Geramee.jpg

Geramee (pronounced just like the RL name Jeremy) is Marley's raven familiar. The stat block below reflects his current capabilities as the familiar of a novice (1st level) wizard. He has been her familiar since she was twenty years old. He is a common, solid black raven with a wingspan in excess of four feet.

As noted below, Geramee speaks Low Common. He calls Marley "boss" and tends to have a sarcastic attitude towards her in most of their interactions but when it matters he's always there to support her.

SPECIAL ABILITIES

Alertness (Ex): While Geramee is within arm's reach of Marley, she gains the benefits of the Alertness feat.

Improved Evasion (Ex): When subjected to an attack that normally allows a Reflex saving throw for half damage, Geramee takes no damage if it makes a successful saving throw and half damage even if the saving throw fails.

Share Spells: Marley may cast a spell with a target of “You” on Geramee (as a touch spell) instead of on herself. She may cast spells on Geramee even if the spells do not normally affect creatures of his type (magical beast).

Empathic Link (Su): Marley and Geramee share an empathic link with a range of 1 mile. She can communicate empathically with him, but cannot see through his eyes. Because of the link's limited nature, only general emotions can be shared however she gains the same connection to an item or place that Geramee has.

Speech (Su): Geramee has the supernatural ability to speak Low Common. Due to the nature of this language he also understands, and can be understood by, speakers of Tradespeech.
