  • Summary: Cryo and Braelnoir are relaxing in the women's baths at the Tarrace, for a generous definition of relaxing. The two are trying to encourage Cryo's wings to finish growing out, and it involves some massages, pulling and pain. Ultimately, they're not successful. They are joined by Aryia and Seyardu, who have come to enjoy the warmth and water. Cryo's foundling, Lily is there also, swimming and playing with a device she's made. Aryia and Cryosanthia talk, with translation by Braelnoir and Seyardu, about escaping from Charn. Or, avoid talking about it and change the subject. Both had experiences they weren't willing to share, and it's a revelation to the whitescale that non Sith'makar have a terrible time in Charn too. She was aware, but never met anyone, and now has in the form of Aryia. Braelnoir describes her self-discovery through errant-artifice, that activated dormant aspects in her blood that might be demonic, draconic or both. Seyardu is circumspect on her private history, preferring to question Lily about her creation. Finally, Braelnoir casts Reduce person to shrink herself, then Cryo, and small person hijynx occur in the pools.

A light, warm mist welcomes those entering the grand bathing chamber. Rising from pools warmed by unseen sources of heat, the moisture makes the air somewhat muggy but still comfortable to breathe. The room it fills has been divided into three portions - the dividing walls, like the bathing pools themselves, clad in pale marble that contrasts with the dark granite that bears the weight of it all.

Attendants politely direct people to changing areas and appropriate services, and ensure that no one winds up where they should not. The central pool is open to both sexes, with a strict requirement for bathing attire to be worn. Those located to either side are mirrors of each other, each restricted to one sex and discreetly guarded to preserve patrons' privacy.

Beyond the central pool a pair of massage tables offer another form of politely-supervised relaxation, with cabinets holding an impressive array of aromatic oils for the use of trained members of staff. More prosaically, signs announce the availability of a service to clean clothes while patrons wash themselves, so that they can return to the outer world fresh from head to toe.

The TarRaCe. The Baths.

The Women's Baths.

The screened off side of the pools, where women can relax without concerns of modesty. Let down their hair, take off their corsets, take off everything if they desire and do womanly things. Gossip, discuss fashion, the men in their lives, their children, their shattered hopes and dreams. Or relax into the warmth of the water and get a massage after.

Or other things.

"Gnnnnn! Brace your feet on my shoulders and try again." Cryosanthia is involved in what seems to be an unusual wrestling match with Braelnoir. The whitescale is face down in the water, the silver-haired merc has her by the wingspars.

Aryia had been avoiding going back to the bathhouse after her recent dealings. Irrational as it was, minor confrontations weren't her strong suit. And it was easier to avoid it than address it. Which, more than likely, might be the root cause of many issues.

But she wasn't a therapist so, all of that introspection flew out the window.

However, just entering the bathhouse on the women's side was a scarred mul, decked in black swimming trunks and a chestwrap, the mass of scarring that is hinted on her continuing to her torso and beyond. She is paused at the edge, blinking at the whatever the hell was going on. She moves her towel to a free hand and gestures simply.

"What." <Handspeech>

Finally allowing herself to be disarmed, likely because of the claws she can call upon, Braelnoir is stripped to the minimums as she tries to work on the Sith's spars, her hair spills in an impractically long mercury trail over her and her scale sister, pooling into the water around them.

She shifts placement of her bracing foot, getting her heel aligned in the valley between the muscles and gives a, "On one." Her knuckles whiten along the sparns, "Three."

The muscles of her torso and limbs bunch, "Two."

... "One!" and the Korite grits her teeth and tries to pull the limbs into a better position.

She catches the arrival of the Mul, eyes flitting to the movment of her hand and she grunts, "Cramps." by shorthand explanation.

"Gnnnn.... ah... Ah!" Cryosanthia is casting... something. It's not clear what exactly and it doesn't appear to matter to her either. Her scales are sparkling, edges and her patterns twinkling as the magic flows around her body.

And not up to the wing-spars. "Ahhh...no, stop!"

The whitescae pants heavily, the nascent limbs struggle and flail about. Her head twists around, "Oh. Aryia. Peace on your nest. Yes. Attempting to... work something to come out. It's not working."

Lily meanwhile, hangs onto the edge of the bath with one arm, swimming in place and watching.

A flicker of understanding went across Aryia's face, lips forming a small 'o'. She watches, wincing a bit as they pulled and struggled. That looks painful. At least it was just them three in here. "P-s - - -st," the shadow elf hisses in greeting, setting the towl down on a bench before walking around to sit next to Lily. Aryia sticks her feet in, grimacing from the temperature change before relaxing and giving the little one a wave.

"It almost looks like you are tryign to pull them of," she bluntly observes before soaking her hands in the water up to the abrasion scars on her forearms. <Handspeech>

There's a sigh as Cryo relents and she relaxes her grip, "Sorry luv."

"Sh'ain't bitched about'm nearly enough fer that." Brae replies with a grin as Aryia settles in, then she cants her head to regard the stubborn winglets, "Ever dislocate a shoulder? An ya gotta get someone t'yank it ta get it ta set right again? Kinda what we's thinkin'."

The human eases off of Cryo and settles in next o her before throwing out, "How ya been holdin' up, luv?" toward the dark elf.

"This was our thoughts. Yes. Though we seem to have succeeded only in the painful part of that similie." Cryosanthia says, still breathing hard. She pushes herself up from the wather, reaching for the spars and gripping them. She nods along with Braelnoir's question.

She's in just her scales it seems, and the water runs easily off them. Her patterns are everywhere, seemingly most intricate on the front of her torso, with a much larger one that includes the whole length of her back, with two wide stripes either side of her spine, and out along her tail. "Yes, are you well?"

"Peasss," Lily gets around to saying.

It had not been too long since the silver sith'makar had been to the baths, after she had stopped one recent evening before the music the other day. But it was relaxing, usually, and relaxing was something Seyardu needed to do for a bit. She had stopped by the althean temple that day, and they had shooed her away for her own sake. And so the tired looking woman found herself back at the baths.

"At least, it was relaxing when one wasn't having limbs pulled out. She was in a different outfit, with a longer skirt and looser top with a bag in her hands. She stops, squinting as she saw what was going on near one of the tables.

"Ah, Aryia, Brae, Cryosanthia. Is everything alright?" She asks, looking a touch concerned.

The elf sighs, nodding as she understood what Brae means as she rubs her own shoulder. Seems like she's popped her shoudler out of place a few times. "Better," she gestures once, water flinging to the side from the movement. "The fight at the bank messed me up, but I think I've got a handle on it now.xn" <Handspeech>

She looks over to the newcomer, Aryia lightly smiling and giving a small wave. A gesture is given towards the duo in the waters. "Things are fine. No floating limbs." Was... that a joke? Aryia makes jokes? <Handspeech>

Brae leans back against the wall of the tub and sighs, letting the warmth soak into her bones, she keeps her eyes on Aryia, primarily for sake of not missing anything the elf might have to say, and she gives an approving nod, "Good on ya, girl."

The comentary directed elsewhere turns Brae's attention the silver Sith's way, and she gives a little wave and a, "'ello, luv, just a little therapy's all, how ya doin?"

And finally, "Lily, luv, mind bringin' that red brush over here?" Cryosanthia is watching the handsigns, she leans her head back towards her youngling, "Lily...?"

"She ok." Little Fang summarizes, rolling up onto the edge of the pool and 'sunning' inside. Then, "Ok."

She pops up and skitters over to the red brush, runs and leaps. She clears a good distance before splashing into the water and turning around, swimming back to Braelnoir at a slightly different spot on the edge.

"Yes, Seyardu, peace on your nest. This one was..." Cryo shrugs, "... trying to duplicate the results of two painful, magical accidents through pain and magic."

"No success, obviously."

"Peace on your nests. If you say you are okay, then I will take your word for it. Therapy is sometimes necessary for injuries or other things." The sith'makar nods as she set down her things. " I am, alright, I would say. If it is alright, I was planning on soaking in the baths for a while, but I know not how much space you may need for this. Or, if there is anything that I could do to help, I could assist."

Aryia scratches her head. Such things were over her head. They break people, not fix them. She finally relents and slides into the waters, disappearing underneath before resurfacing. The elf works on her hair, flashes of her back shown to the group, criss cross scars twisting under muscle.

Braelnoir accepts the brush with a soft, "Thanks, Lily." and gently scritches along the kobold's headscales, "Still been workin on them formations o'yours?" she asks.

She looks between the Sith and, "C'mon in, luv." but leaves it to Cryo to elaborate on things. She ultimately starts to brush at her hair, having to shimmy some to get it all out from under her butt. The elf's back tells stories as her own had back when she was a brunette, before all the wierdness.

The Owlbears.

Killing Ghisha.

The only one left in her flesh has become something else, since, and it has, as now, makes her wonder.

"Yesss I need a fish." Lily explains to Braelnoir, except her explanation involves her hands not making hand-sign, and goblin. She's worked up something, apparently. "Try soon."

"It's a something else." Cryo admits to Seyardu, sliding through the water, "I'll keep them tucked in."

She's watching Aryia, in case there are more signs. They would work under water, which is useful. The whitescale idly wonders if the fluid would significantly change the speed of making them, add an accent. Likely not.

"You have a lot of scars," she says casually. Absently. Speaking aloud the thought when she saw Aryia's back.

"Apologies, this one did not mean to stare. Braelnoir had a lot of scars before her hatching and this one has found the way skin keeps markings to be unusual." Cryo admits.

Seyardu had seen the scars before, and she promised not to be bothered by them before. So she focused on herself, pulling off the top and skirt, leaving a lower bathing suit. She stretched slowly, before stopping at the waters edge to sit down. While not covered in scars, there were a few spots where there was some things to be seen. Injuries that caused scales to grow back a bit less smoothly, and signs of where she had been stabbed recently.

"I feel like once they are out, they will heal better, but it is not something that can be rushed, either." She notes. "What do you need fish for, Lily? You can always find some in the markets, usually."

The conversation was sort of in the back of shadow elf's mind, comfortable in the presence of the four, so much so that she did not catch any staring. Aryia froze, moon hair in her hands. She slowly sinks to where only her head was showing.

Both hands pop up. "Yes. I do," she signs a bit curtly before realzing the tone she was giving off. "... Sorry. Too used to people asking too many questions." <Handspeech>

Braelnoir nods to her niece's words, a certain curious light in her eyes, "Oh? Well, now Ima hafta see this when yer done!" The Korite considers Cryo's phrasing for a beat or two, then nods slightly in concession. It's about as accurate a description as any. Is that all there is to it, though, some new power and a clean slate, or... did it reset her clock, somehow?

Is she even the same woman she was before, or a new creature inhabited by the ghost of who she was before?

Her eyes get a sort of focused look, though she doesn't seem to be focusing on anything in particular anymore, the conversation lost as the mercenary sinks into the depths of her own head.

"The fissh is put in the sleeve, and it swim makess the crab move." Lily explains. She grins at Seyardu and switches to draconic, "Cooked fissh is yummy. Doess not sswim. So only for lunch.." <draconic>

"Likely, that is so. This one is impatient." Cryosanthia says, watching Aryia, watching her signs. "This one..."

Her voice trails off. She watches the motion of the water, leans back and inhales, "this one was aware but did not ... not understand completely, that people other than the People suffer in Charn."

The whitescale looks over at Braelnoir, "Copper for your thoughts? Have enough, we can make a Copper Dragon."

"So you need a live fish. It is possible you may be able to work something out with the fishing boats coming in. Or failing that, find someone to get it for you. It is already ready for testing? Make sure that it is prepared first before having a living creature in it, though. Cooked fish for lunch is good too, though." The silverscale chuckled, sliding into the water with a small splash.

"I have done some readings on what happens in Charn, I know some of the happenings, but would not discuss them if Aryia does not wish to. If there is something on your mind Brae, you are free to speak it around us I feel. Do people pay to hear thoughts though? I normally do so for free, and would never do so unless it was for the sake of another."

Aryia looks completely lost as to whatever Lily was on about, doubly so as it switches to the dragon tongue. Feeling as if Cryo did no foul, she slowly resurfaces fully. Her hands hover for a moment, finding the words.

"The People can just as ruthless. I've always been in the lowest class," she asnwers before finishing by rubbing her throat out of habit. She glances to Braelnoir. <Handspeech>

"It's fine," she gestures towards Seyardu. <Handspeech>

"Hmmm...? Nah, no they's reds, not coppers." Brae murmurs absently before she blinks and looks around, "Wait, wha'now?"

She flicks her attention to the different speakers, trying to pull enough bits together to form a cohesive summary of what she was missing, but, on sight of Aryia's fidget, she nods, "There's bastards'v all stripes, that's fer sure. Ain't done work in Charn... hear it's just's rotten as Bludgun, though... plenty o'blood there, though." and her left hand rises to brush her hair back, setting the ornament in her ear to dancing.

PLenty of blood and more.

Realizing she probably should translate for Cryosanthia, she intones, "The People can be just as ruthless sh'says. She's been lowest caste all'r life, there."

"Yesss." Lily says, she will be prepared. It will be a grand mission for the fish, and afterwards if it is lucky, it will be dinner! Or, she might let it go. It wouldn't appreciate the endeavour it would be a part of. She's not even sure how to explain.

So, she holds up a metal box, with legs, which somewhat resembles a crab or a spider, and something gnome-ish. So it isn't likley to explode. Lily tells Braelnoir, "thiss!"

"Thanks Brae," Cryo moves her arms in circles, floating in the water and gazes at Aryia, "This one led clutch-mates to tragedy, in Charn. This one does not like to speak of there either. The only time..."

"... the only time this one was heroic in Charn, she was not of her right mind." Cryo is looking at a spot on the wall. "Excuse me, I must dive under and breathe the water for a little bit. I can still see and hear you."

The whitescale grins at Seyardu and Aryia, throwing Braelnoir to the wolves, "Do ask her about her Red Scales while I do so."

Cryo lies back and drops under. Burble.

"It seems they are capable of putting anyone beneath them if they find the justification from what I learned. It is something they accept." The silverscale sighed. "But yes, I have heard little good of the place. Other than the fact that Aryia came from there." She added with another chuckle before she turned to Braelnoir. "So, I was asked, and in that case, if it is alright with you Braelnoir, would you tell us about red scales? It sounded as if you brought it up yourself, earlier."

What in... where the hell did Lily pull that out from? Aryia would have to keep a closer eye on the kobold in the future, who knows what contraption of destruction will be pulled out next if that construction missed her attention.

"I'm suprised you manged to get out of there," she signs to Cryo just before they dive in, her genuine with her word choice. Though, she cocks her head to the side and focuses on Braelnoir. "... Red Scales?" she repeats, also mouthing the words. <Handspech>

"Oh, yeah, that thing ya's workin' on th other night!" A pause..., "What'na hell ya gonna do with the fish?" She's used to Lily and cryo pulling things almost out of nowhere at this point, it's mostly when someone else does it that it surprises her, anymore.

Then, there's a momentarily stunned look, and a sputter, "Cry-wha-?" Bloop!

Into the drink her sister dives, leaving the proverbial hot potato lobbed her way.

A sigh and, the Korite massages her temples a bit, "I's... in my head a bit, an' I though she's talkin' about the Fire LIzards I killed." she says with a little color on her cheeks, before she looks to the notable spots on her left arm, gleaming scales, rougher than those of her shoulder brand, of a bloody hue that wind in an oddly regular pattern around the limb, "I think this... is from another part o'my family hist'ry. Member when I said I got changed inta a buncha differn't stuff?"

The scarred pugilist blinks, bringing up a hand to hide a slight smile from the antics. She wades towards the sole human of the group, propping herself up on the edge of the bath with the flats of her hands to see better. Aryia balances herself on a hand. "I remember you telling me about that. Is that new?" she gestures, finishing with pointing at the scales on Brae's arm. <Handspeech>

"It seems like there is quite a bit to you, Braelnoir." Seyardu noted, following her gaze to the bright crimson scales as one hand rubbed at the back of her neck, seeming to work something out of it. "You mentioned that. That sounds interesting though. I would consider it a blessing of sorts, myself, to have a connection such as that. So, you trace something back to them, then? In some shape or form."

"It started comin' in recently enough, yeah." Brae replies to Aryia with a little shrug, "I was'n orphanage brat. Left on th'stoop as I unnerstand." She glances to the little pink kobold and, "Kinda like Lil, here, but it's a buncha folks managin' the place instead of a clutch mother, an' a whole passle of us from all over Stormgarde. Anywho... family history's a bit murky."

She runs her fingers along her scales, then, "The transformation... my hatchin', rebirth or... hell I'unno whatcha wanna call it. Seems like it found stuff deep back in the blood... some dragon and... if the Marilith form meant anything... there might be some demon in me, too. Makes some o'what I discovered later make more sense."

Lily holds the box up, opening the top. Inside there are several levers connected to a central section. She puts her hand in it, "Fissh go here."

She wiggles it back and forth. The legs move in sequence. "Mouse drown."

So the much better idea is for the fish to walk on land.

Cryo resurfaces, having been staring from the bottom. The first thing she does is exhale a large amount of water. It doesn't seem comfortable, and she coughs a few times afterwards, "My escape... did not involve pleasant things."

It seems the whitescale has some memories she doesn't want to revisit also.

"Last year that device got a lot of people. Tranformations. When she finally got it un-done, her hair was silver and she had scales." Cryo says, "There were a few people that turned into other things. Half-Cows, a human woman. Kaelyn, she turned into a couple draconic sorts of things also, then vanished."

She pauses in thought, "it might be worthwhile to have a mage examine you. Although, you end up with more questions than answers when they are done."

"There's more to other folks usually. I wonder what would happen to many of my kin under such a similar situation, though I would not wish it upon them. Many would change all manner of colors. And it seems you've made quite the family regardless, Braelnoir." Seyardu muses, looking to the contraption again. "That looks interesting, but is there a gentler way to make the legs move? A fish has no hands to manipulate levers, and they may have trouble. Perhaps buttons would work better?"

The elf cocks an eyebrow at the explanation, casting a wary glance to the contraption before turning back to Cryo. Out of habit, she rubs her throat again. "I know what you mean, I escaped in a box," she offhandedly mentions. "That sounds strange. Good that it isn't around anymore."

Aryia blinks, glancing off ot the side. Demon? That sounds dangerous... <Handspeech>

Braelnoir smiles to Lily somewhat wryly. Yes, the rat drowns. "You'll get it licked yet, luv." she assures the little one, then looks to her sister as she resurfaces, "It all just stopped, though... s'mebbe the guy turnin' people inta things accidently did himself... or someone come up an' solved his ass."

That the device may still be out there is... something to consider, but...

"Probly right... Morg took a stab at it a while back. Don't wanna end up dissected, though."

She nods to Seyardu on her observation, smiling thoughtfully, "Yeah... I think I done alright this time." This time, "Brae works too. No need ta be all formal like all'e time, right?"

Then she arches an eyebrow at Aryia's declaration, "In a box? Or from?" just to be sure.

"Her Marilith was amusing. So many arms, so much tail!" Cryo sounds very enthusiastic, "even too much tail. Also frightening to the gaurds and regular folk. She had to wear a sign."

"Fissh kant pussh buttons." Lily tells Seyardu, "tail pusshess."

Cryo twitches, just a little at the word 'dissected'. She shakes her head, "No, you don't."

She looks over at Aryia and sinks lower in the water. "A box... this one cut her way out."

"Smaller buttons that are easier to push, they could manage. If they were light enough that bumping into them would be enough." Seyardu suggests, before she takes a moment to dive beneath the water and resurface, rubbing at her face. "I did not think it possible to have too much tail, but there is a first for every situation. You would prefer Brae? I was thinking about how Cryosanthia prefers her full name usually, but if that is the case, I did not think I was being formal."

The elf tilts her head up towards Braelnoir, letting herself fall shoulder deep into the warm waters. "I mean as I say. In a box. I loaded a box full of food and shoved myself in there. I was tasked to load a caravan at night, as they departed in the morning. I put myself in a box on that caravan. I ran out of food." Aryia didn't seem off put by the story, actually looking somewhat proud at the notion. It was how she broke out of chattel, after all. <Handspeech>

"Cut out of what?" the elf asks the sinking whitescale, head tilted to the side <Handspeech>

Braelnoir brings a palm up to her faxe and lolls her head back with a groan, "Gods, th'stupid f'ckin -sign-!" she murmurs through her hand, "I managed ta ferget for a little while..."

She looks to Seyardu as she starts to debate the engineering of the thing and then it turns back to her shorthanding her name, "More'r less reco'nise both, luv. Some folks find it a bit of a mouthful, 'specially in a scrape."

The return from Aryia catches her eye and she nods at several points, even as she does a sort of running translation, "Just makin' sure. Yeah, meant ta load food one night, an' ya hid in that box ta wait fer the mornin' departure... slipped out slick like..." She grins broad and thumbs up, "Damned good on ya, girl!"

Then, a hand alighting on pale scales, "She's wonderin' whatcha cut yerself out of."

"Little buttons," Lily looks thoughtful, and fiddles around inside her device. She leaves it by the side of the pool and belly-flops in. She's wearing a bathing suit, perhaps the same one from before, it has the Rada symbol and a hole for her tail.

The whitescale nods, "Well, this one grew into her name and so enjoys the fullness of it, but 'Cryo' is fine for emergencies or when things are casual." She admits.

The 'out of what?' question makes her pause. She lifts her right hand, looping her fingers through an elegant motion that starts a sparkling on her chest. The light trickles in all directions across her body, mostly towards her right arm, which it swirls down.

In her extended hand, a dagger forms. An icicle, long, nearly the length of a short sword or rapier, with a rounded blade and a wiggle to it. Plus a point. It looks like a wicked, sacrificial blade.

"The cell, though breaking the lock took more, then my first owner." Cryo stares at the water, dipping the dagger into it, freezing small ice-cubes which she plays with on the surface. Her tailtip flicks underwater, "there are no pleasant details to this."

She blinks, looking at Braelnoir, at Aryia, then back to her scale-sister, "Did I ever tell you them? She... my first Mistress, won't be following me. The box sounds like a much better method."

"Then I will continue to use it save for emergencies. I already tend to over explain myself, it is no trouble to make a singular name longer." Seyardu chuckles, floating a bit in the bath now, almost on her back as she let the water take most of the weight.

"The pleasant detail is like with Aryia. You are not there, and I have been able to meet both of you, something for which I am thankful on both accounts. Not to selfish either, as even if I did not meet you both, it is a good thing that you are here, and not there."

There is a clear hesitation that crosses Aryia's features, cutting off the grin that started to grow on her face from the praise. She regards the magic warily, before shivering and sliding into warmer waters, getting used to the presence. For once, the dark elf seems to empathize with the tall Sith-Makar. "There are no pleasant deatils getting out. I cut myself out too, in a way. Before the box." <Handspeech>

She gives a small smile at Seyardu, her rubbing her neck and nodding. Aryia reaches out to Lily, gently grabbing the little one's tail and pulling them through the water in slow circles. Like a raft being tugged by a rope.

Braelnoir looks to her sister, "Nothin' indepth, luv. Figgered ya'd come'round to it or ya wouldn't on yer own time." she says with a little pat.

She smirks to Seyardu's response, then, perhaps on a lark, she suspurates something and leans to one side to slip under the water and there is, momentarily, a dip in the surface before it is lost in ripple and waves.

Beside Lily a few moments later, a halfling sized Korite with a three and a half foot train of silver hair bursts up from the water with a "Rawr!"

GAME: Braelnoir casts Reduce Person. Caster Level: 4 DC: 13

Lily goes limp and spreads her arms and legs wide, becoming more raft-like. She's easily dragged and floats effectively, even backwards

"This one... still would rather not." Cryo says quietly, avoiding Brealnoir's eyes, Aryia's. She continues to swirl her dagger in the water, a little trail of mist rises from the point. She bobs her head, "Yes, we are out, that is the best news."

"This one fled through the countryside and river, it was.."

A mini-Braelnoir surfaces. "Ha!" She almost drops her knife. "You have so much hair!"

"Yessss." Lily grabs for the silver-sargasso.

Aryia follows Braelnoir through the water before snickering audbily with a, "Ksksksksks." She lets go and gives Lily a little push towards what the kobold was reaching for, mischief in her milky eyes.

She rubs at her throat again, thinking back for a moment before shaking her head. "I got out on a ship. They found me as as stowaway. Thankfully the captain used to be a stowaway too so I got to join the crew." The sign for stowaway being similar to By Catch, though it was Lost Catch. Local signs, it seems like she was picking up some from the docks now. <Handspeech>

"Then more time is needed. We all have topics difficult to breach, or recall." The silver sith'makar nods, tilting her head to look back where her clothes were for a moment, focusing on something for a moment. But the commotion pulled her attention away quickly enough. "It seems I am no longer the shorter one here! At least for a moment. Aryia speaks of her escape on a ship as a stowaway. The captain was in a similar situation at one point, and was understanding. Let her join the crew." Seyardu chuckles, flipping onto her stomach and diving beneath the water for a minute.

Braelnoir's ideas in battle have, on occaision, been clever, even inspired.

Some decisions in the civilian world.... well...

The dinky demi-dragonblood looks Cryward on her declaration of, "Well, yeah it's-!"

Folly dawns on her face just as Aryia co-conspires with her neice in the sargasso seige and little energetic fingers lose themselves amongst her tresses.

She edges closer to her nieces, turning slowly before the games start, "Ohh... looks like ya got me, now...!" as Seyardu gives Cryosanthia a translation of Aryia's tale.

Lily splashes, shoved in Braelnoir's direction she lashes her tail and flings her arms and legs, driving herself into the long silvery tresses and getting tangled up. So very tangled up.

Cryo laughs watching, nodding as Seyardu fills in what she missed of Aryia's signs. Which is just about everything. "This one knows, not everyone there is bad, not everyone from there is, and I am glad you were fortunate to find someone to help you."

"This one was not unaided, but..." She releases her icicle dagger, watches as it floats around, resisting the heat of the water, "... aiding an escaped Sith'Makar is punished severly. The dichotomy was hard to conceive."

"Yessss!" The pinkscale has pulled herself so she's right against Braelnoir's back and shoulders, "Sswim Tiass Braess!"

There was a minute where Seyardu was underwater, until she popped up out of the water with a surprise hug to the little kobold, and saving Braelnoir from getting further tangled up, the silverscale chuckling. All of the antics certainly helped relax and just enjoy the moment.

"I know there can be good people. Just as there can be bad ones here. Maybe in time, good things can improve the place. But that will likely be a while coming." @r@r She let go of Lily with a pat to the head, leaving the kobold still next to Brae as she floated a ways away herself.

Suddenly finding herself fast becoming a rather singular image of symbiosis, Brae takes a second to steady her balance as Lily, less comparatively little than she was before her Braenstorm, is in turn seized by Seyardu whilst trying to climb up on her back.

Proper snared, now, she gives a short laugh an, "Okay, okay, ya win!" lolling her head back to see who all has her, "Hey, luv. Thanks." She gives a grin, then, "Think I can manage a few laps." Thankfully, her... 'engagement party' convinced her to put some real practice into swimming, and she should be able to ferry pink kobold about the tub whilst the others converse and/or enjoy her predicament as they would.

Cryo curls her tail and pushes herself through the water, back-swimming to the side where she props herself up using both sets of elbows, the ones on her arms and the ones on her wing-spars. She has an open-mouthed grin, watching Braelnoir tow Lily through the water.

"This one has been that size, and it is hilarious. It's like right after I hatched. So much energy." She laughs, keeping herself in place with slow strokes of her tail. She watches Aryia, a largely expressionless lizard stare. "This is true, Seyardu, but still not easily believed."

She has a lot of scars.

"It is possible." Seyardu nods, relaxing back in the water until it was just her head barely above it. "I did some reading, a few times. And I do not think it is as easy to find in Charn, but there are small notes in what I have read about resistances. Of lies told and challenged. But that is something to be addressed with time. At the very least, it is something that may happen, which one may hope at the very least."

The shadow elf silently watches the antics with a light smirk to her lips. That looked fun, but a bit too high energy for her to participate. The day's work tend to sap one's sporatic nature, and the topics talked about further emptied that. She sighs in relief as the ice weapon drifted away, Aryia just observing.

Her eyes land on Cryosanthia drifting about, sensitive eyes and bobbing reflective scales in the indoor lighting. Gaze unfocused.

Aryia rubs her throat again, her clearing her throat with an uncouth sound. She blinks, realizing she was being watched, refocusing. The elf looks left, then right, behind her, then points to herself with a raised brow.

Yep, she zoned out.

Braelnoir continues her merry splashing, occaisoinally taking the time to hum bubbles into the water just for the doing of it though her eyes sweep the trio and she settles into a little doggy paddle, "I got one cast left... anyone?" she offers.

The whitescale is watching, eyes on Aryia, focused even if her thoughts are drifting. Like a dagger on the waves, they bob and rock as the small ripples and splashes make it her way. "This one does not think deeply of others, often enough. An accusation of my mate, and true."

Sadly true. Trained to assist dissecting down to the smallest detail, she doesn't pick up these tools often. Unwilling to understand, or remember now. It's rare for her to use her problem solving on people, or even really see them.

The Mul'niessa makes the Sith'makar reconsider many of her assumptions and unchalleneged thoughts.

She breaks eye-contact, and grins, "Yes. Make this one small, then we shall all wrestle the biggest. You are to be challenged Seyardu!"

Cryosanthia surges forward, diving after her scale-sister.
