around Cryosanthia to look at the box.

She blinks. "... is that a gun?" <Handspeech>

Seyardu took longer to reach the stall, as she was busy dusting herself off, twice. But eventually she manages to join the group around the closing shop.

"What is this about pebble guns and river stones?" She asks, looking around until the goblin pulls out a box. Perhaps it was some sith-makar figurine made out of artifice, or something of that sort. Though surprisingly, it was some manner of firearm. Well, Cryosanthia had been compared to an airship cannon before, so perhaps the comparison was not too far off the mark.

"It, looks like one of those firearms I have heard of and seen, like Venom's. Were you thinking of purchasing it?" She asks the whitescale.

"Yes! It My gun!" Lily signs at Aryia. <handspeech>

She lurches forward to grab it, the goblin pulls back at the same time as Cryosanthia steadies her youngling. "Patience Little Fang. I remembered it had a name like to Rocky's tradespeech name, and yes, we are going to buy it."

"Ssassa, I thought..." Ross says carefully, watching the whitescale, "I thought you were worried your daughter would be targetted, if she had it."

"This one was, but then this one found no excuse is needed to target my youngling." Cryosanthia says bitterly, "and it is something she is interested in, and this one wants to reward her."

"Also, please call me Cryo. Ssassa is 'mom' for the Sith'makar, this one is not your mother."

"Oh, of course, of course. Sorry Cryo." He pushes the box towards Lily, who immediately snaps up a weapon that's almost as large as she is. "So I found a few components that seemed to go with it, and made a display box. I was hoping you'd come back for it..."

"... a few people wanted to buy it to take it apart, break it down, but I couldn't. Not an original Fizzlebog design." He finishes, "It'll be more than I quoted, storage, maintenance."

Aryia blinks as the little kobold acquires a gun. Her glancing to Cryo in a 'you sure about this?' way, but she instead watches Lily. Carefully.

Was this some way that Cryo could help Lily keep herself safe? Or was this just Lily's mechanical interests? Both?

"... careful..." she warns Little Fang, knowing just how devastating a dragonspitter could be. <Handspeech>

"Cryosanthia seems to have come to this decision, and I trust her judgement on the matter." Seyardu offers to the shopkeeper, looking back to Lily. "That being said, know that it is dangerous, not like the foam darts for your crossbow." She warns. Though, the crossbow was able to wound a arch fey's feelings, so perhaps it was equally dangerous.

"I did not know that a dragonspitter needed maintenance while being stored, but I know precious little about how they function."

"Lily, Lily! Wait!" Cryo puts a hand on her youngling, "Lily, wait, listen. Keep it pointed safe, that way, finger off the trigger, don't load it. Okay? Safe direction, just examine it for now."

"Yaaaas." She's barely listening, wanting to play with the wonderful device.

Cryo looks at Aryia, her expression worried and proud. Both, it's both. It may be of use for her protection and it aligns with her mechanical interests.

She faces the goblin, "this one understands, this one is grateful you kept it for me after my previous rejection. I'm looking for any Mechano and Erector sets or spares, and some artifice. Actually..."

She removes her haversack and holds it open, "Fill this up with as much as it will take, we will be out of the city for a while and this one needs things to keep her occupied. Perhaps even I will play with them."

"Yaaaasss." Lily agrees with Seyardu, the way children do when they're not listening, continuing to fiddle with the weapon.

"Thank you for the warning, Seyardu, she will listen eventually." Cryo smiles at the silverscale, "this one had a safety and shooting lesson from a friend, Kaelyn, but it was for blackpowder and that 'Roxanne' is... something else."

The mention of Venom earlier makes a flicker upwards go across her lips, though she does step up to help Cryosanthia keep the weapon pointed in a safe direciton, at the very least. Little kobold fingers too quick to keep out of the trigger well.

She wanted to disable it somehow, but she had nary a clue how to use the things, except for what she's seen someone else do.

Man, Cryo was quite serious about this, if she was stocking up on nick-nacks to keep Lilly occupied.

"Listening now is important." Seyardu states, but she sighs, when the others seem focused on keeping it pointed elsewhere. "If it is different, you should ask what you can now about how it functions if possible, or find someone you trust to take a look at it. Venom is good with them, perhaps Aryia could introduce you some time."

Seyardu does look to the bag, and chuckles just a bit. "Perhaps you could make an order for any new sets to be delivered to a mailing office in Alexandria, after he becomes situated in a new place."

"Well, that's the thing ma'am," Ross answers Seyardu, "I bought it off another vendor, and he didn't know. It's not like other Dragonspitters, might be warm."

"Yes," Cryosanthia nods, "this one will sort that out. Please, more Mechano sets."

The gobbo is finding things to put in the haversack and writing down a cost.

Lily meanwhile, seems to understand the weapon in a basic way. She explains in a strange mix of draconic, goblin and gnome, "Thiss pumpss thiss, then lever flicks, and twist." The barrel is pointed upwards, a somewhat safe direction. As she continues to fiddle a large spherical chamber starts to glow pink. A substance, or a clear fluid that already filled the tubes, appears in the tubes also with a pink glow that spreads, ring to ring along the weapon. "Then thisss, and thisss, and ssnap, and doness." <mongrel-tech>

"That's a good idea, where will you be going?"

"The goblintown outside of Merkabah, not far, just far enough." Ross explains.

Aryia is knitting her brows together as the weapon starts to glow more. She didn't understand a lick of it, but the motions and lights were similar to a weapon she'd seen tinkered on more times than she can count.

The mute motions with two staggered fingers, them curling next to her mouth to start, "... Lily... turn it off..." she warns, taking on the auntie role now. "You don't pull a sword out on a street without good reason, same thing with things like that..." <Handspeech>

Seyardu too notices the explanation going on, and she reaches to put a hand on the barrel as well, keeping it pointed away. "Little Fang, please listen to Aryia. Your Sassa is trusting you with this, and it is good to understand it, but there is a time and a place for working on and with it."

The silverscale pauses, and sighs. They really were heading out. "When you are in Mictlan, you can speak with the hunter and warrior castes there. I have seen several that have used such weapons, and they can show you how to operate it such. After all, if you are old enough to hold a weapon, you are old enough for them to be instructed in it's use."

Cryo's attention is drawn by the concern. "Ah... yes, Lily, that is not in a good state." She looks at Ross, "How is it de-powered?"

The gobbo shrugs, "Dunno, didn't come with an instruction manual. Only works for... not goblins. Point it upwards and shoot."

The suggestion is made! The pinkscale angles to do just that.

"Wait!" Cryo says, "Do you warn people, at all?"

"Ohyeah," the gobbo says, then shouts, "PRODUCT TESTING!" He nods, "Now it's ok."

"Okaaayss!" Lily squeals.

>>bzzzZOOMM!<<

There's an electric crackling and and a crack as the dragonspitter goes off. A pink ball of light fires straight up... and... eventually vanishes, Or pierces heaven, no one can know.

There's very little reaction from the other gobbers, a few look towards the Outfield stall, a couple cheer and clap like diners do when plates are dropped. Everyone returns to their business.

Aryia looks a bit perplexed at the fact that weapon discharge was not only uncared of, but encouraged here. She flinches instinctively as the shot goes off, a hand going up to her face as if the shot would somehow go that way.

She gives a long, soft sigh, blazing gaze narrowing at the shopkeeper. Great. Now it was going to be harder to teach Lily not to do things like that.

Seyardu squints when the goblin calls out for testing, and the arm holding up the firearm twists until it is between Lily and the weapon, just in case, and for as little as it may do. There was a flash of light of some manner of shade, and a loud noise that makes the silverscale wince.

"Well, it seems to be in working order at the very least." Seyardu chuffs. "Please do not prepare it to fire again for now though Lily. I do not wish for it to be taken away from the guards so shortly after acquiring it."

"Yes Lily, RocksSand has to be packed up." Cryo echoes the others, taking the weapon and putting it back in the case. Lily, simply claps with a gleeful smile. It worked! It works for her! It's hers!

Cryo pushes the box into her Haversack, it barely closes. She's going to need a bigger bag. Or a second bag. This will actually be a problem. "You will have to get training with the hunters and be very careful. Okay?"

"Yaaass."

The whitescale turns to Mr. Outfield, "So, what does it all come to?" He shows her a number, she counts out coins, dips her head towards the gobbo, "Thank you for the sale. Good luck with your travels, this one will seek you in Merkabah, or set up a shipping address for here."

"Of course! Cryo, Lily, good doing business." Ross shakes hands, "to you two, too." He waves at Seyardu and Aryia.

Cryo resets her haversack, stands erect and lifts Lily up where she can ride on her shoulders. "Shall we go to the Tarrace? Speak with Sabina?"

Aryia blows out a little huff before reaching forward to pat the pinkscale on the head. "Yes. Train with the hunters." At least then there'd be less accidents.

The elf shifts to be on her back foot, her taking a mental note of where the shop was going. Once more, another wave from the hip and a nod to him.

She turns to Cryosanthia, head tilted to the side. She thinks about it, then nods slowly. Sure. She's got some spare hugs in her wallet. <Handspeech>

"Training with the hunters, they will show you how to use it as well as possible." Seyardu adds, chuckling just a bit again, and reaching to pat the pink kobold's head as well. "Why don't you put it back in the box for now? It will be much safer while Cryosanthia is moving to the Tarrace, and we will not be stopped on the way there, so we can see Sabina sooner."

She turns to Cryosanthia, and thumps her tail once. "Yes, we can go there, you said there were things to talk about, and I do not have any plans for the day. I was going to look around here more, but most shops are closed up."

"Mmhmmm." Lily agrees, to having the weapon boxed up and made safe. She settles into the saddle on Cryosanthia's back.

The whitescale waves at Ross, then turns, checking the streets for small, fast moving objects. "Okay, let's go. The Tarrace!"
