Player Run Plots (PRPs) are a welcome contribution to Tenebrae! Player Run Plots are IC events that involve a player acting as a PRP runner who is telling a story. These stories can range dramatically in scope; all we ask is that PRPs make an attempt to stay within theme! (Ask a staffer if you're unsure!)
We offer several types of PRPs: Standard PRPs, Death Consent PRPs, Meetups, and Personal Ongrid PRPs (POPs). A Standard or Death Consent PRP can be anything from an emitted scene of a bar room brawl to a dungeon crawl. Meetups are pre-planned RP-focused scenes with little or no conflict, which can range from getting together to discuss a longer-running plot or a themed celebration. POPs are player-driven storylines that take place on the grid, focusing on character development.
We recommend that most plots with combat encounters (such as Standard and Death Consent PRPs) concentrate their efforts into different tiers of gameplay. These tiers are: levels 2-5 (T1), levels 6-10 (T2), levels 11-15 (T3), and levels 16-20 (T4).
The only type of PRP that requires pre-approval is a Death Consent (DC) PRP. All other types of PRP don't require any permission at all to run!
