  • Title: Clutching Mother

  • Summary: Cryosanthia is traveling to Mictlan when she stops in at the Wayfarer's Inn for a meal. She encounters Zeke, who has buried himself in books researching various topics. Cryo offers to help him, with the eating that is, orders food and fills him in on the interrogation she participated in earlier. Kaydin arrives with rabbit for the proprietor and joins them. He barely has time for introductions when Nonantziné, Zeke's Clutch-Mother arrives. She is raging at the prospect that her child, whom she calls Maskurwarayuslih (broken beyond repair), would present himself at the Caste Ceremony. Cryo and Kaydin intervene to little effect, with Cryo being driven into a rage. Zeke's mother storms off, frustrated with his foolishness and 'friends' while Cryo advises the blue sith drake to show off his crystal limbs proudly. Zeke asks if she shows her own scars proudly... and she doesn't. Everyone leaves separately in an awkward departure.

The inn's main room is large yet cosy, with plaster walls and a low ceiling supported by sturdy oaken beams. The decor is sparse: there's little other furniture save for a few rough-hewn wooden tables and chairs, and the only real object of 'ornamentation' is the large, moth-eaten moose head that's set above the kitchen door at the far end of the room. Still, the inn is pleasant in a simple, rustic way, and the delicious smell of food cooking makes it all the more inviting; the place seems to be more of a restaurant than a tavern, and a bar is nowhere in sight.

The innkeeper's counter sits in the east corner, within a few paces of the main entrance. Behind the counter is a small storeroom where one can purchase traveling supplies. The west corner of the room is occupied by a spiral staircase that leads to the second storey.

It's snowing outside again, a softer snow, but snow nonetheless. However Zeke, is safely inside and sitting close to the hearth, a great many books and scrolls piled up on the table around him. Most are open and he seems to be taking notes on the various subjects that the scrolls and books offer up to him. "Shining a Light on the Undead". "Vampires and You". "Demonnomicon". "Fairy Tales of the Unknown." "What the Slaugh are You?". Those are the ones currently lined up in front of him, and there's several more carefully packed away in a bag off to his side away from the fire.

The sith himself is deeply engrossed in his studies, but his tail flicks behind him suggesting that he's uncomfortable and every once in a while he glances up, looks around and seems displeased with what he sees. A tea pot sits carefully placed in the center of the table with a tea cup already poured but long grown cold. Occassionally he stops and half reaches for the cup only to scribble something down and forget about it again.

Cryosanthia has had a very productive morning which renewed her confidence in her Speaker instincts. As such, she is in high spirits even though it is a long walk on cold roads to the Wayfarer Inn. The sith-makar Caste ceremony is tonight and she is not going to miss that! She's bought a backpack to carry her things, or thing as the case may be, which shows as a rougly cylindrical shape in light pack suggesting some kind or large cup or odd mace. Food, however, was not included in her purchase and she wants something before going through the woods. A little something, because there might be a feast but also, there might not. Stepping inside, her vision adjusts and she sees the blue sith-makar seated at a table with a rampart of books.

She approaches, loud enough to be heard, not loud enough to disturb. "Peace be upon your nest. Do you wish company?"

The blue-scaled sith looks up from his books at the sound of footsteps drawing closer to his table and blinks owlishly at the one who approched him. He sets his quill down and rubs his claw carefully between his eye ridges. "Thisss one wassss jussst about to take a break, ssso you may join thisss one for repassst if you wissssh." Indeed he clearly keeps /forgetting/ this fact. Carefully he begins to roll the scrolls back up, using just his right hand for the task.

"This one wishes so." the white sith replies, slipping her pack off and setting it down near the books. She observes the titles of the books, and the cold tea. "This one will get us something, standard fare and renewed tea."

She lopes off to the kitchen as if she's done this before, and returns promptly slipping onto the bench beside Zeke. She works her tail back and forth until she's seated properly. There are a lot of scrolls and paper, she reaches and then stops. "This one will let you clear a space. Disturbing your note order would be unhelpful."

Zeke carefully arranges his notes and nods to Cryosanthia. "Thisss one appreciatess. Thiss one would not want to lossse the order of thiss onesss notesss. There issss much to remember and ressssearch further." The blue-scaled sith finally puts the last of his things away and arranges his notes on top. When he's done he ducks his head slightly. "Thissss one apologizesses. Peasssce on your nessst Cryosssanthia, thisss one offersss thanksss for ordering for thisss one, and the opprotunity to sshare wordsss."

Cryosanthia smiles and dips her head deferentially, "This one is here to assist, however she might. Food is better shared. It is a grand puzzle. This one is a hatchling in it, and feels she is walking in old steps. Some new pieces, perhaps, were found today. Ezil questionned the boy that was beset by demons and Lord Eclavdran, this one was there. The boy assures the Demon Duke is helpful." Cryo gives a quick summary of the session in the prison, and by the time she's done the food has arrived.

She takes the teapot, cups, sets them a safe distance from the books and places today's special in front of hersef and Zeke. Pouring the tea carefully, first for the blue sith, then for herself, she returns the pot, "Does my story simplify or worsen your quest?"

For a long moment Zeke considers not only her question, but the story she tells of the strange situation in the dungeon. "Thisss one isss... deeply troubled by thisss boy and hisss thoughtsss that a demon can be good. Given a choisce between the two optionsss thiss one would sssay it worssenss the quessst. If people think that thisss demon can be good, fewer will aid usss againssst him yesss?" Zeke warms the fingers of his right claw over the cup of tea which is his and gives a grateful smile and swish of his tail to the woman for it. "You found no marksss on the hatchling, but he sssaid that othersss - who were cured - bore it?"

"Yes, fewer would aid, it would upset the knowledge stored in books. If fiends can repent, how? Those are thoughts unthought." Cryo sways her tail, mirroring Zeke's. She raises her cup as well, holding it with both hands, taking a sip. "No marks on the places this one could see with light examination. The marks are bold, Mikilos' is, so this one suspects no marks anywhere. The hatchling did say the cured bore it, his nest-mother had one on her neck. They are placed to be seen this one believes."

Zeke can only shake his head at the thought of a 'goodly' demon. "Thisss one thinksss the demon iss only playing at being good for hisss own purpossess. They are chaotic creaturesss at heart, and are known to do thingssss that are completely unexpected of them for reassssonss beyond our ken. Asss for the marksss... It ssseemsss there iss no way of knowing without asssking thiss missstresss. Thisss one isss convinsced that ssshe usssess them to ssshow her ownerssship of othersss. To ssshow her power." He shifts uncomfortably at the thought, trying not to shudder and failing.

"This one is familiar with that." The white sith's tail coils around the bench seat and holds on. Her movements are tightly constrained. To another sith it is clear the thought bothers her deeply, and she is suppressing reactions. She has a lot of tattoos and they're not organized in an aesthetic fashion. Her armour covers many of them, and is blank, a further sign she's not proud of them. They look more like magic symbols than decoration. Something found in a book. She takes her cup and drains it, filling it again with only the slightest shake, "This one may have a way to speak to the demon. Perhaps the mistress."

"Thisss one apologissess, thiss one did not mean to bring up unhappy memoriesss." Zeke is clearly troubled by the stillness of the other sith and her clear discomfort with her past. His tail flicks with his own discomfort at having caused her undo pain. "Thisss one did not know, though that isss a poor excussse. If you pleasssse, do not attempt to ssspeak with thissss demon or thiss missstress. They are both very powerful beingsss. Thisss one would be concerned for your sssafety, particualarly were you to do sssuch a thing alone. Furthermore... thisss demon hasss been making dealssss with thossse who are willing to ssstep into sssuch a trap. Trading anssswersss and curesss for favorsss unknown."

"This one is not hurt by your words. Your concern, is most warm. The past is done, but it can reach forward." Cryosanthia manages a smile, the muscles in her face and neck relaxing, then like a wave it cascades down and the rest of does as well, her tail uncoiling. Once freed, she slaps her tail against her backpack. "This one would not try it. This one has a Chalice, that the demon Jerboabo used to speak with Lord Eclvadran. This one is not sure if filling it would open a link to the Duke, or a spell is necessary. This one has also thought of using it for soup, but fears demon eyes looking up between the meat cubes and peas. Ezil, Blessed Follower of the Stars, has the demon Jerboaba who could instruct on its use, if it could not be divined. There may be other Chalices, one might talk to other minions or the mistress herself, like a magical version of the hatchling shell and strings toy. This one would be too easily snared, so the use must be by others, but I have ... not told my thoughts on it to anyone yet."

"Asss thisss one well knowsss." Zeke says of the past reaching into the future. His tail flicks again and he subconsiously shifts his cloak to better hide his left side. Nothing can hide his crystal toes poking out however. But they have another topic to discusss, and the past for the moment stays in the past.

"Thisss one hasss ssseen thisss game from afar, and it isss posssible that thisss isss sssso... however if this chalice isss sssuch a device, it isss posssible that it isss magical and that it will passs the wordsss it hearsss to itsss masssster." Zeke's tail does its thing, showing off his nervousness at the thought. Isss thisss Eszil keeping a demon... assss a pet? Here in Alexandria?"

Cryosanthia takes a few mouthfuls of her meal while Zeke speaks. She notices the movement of his cloak, and his toes, and had wondered from the previous time, but does not broach that topic. "This one is worried it listens, but does not know how to tell. Would your examination help, or should it stay bundled. Ezil has the demon secured, this one is not sure where, and seeks to fulfil his promise to safely banish it to its home plane."

"Thisss one can tell you if it isss magical, which would tell you at leassst some of what you need to know. If you will allow thisss one to examine it." Zeke takes a small drink of his tea finally, and finding it cool enough begins to eat his meal with small polite bites. "Why would one, thisss friend of yoursss not jussst kill the demon and return it to itss home plane thisss way?"

Kaydin enters the inn and has a giant rabbit on his shoulders. He then offers it to the innkeeper and smiles. "You can pay me the usual fee." He says as he looks to the sith and he begins to walk over to them. "Nice to see you lot out of the mictlin. Is there anything I can do to make your stay here more comfortable?" He asks curiously.

Cryosanthia gracefully leans and snags her string backpack, removing the Chalice from it and setting it on the table near the books. The only wrapping it had, seemed to be a thin cloth, the kind food-sellers wrap lunches in. The whit sith exhales very strongly at Zeke's question and rolls her shoulders in a shrug another sith would recognize as something like 'frustrating softskin traditions', "Ezil has vows that he will accept all requests for mercy. The demon offered information for mercy played that into a pact. This one contributed and feels she made a mistake."

The white sith-makar looks up at Kaydin as he approaches the table, she smiles, "We are comfortable, the tea is warm, when Zeke remembers to drink it, the fare is good, the fire strong."

GAME: Zeke casts Detect Magic. Caster Level: 10 DC: 12

Zeke takes the chalace from Cryosanthia, holding it in his hand and focusing on it intently. He utters a few words softly in draconic which are recognizable as a request to the Dragonfather for clearer sight, and then turns the cup over in his claw carefully. Then, he seems to relax. "There isss no magic in it. It isss ssimply a chalice." His tail swishes in satisfaction and he nods his head to the rest of her words. "Thisss one would be unwilling to grant sssuch merscy to a demon; they are universsally evil, and undoubtably it will ssseek to do evil again."

He glances upwards as Kaydin approches them and nods politely but in a very unsithlike manner to the man. "Peassce on your nessst. Thisss one agreesss with Cryosssanthia; all isss well here."

"Did the dragonfather grant you clearer sight sir?" Kaydin asks curiously before he looks to Cryosanthia and nods. "I learned draconic in the event I run into dragons." He says as he smiles as he watches them. "No better guide then me to get you through the wood. I can even take you to the druid's grove." He says calmly.

Cryosanthia watches the procedure with interest. When Zeke declares the Chalice is safe, she relaxes further and grins, "Then this one can use it for soup! And yes, this one believes Ezil has entered great folly, but he would not be swayed off course. This one has no doubt it will enact horrors, given the chance. It does appear as a normal human, which is further distressing."

The white sith-makar grins at Kaydin, long snout, lots of teeth, yet somehow more friendly than threatening. "That's neat, because I'm a little dragon. I'm Cryosanthia, a speaker of the Sith-Makar. This is Zeke, Shaman and Scholar. I don't need to go to the Druid's grove today, but I would be interested in seeing it another time. Are you Out and In of this Inn often?""

Her manner of speaking is different, depending who she is addressing.

Zeke clearly agrees with Cryosanthia, his tail swishing with approval of her words. "Thisss one hassss met thisss one before, but not properly. Thisss one thanksss you Cryossanthia for the introduction. Do you -" He is about to say more when another sith-makar enters the room. This sith is outfitted in simple clothing of the sith variety, and bears blue scales that are a few shades brighter than Zeke's. She looks around the room and then spots Zeke and hurries over; glancing nervously at those others gathered around his table. Zeke for his part looks utterly terrified at the sight of her, his tail growing totally still and his eyes growing wide.

Her words when they come, are in draconic. "Maskurwarayuslih! Tell me that you don't mean to go! Tell me that you don't mean to do this to me after all this time! Tell me I am wrong!"

Kaydin nods "I do most of the hunting on wilderness point. Most hunters have no care for the animal life. They just focus on filling their bellies. I know enough of the wild to know which animals wont hurt the evironment." He says as he smiles at her. "I am Kaydin. I often do runs in the city for the druids and others who live in the wood." He says as he looks to Zeke. He lets the other sith talk to Zeke and tries to not look like he is eavesdropping. He then turns to Cryosanthia. "I would teach you about the woods but most of my knowledge is learned from living here. I grew up outside the city.

Cryosanthia is startled by the sudden arrival of another sith-makar. One she doesn't recognize at all, although the scale colours are suggestive. She finds she is sitting tall and proper in her seat, hands on the table edge, head turned directly at the blue woman. "Peace be..." She's still speaking trade.

Details are not escaping her, Zeke seems utterly undone. This may be his past reaching out. Negotiations, that's what I do. The white sith-makar stands to her full height so she can loom and look down on the blue woman as best she can. In draconic, and very forcefully she says, "Peace! On your Nest. This one is. Cryosanthia. This one. Speaks. For Zeke. Speak. TO ME."

A quick at Kayden, she has to step in here, then back to the interruption.

GAME: Cryosanthia rolls diplomacy: (16)+7: 23

Zeke is clearly unable to move, hardly able to speak. He manages a faint utterance of, "Nonantziné..." Which seems to be the woman's name.

She bristles at the sound of it, and looks Cryosanthia up and down. She's as tall as Zeke is, which makes her tall for a sith-makar, and she's clearly not intimidated. "Who are you to speak for /my/ son? Fine! Tell him in that dirty trade tongue and maybe he will understand! No one wants him. No one will claim him but me! He should come back to the nest where he belongs!" The blue-scaled woman is clearly irate, her frill ruffled and her tail lashing irritably behind her as she talks. <draconic>

"Sit. Eat. Drink. Breathe." Cryosanthia is relying on the old words, the old traditions to try and calm Nonantziné. She moves the teapot close to the blue sith woman, an offer of food. She looks at Kaydin with a glance that very clearly says another cup and some food would be great right now. Hopefully he gets it. The only unclaimed cup on this table is a Chalice with some demon blood dregs in the bottom. Probably not the best thing to give her. Cryo's words are softer and she moves to sit, to encourage the other woman to do so as well, "Please."

"He is big for a nest. Won't you trip? Why won't he be claimed?" <draconic>

"I guess She doesnt hold me in high regard." He says softly as he looks to the three sith and he looks around trying to find something interesting. HE then nods to Cryosanthia and leaves only to come back with a bowl of fruit and a large jug and a couple cups of tea. He then pours the cups with tea and offers it to the elder sith and then looks to the other two.

Zeke slowly, very slowly seems to regaining his control over himself, and his expression shifts from one of quiet terror to one of infinate sadness mingled with fear. He watches Nonantzine like a mouse watches a hawk; waiting to be devoured. Yet he doesn't have the courage yet to speak for himself, only shuddering at Cryosanthia's question as though it pains him and clutching at his tea with his right claw. Trying to remind himself not to break the poor object.

"He is Maskurwarayuslih, I named him so, so that he and others would always know. But he calls himself 'Zeke' and hides away his broken parts so that others will not see him for what he is. If he would only come back I could keep him safe, keep him from the harm he does to himself by thinking that he will be accepted. That he can /survive/ out in this world." The elder female explains this all more calmly, finally sitting down at the table and imperiously accepting the tea. Her green eyes are so like Zeke's, but they're boiling with barely contained rage. <draconic>

Cryosanthia smiles at Kaydin and bobs her head in thanks, gesturing for him to sit on the bench beside the older sith woman. Three on one side, one on the other would be intimidating. Two facing two is more equal and forces Nonantziné to recognize her support is from a softskin. If he gets in range, she will give him a quick tap-tap on the back of his hand. A gesture of thanks that also implies she is in control of him. Appearances. She also moves the Chalice from between Zeke and his mother, so there's one fewer things on the table, and also that any lingering demon taint won't involve itself. It still smells of blood.

"This one is glad to know him as Maskurwarayuslih. It will be remembered. He is accepted. This one values his insight. The world is harsh. Yet. A Clutch-Mother must let go. It is the hardest thing. To see hatchling turn to youngling turn to brightscale and to leave. This pain is yours to bear. You have known since the Egg. He survives. If he throws himself on thorns, it is his choice now. He is grown." The white sith is careful in her choice of words, she doesn't fully understand the situation. Zeke's mom has crazy eyes. There may be a good reason he keeps his distance, and no logic that will resolve it. <draconic>

Kaydin pours the teas and he looks to the three. He remains quiet for the longest time before he clears his throat and tries his hand to speak in draconic. "I cant imagine your pain...I am not the right gender to birth children, but I know there was a time my mother thought I had died and nearly destroyed the forest to bring the killer to justice. I learned that day not to play tricks on her." He says softly and looks to the mother. "I know I am not your people, but if you want, I can help keep an eye on your son." He says softly. <draconic>

"This one has already found People. This one has found kin." Zeke says finally, meeting the gaze of the other blue-scaled sith and ignores the reaction that this causes. "This one /will/ be chosen, and accepted Nonantziné..."

He is about to say more when the blue-scaled female suddenly lunges upwards from the chair she is sitting in to smack him across the face, uncaring of her sharp claws. "How dare you!?! How dare you all! How dare you think you can understand. Look at him!" She points at Zeke angrily. "He may be grown, but he is too broken for this world. I WILL take him back with me!" <draconic>

Cryosanthia reacts quickly. She lunges to block. It's an awkward reach across Zeke. She catches Nonantziné's wrist with her hand and gets clawed on her forearm. "No! You hurt him more than the world now. I see him. What is broken is remade."

And something snaps in her. Maybe those claws got through Cryo's thick hide. Maybe she's not over what happened with Ezil. Maybe a dungeon was not a great place to be today. Maybe something deeper. "WE ALL HAVE SCARS! WE HEAL. WE LIMP ON. SIT! SIT! SIT! SHUTUP! RAGE!"

She's standing, she's shaking, she's lost her words and fallen into growls. Her other hand transforms into dragon claws and she slams it on the table as hard as she can, gouging chunks. Her chest heaves and her eyes have the crazy.

Breathe Cryo, breathe. <draconic>

Kaydin gently places a hand on Cryosanthia to try and calm her. He then looks to the woman and he smiles. "He has made his choice. I wont let this world kill him." He says as he watches zeke and smiles. "Any friend of mind is looked after." <draconic>

It's clear from Zeke's rection that this is not entirely unexpected. He rolls off the bench away from the reaching hand which would surely have caught him across the face if not for Cryosanthia's timely intervention, and crouches somewhat away from them breathing heavy from his exertion. For all he moves carefully most of the time, this one motion proves how quickly and dexeriously he can move when he chooses to. His left claw and left leg are bare for the moment for everyone to see. Beautiful limbs made of the purest crystal shimmer in the firelight lay where usually scale would be. He rises to his feet and though he's clearly afraid he stares the woman who laid his egg down. "This one will /not/ allow you to harm this one's companions. Listen to Cryosantha; or leave."

The blue-scaled woman looks around at everyone and jerks her arm back. She seems a little cowed but not as much as she should be. She's just so certain of her rightness that its as though she can't see why Cryo is angry. Stiffly but silently she sits down, bristling with disapproval. <draconic>

Cryosanthia is breathing heavily, standing and not much moving from pose where she struck the table. Her hand is normal again, and while she has white dragon blood it's still taking her a moment to cool down. She 'bristles' a little when Kaydin touches her, it may have helped, or may not have.

"This. This Speaker. Apologizes." The white sith-makar says, slowly dropping back to the bench. Her body trembles, lingering rage, lingering fear, mixing badly. Her scent clear to the other sith and to a human she likely stinks like a lizard. "Nonantziné. Maskurwarayuslih can not be what you named him in his Egg. You would have doomed him. Thus, you renamed him. Thus, he renamed himself. What has happened can not be changed. He has let go. Moved. You must let go. Move. He will not be a hale brightscale ever again, but you see, he moves well. He will grow into a great scarleg. See him as strangers see him. See the gleaming drake." <draconic>

Kaydin remains silent as the others speaks. He takes a fruit and begins to eat it, sipping his tea as well. He remains quiet and watches the goings on. It isnt like anyone is listening to him anyway, so yea.

Suddenly the blue-scaled female rises to her feet, and glares at you all. "I will not do what will end in the death of my son. One day he will see the light and he will return to my nest." She looks at Zeke firmly as if she might drag him off right then and there, but then turns and walks out.

With her gone Zeke relaxes and he offers a half-bow to Cryosanthia and Kaydin. "This one thanks you for your words, and your gestures of friendship. This one apologizes for her, and her behavior. It is... a long story." He sighs and a waitress comes over to talk to him briefly, informing him that his room is ready and he hands her the bag of books and scrolls. "One that this one does not have time to tell. This one must go to the gathering in tonight." <draconic>

Cryosanthia watches reason bounce off the blue woman. Her raving, her sudden departure, as violent as her appearance. Her abandonment of protocol. "Peace be upon your nest." Cryosanthia muttes to emptiness. Exhaling and looking down. Her breathing is normal again. She nods at Zeke's explanation, "Clutch-Mothers are."

She has words for him though.

"Zeke. You should not hide your limbs. Do this at the Ceremony. Own your scars. Be proud. This will be seen. This will be known." Cryo rubs at her arm where Nonantziné struck her, fiddling with the armour which covers her markings. Her voice is quiet. "This one knows. It is hard to do so. Try." <draconic>

She reaches across the table and pats Kaydin's hand, slowly bowing to him, speaking in Trade, "Thank you for your assistance. It helped. Some things only sith-makar can deal with, and even then, not." She makes a small smile and wobbles her head, "I would love to see the forest and druid ways with you, but cannot tonight. It is... not a good idea to touch an angry sith, but.. thanks."

Kaydin finishes his tea and nods. "Sorry." He says as he watches the woman. "Peace to your nests." He says hoping he isnt butchering the well wishing phrase.

Zeke looks at Cryosanthia oddly and then down at himself and realizes suddenly that he is showing his crystal limbs to this place. Hastily he draws his cloak about him, but her words give him pause and he half reaches for his left arm with his right; almost touching but not quite. "Perhapsss." Perhaps she was right. He meets her gaze though solidly. "Can you bear your own ssscarsss ssso proudly?"

He suddenly holds up his right claw to forestall her answer. "No, forgive thisss one for asssking, it wassss rude. Thisss one iss... upssset and nervousss. Thisss one..." Zeke sighs and nods to Kaydin. "Peassce on your nessstsss, thisss one sshould be on onesss way." With that he turns to go.

"Peace on your nest." Cryosanthia grins back at Kaydin, her head tilted slyly. Her voice is teasing with a rising hopeful tone at the end."Do you a nest, do Druids sleep in trees? I don't know. I keep getting told not to bless nests that aren't there, but, you might?"

And then Zeke's question hits, her eyes lock with his, and she shuts up. There is hypocrisy to her words and he is right to call her out on it. She watches him leave silently, looking down. "No."

A moment goes by, she packs up her things. Zeke had asked for his stuff to be moved to his room, so Cryo reminds the inkeeper that should happen now. Then she stands in front of the fire, warming herself and looking into the flames. She shakes herself off, standing taller. She gives a final nod to the humans left in the inn. "This one has to go now. Be well."

Dramatis Personae

Kaydin
The man before you has wavy blonde hair, which seems to cover his blue eyes. He has fair skin and pointed ears which betrays his elven heritage. He is also tall, definatly leaning towards the more human part of his parentage. He wears leathers and furs and clothing hand stitched and made by inexperienced hands. He carries a pack with him at all times and as such is putting things into it.

Zeke
This sith-makar has scales of a deep blue color, a touch dark particularly toward the extremities but still very clearly blue. Six large sweeping horns adorn Zeke’s head, the forward two are more vertical but those after the first set follow the shape of Zeke’s head with a little sway. There are small scars around the base of each horn, as well as around each claw. Their source seems to be self-inflicted and nearly decorative rather than caused by combat however.
Zeke wears a chain shirt mostly hidden under layers of robes in shades of black and gray, and is usually hooded in a cloak of the same color. The robes are sheared short just around the hips and cover a pair of black kapri-style pants slit up the side of the leg and tied with a thick midnight-blue string. Zeke also wears an odd arm-slip up the arm that is not made of crystal.
Had that not been mentioned before? Both the left arm and leg of this sith-makar are made of a beautiful crystal that gleams brightly. The arm is bare from the shoulder down for the convenience of getting it in and out of clothing, but is usually covered by the fall of Zeke’s cloak.
