  • Title: A Tale and a Dream
  • Emitter: Thurid
  • Characters: Thurid, Aryia, Seyardu
  • Place: Ferwood Pub
  • Time: October 11th, 2021
  • Summary: Thurid comes into the Fernwood to relax, as does Seyardu, and Aryia descends from her room, looking like she slept in. They gather at a table and discuss recent events, the latter two's growth, as well as Aryia's recent injury. The topic shifts to their excursion into Charn, as well as Aryia's relationship with someone else. Thurid leaves, needing to tend to some injured in the arena. Seyardu and Aryia clear some things up about speaking about a certain someone, which then Aryia talks about a weird dream she had, involving traveling to the north and speaking with some... being. Seyardu confides that she had the same dream, and the two make some loose plans to investigate this. With some parting wisdom from Aryia unto Seyardu, who finds herself im a similar situation to Aryia before, the shadow elf absconds upstairs.

The Fernwood- a fine place to spend a chilly evening in the city. And Thurid finds herself here, sitting alone- for now- at one of the tables, in an extra-sturdy chair. On the table infront of her, she has a mug of warm cider and a platter of bread, meats and cheeses. The Jotun is dressed down today, clearly finished with her clerical duties for the evening, though as always the maul of Angoron hangs from a chain about her neck.

She seems content to soak in the cosy atmosphere for the time being, taking the occasional swig of her drink.

On such an evening, a dressed down, scarred mul'neissa in nothing more than loose fitting pants, a plain shirt, sandals, and a tangle of bed-head comes down the stairs. She has no quick gait or urgent things to do, just a sleepy look on her face as she pads over to get something to eat. Though, she stops at the sight of Thurid. A grin cracks across her lips, and she moseys her way on over to her.

She gives a little wave with her left arm, wincing a bit as she does before sitting down without being invited. "Hello! Good to see you!" she gestures slowly. <Handspeech>

As much as Seyardu enjoyed the Tarrace, sometimes a more subdued atmosphere was desired when they were looking to relax. And the Fernwood was close to the garden district, where she often retired for evening prayers. So it was not a completely abnormal sight to see the silver Sith-makar to arrive at the pub, wearing a breastplate over their clothing.

She looked around to see if she could find Aryia by chance, and seeing the sleepy looking mul'niessa, she quickly jogged over, before stopping to look at the much larger figure they were with. Their tail thumps once against the ground, and they smile.

"Thurid! Peace on your nest, it is good to see you. And you as well, Aryia! How are you both doing this day?" She asks, adjusting her bag before looking for a stool. Her clothing looked similar to before, but the satchel, and gleaming mithral breastplate were both new additions.

Thurid smiles at Aryia when she arrives, "Ah- hold a moment." she says, and then rummages through the pack she's left under the table, pulling out the winged cap helm she pops it ontop of her head. "Good evening. Morning? Aryia." she offers, with a lopsided grin as her eyes go to the bed head. She frowns a bit at the wince, "Are you hurt?" she wonders.

Before Aryia has time to answer, she turns to spy another familiar face approaching, and she lifts her hand in greeting. "Peace on yours, as well." she offers. "I'm well, thank you! I can see you've been putting your coin to use." she muses. She reaches for her top, and then pulls it open at the neckline- a lascivious gesture, if it weren't to real the gleaming golden links below, filigree fine. "I prefer the mail." she muses, and adjusts her top back to where it ought to rest.

She gestures towards the platter at the table. "Please, join me, help yourself. Both of you."

Aryia waits for the cap to place placed on, used to the item by this point before shrugging. "Evening? Shit, I lost track of time," the elf laughs silently and shakes her head, right hand giving the motions. She gives a small nod, but waves a hand dismissively. "I broke my arm a bit ago. Seyardu fixed it. It's still sore. That just takes time."

She tilts her head to the side at the armor, then gives a little shrug. "Armor slows me," is all she says about that. Felt like they had this discussion before.

The offer makes her grin. Don't have to get her own food? Counter her in. She takes a few helpings, assembling a small sandwich and nibbling on them with a thankful nod to Thurid. <Handspeech>

Seyardu chuckles and continues to smile while she shakes her head. "Only if you will allow me to purchase something to add to the meal. Be that drinks or more food, or both. Likely both sounds the best idea."

Seyardu looks to Aryia, her head tilted a moment as she pulls a stool over to sit in. "It should be fine soon, but yes. It is a strange story, if she wishes to share more another time."

Seyardu looks down to her armor, and nods. "Yes, this one realizes that purchasing equipment to keep myself and others safe is important. And it allows me to focus more on my work."

Thurid's brows knit with concern as Aryia mentions breaking her arm, "How did you manage that?" she wonders, but given that Seyardu has already seen to it, she dips her head and leaves it at that. She laughs a bit at Seyardu's comment, "Well, if you insist." she says, and picks up her mug- chugging back the rest of her cider and then gasping for breath when she's done. "I'll take another of the same." she says

She puts some sliced cheese and meat ontop of a piece of rye bread, and finishes it off with a glob of mayonaise before popping it into her mouth in one bite. After chewing and swallowing, she continues. "This particular armor is so light I forget I'm wearing it, sometimes. It's called Celestial Mail- supposedly, the servants of the gods in the outer planes wear the very same armor. Best of all, it gives me the power of flight, for a time." she explains.

Aryia bites down on her sandwich, letting it dangle from her mouth as she motions, left arm going slow to augment her signs. "I... uh. I'm trying to learn how to move really fast. Faster than the blink of an eye. I almost got it down, but I messed up in the Colloseum and launched myself out of the arena and crashed into a chimney. My boots kept me from going splat against the ground, but my arm was shattered."

She rubs at her eye, taking more small bites of her free food. "Must be nice to fly. I only do that when I dream, which doesn't happen often." <Handspeech>

Seyardu takes a menu, and thumbs through it while looking between the two others at the table. "It was not pretty, her arm had fractures in several different places, which is likely why the recovery is longer. But the bones are mended, as are the muscles. It should be fully functional when it heals." She explains, smiling a bit more after she waves for a waitress, and places an order for two mugs of cider, one sized for the giantborn, and some white grape juice for themself.

"Celestial mail? that sounds useful for certain. It is, not the same, but if you ever wished to try flying, or something similar, this one knows some magic which may work for you, without flinging yourself a few blocks through the colosseum district."

Thurid raises her eyebrows, and can't help but snort a laugh at the story. "Well, I'm glad you are alright- for the most part- but mayhaps you ought try practicing that somewhere where there are fewer obstacles to hit?" she suggests then, shaking her head a bit. At Aryia's next comment, she pauses a moment. She looks the Mul up and down a bit. "I could take you some time. I don't reckon you weigh much more than my hammer." she says then. "The enchantment only lasts a short spell. Five minutes or so. But it's time enough to get a good view." she adds.

"That is, if you haven't had enough of flying already." she adds, and nods her head towards the achey arm. "So-it seems as though the pair of you have stories to tell." she says, looking between the two of them. "My Mission to Dran was painfully uneventful. So I could stand to hear a few, if you've a mind to tell them."

Aryia takes what's left of her sandwich out of her mouth and lets her head lull back, a silent groan leaving her. "I knooooooooow. I've had half a dozen people say the same," she bemoans with her hand. At the offer, she tilts her head to the side and scratches her head. "... I might take you up on that offer. After, uh, my arm is good to go."

The elf gives a small nod, glancing to Seyardu. "We do. Went to Charn, we did." She polishes off her food, her reaching up to smooth her moon colored hair out from its bed inspired craze. <Handspeech>

"Yes, we went to Charn, together with Dame Paenitia, and another like Aryia, a half mul'niessa named strike." She begins to explain stopping another waitress to place an order for some fajitas to be shared amongst them. "It was related to a warehouse found on the docks. Statues being exported there. We were able to find where they were sent to, break in, and rescue as many as we could."

Then she sighs, the smile vanishing slightly. "Not all were there, but most, and some not accounted for from the warehouse. It went as well as could be hoped, I feel."

Thurid assembles herself another butterbrod while Aryia recalls- and Seyardu expounds upon the story of their visit to Charn. She huffs, and shakes her head, "Both of you need lessons in telling stories." she says then. "Where are the boasts, the supsense?" she wonders of them, puffing up her chest a bit before breathing a sigh.

Her expression softens, though, and she nods her head at Seyardu's final words. "It's good that you could save some. Some cannot be saved..." she says, an air of melencholy washing over her- but for a moment. She pushes it aside. "We- Aryia and I- sparred a few days prior. She bested me soundly." she informs Seyardu. "I trust you've grown stronger as well?"

Aryia makes a little 'tch' sound and smirks, her reaching forward to assemble another small sandwich. Once her construction was complete, she gives a bit more color with her hands. "Fine, fine. We snuck into Charn by boat, and got to the warehouse at night. We almost got in, but some guard saw us. They almost raised the alarm, but we managed to subdue them and knock some out. Seyardu broke the door down and we went in. Lot of people in cages. We started on the locks, melting them with acid, but the Dame went into the back and started yelling challenges."

It's here where Aryia's face goes a bit somber, and vacant. "A demon was ordering slavers to shove kids and women into a portal. I don't... remember much of that. I got really, really mad. Threw myself into the slaves, starting killing slavers while the others took care of the demon. It exploded, throwing acid gas everywhere. Seyardu kept healing everyone as the others tried to not throw up as we pulled everyone out of there."

She shudders, takes a cider that was ordered for her by Seyardu, and gulps at it. "Was fucked."

The shadow elf bobs her head a bit, a weak smile cresting her lips. "Thurid hits like a wagon." <Handspeech>

"Shaman Un'eth, amongst a few others who approved of the mission got a boat and crew together to go out there." Seyardu adds, chuckling a bit as she pat the satchel at her side. "And an adamantine polearm is excellent for opening a door in an emergency. As for growing stronger? It is, it is a difficult thing to ascertain. There haver been many events that have set this one back. But in the sense of the word, I have."

"The temple of Deus, and a few of the sentinels from the temple of Althea taught me how to use the billhook that is favored by them. And the magics I am capable of channeling, have grown stronger as well."

The first waitress from before comes by with the two mugs, followed shortly by the second, carrying a tray of flatbread, and still sizzling cast iron pan of peppers, onions and beef.

Thurid takes her mug from the waitress gratefully and takes another swig, before popping the butterbrod she previously assembled into her mouth. Chewing, watching Aryia's hands move, swallowing and washint it down with another swig of cider. She nods her head, "Better." she agrees. "Demons... I have been hearing more and more tales of demons of late." she says then. "Worries me, that the barrier between our plane and theirs grows fragile. Or else those who abide by them are growing more numerous. Perhaps one begets the other." she says, expression grim once more.

She leans back in her chair, which protests at the motion with a creak, and then tuns her attention to Seyardu for her own words. "Strength of arms, strength of conviction, the strength to overcome adversity." she says then. "That you have struggled is not evidence of weakness- that you have prevailed is proof of strength." she insists.

Aryia sighs, her nodding and rubbing at her arm to give it some relief. "It's some shit I don't want to deal with anymore. I'd rather not die, as it's far above my skill. I just hope it pans out. I did what I could."

She picks up her sandwich and leans back, her hale hand toying with one of the silver claps on her long ears. She smiles some. "Thanks. We've certainly come a long ways." <Handspeech>

"It was, not always feeling as if it was prevailing, Thurid." Seyardu sighs, taking her glass to take a larger drink from. "There was too much going on, and still is. I am doing what I can, where I can, but many have told me not to spread myself too thin, or neglect myself, and I am trying to take that to heart."

"Which is why I came here, to relax, and enjoy the food of this place. Things like this have certainly helped."

Thurid nods her head again then at the pair of them, "Still no surfeit of confidence, though." she says to the both of them, distracted by assembling herself another moutful of food as she speaks. "Either of you. Though you're getting better. There are forces in this universe that make even gods tremble. To face a foe and be outmatched isn't weakness, it is life. To spit in fear's face and do what you must is what it means to be a hero." she says then.

"Aryia. You spoke before that you never wished to return to Charn, with the reasons you fled. Seyardu, you spoke of being no match for a demon prior. And yet, to charn you went. And not once, but twice to my knowledge, you have survived your encounters with the monstrosities of the abyss." she says, pointing at them in turn with her assembled open face sandwich- the meat teetering and threatening to fall.

"Sometimes, it is enough to do what you can." she says and then pops the morsel into her mouth, chewing and swallowing, "But sometimes, you must be greater. You must be someone who inspires others. If something /must/ be done, there is no sense fretting whether you /can/ do it." she asserts.

Aryia ducks her head slightly, a weak smile on her face as she rubs her neck. "... yes. I know. Thank you for your words, Thurid."

A small sigh leaves her, and she stares at her half sandwich. "You speak true. And that is what I have been doing these past weeks." <Handspeech>

"I, yes, I went to Charn, as there was no choice not to. I could not live with myself if I left those children and other slaves to their fate." Seyardu sighs, but then, they chuckle, and glance to Aryia. "This is true. I believe at one point, you told me if I went to Charn, I would either help a singular person, or be taken myself. But here we are both, saving as many as we did."

"And Aryia has not told you of the most uplifting of the events of late. But it is your choice whether to speak of your recent relationship, if you wish."

Seyardu looks to the stairs, and to Aryia. "If I remember correctly you do not need to sleep, and yet it looks like your hair was made out of sorts from sleeping in a bed."

Thurid smiles over at Aryia, "Lift your head, be proud of your accomplishments." she says to her then and settles back to take a swig of her cider. Which is right when Seyardu drops a particular bombshell. Thurid gulps her mouthful of drink back before she spits it out, and then coughs- thumping her chest as some of it went down the wrong hole.

"Relationship?" she wonders, "As in, a lover? Do tell, who is the lucky fellow?" she wonders, leaning forwards on the table with eyebrows raised expectantly.

Meanwhile, a strapping young lad in the robes of an Angorite noenate enters the establishment and asks something of one of the waitresses. She points towards the group's table.

Aryia's face turns a bright red as she follows Seyardu's gaze. "... yes. V-I-O-L-E-T. She's nice..." she shyly gestures, hiding her face behind her sandwich. <Handspeech>

"I do not know about lover, but sweetheart, this one has heard them referred to." Seyardu responds, straight faced, but chuckling a bit before she reaches for her drink again, taking one of the flatbreads and a large portion of stir fried filling to top it with. "Her name is Violet, and I know little about them, save that yes, they are nice. And they are relatively close, judging by the scent upon Aryia."

She looks to where the priest or assistant is. "There is an angorite here, were you expecting anyone, Thurid?"

Thurid lets out a belly laugh, full of mirth, and reaches out to clap Aryia on the shoulder- nearly hard enough to knock the sandwich out of her hands. "Truth be told, I've met someone as well. This is a cause for Celebration!" she says, "Waitress! Another round, on me!" she calls out- perhaps a notch or two louder than necessary, seemingly oblivious of Aryia's embarassment. "This i-" she begins, but is interrupted by Seyardu pointing out the other Angorite.

She turns to look at him, brows furrowed. "No..." she says- he hurries over, and shares some hushed words with Thurid. "Dislocated?" she repeats something he said to her. "Wrong way?" and then finally she sighs. "It seems I'm needed at the colloseum. No rest for the weary. But! Aryia- we must meet up for drinks some time to discuss this further!" she insists, even as she's pushing herself out of her seat. She shoves one last bit of cheese in her mouth, hastily swallowing it and draining the remainder of her second two pint mug.

She sets the mug down, and hands a few coins to the waitress who arrives with the round of drinks- taking her mug with her as she heads for the door.

Aryia's head whips around to Seyardu, her brows high up on her forehead. She floods further crimson, rubor catching the tops of her ears as well. "S-Seyardu!" she points at the silverscale, it useless as her sandwich is scatterd across the table as a giantborn hand clasps her shoulder. Her lips mouth 'awww man...'

She regards Thurid, trying to shove her embarrassment down after being outed like that, so much so that Thurid's own news only added further to her overloaded system. "... o-okay, sure I guess. See you later," she mumble gestures, drinking down her cider as a way to vanish. <Handspeech>

Seyardu was too busy chuckling and seeing Thurid off to catch the point, but she does see the sandwich scattered across the table. "Peace on your nest, Thurid, I hope they will be alright at the colosseum. Should be, with a cleric of your skill."

Seyardu then turns back to Aryia, and sticks the fajita she had been making into one of Aryia's hands, before making another for herself.

"What is the matter, Aryia? You said you wished to speak about them more." Seyardu asks. "And this one would like to hear about them more, as it sounds like you are getting along well."

The scattered sandwich was replaced with a fajita, her disappointment abated somewhat. But the blush remains as she gestures with her fajitaless hand. "I don't mind, but you kind of just told her I slept with Violet."

Which... such facts weren't being actively denied. <Handspeech>

"I am no sure what the issue is, Aryia." Seyardu says, tucking in the pita she was working on. "Thurid seemed happy to hear it, and you are happy with her. And people sleep together all the time I have heard."

"But I apologize, if that was not meant to be shared. It is obvious from your current appearance and scent, but I can ignore that or not bring it up in the future."

Aryia, flustered, makes a few choppy and stuttery signs. "Y-Yes people d-do but- people don't go around saying who they f- ah, forget it," she drops the whole thing. "Just don't say you smell her on me. For softskins that means... something else entirely."

Oh look, another drink. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiip. A sigh, and she nibbles on her replaced not-sandwich. "Yes, I am happy with her."

Seeking something- anything else to talk about, Aryia throws out, "I had the weirdest fucking dream the other night." <Handspeech>

"Ah, yes, if it is different, then I understand. I will ask you for advice some other time." Seyardu nods, leaving the subject be. "I am glad you are happy with her."

Seyardu bites into her wrap, and raises a brow. "I did not know you have dreams Aryia, in the resting sense. Unless you are speaking of a strange aspiration, which I do not believe you are. Would you like to speak of it?"

Aryia rubs her neck and shakes her head, dispelling her embarrassment. "I sometimes do, if I'm relaxed enough while resting. But this was... something else entirely."

She sits up more, carefully adding more gestures to explain, "I... I don't what the fuck was going on. I saw a man with wings. Something about an Ice Wall Mountain. It's to the north or something. It felt... really fucking weird, Seyardu. Like I was reading a story book, but played out in my head. It's been on my mind for a couple of days now." <Handspeech>

Seyardu pauses, and sets down her wrap, tilting her head. "That is strange, as I had the exact same dream recently." She admits. "I do not know what to make of it, what is safe to make of it. But the fact that you had the same is no coincidence."

"Perhaps someone is trying to contact us through these dreams. Something of a blessing in the icewall mountains, and restoring balance."

Aryia sits upright, her eyes widening. "... what the fuck...?" she crudely motions, head tilting far to the side. Her gestures are confused and discombobulated. "What... what is that supposed to mean? Is... are we... why would they do that? We're just... random fucking people?" <Handspeech>

"Yes, it is bizarre, for certain." Seyardu nods, her meal ignored for the moment, and her attention on her friend fully. "It could be a well meaning message and vision, or it could be a trap."

But Thurid's words were still in her head, and the silver sith-makar shakes her head. "This one would not consider you a random person, certainly not now. There are tasks which would be trusted to you and myself that would not be to others more inexperienced. You have fought fiends and succeeded, liberated slaves, fought the servants of swamp witches and dragons."

Seyardu chuckles now. "You have come a long way from when we arrived here, we both have."

Aryia gives a small sigh, her hanging her head some, but stopping as the Angorite's words also were echoing in her noggin. A long sigh leaves her. "Yes. We're not. It's just... hard to think of myself like that. I remember you telling me you can't channel that much of your goddess, leaving you exhausted. And then we look at what we did in Charn, and how much you were keeping us up."

She rubs at her face, leaning in almost conspiratorially. "So what are we going to do about this? Do you want to go check this out? Or... what should we do?" <Handspeech>

"Yes, I am capable of much more magic than I used to be. Perhaps it is simply from use, or training, but I will continue what I am doing, to continue improving." Seyardu nods, and smiles. "It was still draining, in Charn, but I was capable of much more before being exhausted. That being said, I cannot remember the last time I slept as deeply or as long as on that boat. Thank you for helping me get back to it, after leaving the place."

She reaches for her wrap to chew a moment. "I do not think it can be ignored. It should not be trusted blindly, but if it is dangerous, I would rather be there with you than not."

"You're welcome. I think I fell asleep on the boat as well, surprisingly."

Aryia sips on the last of her drink, rubbing her chin in thought. "... I wasn't going to go. But if you're with me... I feel a lot better about our chances if it is a trap." She closes her eyes. "... when should we go? It's going to probably be a long trip." <Handspeech>

"It was not specific on the time frame." Seyardu notes, though she sighs afterwards. "That does not mean lingering on it is a good idea either, though. If it may not be a trap, and there is some blessing which may help us, then the sooner is the better. That being said, there is business still in Alexandria."

Then she takes her drink to sip, looking down to her friend. "I would, ask you something. How did you go about professing your feelings for Violet?"

Aryia gives a firm nod. "The benefits outweigh the risks. I'll see to figuring out more about the area if I can, and get prepared. It sounds cold up there, thankfully Aya gave me some boots that help with that a while back."

She raises a brow, her tilting her head to the side as some embarrassment crosses her features. "Uh... it was... really awkward for me. We were talking about some things, and I told her I needed to speak with her about something. I.. told her that I liked her, and I was really worried that I messed up the friendship. She said she liked me as well, but I wasn't sure. I told her I was fond of her and... well. Things sort of fell into place after that.""

Her face was blazing crimson. But she presses on. "Uh... why do you ask?" <Handspeech>

"Pack gear for the cold, and I will as well. It does not bother me too much, but if it gets too cold, better to be safe." Seyardu nods. Though her attention is more on the second part of the response, and she reaches to rub the side of her face.

"It was, I can imagine it would be awkward, and hard on the nerves, yes." She agrees, before she looks away. "It is, I was looking for advice. I did not realize how much missed spending time with one until I saw them again. That is all."

She turns to look around the room. "Did someone add some more logs to the fireplace?"

There is a long. Loooooooooooooong pause from Aryia. Her eyes widening slowly at a pace that a snail could outrun as realization dawned on her.

A silent gasp.

She abruptly stands, and points at Seyardu, a grin cracking across her features. "Seyardu! Nice! That's wonderful!" <Handspeech>

The long pause leaves Seyardu staring at the fire, rubbing at the side of her face. It was only the quiet noise of the exhale that makes her jerk her head back. She smiles back, a bit more subdued than usual.

"It is, nice, and wonderful for certain, or I hope it will be." She admits, looking a bit unsure. "But, I have not directly stated my feelings, as you have. And I worry about that."

Aryia returns to her chair, her in much better spirits now that her awkwardness was mutual. "As... stupid and obvious as it sounds, it's pretty to just be direct about it. It worked for me, and you know how fucking terrible I am at talking to people." <Handspeech>

"I would, like to be direct about it, Aryia." Seyardu replies, finally settling her hand back to rest on a leg as she begins preparing another fajita. This one uses some of the cheeses leftover from Thurid's platter. "But, I think I understand. I am just worried, perhaps unreasonably, about their response."

She looks to her bag. "I still have the scale polish Cryosanthia gave me so many months back, but I have not had reason to use it. Do you, think that I should put some on, before I speak with them?"

A sigh leaves the mute woman. Her repeating some gestures like the wisdom was passed onto her from another source. "The bad feelings of regret from not acting on it will outweigh the unknowns. Trust me. And what if things go smoothly? It'd give you a world of good. Believe it or not, a sith-makar told me that. Roughly."

She gives a little smile. "Do it. I got this earrings for Violet. I like them now, but I still did it for her. Maybe they'll notice if you polish your scales? But really, be direct. Just tell them you like them, you're fond of them, and want to spend more time with them. If they don't, then that's it. You get sad about it for a bit, then move on. You and I live too long to get hung up on these things." <Handspeech>

"A sith-makar told you that?" Seyardu asks, seeming surprised for a moment, before she sighs, and busies herself with a bite from the second wrap. "This one, never had a nest-mother to explain these things. Perhaps they speak true."

Then, she nods slowly. "Maybe they would, and if they liked it, that would be good. I would like to see how much shinier it makes them. And, you are right, Aryia. I should tell them that. I just, I really hope that it is not the case. I have never had to deal with the rejection like in those crimson pen books I read, but it always seems to make the protagonists feel awful."

Aryia gives a deep nod. "Yes. They even had a Chiuaa. So they kind of know from life experience."

A long sigh leaves the mute, her stealing the last of Thurid's dish as she stands. "Yes. Rejection might suck, like in those books. But the regret of missing the opportunity to be accepted will weigh far worse on your mind." <Handspeech>

"Then I should take their opinion to heart, as it seems to have worked for you." Seyardu chuckles. "It, it might. And I would not want to miss out on it. I should be honest with myself, as you have been."

"Who knows, you might have something nice to look forward to on the shitty days. And there's been a lot of those." Aryia cracks her neck and massages her left arm. "Right, I'm going to head back to my room. Got some... stuff to do. And things. Good to see you Seyardu," she motions with her good hand, it finishing with resting on the silverscale's shoulder. <Handspeech>

"It would be nice, yes, having someone nice to look forward to seeing again. Not to say I do not look forward to seeing you, but you know what I mean." Seyardu chuckles, rubbing her face again. "Ah, I understand. If Violet is still there, give her my greetings if you want to. Peace on your nest, Aryia."

She mirrors the gesture with a hand on Aryia's shoulder, before it returns to the table. "Food is on me, so don't worry about settling with the waiting staff."

Aryia's face dashes red for a moment before nodding slowly. "... if she's there, I will," she gestures vaguely with a small smile. There is a shake of her head. "You always buy food for others. Save it. Thurid was already generous enough."

The elf closes her eyes, and nods to herself. "... right. Catch you later."

The mute woman scoops up a drink along the way, but she all but hops back up the steps to the rooms above. <Handspeech>

-End Scene-
