WIth the Red Wastrels captured, the guards have seen to getting them manacled and in the watch station. So far, so good.

Something isn't adding up, however, and that's why the Guards have retained you, and that's why you're meeting with one of them at the watchtower to talk about waht's been going on so far. You're just arriving now.


Arynne is there all right....and she's watching the Red Wastrels rather intently. She keeps quiet, but she also keeps to herself as she watches them.


The guard don't seem to be the only one skeptical about the Wastrels and that curiosity is enough to keep Ravakko on the line. The dark oruch poking around the guardtower, and making odd small talk with the guardsmen about hunting, slaughtering great beasts, and other oruch habits.


Sargon steps up next to Arynne. He examines Red Wastrels first. Then he turns his red-yed gaze upon the guards, sizing them up.


You're shown to the office of the inspector, a rather aggravated (and perhaps aggravating if her reputation is to be believed) woman by the name of Naviari.

She sits up in her chair, putting down her apple on your arrival, and proceeds to grunt.

"Well, about time. Right, then. take a seat. We're going to go over what we know."


Arynne looks at everyone that are a lot taller than she is. "I'll stand. I look like I'm sitting anyways."


Sargon pulls a chair back a few inches and sits down. At first he tries to pull up his legs and sit cross-legged but can't manage it and finally sits normally, albiet stiff-backed.


Ravakko is still rather new to the city and its ways, and while it's clear from his hesitiation the oruch would prefer to stand, he instead takes a seat, his hands folding in his lap as he looks to the inspetor. "Right, very well." the grey warrior agrees with a snort, his fingers coiling into fists to crack his knuckles, "Who goes first? You? Us?"


"First," the dark-haired Guardswoman says, "let's go over waht we know. A short time ago, a deal between two merrchant consortiums went awry. An attack on them in the New Horizons Airship, where two assassins were captured. They confessed that a member of the Red Wastrels had been either the direct employer or intermediary. We were able to verify that they believed this to be the truth."

She lets out a sigh. "You were at the attack on the New Horizons, would you care to recap the event for the others?" A gesture at the rest of those present as she addresses Ravakko.


Arynne sits and listens. She wasn't there.


Kalkorth stands in the back with his arms crossed over his chest listening to what's going on. He's heard about some attacks, but never in any detail.


Ravakko, unfurls his fists and flexes his fingers as the Inspector points him out, the oruch taking a moment to set his jaw in consideration before replying, "The guild had sold our services to protect these merchants. From attack, from each other, maybe from throwing themselves off the ship . . . just general removal of threats while they yelled at one another about whatever it is they do." The dark skinned oruch glances to his right, taking stock of his new companions then looking back to the city official, "The room they were in got eerily quiet, so we checked in on them to make sure they hadn't strangled each other. We discovered there was magic afoot, and assassins in the midsts. So, we gave em what for. Don't remember much of the fight, but there was a bad fella that got his organs turned into wall decorations in the fight."


Deak listens, too. The hearthguard came along, but has so far been content to observe.


Gregor stands by quietly and stoicly, listening to the briefing.


The guardswoman chokes on her drink at Ravakko's colorful description.

"Yes. It's the magic that had us concerned. Hiring someoine like that is way out of the Red Wastrel's league, as is this work in the first place. We had thoughts that, perhaps, someone was using them as the middle man, but they haven't been willing to talk. Clammed right up, all of them. We're concerned, because it seems like most of them are WAY in over their heads."

She lets out a sigh. "They're trouble and mischief makers, not murderes."

Shara says, "Which means either they have infiltrators, or they're being paid more than their common sense can handle."


Gregor grumbles something about the level of mischief they've gotten into being a bit more than mischief, but says nothing aloud, waiting for more.


Sargon raises his eyebrows slightly as he listens. He draws back slightly snd rubs his chin. "I don't understand any of this," he admits. "Well, just this: you mean for us to interrogate them?"


"They are pups out of their league." Ravakko says sharply, "But for them there is still honor amongt the thieves, so it does not surprise me that they have decided to remain silent." The oruch wide nose wrinkles, the skin around the bridge crinkling about the brass bracket set there, "I believe the songweaver has the right of it . . . or perhaps just one has gotten in too deep, and the others do not understand the seriousness of the situation." Shoulders lift in a shrug, a gesture exaggerated by his huge oruchish frame.


"It's possible," agrees the watchwoman. "The question is which one? How do we isolate them? Just threatening them won't work. We need a plan. And I'm open to your game plans here, even if the final decisino is mine. Don't hestiate to offer an idea if you want one."


Deak offers, "Perhaps they have simply not yet been persuaded in the right manner. I rather think that if fear is binding their tongues, some of us may have means of reassuring them."


Gregor wonders, "Do you have a rack? Thumbscrews can also be effective..." He speaks in a tone of one just suggesting. "Have you arrested their families yet?"


Shara says, "Well....." Offers Shara. "....perhaps if we separate them....and talk to them." She then looks to Gregor. "Fear is keeping them silent. We don't want to replace fear with more fear.""


Kalkorth shakes his head, "There is no honor in torture and anyone that tries it here will have a conversation with me and my greataxe." He rubs his chin, "We could get them drunk, some people don't shut up when they are drunk."


"Hang them uspide down," Sargon contributes. The blood will rush to their heads and they will lkse the sense to be deceitful.


The guardswoman gives Gregor a /flat/ look. "We are not torturers and these are mischief making teenagers. Torturing the wrong ones is a sure thing long term way to make things worse for us later." She is giving them flat looks. She puts a hand over her face. "Adventurers," she says with a beleaguered sigh. A pause. A squint.


There is a wuffle-grunt of humor from Ravakko as Gregor makes his suggestion, but the oruch warrior turns his fiery eyes to the Inspector, "Where is the assassin that we took from the airship?"


Deak shakes his head. "Intimidation may work to a certain degree, but emotions can be magically calmed, and persuasion may leave them feeling less resentful when all is finished."


Shara AHEMS. She clears her throat loudly. "How about....we talk to them. In particular...the Hearthguard and myself....since most of everyone else seems to be ready to draw and quarter them on the spot."


Deak smirks.


GAME: Deak has prepared calm emotions in a reserved spell slot.


Ravakko snorts at Shara. "No sense in killing, or even maiming the pups."


Gregor explains to Shara, "The trick is to get them to fear us -more- than what ever else has them afraid." He shrugs to the Guardsman, and says, "You asked for suggetions. I suggeted. I realize it's extreme, but we were looking at ways to crack their refusal to speak. Who are they protecting? Maybe we could protect them from what they fear?"


Kalkorth shrugs to Shara, "Please go ahead and talk to them. I'm not good at using words to convince others to do what I want."


Shara nudges Deak. "Let's see if we can convince them to help us out instead of keeping quiet. Who knows...diplomacy might work better than intimidation."


Deak stands up and looks at Shara. "Shall we give our method a try, then?"


Shara says, "it's better than being the bigger bully."


"Here, of course, but we think they've told us everything they know. Everything points towards a memebre of the Red Wasterls by their interrogation, which is unusual in and of itself. Still, we just need to figure out which one is behind it. It may not be the gang. It could simply be someone in the gang working for extra money on the side, though this is really far out of their league. How would they even know who to hire?" A shrug.

"In any case, we've jailed them in pairs in the dungeon, seperated, wioth a guard in the cells between them to eavesdrop on their conversations." Clever.

"Would you like to interrogate any sepratrely, or want me to have them broiught to a larger room?"


Deak says, "They may be separated by walls from each other, but at first, if they could be gathered within a 20' radius, I could cast the Calm Emotions spell on the lot of them... if that would help. Then, being calmed, we could isolate the leader, perhaps?"


Gregor ers, "So, do you not believe what they've told you? You say you believe they've told you all they know? Why, then, do you think there's more?"


Ravakko nods at the Inspector's answer then shifts to look in the Bard's direction, "Shara, if they are less than helpful, perhaps we bring the singing assassin up to point out his contact." The oruch offers his idea, his tone like gravel and thunder.


Deak chuckles.


Sargon frowns in thought. "What should the rest of us do?"


Deak suggests, "Be ready for Plan B... If our way fails, try other methods."


Deak tells the Inspector, "Please gather them together, and Shara and I will attempt to persuade them." The priest will follow the inspector to the cell block, and once the prisoners are gathered, will cast the spell, attempting to make it seem like he's invoking the Comfort of Althea upon them.


Shara says, "I'll go as well. Sometimes....varying your voice can make people relax more.""


"Everyone's good wit hthat? All right. Why don't you take some time to make sure you've got everything you need and then we'll let 'em rest. if you've got truthy magics or whatever." She waves a hand dismnissively.



"I'll remain here until you need some force, or the assassins." Ravakko replies to the pair as he slaps his hands down on the arms of the chair and pushes to his feet, "Seems there is little need for my glower about the pups."


The teenagers and young adults are gathered together in a single room. You can lsiten, of course, because the conversation is piped to a nearby room through clever design.

They're all waiting, yes, for their new interrogators to make an entrance.


GAME: Deak casts Calm Emotions. Caster Level: 6 DC: 16

Once Deak is done bestowing his 'blessing', he says, "We know that you aren't real villains. You were coerced to behave against your better judgment. Perhaps those who sent you were frightening. Perhaps they believed you were expendable, I mean, you are the ones who were detained, not them. Won't you help us to deal with the real culprits, those who like cranen cowards are hiding behind your bravery?"

Sargon goes to the other room to listen. He is indeed fascinated at hearing the sound from another room. "Can they hear -us-?" he whispers in his smallest voice to the newrest guard.


Kalkorth goes back to leaning against the back wall with his arms crossed to listen and let those that can speak well do the speaking.


Gregor will go to the listening room and listen.


"Well...no point in keep them waiting really." Shara says as she makes her way towards the room.


None of them are answering, immediately. They all look at each other and stay silent...

...for now.

They seem to be sullen and angry. Some of them still bear the signs of beiong hit in the head.


Shara walks her way into the larger room herself and just sighs. "Well....Here we are." Shara says softly. "Guys....What was so great about those merchants anyways? Why kill them when someone can take their place just as easily?" She then shrugs.

Gregor asides to the others in the spying room, "Tell me again how this is better than threatening them?"


Ravakko mulls at his tusk with his tongue, his fiery orange eyes looking over at the arvek, "These pups as allies might be better for us. For now, we try the extended hand. This trail goes beyond the children, and we may need them to track our real prey further."


Did we mention 'sullen silence' is the word of the day?

Well, it can't be a 'word' since they're not talking. Still, their eyes are on Shara and her honeyed tongue for the time being.


Gregor wonders, 'Are you suggesting we let them go, and then follow them?"

Ravakko shakes his head at the hobgoblin, the oruch's dark braided hair swaying and clattering from the motion, "We need to show them we are friends, and that they can help us. When I was young, I would take lashings for my friends when we were in trouble. I imagine these pups are much the same." The words are thoughtful, but still the dark grey orc rumbles like thunder.


Gregor has no idea what to do with petulant kids. Beating them isn't going to be a choice. He says to Ravakko, "They're in league with these bad guys, and they're OK with that. They don't care who gets hurt. And they're not going to break in front of one another. We ought to separate them out. Then we can tell them that one cracked, and get them to crack a little more."


Shara chuckles at everyone keeping silent. "All right. My friends don't know I'm in here, actually. I asked to talk to you first because Many of my 'comrades' were busy stretching....getting ready to come in to beat the information out of you.....a couple didn't really care about getting information out of you." She then shrugs. "If you want to stay silent....that's what you have to look forward to."

"It's basic theory and we tried it, but maybe it'll work better for you," agrees Naviari to Gregor.

"We ain't scared of you," says a jeering orange haired girl. The sorceress. She's got her hanbds very tightly manacLED. "You're not heroes. You're just government thugs bought and paid for." She spits on the ground.

Ah, good. Anti-authoritarian boasts.


Sargon paces back and forth in the listening room. "I do not think I can convince them that I am their friend."

GAME: Kalkorth rolls sense motive: (9)+0: 9


"So if we're not the heroes, who is? You? Willing to sneak onto a ship and kills innocent merchants, in cold blood, and not expect to face retribution? But yours seems to have more of a message. What's the message? Anti-government? Anti-merchant? What'd these particular merchants do to you?" Shara's definitely listening, and has adopted a tone of voice that is really really bringing the answers out.

"We don't know what you're talking about," snaps Orange-Hair.

There's a chorus of 'yeahs' and glares. Then they all fall back silent again.

"It wasn't /us/. That's not our thing." She sniffs.


Ravakko sucks at his teeth in idle consideration, his eyes flitting from Gregor to Sargon, then back again. "You are dealing with a pack. You break up the pack, you might gain the loyalty of one, but the pack will turn on them. If they are going to help, they must all help together." The oruch is firm in his rumbling words, his vaguely pointed ear perked just slightly to listen to Shara's process, and the rebuttal of the defiant youth. "Is she making progress?"


Gregor says to the group in their back room, "I do not know what to do with wicked children. They do not behave this way, where I'm from. No one would think it." He considers. "Well, the goblins would. But no Arvek would." He shakes his head to Ravakko. "It doesn't seem so."


"it wasn't you, huh? Who was it? And what IS your thing?" Shara's still trying to get them to talk....mostly conversationally, but...having them snap at her works too.


Deak walks up behind Shara and smiles at the manacled sorceress. He whispers to Shara, "What do you say you take this one and talk to her privately, while I talk to her friends?"


Kalkorth glares at the those before him and he seems to be scanning the crowd looking for perhaps someone who isn't as comfortable as the rest seem to be sticking together.


Shara nods to Deak....and nudges the guard to separate the sorceress from the rest....and smirking the whole time. "Told ya that signal would work, hun." She says just loud enough for the rest of them to hear.

The girl squints. Everyyone else looks guarded, wary, and untrusting. They are not happy with this situation at all.


Shara makes it a show to put her arm around the woman's shoulders as she walks out of the room with her....but doesn't speak again until they're away from the room.


"Don't think I'll crack just becasue you... /you/," she sees Gregor in this room, yes. And she gives him a look of PURE LOATHING.


Gregor hauls out his morningstar and takes a step in her direction. He asks, perhaps a bit too theatrically, "Do I get to smack her /now/?" Good cop/bad cop, right?


"No. You don't get to hurt her....unless she refuses to talk." Shara says before giving the woman a gesture....to escort her into another room. "Now....Since you started it. What is your actual angle?"


Ravakko folds his arms across his wide chest and lifts a dark brow in question as he takes stock of the situation, "Dammit, Kaltain, could use some of your Kor blessings right about now." He snorts derisively and looks at the ginger girl. "You got a name, girl?" he rumbles as he leans back against the stone of the wall not even worried that he's talking over his companions.


"You /BASTARD/," she hisses at Gregor, raging. she lunges at him, but well, she's in manacables and its' easy enough to stop. She calms down enough to sullenly answer "Big Orange." to Ravakko. It's ridiculous. Also accurate. ALso, the kind of name that a girl'd have picked for her with big orange hair like that and a bunch of kids working togther.

"You're going to regret messing with us," she tells Gregor. It's not much of a threat given the scenarios, but she's sullen enough to issue it anyway.


Shara nudges Ravakko to help her pick up 'Big Orange' and 'help' her into another room. "Shall we try again?"


Deak says. "Now, my young friends, may the hearthlight of Blessed Althea take compassion upon you. The Goddess of Mothers would encircle you about in Her holy embrace. She wants you to know that She wants to be proud of you, that She wants to help you to do the right thing and help the authorities find those who have deceived you and lied to you. Those who are trying to use you for their wicked purposes." *pause* He smiles at them again, mustering all the sincerity he can, and goes on, "If you shall unburden yourselves of the secrets of those who would use you for corruption, She will bestow a sign of Her favor upon you... a sign by which all around you may see that She smiles upon you. She wants to be proud of you. Won't you make the Holy Mother proud and reveal those who sent you upon this dangerous errand?"


Gregor shakes his head ruefully at the lunge, which he finds amusing. Because what's a child going to do to him anyhow. He says sourly, "I -already- regret not killing you." He'll let her stew on that as Shara and Ravakko lead her out of the room. Kids today!


Kalkorth looks over to Gregor, "Perhaps you should stop talking, it does not seem to be getting us any closer to our goals."


The big oruch pushes off the wall with an exaggerated sigh, almost irritated that he would be asked to do something, “Yeah, nice name Orange. I’m Ravakko, or just Rava.” he hooks his arm through hers and hoists the smaller woman towards the isolated room to allow Shara to speak with her. “Nice setup in that house. Had all the paths covered. Makes a hunter proud.” he rumbles his praise as he sets the girl into a chain.


Gregor shrugs to Kalkorth. "Perhaps you should stop talking. You're not getting us any closer, either. They're criminals and covering for someone. You can either magic it out of them, or let whatever bad happen. They're in on it, and they wwant this bad to happen, or they wouldn't be covering for these people."


Kalkorth shakes his head a bit, "I don't have any magic to make them tell the truth or honeyed words to make them trust me. I leave that to the more capable. Now smashing heads and fighting my way through some runes that I can do.


Shara does another thing.

"We're not covering for anyone!" Orange yells as she's escorted out of the room. She gives Gregor an even more hateful look. "Look what power does to you," she tells him. "You're nothing but a bigger thug than the watch or the government!" She wants to lunge at Gregor aga9in, it's clear, but she's distracted by Rava. "Thanks. We've had to fight hard to keep our stake. Alexandria isn't the kind of place where people just leave you alone. We're not assassins. We're not killers. I told the guards that."


Shara leads Rav into another room, where 'Orange' is all by her lonesome with her and Rav. "So what are you then, Orange?"


Meanwhile, the rest of the kids are glaring daggerds at, well... anything that moves.


Gregor says to Kalkorth, "Apparently none of us have those things." He'll start to follow her out of the room, but the Shara is leading her off. "They don't realize that the people they're covering for are worse than the watch," he says sourly. Hopefully she catches that before she's led off.


"They are pack," Ravakko grumbles as he makes sure the girl is secure, but also safe. "Young wolves of the city that have staked out their territory and will fight to protect it, and each other."


Shara says, "They are a gang. nothing more. They'll end up holding each other back to remain in the gang rather than make each other better." She says to Ravakko before looking to 'Orange'. "No, ma'am. She asked your name....not a nickname you gave yourself. And I don't see anything 'big' on you. So..you need to scale yourself back....considering you're facing attempted assassination charges. I don't think they smile on that sort of thing.""


Gregor says to Ravakko, "They're killers and assassins as surely as the ones in the airship were that they're covering for, and if we can't catch the airship attackers because of these brats, then the blood of the next victims will be on the so-innocent hands of these young wolves."

"My name is big orange," says orange to Shara, rejecting that she has any other name.

"And we didn't try to assassinate anyone. We're being framed," she says, firmly. "We're family and we won't let anyone make us take the rap for something we didn't do."

Naviari rolls her eyes. "It's /possible/ that it's just one of them, but then, who'd be keepings secrets from the fam, hm?"

Meanwhile, deak's conversation with the others is doing... wellish. TRhey're all staring at him. None of them really seem to want to risk the rwath of the Gods. It's troublesome.

Orange gives a pleading look at Ravakko. He seems to 'get it' better than the others so far as she's concerned.


GAME: Deak casts Light. Caster Level: 6 DC: 14


Shara looks to Orange...when Gregor pushes his way in. "Rav....get him out of here." She says pointing to Gregor. Especially since Orange is now talking, and Gregor's threats might make her clam up. "Someone's trying to frame you, hmm? So...how many of you are there? And...yes...I do want an accurate count. Cuz...if you're being framed....then the one who is framing you...is still among your group."


Deak looks at the youths, each in turn. As his eyes come to rest upon the youngest, he speaks a word, and blue light begins to shine from the youth's head. Deak stands up, gawking for effect, then approaches the young one. In a voice of reverent awe, he says, "Young man, the Compasssionate One sees the integrity of your heart. She has showed forth a sign of Her blessing upon you. Will you accept this mantle of honor and deliver your comrades and yourself in Her holy name? Will you bring the truth... to /light/?"


Gregor laughs and makes his own way out, "Fine fine. You're doing so well, I don't want to get in your way." And he'll head out into the idling room once again.


The grey skinned oruch draws himself up to his full, near 7 foot, height and looks in the direction of Gregor, dark brows furrowing to cast his fiery eyes in a shadow. "I appreciate your foresight, friend." With a snort the savage warrior turns back to the plucky gang leader, "Your gang was fingered by professional killers, little wolf. Perhaps to waste our time, but these guards prpobably require little evidence to clean the gutters of the likes of your gang. Help us track our quarry, and you go free. Otherwise, the gallows will dance with the tweleve wastrels." It's not a threat that rumbles from his lips like a storm, more supplication and maybe a hint of malcontent for the local authorities. Rava is clearly not from around here.

GAME: Gregor rolls intimidate: (19)+7: 26


"We wouldn't do that, not now and not ever. We TOLD you that. We're not assasins. We got nothing to do with this and we're not saying anything else. You won't believe us. That guy won't believe us. No one's going to believe us, so what's it matter if we say? You'll just keep asking until someone cracks and tells you what you want to hear. Isn't that right, Fancy Pantsy Guardsman?" She glares at Navciari.

Meanwhile, there's some alarm at the manifestation of magic. Sure, the kids are used to Big Orange's magics, but it's out of nowihere and a cleric is doing it. Its different.

The dark haired kid with the light aboe his head blinks and rolls his eyes up.

And then...collapses?!

Did he faint?!


"And your silence is only making you look more guilty. I keep telling you to talk to us, and tell us something so we can believe you, but all you're telling us is 'we're not assassins, we never were assassins' and yet...You are here....after we trounced you, locked you ALL up." Shara then takes a deep breath. "it's funny though. You're apparently anti-government. What's the removal of a merchant or seven? Stepping up to killing people wouldn't be that big of a step...and the merchants you ambushed would be so scared, they'd have to give you a portion of their gold just so they could proceed on the road, or airship. Yeah. I can see why group of children would do something like that. The Power Trip is too big to pass up."


Sargon looks up as Gregor enters. "That was better than hanging them upside down."


Gregor shakes his head ruefully to Sargon. "We could have done this in five minutes if they let our old sergeant major at them. I can't imagine what he'd have done to them that was worse than what -we- went through, but he -always- got what he wanted. Majors walked the long way around the parade ground to avoid him. Colonels avoided him when they could. Captains whimpered."


Deak tells the other youths, "Behold, Althea has caused a holy trance to come upon him so that She may enlighten his soul to be valiant and act henceforth with honor and integrity." He then kneels beside the lad and administers a Calming Touch per his domain. (removes fatigued, shakened, and sickened conditions and heals 1d6+6 hp of non-lethal damage).

GAME: Deak rolls Heal: (9)+13: 22

Deak looks suddenly horrified and jumps into action, any pretense utterly vanished. He cries out, "Holy Mother Telmentar, let this young man live. Let him grow in Thy holy care. SAVE HIM!"

GAME: Deak has prepared Cure Moderate Wounds in a reserved spell slot.

GAME: Deak casts Cure Moderate Wounds. Caster Level: 6 DC: 16


Sargon looks up at the sounds and then heads for the room. He stops at the door then steps inside. "What is it? What's happened?"


Big Orange listens as Shara speaks, glaring.

"Yes, exactly. Of course. Not telling you what we don't know oinly makes us look more guilty." She grinds her teeth together, hatefully. And then she ehars Deak, and begins lunging towardsa the door.

The other prisoners are all now standing and screaming about hoiw Deak 'magically killed' the young teenager.


Gregor looks slightly amused. "They'll blame me for whatever just happened, you know," he says conversationally to Sargon as we go to investigate the shouting.


Shara shakes her head...then looks over as she hears the shouting. "Rav....knock her out please."


Ravakko's ears perk up at the shouts and the panic, the tusks set into his lobed swaying againt his jawline, "What in the name of Kor!?" He's in motion with the query, but then so is a desperate Big Orange, and he has to make a choice, and instead of investigating he moves to bar the girls escape, knowing full well she's not trying to get away so much as to check on her pack. "Easy! Easy, girl." Both of his big hands come up, easily large enough to hamfist a blow to knock out a teeneager, yet the oruch doesn't strike her. "You got no reason to trust me, but sit. You'll only make matters worse if you don't."


Thinking that if the cure spell isn't working, that the lad must be under some enchantment, he falls back on a Dispel Magic. Unfortunately, the only magic it dispels is the blue light radiating from the lad's head. O/

"Shit," say thej guards. Almost in unison. Really, it's that or some variety of it. "We need to take him to the hospital. It's not far."

"Soldier's defense might know what to do. Come on." The guards pick up the child and are heading out the door with him, encoruaging deak to come with them given that he's a cleric.

As soon as they're outside the door with the kid in their arms, he...

..well.

He's up and moving again, his arms and hands somehow having slipped free of the manacles, and punching a guardsman square in the eye before flipping out of his arms and taking off down the stret.

Wait.

What?


Deak stops, dumbfounded, then stammers, "He was dead! I know it!"


Ravakko continues to run damage control with the gang leader, unaware of the extent of how sideways things have gone.


...as Big Orange sees the dark haired boy springing by the window. She gapes over Ravakko's shoulder.

"...Brvi?! BRVI, WHERE ARE YOU GOING!?" She runs towards the bars.


Sargon is following the others out the door when the kid escapes. He breaks into a sprint after him. "I'll stop him!" he howls.


Gregor will rush after the urchin, pausing at the entrance to the station to hop on his horse, and with the extra speed plus the advantage of height, he'll ride the child down.


Deak returns into the jailhouse and calla out to the other youths, "We carried him out to tale him to the hospital, and he up and ran. He's running now!"


"Wha!?" Ravakko swing about, sees the commotion out the window and sighs in frustration, his eyes screwing shut for a moment. "Okay! You hold on to your knickers carrot top!" He scoops up Big Orange, throws her uncermoniously over his shoulder, and then crashes through said window like a natural disaster. As the battle rager hits the ground he immediately starts to eat up the distance, his ranging speed picking up with every breath, the added weight of the girl not slowing him in the least bit.
