  • Summary: It's raining in the garden. A lot are out despite that. Sith'Makar, for whom the rain runs easily off their scales. A gnome, up to no good. A mage, busy with errands and another wandering the streets. A Jotun who also doesn't feel the weather. They congregate and among the statues, resting and contemplating. Cryosanthia walks in with Lily, working off some restless energy and tossing a large ball with her. She settles beside her clutch-mate Rocky and friend Seyardu. Seyardu is improved, but still not recovered from her experience with the Devils, and the funeral she attended was unsettling also. Cesran, with Ral-Sara, flies in on his magic carpet, greeting all. Jinks is receiving a letter from a formally dressed Arvek Nar, which doesn't improve his mood. Cryo asks Rocky if Alexandria is suiting him, apologizing for being distant and busy. Cesran and Seyardu offer to help her with her scheduling issues, which she defers. Lily looks for a new person to throw the ball at, and settles on Jinks. She throws it hard, and it catches him in the face and knocks him over. Merek peregrinates by, observing all adventurers are part dragon. Jinks' nose is bleeding and Lily is angry and upset about being reminded of her missing parents. Cryo snaps and runs out with Lily. Jinks asks Seyardu why so many Sith'Makar have moved into Alexandria, and she explains her reasons. Merek adds some details about refugee camps, and offers to bring fish to the Temple of Althea. Rocky sleeps.

Among the gardens, scents mingle: green, loam and subtle sweetness, wafting from the meticulously groomed grounds. The lawns are richly green, dense and close-cropped, bordered with polished pale marble stones the size of a human man's fist. The pathways are smoothly cobbled in muted tones that subtly echo and contrast with the surrounding greenery, shaded by the lush canopies of tall, straight trees whose branches arch over the walkways to form open, airy tunnels. Elegantly ornate, tall mana-lamps of wrought black iron keep the paths softly lit in the evenings; they are often situated near benches of matching material and style. It is peaceful, here. Somber. It is also curiously warm and green no matter the time of year; leaves do change color in fall but remain on the trees until spring comes again.

At the heart of the park where the paths converge are large marble pedestals supporting bronze or marble statuary, chiseled letters upon the heavy bases naming the subject of each piece. The previous sculpture celebrating the union of Alexandros with Myrddion has been removed from the center of the garden and replaced with a gorgeous statue of the Crown Princess Lianna Rena and a marble walkway that leads to the Monument of Heroes - a newly-raised edifice celebrating those who fought and died on behalf of others. Tribute is still given to the friendship between Myrddion and Alexandros in the form of the paired standards mounted above the entrance to the Monument of Heroes: one from each nation. The flagstaffs are crossed and held by a Myrrish Knight and an Old-Alexandros Miner.

It's raining.

Soft rain that falls from a grey-black sky. A quiet rain, that puts one in a sombre mood, or inspires one to defy it. The sky is empty, the stars are down, obscured by the clouds. There is no moon. A warm southeasterly blows in.

The rain has reduced the visitors, but not all are discouraged from taking a break here.

The rain was not a deterrent to most sith'makar, and Seyardu was no exception. A silver sith'makar was beneath one of the trees slightly off of the path, eyese closed and sitting with their arms around their knees. Deep in thought, or deep in sleep, it was hard to tell.

Rocky is a jungle lizard. Rain a common, almost daily occurance. These little drizzles of the softskin lands are barely worth notice... not until they do crazy stuff like turn to snow. And thus the greyscale sits quietly next to the parkway path in quiet contemplation, passively watching the passersby, not far from nap-buddy Seyardu. Most passing likely think he's a statue. At least one pigeon is fooled.

Stjepan likes spending time in the gardens here, and a little rain never bothered... well, it doesn't bother him. He's not paying that much attention in the short term -- there are flowers, after all!

Cryosanthia wanders the walkways, under the airy canopies of arched branches, lit by the mana-lamps and heading towards their convergence at the large marble pedestals. She's wearing swashbuckling gear, and has two strange, large spars jutting up from her back that are wrapped in cloth.

Beside her is a small lizard youngling. A Kobold for those familiar with the species, although she is dressed like a Sith'Makar in a rough leather dress. She has a ball.

The two are tossing it back and forth as they walk.

Thus the pair come upon Seyardu and Rocky. Cryosanthia slips in beside them without greeting, sitting and sharing their space.

Little Fang stares, left holding the ball. She had a game going!

Cesran comes flying in from over the bridge, going slow as it is raining and the carpet of flying doesn't offer any protection against the weather. Maybe he should invest in some goggles. He spots the others that are in the garden and he gives a nod in greeting towards them, "Good day."

Some neutral ground.

Jinks leans against the statue of the Crown Princess with his arms folded across his chest doing nothing to escape or thwart the rain. The shoulders of his crimson coat are a dark wine color from the wet. He's offering a contentious, unblinking stare upwards at the imposing bulk of a smartly-dressed 'Nar standing stiff under an umbrella.

The hobgoblin has the look of one who buttles about him and sports that trademarked expression of mild boredom that seems to come with the profession. He continues to hold out a folded piece of paper (or perhaps an envelope?) and doesn't so much as blink when the little gnome finally gives up the glower to snatch the thing away with a grumble. It's not long after that he gives the barest hint of a nod and about-faces to follow the path back out of the gardens.

The silverscale wasn't fully asleep, but clearly not paying attention to everything that had been going on, one hand resting on her collarbone. A minute passed, then another, before she opened her eyes, looking around to find not one, but two sith'makar sitting down nearby.

"Ah, Cryosanthia, Rocky, and Lily. Peace on your nests. I am sorry, I did not see either of you approach. Did you come here to rest?" They asked, slightly confused. "It is a nice day for it."

Stjepan isn't paying attention to the arvek, he's just looking at the flowers. Swiping his hand through his hair, he pushes moisture off his forehead.

"Peace on your Nest!" Cryosanthia calls up at Cesran, raising her head to look at him. She glances at Seyardu. She has questions. She can also smell that the other Sith'Makar has had more unpleasant experiences. Assured that both of her people are aware of her presence, she's content to wait until they start a conversation. Should they wish one.

Which they do, it seems. "Peace on your Nest, Seyardu. Yes, to rest, and think about things."

"We were playing ballsss." Lily says, loudly. She's holding the ball against her chest with both hands. It's huge, making only her head and legs visible. She looks around, a lot. Peers at the distinguished Arvek Nar, buttling about. No, not him. She peers some more.

Rocky chuffs softly, wide tail thumping on the wet grass, and pigeon taking off in a frantic explosion of feathers. "Peace unto your nest, Little Sister, Little Fang. Is good day. Peaceful."

Cesran brings the carpet of flying to a landing and steps off so it can roll up and he stows it on his backpack, "Peace upon your nest." "Peace upon your nest." Ral-sara also responds. He looks over at Lily, "That's quite a large ball you got there, were you going to bounce it around?"

He asks before looking to the others, "So what brings the rest of you out on this lovely day?"

There was a response, a dull thunk against the tree of the silverscale's tail. She turned around, until she could see both of the sith makar, and the man who had dismounted.

"I usually come out here, or to the other gardens. While I do much work at the temples, they are the most natural areas of the city, and I find it easier to offer prayer there. And I have been thinking, as well. I am not good with throwing balls, but you could try to toss it to me if you wanted, Lily." She offers.

Jinks crumples up the paper in one small, indignant fist. "And you bed without staking your tent." He curses, managing a fair facsimile of the Arvek Nar dialect. He spits on the cobbles for good measure and prepares to throw the crumpled-up thing before deflating, smoothing the paper out, and carefully tucking it into a sleeve. A deep breath. Another sigh. He turns and realizes there are others present who lack the good sense to stay in doors. Cesran he gives a look of half-recognition; a tilt of the head, a subtle narrowing of the eyes, and a quick point. When he catches the little lizard's look his smile spreads, slow and wide. He deliberately waggles his eyebrows at her. <goblin-talk>

"Yessss." The little carnation-scaled youngling says, with an intense look towards the whitescale, "Ssassa wasss. Now isss talkingsss time."

She doesn't seemed impressed with discussion, and continues to peer about. Ral-Sara holds her attention for a long while.

"Peace on your Nest also, Ral-Sara." Cryosanthia says, sitting up a little taller. She's not really addressing a dragon, though she poses as if she is. Her head turns towards Cesran, "Thinking about things. This one has many things to do that regarding, and is having trouble organizing."

"Ok!" Lily accepts Seyardu's offer. A ball is suddenly heading the silverscale's way! Then, THEN! She notices that gnome from before. She has found something small to terrorize! It's instinctive, being made as she is from left-over dragon parts. The bad ones mostly.

"Ball! Ball!" She calls at Seyardu, hands wide for it to be thrown back.

Stjepan swings around to consider some of the statuary with folded arms, and rain on his face.

Rocky chuffs again, muzzle dipping in greeting. "Is peaceful place, usually. Good to sit and think."

GAME: Seyardu rolls 1d20+1: (14)+1: 15

The sith'makar wasn't entirely paying attention, nor prepared just yet. But a large ball flying directly at someone has a way of getting their attention. Instinctively she reached out, catching the ball with a light grunt.

Seyardu chuckles, raising an arm and tossing the ball back. Lightly, though, in case her aim was off, just to be safe. "Good throw, Lily. Yes, it is peaceful, here. I was hoping some manner of that peace would rub off on myself, in some way."

Cesran nods, "Well if you need help let me know. Thank you again for running those errands for me. I really appreciate it." He spots Stjepan as well, "Hey Stjepan. How are you doing? Have you recovered since last we saw each other?"

Stjepan looks up, and nods towards Cesran. "Good day, Cesran. Yes," he says with a faint smile, "I'm a little more together now."

GAME: Seyardu rolls 1d20+2: (14)+2: 16
GAME: Cryosanthia rolls 1d20: (3): 3 (Lily's catch)

The ball is coming back! She's ready! She's... oh. It flies right by Lily, who turns and scampers after it, stretched out and leaning like a little raptor as she runs. She pounces the rolling sphere with a hiss. Rolls with it. Stops, gets up and stalks back.

"This one is happy to." Cryosanthia says, wobbling her head a little. "This one would, but they are beneath your thoughts. This one's day is very busy with mundane tasks, day after day, and I'm not sure why."

The whitescale gazes at the granitescale, "This one hasn't asked lately, you are well Big Brother? In need of anything?" A curious thing for her to say, anyone that knows Sith'Makar would note their age discrepancy.

As her Ssassa talks, the pink Kobold advances on the gnome. She raises the ball above her head, looking like a tiny titan holding up the world. She rattles and grunts. "FFF!"

The ball heads towards Jinks now.

Jinks had started that way thinking of something mischievous to say and tease the little sith-whelp. Clearly this is one of those plans Coyote is happy to laugh at and a ball is flying at him now. He reaches for a note but it's sour and flat, "And we all--" BAP! Full in the face. Jinks' little body makes an X on the cobblestones as he admires the stars above.

Rocky's eye track the bouncing, rolling, bapping ball, but he stays turned towards Cryo, chuffing quietly. "Saaa, is good. Miss lands on Home sometimes, but know could visit. Is good land here. Good people. Strange, but good."

"It is good here, even if I am still learning about this place, how to behave and deal with it." Seyardu agrees. "If they are beneath their thoughts however, though I doubt that they are completely, you can always ask me for help, Cryosanthia. Outside of helping at the temple, my days are usually open save for prayer."

She turns as the ball sends the gnome to the stone, and they are on their feet. "Hail, sir! Are you alright?" She calls out.

Cesran smiles, "That's good to hear, if you are up for it I have another adventure that I'm going on if you are interested in coming. We've managed to track down an anomaly in the ley lines and going to investigate it. I've got Serene and Seldan on board along with a few others, so it's not just going to be you and I jumping in without looking again."

Cesran hmms, "Cryosanthia, I'm still just a mortal man, I just happen to be really good at one thing. I still eat and breath and get sick and sleep." He eyes the Ioun stones that are slowly orbiting his head, 'Well I eat when I want to." He corrects himself. "Anyway my point is that if you need help with anything please ask. I might not be able to do it, but I'm pretty sure I can find someone who does."

Cesran hears the unmistakable sound of a being hit by a ball and he winces, "Ouch you okay?" He calls over and notices Jinks, "Hey Jinks...long time no see...are you really okay over there?"

"This one is glad." Cryo responds, Rocky's words alleviating some of her tension. She hunches a little more naturally, towards a relaxing posture and less of an anxious one. The differences might only be noticeable to Sith'makar, or those familiar with them.

"Thank you Seyardu, this one might. This one meant only that difficulties scheduling her day might be beneath an Arch-Mage's concerns." Although, there may be other things lurking there.

"Ha!" Lily cheers! Victory! She darts over to loom, as much as is possible for a two foot tall Kobold youngling, over Jinks. It's a good thing he's a gnome! Her pink lizard face interrupts his view of the stars.

Happy to repose a moment in the rain and self-pity, Jinks blinks when a stray drop finds his eyes. "This is a test. It has to be. Otherwise I can't go on." He manages to sing that part well enough, the notes playing up and down within the same syllable on occasion. He purses his lips and exhales, spraying a fine mist up into the air. 'Fantastic.' He answers the assembled calls of concern. 'Fulfilled a lifelong dream of catching a child's toy between my eyes. Peak of my week.' He tilts his head at Lily, 'Good throw.' <gnomish>

Stjepan nods towards Cesran. "I can, yes. Maybe I'll see something others miss, too."

"Scheduling days? I understand, those at the temple always seem to be on a schedule, to get things ready for a certain time. While I am not the best for it, perhaps I could help. I would hope that being someone like that does not mean not being able to help those around you still."

Seeing the gnome is mostly alright, or so they seemed, they slid back down the tree. "If you need healing, please let me know. I know some magic that could be of assistance."

Merek takes a walk along in the memorial garden, while he wears the dark attire with a scarf that keeps floral patterns. The man looks to people while he comes upon where they are. He nods a bit to Cryosanthia, "Peace on your Nest." Then a nod to Seyardu. With that, he will look to anyone else that he knows from Cesran to Stjepan and Rocky, even Jinks. The man looks to have at least met the people.

"Thanssss." Lily peeps cheerfully at him. Grinning. Lizard grins aren't comforting, even tiny ones. So many teeth, that long mouth, weird tongues and stuff. She gives him a compliment, "You catchess well with your fasssse."

"Thank you Cesran, this one will... bring her concerns to you then, if I do not sort them out within a few days on my own." Cryo says, taking her time to answer his offer. It's easy to forget mages are normal people. This is in part because of some of the mages she's known.

She nods to Seyardu, "It's a little like that, yes."

Then the whitescale's posture heightens, she's ready to spring. Her head turns, watching Lily and Jinks. "This one apologizes for her youngling. You are uninjured? You... yes, this one met you earlier. Please do not strike her."

Cryo rises to her feet, "Yes. Hello Merek." She moves towards Jinks and Lily.

Cesran smiles, "We are friends, at least I hope we are, if you are having a problem I could help find a solution or just be there to listen." Ral-sara nods, "Yah he's trying to be less of a jerk and more of a friend." Cesran laughs, "Thanks for that endorsement. Really the title of archmage was something I gave myself when I was younger. I was so full of myself when I finally reached the pinnacle of spellcasting that I just couldn't resist calling myself that. I'd like to think I've matured some."

"Just a tiny bit." His staff throws in a comment.

Cesran shakes his head and then looks to Stjepan, "Great. I'll give you the time and place to meet up, we'll be going with Madame Griva." He cranes his neck a bit to check on Jinks, "Good to hear Jinks and good to see you, where have you been keeping yourself." He nods back to Merek, "Hello Merek."

Cryo is both not smelling like anything at all, which is very unusual for a sith'makar, underneath that, hints of 'youngling is in danger'.

Stjepan nods slowly, keeping an ye out for bouncing balls. "Good ,thank you." He nods curtly. "That sounds like it will br eventful."

Jinks gives a cough, puts one foot flat on the cobbles and grunts his way into a sitting position with his hands clapped over his raised knee. He's wearing a convoluted chain of sterling silver dangling between two loops on his ear and a third on his nose. When he sits up the nose-clasp falls loose, dislodged by the ball, and the change in equilibrium cues the nosebleed his reclining had staved off. Blood mingles lazily with rainwater and turns his goatee from white to rust.

He just gives a shallow shrug to Cryosanthia, engaged as he is with Lily. "Apropos of nothing; if your father were to return after a long vacation what sort of thing would you like as a grift?" He blinks, perhaps mildly concussed. "I mean gift. Present." He glances at Cesran and offers a lopsided smile, "Coyote took me to his bosom and provided me a palatial manse in Heroes' Rest. Angelic beings saw to my every need and I drowned in wealth. I was only returned to this mortal plane because the world still needs me."

"I was very proud of my title, 'Speaker of the Sith'Makar', when I received it." Cryo admits to Cesran, looking at him, although mostly at Ral-Sara. She bobs her head slowly towards the staff, smiling wanely, "This one has heard that advice also, and maturity came, whether I was ready or not."

Lily stares. Lizard expressions are hard to read but she seems to have gone from playful to upset, very upset. "Father back iss the griftsss!" Then she kicks Jinks. Hard! Hard for a small youngling, which isn't much but still an impact for the gnome.

"Little Fang!" Cryosanthia snatches her up. It's as if she was teleported out of Jink's immediate vicinity, although it was simply being lifted several feet. "Lily apologize. We do not kick people."

"Ah, Merek, peace on your nest. It is good to see you." Seyardu calls to Merek, giving a wave and a smile. She turns back to the gnome. She blinks at the kick. "Your nose is bleeding, I think. I can stop it if you wish. And Ral-sara, yes? I am curious to hear more about you. I have never met a dragon staff before. Or a dragon, either."

Cesran smiles, "Good I hope to see you then Stjepan, Cryosanthia is going as well, she can catch you up if you don't mind Cryosanthia. I'm afraid I have to get going. I have research that I need to be getting back to, I had only come out to enjoy some lunch and fresh air." He looks to Seyardu, "I'm sorry as much as I'm sure Ral-sara would love for me to recount her origins I do have to get going, another time though." He says as he unfurls his carpet of flying to get on and head out.

Jinks gives a little ack and flinches away but just laughs once the immediate surprise has passed. He rolls away and pushes up to his feet, clearing his throat and spitting to get the taste of copper away. He gives a distracted pat of the air Seyardu's direction, "I'll be fine; she doesn't kick (or throw a ball) nearly as hard as Snadie the Elf."

Merek looks along to Jinks as well as Cryosanthia and will just wince a bit at the conversation. Then he inhales while he thinks about it a moment, taking a look to the skies, placing both hands to his pockets. He notes, "I'm beginning to think that all Adventurers are part dragon." The man places a cigarette into his mouth, lights that in thought and nods a little. Then to Seyardu, "And what are you up to?" he asks.

Rocky exhales slowly, a long rattling snore. It is the granitescale's turn to be the napping Sith.

Cryosanthia holds Lily against her chest, both arms encircling her. She's facing Jinks directly, very formal in her posture, at least as much as one can be while holding a youngling. "Thank you. This one apologizes. Little Fang, say sorry."

"Him firrssst." Lily's little pink tail is lashing. She's hissing and scrabbly, attempting to climb out of her Ssassa's embrace.

"Lily, sometimes you must be the bigger person and apologize first." The whitescale lectures, "Now, don't you want to be bigger than a gnome?"

This logic is... enough to confuse the pinkscale. Her struggling decreases. She glares at Jinks, and very lightly goes through the motions. She does want to be bigger than him, one day. "Sorrrrss."

Close enough. Cryo exhales, making an odd rattling noise in her throat. Almost a hum, almost a purr. A soothing noise, presumably. "Her parents were beaten unconscious by hunters and taken off to necromancers in the swamps. I've not been able to find them."

She pauses, "It's been long enough, I'm not sure I want to find them. We have to go."

Cryosanthia turns, glancing at Merek, stiffening and straightening up. She picks up her ball and turns to Stjepan, "Cesran was attempting to locate Shards of Animus by analyzing the Leylines in Alexandria. He didn't locate anything unusual in the city, but there are some anomalies nearby in the greater wilderness. This concerns him, so we're going to check it out."

"Griva, feels it may also symbolically help 'Renew the Pact', somehow. That part isn't clear to me. So, mostly go out, look around, be prepared for something dangerous. I was trying to coordinate everyone."

Cryo looks over at Seyardu, "It's why I was busy, though we didn't go as planned. We're going soon."

"Oh, it is alright. another time, then." Seyardu replies, giving the man and staff a wave. "And I understand, Cryo. If you have to go."

She turns back to Merek. "I normally, I come here to pray. The natural areas feel easier to be at peace in than the temples for prayers to reach. Perhaps some are. It would certainly give a certain strength to those seeking to be adventurers. But I do not know for certain. I finished my prayers, but I seem to have rested a while afterwards. Rocky and Cryosanthia were here when I woke up."

Stjepan gives brief nods around, and continues onwards through the garden. Maybe he's finally damp enough to see cover.

"A bunch of bastards, sounds like." Jinks agrees with Cryosanthia. He makes a wave of his left hand and lifting up, empty, from his right hip before twisting and snapping it down with a flourish. He holds a kerchief seemingly produced from thin air. He goes to pinch it over his bloody nose but manages to sneak in the quickest of tongue-sticking-out at Lily while the bigger lizard is addressing her peers.

Merek looks up to the skies while he seems to think to himself, then he nods to Seyardu. "Well, that makes sense." The man lifts a hand from the pocket while he points to the star in the sky, "That is probably the best story that I've read in a while." He then draws a star chart from the pack with him to begin drawing, "Lily, you doing alright?" he asks, then peeking to Jinks while he seems to be well, gnoming. A wave then to Stjepan and Cesran, and a look to Cryosanthia, "Well. I don't think that any Shard has proven easy to actually manage to recover."

Lily is struggling harder to escape, perhaps to deliver another kick. Her little tail is swiping hard all over the place, would slap like a riding crop if it connected. She sticks her tongue out back at Jinks. Ewww.

The little lizard's struggles have not escaped the larger one's.

"No Merek, she's not, and I don't want her near you when something invisible might drop a spell on you that kills everyone around you." Cryo snaps. She was trying to leave.

"Sorry all. Peace on your Nests. This one goes."

The whitescale runs, actually tucks Little Fang and her ball into a low carrying position and breaks into a full run. She won't hear any replies at the speed she's going.

Jinks looks utterly smug as Lily is restrained and Cryosanthia retreats. Little victories seem like regular victories when you're a gnome.

Also petty.

And just plain not having the best go of it right now.

A deep rumble comes from the snoozing Sith'makar, like a rain-stick with much more base. Rocky is deeply asleep.

The man is extremely uncomfortable.

Merek looks then to Cryosanthia, "Alright, apologies. I do have a way I know of that will keep them from finding me in the future," the man then will look to Seyardu and Jinks. There's a lift of his shoulders, the man seems to be little in way of emotion, that might be because he is a mage.

Or because he is an adventurer with too many missing pieces.

It is difficult to tell with him.

"Ah, see you around then, Cryosanthia. I hope that you are correct on that matter, then. I feel you likely are." Seyardu nods back, giving a sharp toothed smile. "I trust it, at least. I just came here to relax for a while. I was not expecting to be joined by so many, but I do not mind it, either."

Jinks is quite the sight, his fine coat and breeches all but soaked through, his earring dangling loose ot the side of his face, and a handkerchief pinched and bloody at the base of his nose. "If you don't mind me asking," he takes a few steps closer to Seyardu, "in the name of academic curiosity; the influx of you people. When? Why? It wasn't that long ago that I could count the sum total of sith'makar in this city on one hand." His voice has a certain muffled, nasal quality while he pinches his nose thusly.

Merek looks then to Jinks, along with Seyardu, "You know, I think there actually was an exodus, when some of the original camps were... Like, ya," he nods.

"The influx of us here? I never felt like that was really the case. I feel incredibly out of place." The sith'makar notes after a moment of thought. "Though we tend to end up together for better understanding, as well. Like how many goblins live together in one part of town, or followers of a god have their own temple to congregate. Though there are more of my kind coming here, looking to explore more of the world. That is the reason for which I came here."

"Hm." Jinks muses, distracted by a memory for more than a moment. "Well, as you say. It certainly seems like more from down here." He tilts his head in a shallow sort of nod. He pulls the cloth away from his face and dabs a finger experimentally at each nostril, one and then the other. At least the bleeding has stopped. He looks over at Merek, "The portal was new. I recall that much. Svarshan and his wife prattled on about it."

Merek looks to the two and nods a bit to both while he thinks about it. "Ya, it's been quite a while," he will note, while he takes a look about the place. "Anyway, I think that with people trying to bring back Animus, things will be pretty interesting."

Rocky's snoring rattles louder.

"Yes, the portal means more come out here. I do not know the time before it well. I grew up reading many books and scrolls from these lands however. I always wished to learn more. It is probably why I have so little trouble speaking as I do, other than the over explanations."

Seyardu sighs. "Interesting does not mean good, however. I hope things will be alright."

"Nothing wrong with loving the sound of your own voice." Jinks counters with a smirk, turning the handkerchief over in his hand before just tossing the bloody bloody thing away. Ew. "Anyway. There is someone out there with a warm hearth looking to make a bad decision. Don't bang your heads against anything, tallfolk."

Merek looks then to Jinks, "Be well," he will offer, while he takes a look along to Seyardu and nods. "Anyway, I'm glad you are doing pretty alright."

"I am glad I am doing alright as well. I do not like the sound of my own voice, I just wish to get my points across clearly. I do not understand the inflections and tones of you folk properly." Seyardu replies, giving them both a wave. "I hope you will not make anyone take bad decisions, though, Jinks. If that is your name, I overheard it."

"Not every one," Jinks admits, smiling lasciviously. "Just one." He holds up a pointed finger as he walks away. He doesn't bother correcting the sith when it comes to his name so they must have the right of it. It isn't long before he's gone 'round a hedgerow and disappeared from view, the retreating sound of his whistling a continued indicator of his departure.

Merek looks then to Seyardu, "I will bring a little fish for the Temple, then I'll bring a bit for you, and you don't get to say no to the fish, with the Temple already supplied!" Yay fish!

"I, I suppose I can not disagree with that if you have excess that you will not need." Seyardu sighs, looking up to Merek and giving another smile. "If that is the case, I would not turn it down. I will probably be here for a while. Thank you, Merek. And peace on your nest."

Seyardu settled down in her seat next to the almost stonelike sith makar. Hopefully it would be fine for her to rest nearby, and no harm would come to them. She was still unsure, but she hoped at least.

And Rocky becomes silent, his sleeping noises shifting lower to a frequency only other lizards sense. Tones that imply safety. The river will flow around the stone. He will protect.
