Morning, Temple District
"Look on the bright side, hatchling, this just means MORE sun!"
"That doesssn't make it any better... the sssnow is ssstill gone!"
It's a sleepy morning, with the grey skies and hanging curtain of mist from spring blanketing the city. A pair of voices echo down from the steps leading to the Sun Lord's grounds, one righteous, the latter sibilant and bassy. Talons clacking against the cobblestone, a towering figure of silver has a drooped gait: tail hanging low and dragging along the ground, the cryohydra head on his shoulder sagging. He seems to have a simple new addition to his getup: a white and gold tabard with a dragon's profile on it, but is easily a few sizes too small and ends at his gut.
"Oh, don't be such a downer. Be happy! We praised the Dragonfa-"
"-the Dragonfather for hisss risssing yesss yesss, but that doessssn't bring back the ssssnow...!"
This titanic figure pouts, and drops themselves on a bench, the wood creaking and groaning in protest.
"The thing about snow.", says a little scratch voice, from somewhere below the Silverscale. "Is that it always returns about a year later." There's a yawning sound, and a little unladylike grunt followed by popping and cracking sounds.
There's a thump sound, and a little "oof".
"Where am I, anyways? This fog messes with even my vision.". A rustle of cloth and then a little gasp. "Brrr!"
Sun! Sun! So much sun! And the snow was gone- oh, there was something particularly bright and shiny in the distance. Humming with a step, Aelwyn raised his burning glaive over his shoulder and strode over with a poignantly cheerful step.
"Silver!" The Dragoon greets from a long distance, "How can this have missed the glorious shine of the day for so long!" Yes, he had to learn how to use big words like glorious more frequently. "... though why the sullen look?"
The goblin receives a polite bow from his head. "Red."
It wasn't uncommon for temples and stonework in the district to be adorned with various statues and grotesques, but what was a bit more unusual was for such stonework to be draped in robes, or lying on their side with their tail drooped over the edge of the building.
"Long time no see Skiel, why the longer face than usual?" The small makari calls over, dangling from the roof as they work on lowering themselves down.
A certain sildanyari figure leaves the Temple of Gilead with a stranger in tow: someone carrying a large shepherding dog like a baby, a proud creature whose ears are back in the tell-tale sign of happiness. "Thank you again," the man carrying the dog says. "Curtis appreciates it, too."
Corey laughs almost nervously. "Please, no thanks needed," he replies. "Be careful with your gratitude, even to people who've healed your shepherd dog." And here, his silver eyes sparkle with mirth as he looks at the dog. "Curtis _is_ a very good boy, though."
The Warden of Gilead gives Curtis a pet between the ears--which earns him a happy little lick on the hand--and the farmer gives a polite farewell. Corey sighs happily before he looks across the way and...
Shiny silver scales. Maybe silver-eyed sildanyari was destined to meet silver-scaled sith-makar. Or maybe it's just all that racket. He approaches Skielstregar, brows creased in worry. "Is everything all right?" he asks. "Sorry, I couldn't help but notice..." _All the yelling._ That part doesn't need saying. "Please, if there's any way I can help, let me know."
Skiel blinks as he looks down at one of his legs. Gingerly, he reaches over with two fingers and pinches the collar of the figure, tugging them back and away. "Sssa, be careful," he rumbles. "Thisss one hasss many sharp thingsss." Release. "But you are in templesss of the sstone city."
His head perks at hearing the voice, and near instantly his grump is lifted. Leaving the wicked looking halberd to lean against the bench, Skielstregar briskly closes the distance towards Aelwyn with arms open. "Dragoon Aelwyn! Peasse on your nessst!" Oh no, here it comes! Big Skiel hug! "Bah. It isss nothing important, jussst lamenting the sssnowsss are gone. For now."
He places Aelwyn back down, head quirking up to a nearby building. "Shaman Eztli?" he calls out, squinting a bit. "Isss that you? It iss hard to see through all this. Shape isss different. No matter- get down and thisss one will greet you properly!"
Seeing someone approach and inquire of problems. "All isss fine, better now with friendsss here," he grins, flashing his fanged teeth in a very-off-putting-but-trying-be-kind way."
The Goblin squawks as she's pulled by collar, and she flails her hands at the Silverscale, hands blurring momentarily. "Well who just suddenly stops moving in the middle of the road... er, middle of the temple? Honestly." She huffs. "I don't think you have anything sharp down here, boyo. Hmm, the temples? Which one? And why are you so cold? Wouldn't you want the warmth, instead of the cold."
Her eyes narrow at Aelwyn, and she snorts. "Ah, Aelwym. It's been a while." Her arms cross. "How've you been?"
The farmer and dog are observed, and then her eyes go to Corey. "Are you a vet?", she wonders.
Oh no, spine popping incoming. Still, Aelwyn steels himself and accepts the hug with a wide, macabre grin. Yep, that was his spine getting resettled. "Hnnh! Yet there is much more than that... cold..." He grimaces, "... white, snow in this world! Like sun!" He gestures at the sky. If it was only visible. And down on the ground again. "We must share news over crossing of blades again, Silver, now that one has come out of their freeze!"
"Tch, one should not worry of Silver and warmth. They seem the opposites, Red," He explains to Choler, before adding, "And has she come to medidate?"
The Dragoon looks up and then leans his glaive over his shoulder, "Spelldancer is simply showing off at this point," He chides with a click of his teeth, and turns to look at the new stranger. "Stranger," He greets Corey.
GAME: Eztli rolls fly: (8)+8: 16
"Yes, just one moment!" Eztli calls over, dangling for a moment off the edge as their wings start flapping madly. So much so that they lose their grip and drop to the ground with just enough lift to avoid completely faceplanting on the ground.
"Oh, hey Aelwyn! I'm not showing off, it just so happens that the temple of daeus was built in an area that gets a lot of sunlight. Who would have thought?" The small sorceress laughs as she wanders over to the bench. "Good idea, he's been threatening to challenge you for a while now!"
Eztli turns and waves to the elf that was nearby. "Hey, good to see you again. Seeing a man about a dog?"
"A vet?" Corey asks of Choler, raising a brow--and then he does mental math. Apparently he arrives at a conclusion. "Sorry, trade's my third language. Do you mean a veterinarian? Someone who heals animals? If so, I suppose I am, but as a function of my position as a Warden of Gilead." Here, Corey beams brightly.
That smile grows wider as Eztli addresses him. "Hello again! I was helping that nice shepherd with his beloved dog. The Temple of Gilead tends to many sick and injured animals, so it's common for farmers and shepherds to travel to Alexandria for us to tend to their wounded."
Then he realizes exactly how many here don't know him, so he offers a winning smile to all. "Pardon my rudeness. I'm Cor'ethil Cari'thana of Llyranost--Warden of Gilead. Err, please call me Corey. I know that all's a bit of a mouthful. May I have the pleasure of meeting all of you?"
"Thisss one wasss sssitting," Skiel gestures. "Maybe need to go sseee eyessss? They make glass to put in front of eyessss to sssee better..-" He blinks. "You asssk many quessstionsss. Thisss one isss with cold because they are sssilver." As if that's all the explanation that was needed.
He pats Aelwyn on the shoulder, grinning down at him. "Sssa, we should, thisss one would like that. But, ssshowing off...?" He cranes his head up- and dead silver eyes go wide as wings splay out. "By the ancessstorsss, and thisss one thought their own blood wasss strong! Ssshaman! Peassse on your nessst!" he guffaws, reaching out to give Eztli the same spine realigning hug that Aelwyn got. "If the Dragoon wissshess to challenge, thisss one can tesst them again!"
Smallkari released, Skiel makes a motion with his hand as if he was going to grab something in the air. He blinks, looks at the space, then back at the bench before huffing and stooping to pick up the wicked weapon. "Ve... vetern.. vetternai... animal shaman," Skiel mumbles to himself, trying to sound out the word. Seems like Trade isn't his first tongue either. He shakes his head, turning to Corey. Something feels off about the large silverscale, looking at him now. Something that stays even as he grins and rises to his full height. "Sssa, thisss one isss Ssskielssstregar, Warrior cassste! Ssservant of the Dragonfather!" he beats his chest twice, clanging this metal. "And thisss here isss Maleifc."
The halberd, despite the creepy cracked smile going across the axehead, remains inert. Skiel rolls his eyes. "Thisss one isss pleasssed to meet you!"
Choler peers at Aelwyn, and she shakes her head. "It would be difficult to meditate here with so many others doing the same. The calm would disturb my inner balance." She gives a start as one of the statues seems to fall off the roof... only to float awkwardly down on wings. "Stay back, one of the statues has come to life!" The Goblin strikes a defensive pose... until Eztli speaks in a familiar tone to Aelwyn, Skiel and Corey. "Oh. Someone actually alive, not some golem coming to kill us all. Hmmmm..."
She nods at Corey, "Yes, someone who cares for sick animals, much like a cleric or doctor cares for sick people."
The Gobbo's gaze go to Skiel. "My eyes work just fine!", she grumps. "You were walking and then just sat down. The mists make things awkward sometimes. They tend to lay low. I'm not exactly tall, in case you'd not noticed." Little arms cross and she frowns. "You are cold because you are silver? That makes absolutely no sense. None of my silver coins are cold..."
Aelwyn turns his head curiously at Choler. "Ah, but Goblintown is not?" The very small ruddy sith-makari takes an unintentional turned intentional step forward from the slap on his shoulder. "And when one does test, they shall test a Cavalier!" Aelwyn announces with no less than three inches of chest puffing. "... this one is certain." He spins his flaming glaive in amused fashion, before he settles down onto one hip and tilts his head at Corey. Slowly, his lips move as he attempted to mouth the words. "... Aelwyn, a Dragoon, the one who dances with fire. A pleasure, Mouthful." The draconian then bows his head at the sildanyari. "This one already met them once at that... unfortunate incident. It is good to see one standing again."
Then the Dragoon angrily stares at Eztli. "Showing off _and_ getting all the sun? Tch, how can this be nothing but?" He replies, with a click of his teeth and then a flash of his teeth. "At least have the common decency to be flashy about it."
The other small makari is equally crushed by Skielstregar, flapping a bit madly with their wings until they're set down. "It has been a while, thanks Skiel, probably helped with how sore my back is! After it stops feeling sore from the hug at least." She laughs. "Nope! Not a statue, and not a show off, usually. Maybe I'll drag you up there next time, if I could carry you Aelwyn. Worth a shot I'd say?"
"Good work, there. Name's Eztli since I don't know at least one person here!"
Corey flushes a little at being called 'mouthful', but he shakes his head like he's a dog trying to shake off water. The flush vanishes quickly. "It is a pleasure to meet all of you, truly," he says.
He peers at Skielstregar a moment more. "Malefic! A fine name for a halberd. Oh, they're pleased to meet me, too?" It's strange. He seems to accept that very readily. "Do you speak to all weapons and armor, or just this one?"
Choler gets a relieved look. "I'm glad I got it right," he says, bashfully. "It's hard to keep track of everything. I'm just thankful I have a very patient partner who helps me if I get the occasional word wrong in trade. He's human." There's a warm smile on his face for that mention.
"Yes, Aelwyn, Goblintown is perfect for meditation precisely because it is so noisy and chaotic. How can you find silence when it's all around you?" Choler tsks then. "It sounds like you are jealous of someone's wings, and their closer proximity to the big ball of burning gasses in the sky. Careful, you don't want your scales to turn green."
She offers a shy wave to Eztli, "I am Choler. Not Red like Nickname over here says." A little snort is heard. "Nothing wrong with showing off a little. If I could fly, I definitely would show off. One should be allowed to have a modicum of pride in something they can do well. Like, this guy here, the one talking to himself... he should get all the awards for how shiny he is. If it weren't for the mists, I could probably see myself perfectly reflected in his scales."
The Goblin cants her head slightly, grinning at Corey. "You needn't worry about getting it wrong. Oh, you have a partner helping you with the trading tongue. Are you a travelling vet, then? You mentioned Gilead, so, you travel to different temples, tending to sick animals? That sounds like many good deeds, yes?" She looks once more to the Silverscale.
"Oh. You're not talking to yourself, but to uhm... your weapon. And it talks back?"
Skiel scratches his head. The calm would disturb inner balance? That made no sense. The Gobber's panic doesn't stoke Skiel's alarm, him lazily looking between the hug-crushed Eztli and Choler with a shrug and a half smile. "Everyone isss sssmall to thisss one. But uh- yesss. Red and brass kin are warm. Silver and white kin are cold. Ssshaman isss um, warm cold? Icy hot?" he looks at Eztli. "Ssshaman isss very blessed."
He watches Aelwyn show off a little, a rumble of approval echoing in his chest. "A Cavalier? Thisss one isss not familiar with that word- but thisss one isss happy for you regardless!"
A shift to Corey, followed by a deep bark of a laugh. "HAH! No, jussst Maleifc. They are being coy. I'm not sure- maybe?" Skiel looks down at Malefic. Nothing. He shrugs at Choler and Corey. "Thisss one does. But sssometimes they don't say anything. Thiss one is going to guess-"
There's a sound of metal grinding and groaning, before a growling voice barks, "BOO!"
The silverscale flails and makes a 'hurk'ing sound, dropping the weapon as it clatters to the ground and rolls about. "BWAHAHAHA! Got you! Hahahaha! Ahhhh. Good. I needed that. Pleased to meet you."
Aelwyn stares at Skielstregar and Malefic as they do the whole routine, and then with a macabre grin saunters closer. "And a pleasure, Malefic - this one's glaive is eager to match blades again." And if it were sentient, the flaming glaive definitely would not.
The Dragoon turns his head towards Choler and tilts his head. "Hmm, this one supposes - but this one would never grow green scales." He twists his face. "Only with scalerot." And he flashes his teeth at Eztli. "She can try! And perhaps she should. The closer to the sun, the less there is risk of turning green."
But! More importantly, he saw something. The draconian casually sounders over Corey and then attempts to lean against him. "... so, how big of a 'Mouthful', Mouthful?" He with a casual flicker of his tongue.
"And hello to you too, Malefic! I can't believe I forgot to say hi." Eztli laughs, waving to the weapon as she takes a step away. "Blessed, weird, many ways to say it. But I'm just as happy in the dead of winter as the peak of summer, so, gotta take the benefits where you can!"
"How is the application going by the way, Aelwyn? Need any pointers? I know I'm not the best source of noble information, but I try my best."
The surprise of Malefic saying boo has Corey blinking rapidly for a few seconds, before he frowns a little. "Oh no," he says. "Skielstregar, are you all right? Do you need anything? That must have been quite the scare." It seems the man's a tiny bit of a worrywart.
To Choler, he smiles. "Well, it's not my only purpose. But yes, I am a traveling paladin of Gilead. I grew up and served the Beast King in Llyranost, but then I met my nightingale, and... Well, we fell in love, and I wished to learn all about the world beyond the Greatwoods." That smile of his is bright and wide. "For the moment, we seem to have settled in Alexandria, and I'm currently involved with helping the Archmage Lupecyll-Atlon regarding the mages who have fled from the arcanist's dungeons. As a Warden, I am tasked with ensuring nature is unspoilt by those who seek to exploit it and corrupt it, and to defend the world against aberration and evil." He takes this oath quite seriously, as his voice is like steel suddenly.
With Aelwyn's remark, Cor'ethil flushes again--it is apparently remarkably easy to get the paladin of Gilead to turn a slightly darker shade on his pale skin--and he clears his throat before speaking again. "I'm flattered," he says, "but my nightingale and I are bonded solely to each other, and... a gentleman does not boast." He smiles politely and takes a step away from Aelwyn. "But you are a nice man, and I hope your attentions are successful elsewhere."
Skielstregar shakes off the spook, him scowling at the weapon rolling around and laughing. "Feh," he chuffs.
"Hahahaha! Ahhh. Hello. Greetings and warm blessing of our Lord the Dragonfather upon you," Malefic deems to the others, coming to a standstill.
The silverscale deems to leave the weapon on the ground, perhaps as punishment. But he reaches out for Aelwyn, slooowly dragging him back, as if anticipating Aelwyn's antics already. "What noble information? Can information be noble...?" he muses aloud.
"Thisss one is fine, Malefic tendsss to be... what isss word. Enigmatic?"- "I am open as a book."- "Ssa, enigmatic" he rumbles to Corey. "Ah, Massster of Beastsss. He isss welcomed much in Am'ssshere- oh, you know of the Shaman Telamonsss? Thisss one isss good friendsss with him and hisss mate," his tail sways happily. "What kind of magesss fled?"
"Oh. I see. Colours are an indicator of uhm... temperature?" The Goblin runs a hand through her messy hair. "That uhm... so what are blue Sith, then? Are they cold like ice, but not too cold? Or are they much warmer than red, much like how you can mess with chemicals to make fire so hot it goes white and blue?" She blinks, and tries very hard not to smile as Skiel is startled by his polearm. Tsking, she bends down to pick up Malefic. Frowning, she does manage to get the butt end of the handle to a point where Skiel can grab it. "Tch, a weapon shouldn't startle its owner and user. This guy looks very strong, you wouldn't want to startle him so much that he throws you a couple of countries over, right? It's a loooong slog to find you after that."
Aelwyn gets a frown. "Well be careful then, because jealousy can cause scalerot, or so I have been told." She grins toothily at at the ruddy-scale before glancing to Eztli. "So how come you have wings, and these two fellows haven't?"
Choler smiles brightly at Corey, and nods. "Aww, well, you will save yourself some time by being in her in Alexandria. Certainly much of the world travels through her port and gates. So if you like people-watching, this is the place for it. Erm, have you seen the Grove to the north? There are druids there, they would welcome you, I think. At the very least, you can get some delicious stew, and sleep quite heavily too. A nice place to visit!" She blinks a moment, and then giggles.
"Don't worry about him, he certainly gets around."
"Oh, I cetainly had some warm blessings from the dragonfather. Hopefully with minimal sacrilege." The small makari laughs. "Yeah, don't worry about him, he'll manage, I'm sure."
"Ah, yeah, I heard about that in the paper, nasty business. Making a bad name for people with magic in the area." Eztli sighs. "If I find any of them, well, might hope they aren't too bad, but hopefully I'd be able to do something about it at this point, you know?"
Eztli gives Choler a small shrug. "Couldn't tell you with any level of specifics, unfortunately." They admit. "Strong blood, whatever that means would be the best explanation? Someone in the family tree was blessed by a dragon, or something of that sort, most likely. Not that uncommon in Dragonier, honestly."
Aelwyn spreads his arms - despite being slowly dragged back - and smiles in a very macabre fashion at Corey. "Ah, but this one adores bonds! Whereas boasting would presume something to be untrue, whilst this one is only interested in the truth." He rumbles in amusement. "Now, this one can only request the sky to bless the Lovebirds." Then he finally glances up at Skielstregar. What? His questioning tilt of his head seemed to say.
The Dragoon slowly steps away from the larger Makari and clicks his teeth at Eztli. "Ah, this one has been in search of a shoulder cloth fit for a noble, but this one shan't despair." He turns towards Skielstregar. "Softskin concepts." He explains. But then he bows his head graciously and then starts to turn away. "This one has to attend to that, but may the sun grace all." He saunters away, with that slow rolling gait of his.
Corey seems legitimately grateful that Aelwyn would ask the sky to bless his relationship with his nightingale. "I appreciate your offer of such," he says, and he waves in parting to Aelwyn as the makari departs.
On the subject of mages, Cor'ethil smiles, but it's a smile tinged with that serious purpose of his. "There's a number of them, with different specialties," he says. "I've signed up for one mission through the Explorers' Guild to hunt down an Urvis Ironshanks, but I encourage any and all here to sign up for that expedition or any other if you're interested. Archmage Telamon "
At the mention of the grove, Corey's eyes are alight in excitement. "You know," he says, "I actually haven't managed to make it out that way. Maybe I'll try and go sometime soon..."
There's someone who approaches the group then. A little girl, human, holding a little kitten that's colored black, orange, and brown all over. Her big eyes are leaking tears. "Hello, sir? Are you with the Temple of Gilead? I just found this baby. I found her in the alley by my house... And she was walking kind of funny and crying. Can you help?"
Corey smiles benevolently, holding out his hands for the little kitten. "I certainly can," he says. "Here, let's go in the Temple." Over his shoulder, he looks to the group. "So sorry, but duty calls! I'll speak to all of you again soon."
Kitten mews trail behind the paladin of Gilead as he returns to the Temple to tend to tortie-colored kitten.
"They are sparky," Skielstregar answers easily, like it was common knowledge with no further explanation.
Malefic tuts. "I can do what I wish; we had a deal, I endure the cold for the winter, and I get the spring in the temples-! Hey, that's my haft! At least you can lift me! Give me a swing!"
Skiel reaches over with a lofty sigh, a gout of frozen air wafting out of his nose as he scoops up the proffered weapon. "Thank you," he hums to Choler, pulling Malefic close and locked in the crook of his arm. "Trussst me, thisss one couldn't get rid of Malefic if they tried."
"The Dragon Lord will guide me to bite his tail if he throws me." Malefic chomps down on Skiel's pauldron. He is utterly unfazed, as if this is a common occurrence. "Thiss one would ssay it isss a blesssing, Ssshaman. Sssome kin have sssuch features, very rare. But it can happen!"
Skiel gives a wave to Aelwyn as he departs, but his eyes squint at Corey briefly. "Ironshanksss. Familiar name. Thisss one thinksss they may have crossed pathsss before. Thisss one iss not very good at remembering thingsss. Regardless, rampant bad magicsss isss not good."
"I bit him once, he was weak," Malefic says.
Skiel gives a little laugh at the little one needing to be tended to. "Ah, yesss. You are in good handsss little hatchling. Be sssafe. Peassse on your nessst!" He waves.
Choler squints at Aelwyn, and offers a wave as the Sith saunters away. She then moves in close, to peer at the kitten with a soft 'Awwww.' Corey also gets a little wave, "It was nice meeting you!"
She eyes Skiel, and nods, "It was no trouble. At least, not as much trouble as this weapon seems to be." She snorts. "Weapons shouldn't bite their owners and users either. I guess having scales instead of hair can be a good thing after all... must make it harder for him to bite you."
The Goblin leans in closer to the Sith and whispers. "Who is Archmage Telamon? I mean... I've read about him and uhm, I don't really know where one would find him. The Crimson Pen seems to know him well." She looks to Eztli. "So what, you're just going along and sudden RIP! you have wings? It's random?"
"Oh, some more clothes for meeting them? Well, you have to consider their station, but it's more important to look put together at the end of the day, especially since you don't really know them yet." Eztli begins listing off, before realizing Aelwyn was on his way. "Ah, later Aelwyn! You'll have to let me go clothing shopping with and live vicariously through you at some point." She laughs, waving the dragoon off.
"I'll keep that in mind and watch for things going on." Eztli nods. "I know, it's mostly a good thing, but it's such a pain sometimes. It's hard enough to find clothes for makari in alexandria, harder to find clothes for smaller makari in alexandria, and throw wings into the mix? I just gave up and got some magic sleeves to wear so I actually have something to wear."
"Work's never done in these temple districts, it seems. Take care, Corey! And don't you worry, I'm sure they're in good hands." She waves again. "Something like that, Choler. Wasn't exactly pleasant, pretty bloody, so I haven't really messed around with it too much, one time is good for me with that."
"Thisss is not biting," Skiel gestures to the weapon clamped on his shoulder. "Thisss is a nibble. Isss form of affection in makari culture. Bessides, they know thisss one bitesss harder."
Malefic detaches. "He bites much harder."
"Ssshaman Telamon? He isss good friend. Very good with magicsss. Can find him in Shaman school-"
"Arcanists' Society," Malefic butts in, translating.
"Sssa. Very good man. Busy. But good."
There's a wince that lances across Skiel as Eztli mentions how they got wings. "... thisss one can manifest wingsss with magicsss, but it isss not like that. That sssoundss... ow. At leassst they look nice?" he smiles, not being subtle at all at rubbing his upper back where wings would sprout.
Choler blinks slowly at Skiel. "That's a bite whether or not he can do it harder. That 'nibble' would probably cut me in half, or take my head off." She rubs at her face and shakes her head. "You Sith are odd."
To Eztli, she nods. "Painful, I can get that. But uh, it's still neat though, right? Unless you're scared of heights. Then is must be pretty terrifying." She looks back at Skiel. "Oh, you know where he lives? Would you take me to him, and introduce me? I'll help him look for this Ironshanks guy. Is that guy any relation to Ironguts?"
"I get it, to be honest, I'm really, really not a fan of the biting, either." Eztli admits, the makari even shivering a bit as she stops to consider it. "Anyways! Yeah, not an experience I really want to reexperience in a hurry, not by a long shot. Don't mind them most of the time though! Heights are no problem, and beats getting stuck in the crowds in the streets on most days."
"If you know where he lives and you've got the time, might as well help, right? I've got to run a few errands, unfortunately. I've heard the gardens are really nice there."
"Softkinsss are odd," Skiel easily fires back, grinning with wicked fangs on morbid display. "But the differencesss are what makesss coming here very fun!"
He gives Eztli a look, inhaling briefly before affixing her with a worried gaze. But then, he's being asked questions. "Ah, yesss, thisss one can show where Ssshaman ssschool isss. They there can tell where he isss."
He pulls Malefic free, and plants the butt of them onto the ground as if it were a walking stick. "Very well! Thisss one can do that. Peassse on your nessst Ssshaman Eztli. Come, Choler, let usss go seek out the learned landssss."
Malefic slooooowly comes down to nibble on Eztli's horn, maw carefully opening wide- and is jerked away by Skiel, him looking off down the road. "Thiss one hopesss to see you again!"
Choler glares at Skielstregar, a glaring of a lifetime, for several long moments, before she bursts out giggling. She pauses a moment, before slapping the shiny Sith on the shin. "You're okay in my books." She offers Eztli a wave as Skiel makes to go. "See you around, Eztli, take care!" She follows along in Skiel's wake, still giggling lightly.
