Erendriel has returned the starknife she borrowed for today's festivities with Azog, but now is coming out from the Temple of Eluna with something else: A small treasure box. It's not nearly big enough to be a chest, as such, but it is a small wooden box with a sturdy padlock on it. She sets it down beside the fountain, and starts stepping away from it, reaching into the vest she has begun to wear over her gown, pulling out lockpicks.

Merek is coming from the Elunite Temple, while he takes a moment to pull his alchemy longcoat about him, then he notes Eren, with a nod to the woman, looking then to the people all about tonight, seeming to enjoy the stars.

Azog has just finished brining a huge wagonload of supplies into the Temple of Althea and now exits, peering around. Spotting Erendriel attempting to break into the fountain, he will go over in order to put a stop to it. "You should not do that," he advises when close enough.

Aya enters the square from the road, rather than a specific temple. While many are represented in this one location, it is not all, and her own preferred place of worship is elsewhere.

Erendriel waves to Merek, then giggles to Azog. "No no look, I can do it now, watch." Backing off to about 25 feet back. Staring at the padlock, she takes a deep breath, waves her hand at it. And nothing happens yet. "No no look I've almost got it."

Merek looks between the others, while he settles about to watch, taking a moment to drink from the flask with him while he does also.

Azog frowns at Erendriel and stands in front of the device, physically obstructing it. He's a lot of obstruction when he means to be. "Don't do this. They'll send you to jail and you'll be stuck in there with the murderers and salesmen. I can loan you some gold if you need, but you don't need to break into the fountain."

Aya notes the familiar Azog, and his ...interposition at the fountain. She approaches, one brow arching. "Is something the matter?"

And enter Kae! Kinda, she's allready nearby! And well she's working on something. The spaztic Artificer can be seen sitting on a chair that well floats, at a table, with what looks like a boards with artificed designs on it? Those that know Kae might recognize it as her hoverboard. Still, the goofy Artificer is working away with a few odd-looking tools...

"doop dee Dooop." She mutters to her self, tongue now visibly sticking out the corner of her mouth as she tilt sher head the opposite way... "A liiiil bit more, aaaand..." She pauses... as the hoverboard whines up, stops and then plops back on the table "Nope!"

Erendriel closes her eyes, regroups, and lifts her hand. She fails again, then opens her eyes, and Azog is in the way and making his honorable speech. "What.. I..." she sputters. "I'm not STEALING anything. I BORROWED that box to practice on it. I came so close to doing it too. One more try, I'll get this." Kaelyn's arrival, on a hoverboard, does get a long look before she starts to try onc emore.

Azog nods to Aya, and explains, "Erendriel is trying to use magic to break into the fountain." It's clearly something like a locksmith's test jig setting on the edge of the fountain rather than the fountain itself, but he's absolutely not helping matters. "It's your inner conscience trying to prevent you from making a terrible mistake," he inststs.

Aya ahs softly, eyes moving between the not-thief and the not-window, then down to the box at the fountain and back. "I see. A terrible choice of location, though I don't think she's using magic. Not well, anyhow."

Kae tilts her head to the left, and blinks again.. "Ummm oookieeee, Imma get this yeeeet!" She says, and flails her arms some before picking up two other tools and working one in each hand as she messes witht he sleak artifice at the back of the board. "Yup this is gonna be faaast! And controllable, but mostly faaast!" She says... "Though this is only a guess!" She calls out

There's a pause and she glances at the table at parts laying around... "Heeey, I think those are supposed to be in there... what did I do this time?" She says, tappping her chin....

Erendriel inhales heavily, and her hand moves once more in front of herself. Fingers moving up and down just so as she manipulates the pins of the lock behind Azog, and then... click. Thunk. The heavy padlock falls to Azog's feet. "If you don't believe me, turn around, and open up the chest that Ijust unlocked from ... all the way over here." Her grin is impossible to stop, as are the two fire shots she sends into the sky... followed by the FIREBALL she sets off over head.

Like 50 feet up

Azog turns, looks into the chest, whews. He tells her, "Fortunately, by slowing you down, it enabled the owner of the chest to remove the valuables." He nods with self-satisfaction, a job well done.

Kae blinks at the shiny thing, she tilts her head to the right now and holds her hands up "Yay LIght!" Then the light is gone "Wah No light!" She calls out and glances around curiously, and soon enough, she's holding up a little object that floats nearby that starts shining a light on what she's working on... "Doop dee doooooooop...." she sings to her self now.

Erendriel goes wide-eyed, still smiling despite Azog's shocking allegations. She steps up to him though, giggling. "Azog. I know some of the Inquisitors. I borrowed that box from them. I'm going to return it to them now, since Ijust unlocked it without touching it. You did hear that right?" When Kaelyn cheers, she sends anoher bright ray overhead briefly.

Azog says sternly, "Well, now that you have seen the error of your ways, it is just to return then their box," he agrees.

Kae tilts her head and holds both hands up, waggling them back and forth! She then peers at her board, and hits the startup button, and startup it does! The board is suddenly hovering, quite still, 10 feet off the ground...

Kae peers curiously, and then flails her arms again "Nooo not that high!" She calls out, and is now hopping up and down in an attempt to reach the thing! "I wants it baaack! Gimmeh Gimmeh!!!!"

Erendriel looks at Azog, and tilts her head. "Someday you'll understand that I actually work WITH them, not steal FROM them." she smiles, then grabbing the box. As she walks by, she waves a hand at Kaelyn's hoverboard. "Oh sorry it's too heavey for me to try to push down at you... good luck!" she then heads off.

GAME: Azog rolls athletics: (5)+28: 33

Azog sighs at Kaelyn, but at seven feet, it's not much of a feet to jump straight up and grab the device. He will pull it over to her and hand it to her. "There you go," he says. "Next time, take better care of ytour things."

Kae blinks a few times and gets it turned off, the girl now falling in a thump with the board resting on her midriff... "heeeeey, I do take great care of my things! I'm fixing this one and upgrading it!" She calls out, now flailing her arms while on the ground...

Azog shrugs to Kaelyn, sighs, and heads back into the Temple. "Oh yes, I can see now how squared away you are." He peers at Erendrield, then heads into the Temple. Two insane elf women is more than any self-respecting oruch should have to deal with.
