So, the pony belonging to Vandred's magic was really the only warning you had. It wickered once, which was definitely enough to save you from a worse surprise before the troll like thing actually leapt out on it, absorbing its initial arrival quite well. It's whinnying in a sort of resigned panic that just seems to almost be saying: "AGAIN?!"

You can't quite be sure. From there, the stumpy-troll is turning its attention on you, its body grossly disporportionate to its limbs, like they're only half-grown out of the remaining stumps, it's lower half not quite as large anmd muscular as its upper half. This seems to be improving by the moment, actually.

It's very happy to see you, given the way its smiling hungrily in your direction.

GAME: Gregor rolls 1d20+10: (6)+10: 16

Gregor rushes forward towards the troll, hoping to get the jump on him, boots thumping as he rushes up and plants his feet, setting himself. He reaches back to the side, and slams his flail forward into the foe. He shouts in defiance. "Your time is up, troll, your raiding days are over!" Though the blow is nothing spectacular, his flail bounces off the troll's thick hide.

The troll-creature has a grasp on the whining pony and it does indeed try to turn it into a weapon, roughly throwinbg it towards Gregor. It slams into the crates nearby and winds up on its back, trying to right itself.

Stumpy hisses in frustration, limbs stretching and creaking as it grows larger.

GAME: Vandred used a Wand of Bull's Strength.

Vandred watches as his Pony is promptly used and then, suddenly, used against him. This is something he doesn't agree with - and he demonstrates his dislike by producing a wand. He promptly taps it on Saiorse's hip, before the wand is slipped back into its holster and he acquits himself properly on the field of battle - he moves away from the group. More precisely. He moves behind them.

GAME: Kyn casts Bless. Caster Level: 3 DC: 15

Kyn looks fearful as the troll pops out, he gulps, turns white as he reaches for his sword, misses, grabs at it again as he draws it "May the sun guide us." he chants in fear, and surprisingly those around him feel a warm glow, like the sun is actually shining on them this day.

GAME: Saiorse activates her Titan Armor, gaining: +4 Str

GAME: Saiorse casts Enlarge Person. Caster Level: 4 DC: 13

Saiorse doesn't really respond when Vandred taps her with that wand. Perhaps she's used to it. Maybe she doesn't notice, what with her single minded focus drawing her attentions to the creature that has just tried to hit a fellow with a magic horse.

Hhhk. Kssh. ...hhk.

She just watches as the event unfolds, a soft clicking whir filling the air as hypodermic needles spring up out of the recesses of her shoulders before ramming themselves fully into the flesh of her neck to inject her with some viscous, glowing purple concoction. She twitches, violently, a strained grunting suggesting either the spell is working, or she's decided she can't wait for the ducolax to kick in and has gone for it. A few moments pass as that possibility lingers in the air, before she forces a heaving, wheezed breath through those coppery vents and promptly begins to hulk out in preparation for the grand melee.

Burai moves towards the troll. He sweeps his giant sword off his back as he approaches. But others in the party move much faster and engage the troll-like creature first. Burai quickly adjust his direction, passing in front of the smashed crates and the ghost pony, and slowing to a stop when he has a relatively clear view of the monster. He takes a hand off the handle of his weapon and points it. A fiery glow surrounds his fist for a moment but doesn't seem to bother him in the least - and it almost immediately streaks off as a bolt of fire that singes into the monster. He lowers his still-smoking hand and takes up the sword in both hands again, holding it before him in case the troll breaks free of the others surrounding it and Burai needs to ward it off.

Gregor stands in the fray, bold enough, though he's not a stand-and-fight type. What he can do, when he spots an opening, is to wind up his flail and smack the troll in the back of the head as he looks away, drawing ichor and not making it happy at all.

Unfortuanately for Stumpy the Troll, armor is really good at protecting you from tiny, half-formed claws! It's blows are glancing at best and it shrills a shriek.

Here's the problem: another crate rolls off a high shelf and smashes open, another half-formed troll crawling out of it thereafter, legs starting to grow as they find room after emerging.

Oh boy.

Vandred takes a look at the situation. He doesn't like how the situation looks, so he decides to do something about it other than stare up at Saiorse. He makes a series of arcane gestures that /almost/ look like crude signs, before he utters a word or three of power. His fingers point towards Stumpy, and a beam of scorching firey pain escapes from his fingertip - drilling a neat scorched wound across Stumpy's flank. His nose curls at the smell. "Ew. Ew." He utters, gagging visibly.

GAME: Kyn refreshes spells.

GAME: Kyn casts Summon Monster II. Caster Level: 3 DC: 16

Kyn looks to the crate as another troll pops out he grabs his amulet as he begins to speak Celestial "May Daeus bless us with a fragment of dawn! So the tide's of evil may be turned! Hope renewed!" he shouts as a sun beam seems to glint perfectly off onto the ground, lighting something on fire as that thing suddenly moves as if its alive.

There's another few moments of that wheezing, whirring breath and grind of gears as Saiorse stands towering, heaving out the strain that her transformation has leveled upon her frame. Slowly, that stretched face with blackened beak turns toward Stumpy, and to Gregor as he faces off with that horrid beastie. That one green lense twists and focuses as the artificer's attentions fall fully upon it, extra lenses slipping down and drifting back away in her calculation, head tilting back and forth as though it somehow aided in this calibration.

... and then she's on her way.

Thump. Thump. Thump thump thumpthuMPTHUMP!

Her footfalls gain a manic sort of energy as she nears, one of her massive needle-clawed fists raising before being thrust forward in a devestating blow that breaks ribs and scores skin before drawing back with a wet schlup, little bits of flesh falling from those cruel edges and barbaric knuckles. "Hsssk." It doesn't die. This seems to vex the unusual woman, one green eye seen peering over toward the man on the other side. "Kshh, hkk--Specimen remains upright," She begins, as though she were dictating a recording for later reminder in research. "Despite prolonged--HHHSH--assault..." She continues.

Burai's head twists around as the second troll emerges. He begins to turn that way but something - either animal instinct or half-forgotten memory of martial training, or perhaps even a combination of the two - reminds him that it's best to focus on one enemy at a time whenever possible. He sends another bolt of fire at the first troll, this time capitalizing on the damage inflicted by the strange diseased woman. It's enough to seemingly finish it. Burai now completes his turn to face the new enemy. He begins taking careful steps towards it, sword held ready.

Gregor stuffs his fail back on his belt and fishes for one of the charges of alchemists fire we'd been given. He'll set it on the trolls body and set it off, stepping well back as the fire ignites and starts to burn. "Take that," he says with a smirk.

You know, trolls are legendarily vicioius. With their long wicked claws, they are known for gutting and rending and tearing people limb from limb at their full statute...

...which is, perhaps, why its surprising to watch it feebly nom on Saiorse's leg.

On the other hand, another couple creates have spilled off their shelves and you are hearing... /sounds/ elsewhere in the warehouse.

GAME: Vandred casts Scorching Ray. Caster Level: 4 DC: 16

Vandred's hand snaps out in those gestures before he points out towards Leggy. Except Leggy is laying down - and the beam goes screaming past both Saiorse and Leggy, burning a straight tiny hole through the warehouse wall. "Ah." He states, before devolving into curses that'd make his mother blush.

Kyn runs up and stabs the troll in the torso, just with the tip, like a light glance. At the same time the elemntal rolls forward, then stops and flails at the air with fury. Kyn looks over "The troll! Not the air, the Troll!" he shouts in a high pitched voice.

"... hhk..." Saiorse seems more confused than worried by the troll trying to grab at her leg, staring down at it in clear calculation. Her chin lifts to look toward the now acid-drenched corpse of Stumpy, and then down once again to the thing that is clearly trying to eat her, and not in any way that could be considered appealing. "... Specimen One succumbs to repeated ass--hhhhhsh-saultss..." HHK! A breath is sucked in sharply, quick and short, "Kss, friendly subject B has contained clear threat via administration of Alchemis--shhh-hhk--...Alchemist's Fire." Her leg jerks back from Leggy, the creature that finally regains her attentions.

As it turns out, Saiorse's full attention is an ugly thing.

Once more the gears of her armour whirs and whines as it creeps to life, both her massive fists lifted in something of a brawler's stance, "Second Specimen..." She begins, just as her first fist pummels down with all the gusto the pistons can muster, the tight snap of ligaments ringing out like a tree falling in the woods. People were certainly here to witness it make a sound. "Seems equally so stubborn as--hhk--the first," It's as though she doesn't actually notice the event going on around them, though the sound of other crates crashing down does draw momentary consideration from the over-critical woman. With her head turned toward the noise, her second fist fires off, crushing one of Leggy's ... well, legs, against the ground with the same wet snap that was offered before.

"It definitely feels pain." Saiorse mentions to herself, another breath wheezed through the rebreather. "I shall gather more data, and--kssshh--catalogue continued recovery." The gears whir as they wind themselves back into a readied position. More punchings incoming.

Burai turns to follow the second troll's movement. His expression tightens at the sound what must be more partially-formed breaking free of more crates. A part of his mind has to admire the cunning way these trolls were deposited here in the midst of this well-ordered and well-defended city. But first things first. With the appearance of the fire elemental Burai doesn't feel the need to provide fire himself and instead rushes over to Leggy and chops into him with his falchion.

Gregor has fired the one body, now he'll rise up, clutch his new longsword, and charge the next troll. He rushes in, bandy legs and slashing sword, aind runs it through, catching a lucky shot and disabling it!

GAME: Vandred casts Acid Splash. Caster Level: 4 DC: 14

Vandred doesn't take chances. He also doesn't get close to the disabled troll either. He promptly forms a small orb of acid in his palm and chucks it at the troll - whereupon it immediately lands and detonates with a... Small hiss of acid. It's probably cleaning it, rather than hurting it.

GAME: Kyn rolls perception: (14)+6: 20

Kyn looks about before walking abit towards the noise before spotting a particular crate. He wipes his brow as he swallows and points at it "Hey buddy, can you set that on fire please?" he asks the fire elemental like its a puppy. It gladly rolls over to burn it as he looks at it with worrying fear "I hope nothing is important in there...." he says with worry.

"... Threat levels have increased beyond containable--HHK--kssh--perameters," Saiorse offers, "Initiating necessary cleansing--hhk--protocol."

Well... that's ominous.

It's about this time that Saiorse abandons all punching related experimentation, and begins dousing the area in Alchemist's Fire with wild abandon, yet somehow seems the most collected person ever to walk the earth. "In lieu of traditional quarantine, this--hhsskk-one has opted for imminent purging..." She's turning to lope off, with all the whirring and whining one has come to expect from her. She continues to talk to herself.

Smashing out of the crate, already on fire thanks to Kyn's actions, a third grotesquely malformed troll lashes out and *slices* into Kyn's neasrby frame, bloodying him severely and sending him sprawling back from it as it waddles out, limbs bending and popping back into joints that it had forced itself into. It howls, body smoldering, regeneration stalled by the presence of the fire.
