Rumors: Damsel in Distress!
Alarmed whispers rocket through the adventuring community! Lady Sandiel, one of the grandest, most posh of their number, appears to have fallen on hard times!
She was last seen staggering about Goblintown, her trademark bustle in tatters, and a ratty blanket tied around her neck like a cape. Her pointy ears sagged, and her once cheerful sildanyari expression, full of death and daggers.
A hue and cry is out to rescue this damsel in distress, and uncover what dastardly fiends have done to this adventuring icon!
Help her! Help this Damsel in Distress! Lest Alexandria lose a national treasure!
OOC: Sandy is homeless! Also, to show our support for Alexandria's Adventuring Icon and Local Hero, any rescuers who share their heroic dashing-ins to Cutscenes will receive an especial thanks from either Beaglefarts or Bolide. Heya!
While we are an old game, we are also continually looking for ways to update, and reinvent ourselves. Sometimes this takes a little longer than others, but you know, we do get there.
Our theme in general, is not big on limiting someone's options because of their gender. Likewise, because of their orientation--one only has to look to Angoron and Tarien, or Serriel and Vardama. The general assumption is that in a world as magically varied as Ea is, that these things just aren't worth bothering about. That said, over time, and through various conversations with y'all, some of the cultures on Tenebrae will be getting small updates.
That is, nothing that changes a culture as a whole. More, tidbits and nuggets, for those who would like to explore them, of positive representation of LGBTQ culture.
